JAZZPROWL FIC RECS PLS?

I have read a LOT of JazzProwl fics in my three years hyperfixating on Transformers (kind of have to with J/P being 90% of fics where Jazz gets any relevancy), but I come to you all with a beseeching plea.

Where are the JazzProwl fics where Jazz is the one being courted and sought after as Prowl is pursuing him? Where is the JazzProwl content where Prowl is openly affectionate and loving, even if awkward about it? The fics where it's reciprocal behavior for them, or even just Prowl being the primary pursuer the relationship?

I like JazzProwl!! But I feel like there has to be more content with Prowl being proactive and invested than I've been finding lately. There's got to be more where it's not Jazz doing majority of the work to have a functioning (if not always healthy) relationship. More fics and art of Jazz being shown love by Prowl and not Jazz always being the affectionate one while Prowl is just flustered/blushing/being publicly stoic/etc. Give me fics of Jazz being the one who gets the love and affection and not always having to work overtime to "earn" it by proving his worth to Prowl (or everyone being like "Prowl manage your mech" like Jazz is a fucking toddler drawing on the walls).

I'm not even going to list fics I've already read that I remember because I want everything ya got. Who knows, maybe I binged it too fast the first time I read it, and I could give it another go. I don't really do bookmarks on AO3, so my life is a roulette wheel of remembering how many fics I've already read, but it's been a loooooot.

I will say I rarely ever read anything under 1k words. I can't taste a bite that small.

(I will also plead for accept recs of them being utter gremlins to each other and yet somehow working out, I love that dynamic with them.)

Decepticons are deeply kratocratic, and their beauty standards would reflect the strongest among them — the Decepticon elite. Therefore the Seeker frame type is one of the molds that is commonly recognized as quite handsome.

Starscream slightly disagrees with that notion. To him, Seekers aren't just attractive and strong, they are the embodiment of perfection. They dominate the skies with their speed and agility. A force to be reckoned with that other flyers could only look upon with envy. They are mighty and alluring. Ruthless and stunning.

As much as Starscream would love to ogle at his own body, he can admire every detail of the Seeker form when he's in bed with Skywarp or Thundercracker. The flawless nature of their frames can be observed best through gentle caresses of their seams and plating. A playful touch along their cockpit or fondling their sensitive wings. Starscream’s mouth sucks at their perfectly aligned neck cables as his hand migrates down to their array. The attention he gives there is unhurried. Slow strokes pass from the spike base to its tip. His fingers circle their outer node and dip into their valve in nothing more than a sluggish massage. Starscream's movements praise every inch of them. His Seekers deserve nothing less.

Thundercracker is more receptive to this treatment than Skywarp. He'll relax, allowing Starscream to cherish him without interruption. Sometimes he will overload from the incessant teasing alone. Quietly shaking under his air commander.

Skywarp, on the other hand, is far too impatient. He'd rather Starscream skip the pointless body worship and get right to interfacing. He'll complain while rocking his hips against the hand between his legs. Perhaps even forcing a swap in position by pinning Starscream to the berth instead. Though it's just as well. Starscream can appreciate the beautiful sight of his comrades from underneath them too.

Personality Quiz Help?

A while back, there was this very well done Transformers Alt Mode Personality Quiz. However, it has since been deleted and/or destroyed. Therefore, I have taken upon myself to recreate it and make it better to the best of my abilities.

How does any of this relate to you? I can hear you thinking.

Well, I am not super knowledgeable about alt modes and the personalities / stereotypes connected to them, and although I can simply spend hours researching the subject, I thought it would be fitting if I asked Tumblr. (That and I am low-key curious about what you all think)

So, uh, help me out and type out some of your thoughts about alt modes and any facts about the subject. Anything will be appreciated

…you guys think any of the transformers have a genuine phobia of humans (or other small organics) like not a hate or even a simple disgust but an actual honest to god irrational FEAR. We see enough cybertronians either explicitly like, hate, or be disgusted by humans but never really fear, especially to the point of a phobia, in practice I’d assume it’d be similar to insect or spider phobias, basically just a fear of little creepy crawlies scuttling around on you but it would be so funny- in some ways we’re like jumping spiders, smart and curious and perhaps a bit mischievous, and also very quick for our size.

Speaking as someone who is generally freaked out by spiders and has recently had 2 jumping spiders use me as a flotation device in a pool, I can confirm it is extremely unsettling to see them look you in the eye and then take off towards your neck area 💀 I didn’t squish them as they’re actually very friendly to humans but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t actively full body shivering and making awful noises as I felt them scuttle around where I couldn’t see them.

The long and short of it is that I would like to see a human use their robot buddy as a rock climbing wall and have said robot buddy be silently crying in horror the entire time at the feeling of a little squishy thing scrambling up their body at a surprising pace.

I'm a bit mad that there's not much discussion about the idea of artificially/synthetic-made Cybertronians by humans or any alien species outside Cybertron or the Primes or the AllSpark...

I think that is more interesting that Humans turn Cybertronians or Cybertronians becoming humans.

