I got a Pokemon Y ROM for funsies

It's serious. I spent ten hours on the game simply farming natures for my team. I have 4 Azurill stuck in the PC because none of them have the right nature. I spent hours raising friendship with the one Azurill with a Brave nature (even though it's meant to be a tank) and then caught like 3 different Honedge, 2 Hawlucha and 2 Sigilyph for the natures

And still no Timid Sigilyph. Best Derek could do was Gentle. I feel my sanity decreasing. I keep resetting the game to get an Adamant Tyrunt. I keep resetting the game to get a decent Aerodactyl. Now I need a Nosepass so I can smash the natural objects with Rock Slide, but first I need a Combee because NOSEPASS ONLY APPEAR IN HORDES ON ROUTE 10. AND ALL THAT APPEAR ARE FUCKING YANMA. I HATE YANMA

Nature farming is so annoying... I always tell myself I won't do it and then I do and I get upset tm and then I say "well that's the last time I'm doing that!" And then it's not.

Azumarill who is genuinely so happy to be around Azul! Yutu. For some reason I see it really wanting to help him get along with his dad so it tries waiting tables at the Mostro Lounge. Azul has mixed feelings about this, admittedly it is good for business but his son doesn't seem to happy about this.

anyway for pokemon lineups, here's a few (reminder that when i played pokemon sword my entire thing was "i want the pretty pokemon even if they're bad at fighting" sooo...odie totally plays like that. odie will take pokemons that look cool and contribute to his aesthetic. vi takes the cool looking ones)

might draw some art of them. might not. they’ve been on my mind for like.. the past few years lol!!

Training Headcanons:

- They are always each other’s go-to training partners, no questions asked. - Nowadays, essentially the Pokémon equivalent of going on a date— to them, anyway— is a good, no-holds-barred training session. (And when I say no-holds-barred, I mean it. Neither of them ever hold anything back.) - Rather than long-range combat, they both prefer melee fighting should they be sparring one-on-one. Greninja was actually the one to suggest this as he’d always felt he could improve on his close-range abilities (and who better to help him with that than a whole freakin’ wrestler?). They also like the intimacy that comes with it, mainly cause’ they’re free to exchange flirty lines (or even steal a quick smooch) all they want throughout. - Hawlucha is usually the first to over-exert himself, whether intentionally or otherwise. - He’s also prone to brushing training injuries off as a result of this over-exertion as if they hadn’t happened, but Greninja knows better—- even if Hawlucha is convinced he doesn’t, that perhaps he’s simply worrying too much about nothing. Gren’s known him long enough to notice even the most subtle of winces, or that telltale falter in Hawlucha’s gait when he’s pushed himself a mite too hard, however, and Hawlucha finds it astounding how quickly Greninja can make the switch from an unwaveringly fierce opponent to a tender, caring partner should he sense that something is off. - There’s nothing Greninja loves more than Hawlucha giving it his all, but he never wants to make him feel like he’s got to prove anything to him. He wishes he did not have to remind the fighting-type of this so frequently, but alas… - Greninja used to find himself almost disappointed if he wasn’t able to train with Hawlucha specifically. He used to think he did a good job at hiding it, but the increasing frequency with which Ash would pair him up with Hawlucha or, better yet, the frequency with which their friends would conveniently opt to spar with someone else so that Greninja and Hawlucha would end up together served as the piquant reality check he so desperately seemed to need. - Hawlucha will thoroughly check Greninja for injuries after training sessions; The methodical way Hawlucha runs his claws along Greninja’s skin and the glint of worry that flashes in his eyes once he’s spotted something amiss send Greninja’s heart on a rapid-fire pace without fail, every time. He’s not used to being doted on, either. - If Hawlucha is hurt severely in a battle or other altercation, Greninja will see red, because how dare someone cause him such a terrible degree of pain? If the threat has not been taken care of, Greninja will be absolutely merciless towards it— not even Hawlucha himself (OR Ash) can restrain him when he gets to be this way. After the threat has been eliminated, however, Greninja makes the switch into a doting, concerned lover. Hawlucha typically isn’t able to go anywhere without him while he heals. - Hawlucha is similar should Greninja find himself hurt, but he will typically become reclusive and resigned after the fact as he feels he should have been there to prevent Greninja from being injured.

Bonus: No, they have not re-attempted Super Flying Cut since Froakie evolved. And no, that’s not because the one time they did try it, Hawlucha went careening straight to the ground the moment Greninja tried to leap onto his back. Not at all.

