Also this isn't really a fancast as much as an "if the show gets adapted into a netflix series id like to see them play them" kind of thing.

Okay people, I’m here to make a potentially controversial proposal for a (slightly, dare I say, niche) Levi Ackerman fan cast that I have had swirling around in my little silly brain for a loooong time now and it’s this guy:

Like I just think, specifically as this character, it’s pretty spot on.

I mean…

Yeah anyway would love to hear opinions, thoughts, criticisms, whatever.

(And just for the sake of transparency, this actor is not a great guy, he’s a bit of a whack job, but this show specifically is great it’s called ‘Babylon Berlin’, he’s one of the main characters and he’s called Gereon Rath. if ur interested in pre and during WW2 Germany it’s an amazing watch. But yeah, as I say, the actor is a shit.)

My Attack on Titan Live-Action Fancast:

It's been a long time since Attack on Titan ended (since November 2023, which is a pretty long time if you ask me).

So why not having a Live Action, right?

This is my idea who could be perfect as a cast for each figure:

Ryan Gosling as Eren Jaeger:

I mean guys look at them! They literally twins. Ryan Gosling would fit in Eren Jaeger. Trust me! He totally looks like someone who would set up a titan to kill his mother!

Conor McGregor as Armin Arlert:

Armin is one of the best martial arts fighter in the AoT-verse (and I want to see Armin with a beard).

Miranda Cosgrove as Mikasa Ackerman:

I know I know but hear me out: S2 E24 of iCarly. Strongest woman ever.

Lost! Who would you cast to play Erwin and Levi if Aot ever got turned into a live action film?? One of my coworkers said Finn Wolfhard for Levi and we've been arguing ever since and now my entire office and friend group are involved :/

I had to google Finn Wolfhard and when I realised who it was I was 😱  I mean he was great in Stranger Things, but as Levi?  That’s a huge nope from me. 

I’ve had loads of suggestions from fans over the years as to who could play Erwin and Levi, they’re all tagged on my blog under fancast and it’s quite fun to look back on them. 

I’ve always remained on the fence because I’ve never really seen anyone who embodies the spirit of Erwin and Levi.  However, I have to say that Takuro Ohno and Ryo Matsuda from the SnK musical come pretty damn close. I admit I was sceptical when the casting was announced, but when I saw the publicity stills of them in costume I couldn’t believe how good they looked.  Seeing interviews and clips from the musical convinced me even more.  I’m not generally a fan of musicals, but I would love to see this one.  I’m delighted that some of my friends have tickets for the NYC show, I’ll be dying to hear what they think of it.

I know ALLEGEDLY that king eren jaeger is 6'0 and i'm not going to lie I do imagine myself as y/n when I write sometimes (but also don't) and i'm 5'2 so I do think I might subtely mention that she's shorter than him by saying stuff like he looks down at her to make eye contact and stuff.

I mentioned somewhere that method acting sasha is POC (which is why she doesn't get as much attention, isn't viewed as pretty as counterparts, etc.)

which technically, y/n is written as poc too bc I am poc LOL but I tried to make that more subtle bc I know it might make it less self insert but whatever

DUDDEEE I really agree that I think a lot about future method acting/epilogue method acting (which is basiaclly just the last chapter btw) and I think so much about how really after it's all dead and done the only thing that would really haunt y/n is marco

like she gets to have her cake and eat it too (kind of. but more on that later.) and get her career and the guy but like....

he is dead. he is not coming back. it is her fault that she didn't talk to him for two years AND he reached out. so. correct. she would write so many songs about him.

i wouldn’t necessarily change anything major, but i wish we knew more about Bert's past, and the gap between the Rumbling and them becoming Ambassadors of Peace

i'd love to have a posting schedule, especially for wpts, and i'm trying to make that happen. but with how hectic life is right now, i haven't been able to keep that up.

🔮 Any advice for writers working through burnout or writer’s block?

i'd like to recieve some lmao

try stepping away from projects that give you headaches for a while. write something new, that you’re excited about, or find a prompt list, pick one at random and write on it for 15 minutes or so– i've found that quite helpful lately! but also don’t be afraid to completely step away from writing. sometimes life is just too much, there are many things that lead to burn out, it’s okay, it happens. step away, take a breath, take care of yourself and your well being– your stories amd your readers will still be there when you come back ♡

🚀 Do you like to outline your fic first or create as you go?

outline! i almost always outline my fics, it helps put stuff in perspective and makes it easier to write, having a direction and stuff.

all of them, in a way. it depends on my head soace at that moment

i do actually, i just never posted anything for any other fandom than aot lmao. but my favourite fanfic for that is probably Who painted the sky?

Who painted the sky?, and i want Maya Hawk as Hannah and Jenny Walser as Marie, i have no idea for the volunteers really. feel free too add your own fancast for them, i'd love hearing y'all's ideas!!

ambiguous! i love leaving room for immagibation, or sometimes a sequel 👀

🤩 What led to your interest in the fandom?

great question! my oldest friend told me about aot in 2017 so i watched it, and i was so mad over petra's death i stopped lmao. then 2019 came aroumd and i was just bored so i picked it up again, started reading the manga in 2020 and started writing for the fandom in the summer of the same year. it was the same friemd that pointed out Annie and Armin looked cute together, and that, topped by mimi's fanfics, lured me into this side of the fandom and made me want to actively be part of it.

💛 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?

it fluctuates. it comes and goes in waves. it's an extremely flexible thing. it's entirely impacted by your personal life, it reflects in your art in ways you might not notice.
