Alright, consider this.

Say that, for some reason, California suddenly had an uptick in cancer diagnosis. You decide to research why.

You come across an academic study with a large participant pool. The point of the study is to figure out why so many Californians have cancer. In the opening abstract, the researcher acknowledges A) that there are people from other states with cancer; and B) there are still Californians who DONT have cancer. They were not included in this study because the researcher wanted to focus specifically on Californians with cancer.

The researcher runs their tests. They come to the conclusion that the Californians they tested have cancer for XYZ reasons.

You personally come to the conclusion that all Californians have cancer, based off your interpretations of the results.

can we try to move away from saying "kids calling themselves [nontraditional gender identity]" and start saying "people who are [nontraditional gender identity]” when stating that oh-so-common argument that “truscum should respect kids who call themselves [nontraditional gender identity]”? its started to make me uncomfortable how a lot of anti-truscum stuff is "let people experiment" instead of "let people exist"

i understand that truscum mainly target nonbinary kids and that your goal is to protect them, but you still send the message that being nonbinary is some kind of phase, when, for a huge chunk of people, its... not. there are nonbinary kids and nonbinary adults, gender non-conforming kids and gender non-conforming adults, and those kids and adults are seeing your posts, and theyre getting the message that there is no nonbinary past the age of eightteen.

and its not that experimenting kids shouldnt be respected and protected! they should. but you need to acknowledge that thats not all that the nonbinary community is. we are something strong and natural and beautiful, and we are something that will last. end of story.

hi! my name is dominic and im a trans nonbinary guy/demiboy and i use both he/him/his/himself pronouns and xe/xem/xyr/xemself pronouns.

here is how you would apply them in conversation:

"xe is rather nice!"

"i like to hang out with xem!"

"yeah, i like xyr art!"

"xe has a lot to learn, xemself."

Just because I use a set of neopronouns does not give you the right to misgender me in any way, shape or form. If you don't want to use my set of gender neutral pronouns, use he/him.