Other Headcanons!

- Once Greninja and Hawlucha did finally get together, they stopped quarreling so much— but that’s not to say they don’t get into fights at all anymore. Nowadays, their fights are usually brought on by Hawlucha being reckless and, subsequently, Greninja getting upset with him for putting himself in danger. As much as Hawlucha likes to brush Greninja’s concerns off, he.. actually quite likes the warmth he feels when Greninja worries about him. It isn’t very often he experiences that level of care. - They don’t like to fight at all, though. Sometimes, one or both of them will take a minute to decompress after an argument, but the period never lasts all that long— they don’t like being mad at each other for too long. - Between Hawlucha and Greninja, Hawlucha is actually more of a morning ‘mon than Greninja is— but that’s because Greninja’s time in Kalos left him experiencing several monotonous, lonely mornings on the daily— of course, being roused by wayward roots on occasion certainly doesn’t help. - Greninja typically isn’t very protective— he knows Hawlucha is fully capable of handling himself. That, however, goes completely out of the window if some other Pokémon is trying to make a pass at Hawlucha. Typically the luchador is… pretty clueless, to the romantic advances of other Pokémon (unless, of course, it’s Greninja), but that doesn’t stop them from trying to woo the luchador. Greninja, as much as he hates to admit it, has his own insecurities, and so he typically doesn’t hesitate to get confrontational with another Pokémon trying to get with Hawlucha. He also makes a lot of physical contact with Hawlucha if he suspects an outsider is trying to get romantic with him— whether that be through hand-holding, small kisses, fond glances, or an excessive use of nicknames. - Hawlucha is a lot quieter about his jealousy. Mostly, he just fumes quietly so as not to draw attention to himself or Greninja, but he does cling to Greninja far more than usual— not that the frog really minds.

At one point when I was procrastinating on stuff I decided to build some SV teams for some of my fave pokemon characters for a scenario where the DLC added a battle-tree type thing where you could battle trainers from older games (I'm not necessarily expecting this to be a thing I just wanted an excuse to build new teams) so

The rules are no paradox pokemon, no more than 1 pseudo-legendary on a team, the final pokemon has to terastalise, and I'm sticking to the pre-Home and pre-DLC pokedex.

Starting off with Cynthia:

Cynthia has a couple of different teams across different games, but Spiritomb in the front Lucario in the middle Garchomp at the back is something of a constant, and luckily for me they're all available in Paldea for me to use. From there my main goal was keeping a good type spread, which is what Cynthia's team is usually known for, while also respecting her general aesthetic.

Lycanroc (Dusk form) takes her second slot because Cynthia has a tendency for using Pokemon difficult or at least annoying to obtain, and Dusk Form Lycanroc is in my opinion unique enough to fit in with that. While it's not necessarily my first pick for her, I think it works in well with the type spread here and can keeps up with other pokemon she's used. For as much as I'd love to give her a Noivern or a Grimmsnarl I felt this was the better option, though I'd be open to hearing alternatives!

Kilowattrel was my choice for the third slot because I had to choose at least one Gen 9 Pokemon for her new team, and Electric/Flying is a pretty good typing and I can see Cynthia liking this Pokemon aesthetically. It's all black and yellow.

Hatterene is here because Psychic/Fairy is a good typing and Cynthia likes using elegant looking Pokemon, but Gardevoir is property of Diantha so Hatterene is a nice alternative. She's purely here for aesthetics but I feel she pulls her weight as a threat in her own right, I'm sure a Hatterene in Cynthia's hands would be a headache.

Finally, Garchomp gets Steel as its Tera-type, for the more defensive option. If you thought you were bringing a Fairy type to this fight, think again!

Now for Diantha:

Diantha only has her Gen 6 team for me to build a new team from, but the three available options in Paldea are the options I would have gone with anyway. Hawlucha starts her off, Goodra comes in at the close, and then you have Gardevoir at the finish line. Similar to Cynthia, Diantha has a pretty good type spread so that was what I wanted to focus on as well, and ultimately I'm pretty happy with this team.

Closdire was my pick for her second slot, because if Goodra is anything to go by Diantha likes cute, goofy looking Pokemon and Clodsire can definitely hold its own, especially if it has Water Absorb to complement Goodra's Sap Sipper, giving it an extra immunity.

