This has already been said, but I can't stop thinking about Pumpkin Jack as a parallel to e!False backstory like

At the beggining he's just chilling, rooming with False, you know. As one does. False doesn't really tell anyone that he's around, but it's not like anybody asked.

And then he starts getting creepier. False starts being afraid of him. He's often on top of roofs or somewhere high.

Until False has enough. She locks him in a cell a room, and makes sure he can't escape. It's just temporal, she tells him.

Then, something happens. Pumpkin Jack gets Murdered. His cell is broken, the area is a mess, there's monsters everywhere.

But it's fine! Nothing to worry about! False can fix him. She gives him a new home, surrounded by plants, and doesn't he seem much happier than before?

And then he gets Buff! He's stronger than before, but I'm sure that won't be a problem, right? Better to leave it alone. Everything will be fine, for sure

I think its funny, whether e!False is moving Jack while asleep or if it's just a magic statue, that not only it ends up replicating her backstory themes, but that she ends up acting exactly like h!False, taking the same choices, etc.

(If you take a few liberties, of course, that I do not think are that big at all. If you see e!false getting her memories erased as some sort of temporary death, and e!false thinking of killing h!false as something easy, when h!false must have defeated her at some point to get her to forget and get into empires)

#australia adventure #i also watched the jurassic world movie for the first time AFTER going to the exhibit #it feels like it Could have been a good movie but the writing is so sexist and i spent too much time yelling EVACUATE THE GUESTS OH MY GOD #chris pratt sucks but they should've made him a horse girl for dinosaurs. that would've fixed it a bit #claire as a character is done so horribly dirty like. she's extremely competent and professional #but the entire narrative is like... portraying her as in the wrong for... being professional? for not being maternal enough?#what kind of moral is 'omggg u just need to let loose' in a movie where a SUPERMURDER DINOSAUR IS OUT OF ITS ENCLOSURE #SHE SHOULD'VE STUCK TO PROTOCOL AND EVACUATED THE PARK IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! AHHH #justice for claire jurassicworld 2024 #literally every character is telling her that whatever she's doing is wrong and bad #it's excruciating to watch. anyway #indominus rex just feels like wasted potential. like it's scary for a little but it just looks like a slightly wonky t rex #should've done the thing where you barely see it and it keeps outsmarting everyone in fun and clever ways #i also personally. think they should lean into the tragedy of creating the most perfect predator but it cannot exist on this earth #i feel like there should be a sorrow and grief in having to kill a magnificent beast #like titanic or something. idk. like as a dinosaur kid im like. i like Cool Creature. in my heart im siding with cool creature #it wants enrichment. give it a meat pumpkin #would've loved to watch a defunctland style video about the theme park

btw in case anybody's wondering what i've been working on as of late i've mostly been redesigning this guy for the 4th time because sometimes good ideas are bad

#he wears biker gear now 👍 the level of detail is murdering me in real life but it looks cool #atbb #karma #not art-tagging or main-tagging this bc its a wip #but i'll still leave rbs open for a bit bc i don't plan to post any finished redesigns until a good bit in the future #oh yea im gonna be redesigning like the entire atbb crew btw . i wanna Fix them all now that i have the skills of someone older than 14 #as shown here by karma no longer being a skinny rectangle with a head the size of a prized pumpkin #and the fact that i'm not nearly as scared of actually drawing wrinkles in clothes anymore lmao #i was planning to start drawing the new refs after i finished the whole ebony thing #but my brain decided to go on strike until i drew a different character and after 4 months i had to give in to demand 😔#i'll get back to that hopefully soon enough once i get back into the groove of drawing but for now i'm focused on Hellish Details #pro tip never design a character with biker gear it looks sick but you'll be in pain the entire time #especially if u try to make the collar accurate. dont ever ever make the collar of a leather jacket accurate just trust me on this one #anyway thats all for now i will disappear for another ten thousand years

Super sexy me is so sexy I accidentally set off the fire alarm while baking pie shells for my pumpkin pie. And now I don't know if I should've even baked them in the first place. But well. Too late now 👍