Just imagine, a bot that was not born with a ¨real¨ spark meets a Bot or Con. How would Optimus and Megatron feel realizing that others like them exist but there not LIKE them?

They are not Decepticons, Autobots, Predacons, Constructicons, Seekers, or City Speakers... they're just not like them.

They can transform and do all the things that a Cybertronian can do, they can look like them, and depending on how the concept is handled they can feel like anyone else. But would that make them Cybertronians? Just like in the species they are based on?

Maybe Optimus could offer the hand-made Bots a spark with the Matrix and that could fix everything, but what if they decline the offer? Is a choice, right? To prefer to be what you are even if it means that they do not see you as real...

This could be darker if we remember that Cybertron is kind of racist towards organics...

Technically they could like the Terrans, but no. Though Mo and Robbie helped to make the Terrans, they're still Cybertronian-like made.

Or I don't know, what do you guys think? Or maybe you @agentsquirrelsgotrobots will understand me.

ok im going to #seriouspost for a second here. I don't think Harry Potter is a manifesto. I think it was a flawed passion project that millennials latched onto because of the fantasy of sticking it to their mean teachers and arbitrarily categorizing themselves (hogwarts houses; it's the thinking millennial's astrology). I think the fact that the series got popular when and how it did was very much a product of its time.

I don't think Harry Potter is the biggest symbol of JKR's bigotry. I think the most flagrant sign of that was how she responded to critics. I watched her become radicalized in real time. I watched how she doubled down on her racism when she was called out for the ways she promoted her tragically mid fantastic beasts movies. I watched her chase marginalized teenagers with a double digit follower count off of twitter for daring to criticize her thought process, and no one with any kind of power standing against her because she was the one who was paying them. This isn't to say Harry Potter is without flaws. This is to say she really didn't give a shit about that. Getting rich and powerful is a hell of a drug, and she had enough sycophants that she had no reason to care about what her critics were saying.

She was convinced that she was a martyr; a voice for the unheard; a leader for the ages, so of course her detractors were the bad guys. And I think we should take this to heart. We should see this as an example of how easy it is to get radicalized; if you think of yourself as a paragon of virtue, you are going to think that whatever you see as good and right is an objective fact. Most people don't know this, but the majority of terfs start out as trans allies. You are not immune to propaganda! You are not immune to falling into dangerous ideologies!!!

This is why the most important thing you can do as an activist is to listen. Do NOT think you're above being wrong; do NOT develop a god complex; do NOT form an identity out of being right all the time. Involve yourselves in the groups you claim to speak for. Listen to trans women; share resources that help trans women; familiarize yourself with the diversity of experiences that trans people have and the struggles they face.

No, none of you are as bad as JKR because you don't have her money or her power. You will likely never have the capacity for harm she does. But check yourselves. Do not affirm yourselves into thinking you always have the moral high ground. Watch yourselves; humble yourselves; check yourselves for signs of cult behavior and internalized prejudice. You are always learning. You will always be learning. Do not allow yourselves to get a power trip from brushing off marginalized voices.

I can't bother to look for it, but I remember once seeing a post of someone saying they had "post nut zoomies". lol

I could genuinely see this being something a Cybertronian could have. Particularly with mechs who've got vehicle alt-modes.

The charge that is typically released during overloads could get partly redirected to their transportation engine, and this will give the person an overwhelming urge to begin driving or flying. I feel like this phenomenon would effect high performance/sporty vehicles the most.

Imagine you have someone like Blurr, who just finished a round of passionate interfacing. His partner is expecting him to relax and cuddle. But nah, he's gotta go out and speed down a highway right now immediately. He just gotta. 🚗💨💨

Fic Prompts: Transformers Tuesday

“Alright, Autobot,” Onslaught growled, “Tell us how to get into the Prime Vault!”

The smaller mech stared at him incredulously. “Why would I know that?”

His kidnappers glared and Barricade shoved the Autobot roughly. “Don’t play innocent with us, Autobot. We know you work in the Archives.”

The Autobot blinked a few times, then in a tone of exaggerated patience, he said, “The Data Archives. Not the Artifact and History Archives. I don’t have clearance for that.”

Onslaught frowned and tried to puzzle through exactly where he’d gone wrong. “So…why can’t you get us into the vault?”

“I’M A LIBRARIAN!” Orion Pax exclaimed in exasperation, “Not a heist coordinator!”

Of course, he wasn’t…exactly...telling the truth. Maybe about half of it. He technically didn’t have clearance to go into the Artifact Archives. That didn’t mean he didn’t know how to get in.

That also didn’t mean he didn’t know how to get in and out without ever being detected. He and Alpha Trion had smuggled out and returned three appropriated Prime Artifacts to their home colonies so far and the Council was still completely in the dark about the mysterious “XIII” who left a calling card each time. Orion had even heard his friend Megatronus pondering trying to recruit the “artifact avenger” for his movement.

Sooner or later he was going to get caught, he knew. But for now, as long as everyone thought Orion Pax was the longsuffering data clerk, nobody suspected he had anything to do with Optimus, the Thirteenth Prime.