Palafin is next up, which would ideally switch out to its Hero form at the first opportunity. It's a good Pokemon on its own (if it can get its Hero form up) but thematically I think it's very fun for Diantha to have the hidden superhero gimmick Pokemon. Reminds me of Sina and Dexio a bit, too.

Ceruledge is a personal pick, because given her Tyrantrum I think it's safe to say Diantha likes tough-looking Pokemon too and maybe I wanted her to match with a certain other fire type. Fire/Ghost is a good typing that rounds out the cast, so I'm pretty happy with it here.

Lastly, for as much as I'd love to give Diantha an Iron Valiant, she must have her Gardevoir and I've chosen to give it the offensive Fairy Tera-type. I'd have loved to give it Fire as a defense against steel but ultimately I prefer the more offensive approach in place of a Mega Evoution, and Fairy over Psychic to remind you which games the Fairy type debuted in.

And for Malva:

This is purely me having fun with it at this point. Malva gets her three available Pokemon but switches out Armarouge for Chandelure. I simply want her to have it. She's even got a matching ponytail they're like sisters.

Also she gets Salazzle because is there a more Malvacore Pokemon? They're both bad bitches they're gossiping about you they're toxic as hell. Give Malva a Salazzle 2024 this is my agenda.

And of course Talonflame gets Grass as a Tera-type. If you think you were sweeping with a water type think again!!!

Anyway if you have any thoughts or suggestions about these teams lemme know! I'd also be open to doing more but also if you want to try it yourself it's a lot of fun go for it

Also not all of them will have super detailed descriptions. Really Chili’s team is the only one who’ll get a little description since he might get a side story later, I think everything else is gonna be lists and rationale for the team composition.

Chili:

Hisuian Decidueye (male) - found him as a Rowlet shortly after Chili joined up with the Diamond Clan and he wouldn’t stop following Chili because Chili had food. Decidueye is protective and highly competitive, but he has a good heart overall.

Gastrodon (east sea) (male) - caught in battle as a Shellos. Gastrodon is quiet, likes to stare at everything around him, but he’s a competent battler.

Hisuian Arcanine (female) - caught rummaging around his bag when she was a Growlithe. Arcanine is cheery and playful, though she seems to forget how big she is sometimes and try to cuddle like she’s still a Growlithe.

Overqwil (male) - caught in battle as a Qwilfish. Overqwil is very temperamental and a little aggressive, but he at least follows orders even if he likes getting a rise out of Chili.

Ninetales (female) - caught in battle as a Vulpix. Ninetales loves attention of any kind, and she carries herself with a calm elegance. She hates getting her fur dirty, and she generally acts like she owns the place.

Gible (male) - the youngest of Chili’s team, chose to be caught after Chili found him by himself in the Alabaster Icelands. iPad baby (said with all affection, he does that like open-mouthed stare kids do sometimes and cannot stand not being able to chew on something).

Also, Chili has a secret second team so secret he doesn’t even know it exists (it’s his Unovan team):

Hey Billy! Ik I've been kinda dead but I was checking my dashboard for a hot sec and wanted to indulge your vilain Diantha team. Going by the scenario Diantha grows cynical and depressed, in big part from the industry, celebrity culture and mayhaps if we're feeling spicy, unjustified male dominance in every field.

I'd imagine her heart might ache too much to keep majority of her movie and stage performance inspired team, might even actively look for ugly Pokémon to "repugnate", Pokémon that are known to be agressive/vilified, Pokémon you might cut yourself on or literally tough shells.

Tried to stick to Pokémon you can find in Pokémon X and Y. Also didn't bother optimizing her team too much since in og game it's also mostly flavor/implication based too.

I think she would still have her Hawlucha, although might not let it fight. You'd find out post game about her relationship to it. Maybe as part of a redemption arc, or a deeper look into her perspective? Maybe she'd even fight you again with a beefed up team based on her old one? No clue. Anyways that frees up one spot.

Depending on character reading, she could still have Gardevoir. Would be telling of her love for her team and the still lingering love for pure performance. If you wanna fully lean into how she feels discarded and the burning hatred within, a Banette that can mega evolve might be the next best thing. Most likely not as strong but very cool conceptually. The two faced Mawile/Mega Mawile also has a lot of potential, and keeps the fairy type. Fucking busted ass Pokémon that wipes your whole ass team too lmao.

I like a Gigalith, and an Avalugg, following the idea of having enclosed oneself in a tough shell, and kinda keeping the dynamic between Tyrantrum and Aurorus type/appearance wise.

