Grandmaster :

Dark Knight, this is obvious. Mister misery dark brooding sadness man good at darking the knight what a surprisee

White Mage, not so obvious. He picked it up after Endwalker because he wanted to be more connected to the land, and it came really easily to him (although there were a few hiccups in the level 70s range because of how much light magic white mage uses overall there)

Alchemist - the necromancy.. although once he realised it was fake he dropped it. He can pick it back up like that though, since his memory is pretty much (almost) (ALMOST) perfect.

Master :

Bard was when he wanted something close to a gun (didn't know machinists and gunbreakers existed) and wanted to get at least something passingly familiar. Got really good at it, but his calling will forever be Big Sword

Red Mage, saw Alisaie using it and got curious where she learnt it from, hunted down X'ruhn and learnt that way!

Botanist, Miner and Weaver, mostly because he wanted to repair his things and clothes on the road. Also its good money.

Skilled :

Reaper, got curious when he heard it involved voidsent and Garleans, but never really got good at it since he's bad at communicating with his voidsent in general. He's not. good with teamwork.

Dragoon is. because of the Eyes. and something else (spoilers)

Goldsmith, because he likes small details on his clothes and wanted something like that he could do without paying someone else to do it. (both because of pride and individuality)

Fisher, picked it up after some pestering from a friend, but is still not really good at it.

Competent :

Black Mage and Monk, still learning! (I'm still levelling both of them up so I'm undecided on them.)

Blue Mage, little bit of a gag but I like to think he's really, really bad at it.

Unskilled : These are the jobs he was too busy to pick up and learn or just wasn't interested in. He'll change his tune in fifty years or so probably.

Incapable :

Culinarian, he could DEFINITELY master it (or at least become skilled in it) if he tried, but food puts him off nowadays. Hates thinking about food. (Mostly because he cant eat it anymore and he's really salty about that.)

Paladin (SPOILERS)

ok im going to #seriouspost for a second here. I don't think Harry Potter is a manifesto. I think it was a flawed passion project that millennials latched onto because of the fantasy of sticking it to their mean teachers and arbitrarily categorizing themselves (hogwarts houses; it's the thinking millennial's astrology). I think the fact that the series got popular when and how it did was very much a product of its time.

I don't think Harry Potter is the biggest symbol of JKR's bigotry. I think the most flagrant sign of that was how she responded to critics. I watched her become radicalized in real time. I watched how she doubled down on her racism when she was called out for the ways she promoted her tragically mid fantastic beasts movies. I watched her chase marginalized teenagers with a double digit follower count off of twitter for daring to criticize her thought process, and no one with any kind of power standing against her because she was the one who was paying them. This isn't to say Harry Potter is without flaws. This is to say she really didn't give a shit about that. Getting rich and powerful is a hell of a drug, and she had enough sycophants that she had no reason to care about what her critics were saying.

She was convinced that she was a martyr; a voice for the unheard; a leader for the ages, so of course her detractors were the bad guys. And I think we should take this to heart. We should see this as an example of how easy it is to get radicalized; if you think of yourself as a paragon of virtue, you are going to think that whatever you see as good and right is an objective fact. Most people don't know this, but the majority of terfs start out as trans allies. You are not immune to propaganda! You are not immune to falling into dangerous ideologies!!!

This is why the most important thing you can do as an activist is to listen. Do NOT think you're above being wrong; do NOT develop a god complex; do NOT form an identity out of being right all the time. Involve yourselves in the groups you claim to speak for. Listen to trans women; share resources that help trans women; familiarize yourself with the diversity of experiences that trans people have and the struggles they face.

No, none of you are as bad as JKR because you don't have her money or her power. You will likely never have the capacity for harm she does. But check yourselves. Do not affirm yourselves into thinking you always have the moral high ground. Watch yourselves; humble yourselves; check yourselves for signs of cult behavior and internalized prejudice. You are always learning. You will always be learning. Do not allow yourselves to get a power trip from brushing off marginalized voices.

it's extremely critical that you see the photo of the perp walk for luigi mangione as being propaganda. i've seen so many people wave it off and instead fawn over his looks. and trust me, i know it ended up being kind of pathetic and weird - but please don't brush it off as a "modelling opportunity" for him. it's a fucking terrifying message the police are sending.

i want to make a few comparisons here, in case you're not from the US or familiar with why the perp walk thing is something to pay attention to. just to set the groundwork for why this is a purposeful, unusual, and cruel act by the nyc police - for why this is not a common occurrence and for why that matters.

the prosecution alleges the show of force is due to the charge of "terrorism." for comparison, in june 2015, tsarnaev was found guilty for the boston marathon bombing, which killed 3 people and injured hundreds. his actions are considered to be an act of domestic terrorism. i have spent the last hour looking through google for pictures of similar to mangione's perp walk - and so far, i have found zero. i also just do not personally remember a moment like that, despite living in boston at the time.

they allege that luigi is a stone-cold killer who carried out a longterm plan, making him particularly dangerous. again for comparison: in nyc, recently cory martin was found guilty of the killing of brandy odom. the murder was planned and premeditated to steal insurance money. and yet no staged perp walk. why didn't her life matter enough for a "show of force"?

but mangione gets paraded by a veritable army of police officers as if he is a rabid animal. for a single citizen who allegedly killed one other single citizen, the "largest perp walk ever" occurs.

so what is the "strong message" that the mayor and the police were trying to send here? the mayor speaks as if mangione is already convicted of terrorism. there is a very thin number of people who feel threatened by the CEO's death. none of us felt like mangione needs to be under massive armed guard.

the message is that you shouldn't resist. they are trying to "make an example" of him - that if you behave badly and kill a single rich person, you'll be treated as if you killed hundreds of people. you will be treated worse than a man who was found guilty of terrorism. you will be considered guilty without trial. the message is that the rich are a protected class, and you cannot touch them without massive punishment. they are trying to prevent a revolution by showing dominance and force against you.

the message is that the police are a puppet of the wealthy and that the law is not equally applied across class disparity. it is "some are more equal than others." it is "one life is more precious than another."

the show of force wasn't for luigi. it was for us. it was a warning. they are trying to remind us who is really in control.