Could also consider Nidoking and Nidoqueen instead of Tyrantrum and Aurorus. Big scary defensive Pokémon that will poison your ass.

Haxorus, Noivern or Hydreigon instead of Goodra. Don't think I gotta do much elaborating on this besides pointing at Pokédex data. I would've said 100% Hydreigon if not for the fact it's been done to death as big bully on the antagonist's team.

Obligatory Trevenant as Pumpkaboo's foil. Its agressive although protective nature might be interesting to play with. I could also see Malamar fit in there. God it's kinda very weak but something about its oddness is just so delightful and she'd LOVE that too. Has the regal fucked up vibes too.

For a Sinnoh originated Pokémon for a good reference to Cynthia : Gliscor might be a great flying alternative to Hawlucha. Also has an excellent movepool. Actually a big fan of Skuntank for her too. Imagine her carrying that thing around her like a massive fur boa. Magmortar wouldn't be a bad idea either although unobtainable in XY as is. Very strong and versatile movepool, hated by most people because "ugly".

Ok your picks fascinate me.

Firstly, I am enchanted by the implications with Hawlucha. It is a heroic Pokemon, one that I see fighting for justice and good.... Which is fascinating in the context of a villain!Diantha. Could she have gotten it when she was younger and more naive about the cruelty of showbiz, thinking she could make a difference in the world? Could her relationship with her Hawlucha become strained over time as she becomes more and more jaded and turns away from the morals she and her beloved Pokemon started out with? Or could it potentially be a lifeline at some point to her, that helps anchor her again and grow into a better person?? Or even, could Hawlucha be a reflection of Diantha and he himself also slowly turns, just as she does, and effectively embraces a "heel" persona rather than the more standard hero that most Hawlucha embody? Sincerely, fascinating to me.

Also a big fan of the choice of Banette and/or Mawile, the idea of Banette being a reflection of a "toy" that has been used up and is no longer "useful" and grows resentful due to that is too perfect. But also, I like Mawile, as like you said, it embodies a two-faced nature.

I was personally also considering a Scovillain for her, for similar reasons, in that it embodies a two-faced quality as well as the dramatic theatre masks.

And Skuntank.... Well. I'm biased lmao

i do think the angsty badgeless guy is interesting just because it's the first time the perspective of someone who didn't get all their badges in time hasn't really been shown before. even if he is kind of a footnote (unless it happened in os or something and I forgot)

and paralleling ash's battle against that guy with trevor's battle is fun

this has nothing to do with the battle & it's also not really utilized by the anime but it's interesting to think about how draco meteor is kind of an attack associated with friendship… it doesn't rely on it like moves like Return, but typically it can only be taught in the games once you have high friendship with a dragon-type. so when someone used it, it kind of implies a lot about their friendship with their pokémon

oh the stronger-stronger mantra is back. also i guess it's fitting since others already tossed out mega evolution but it's still kind of suprising he leans on bond phenomenon so early into the tournament

ofc they describe ash as a "star trainer". this poor kid's never getting out of the limelight in the kalos region

(i looked it up & bulbapedia counts this as an error & apparently the episode is edited on at least hulu of japan to take a notch out of raichu's tail. so it's simultaneously gay king raichu AND trans queen raichu??? that's awesome. people need to post about this instead of pikachu with a heart tail from the theatre troupe episode)

so knowing blastoise was on its last legs, he had it use a set-up move for his next pokémon (raichu, I'm assuming it's set-up for thunder). awesome (i was right about thunder. here's the thing… mega sceptile's ability is lightning rod… ←knows this very well from raising a mega sceptile just to try and make SOS chaining dedenne easier (←it did not get easier)) why does mega sceptile have lightning rod in the first place though… it already has double resistance to electricity as a grass- and dragon-type. oh, right, it's because VGC is doubles. you can use it to defend a teammate.

i like goodra but it's so mean that they point out he has the option of transferring in a lab pokémon

I FORGOT HAWLUCHA DRESSES UP FOR THIS MATCH!!!! so awesome aw he wasn't even in the battle for more than a few minutes. sad & fail. so yeah as an adaptation of its ability slaking is essentially a "charge attack"… it sits around for a while, but when it does finally attack, it's extremely strong.

it is kinda wild how everything sawyer does is a counter to ash's pokémon. it makes for an interesting battle for sure, but it's also kinda like… this kid needs to get a hobby…

pikachu brings the first fun usage of the battlefield terrain

so to prevent pikachu from using the battlefield in a fun way, he chops down every tree. that makes sense. (i wonder if the battlefield shows up again in the finals… it probably does but it also seems like a huge pain to repair)

it's the kind of battle that's incredibly fun to watch but not a lot to say. they put all the animation into this part of the battle.

they should have had sawyer be the XY rival who showed up in the world championship instead of alain. altho maybe not because it's hilarious that alain instantly lost to cynthia

hitting charizard with so many moves in rapid succession… it brings to mind trying to rush a kill in a fighting game. like trying too hard to grab your opponent because you know they're damaged enough that ness's back throw will be an insta kill. he knows charizard is alain's last pokémon, so he's rushing to take it down as fast as possible, while possibly not paying enough attention to everything else.

here's the part where alain starts mirroring charizard's movements. oh wait that was also the end of the battle. this was more anti-climatic than i remembered

a lot of people point out that water shuriken had the type advantage in the last exchange of moves, but that's entirely untrue due to mega charziard X being part dragon-type. it was a neutral match-up on both sides.

Troubled Pokémon

I’ve been in a serious art funk. For about three weeks I haven’t been able to produce ANYTHING except for a painting for my friend of her dogs. I have barely touched my tablet, it was discouraging to even scribble anything out, and it felt like my will to art had vanished. My day job has also been bearing down on me and its just. been a drag.

So naturally ive been playing pokemon. And I found a new appreciation I had never had for Hawlucha. I kind of love everything about it? So I had to draw it. Here is my hawlucha currently in my pokemon X file i’m working through. She is a good girl named Shiner because she was found with a black eye and a chip on her shoulder. But yeah. I should be back to my commissions very soon (like tomorrow!) and streaming art and games again. Until then, enjoy some smol Brawlbirds.

because generally if I can't draw a certain pokemon, i lean into their other genetics to make it "work" for me, is what i've noticed at least

Def a lot less flashy and such. I do not mind hawlucha's colorings but when I design things that flashy stuff doesn't ring in my head just right. So leaned in real heavy on the pangoro BUT I do love that teal coloring that hawlucha has, so I made that the main accent color to pop out.

/looks in mirror/ Perhaps I just... really like cooler toned designs.... huh. ANYWAYS aside from making her fuzzy extremo I also added flowers that stick in her fuzzy chest that are from her girlfriend. I don't care if its in or out of character, i enjoy women (a normal amount) so she gets cute little flowers from her girlfriend this isn't up for debate [ No longer accepting these, just finishing up my inbox ]

•Cynthia and Diantha both have a sweet tooth so yeah their dates mostly consist of them eating a shitton of sweets

-theyd probs have dessert for breakfast too, and they had, and when Siebold found out he had a stroke and went to Diantha's house and cooked for them instead

•In my hcs and au, Cynthia's left eye is scarred since she was young, and the only people who knew about it was Cyrus, Prof Rowan, and her Grandmother (we can also add Sycamore if we go w the hc that they knew each other when they were younger), but hey she told Diantha abt it and it's just somft okay Dia gently running her thumb over the scars and Cynthia had never felt this vulnerable for years and she just let Diantha take care of her cause man she's also tired as fuck

•When the Sinnoh League found out abt Diantha and Cynthia they were overjoyed that their Champion actually managed to pull her nose outta her research to take care of herself and even found someone to love in the process

-of course, they also teased Cynthia abt it how she's so lucky to be w the big shot that is Diantha

-Gardenia wouldn't shut up about it and at first thought they were fake dating

•The Kalos League, on the other hand, was something else

-Diantha brought Cynthia to Kalos to introduce her to her Elite Four and man it was a trip

-Drasna welcomed Cynthia w open arms, says Diantha has great taste for dating someone who came from Sinnoh, even better since Cynthia was from Celestic Town! Drasna's old hometown

-And Diantha was happy that they're all getting along, except Malva really, of course, but hey

-Though the moment Diantha left to the kitchen to get some tea, Cynthia received the death glares of the other Elite Four members, Siebold especially

-Man was all "if you hurt her, I will kill you." And even Drasna's smile became a bit forced and went "he's right, if you break our Champion's heart, we'll be breaking every bone in your body, dear"

-and she said that still w that fuckin smile on her face and Cynthia could feel the room getting colder, as cold as Snowpoint really

-when Diantha came back, the other E4 members returned to their normal demeanor as if they hadn't threatened the Sinnoh Champion a few minutes ago hahah

•but hey it's all good y'know, Prof Rowan and even Cynthia's grandmother was so happy that she found someone to pull her out of her research

Jozu: owns a trading company with Haruta who’s more of the salesperson than anything he just does all the transportation and stuff, his pokemon are Tauros and Two Machamp

Thatch: owner of a small bakery company that got so popular he had to open several branches across the Grandline to meet the growing demand, he often swings through all of them to ensure they’re meeting his standards n stuff, his main shop is in Sphinx tho, bc he can’t leave Pops without fresh croissants!! His Pokémon are Fidough (ee new pokemon!) and Dartrix

Vista: fashion designer, usually has his brothers and sisters model the clothes he designs, well decorated in the field for providing unique and flattering bespoke fashion for all body types, his pokemon are Gardevoir, Gallade and Kirlia (yeah. Haha) he’s absolutely enamoured with Ace’s proportions though and Ace really does not want to be alone in a room with vista just because he won’t be able to say no to him asking for a moment of his time to model some things (last time he said yes he was occupied for a whole weekend LMAO sorry Ace, Vista got INSPIRED hard)

Blamenco: physics professor, specifically interested in the Ultra Beasts phenomenon and worme hole pocket dimesions, has published several papers on the subject and his prized Pokemon is indeed an ultra beast, the highly dangerous Guzzlord, as such he’s under strict monitoring to ensure he doesn’t let it go on a rampage, his other pokemon are: Granbull, Mr Mime and Goliscopod, he lovingly calls these three his Guzzlord insurance policy haha (because theyre all super effective type countersagainst Guzzlord)

Rakuyo: game show host and popular radio host of an opinion based channel that talks about news and reacts to it etc ( the reason Izo keeps getting invites to do tv appearances ZBDBD) his pokemon are Elekid and Braixen (theyre both game show pokemon mascots!)

Namur: handyman, jack of all trades he’s always on the move and can’t settle down, Marco’s a little worried about Namur because every time he calls/chats with him, Namurs gone and got fired or has a new job but it doesn’t seem to bother him because he says all of it is experience gained anyway, his pokemon: Whiscash, Quagsire and Wobbuffet

Blenheim: pokemon police force, originally was part of his home island’s military but then he left and instead drafted into law enforcement, his pokemon are Arcanine and Golbat

Curiel: pokemon ranger, he’s always wanted to be one since he was a kid, because he was rescued by one when he got separated from his parents (later confirmed deceased F curiel…) in a national park that had flash floods, his pokemon are Swampert, Pidgeot and Golem

Kingdew: prowrestler, famous just like Izo and often has to comment on Izo’s latest contest win and vice versa and Kingdew shrugs like you’re asking the wrong guy, Izo’s pretty but is he gorgeous like me? No, we are not the same (he means it in a joking way haha Izo indulges him like oh Kingdew? He’s too fabulous for little old me and all the press are like ???????? Huh???), his pokemon are Hariyama, Incineroar and Hawlucha

Haruta: co-owner of a trading company with Jozu, the sales and spokesperson, they mostly deal in mineral goods, his pokemon are Bisharp and Sir fetche’d

Atmos: currently unemployed, he stays with Pops to keep him company, but has recently found out he’s got quite the green thumb, and is apparently really good at trimming hedges into decorative art pieces, he’s looking to take gardening gigs soon, his pokemon are Bellossom, Sunflora and Shroomish

Speed Jiru: a bodyguard, currently employed by Izo who hired his brother due to two things: Jiru won’t judge him for his reasoning to hire a bodyguard and because Izo prefers if it was family anyway, his pokemon are Aggron, Ferrothorn, Drapion, Stuntank and Sharpedo, he’s one of the only WBP siblings to have as many Pokémon as Marco, he’s second in battling prowress to him and should Marco ever resign his elite four seat, the next in line would be Jiru unless he declines

Fossa: fisherman, it started as a hobby and now its a real thing for him, he’s good at rearing water pokemon and currently farms Chinchou, Magikarp, Goldeen and Clampearls, he has a Poppilo friend that visits (begs for scraps) his only Pokemon is a Volbeat

Izo: fashion blogger, popular pokemon coordinator, well known for his beauty tips and how to train your Pokémon to become top tier beauty contestants, often appears on game shows for local celebrities, his Pokémon are Oricorico (blue one) and Froslass (aesthetic matches his)
