WAHHHHHH the fact that rhys is out here talking about getting strong from filming ofmd is making me CRAZY because like. he knows. he knows what happens in season 2. because he's doing it. imagine just walking around living your life being able to fucking quote a line from an episode of season 2. because you just said it into a microphone and there were cameras and you were dressed up as your funky little guy. he's literally out here lifting things and rowing and idk getting in sword fights and kissing taika or w/e the fuck and he just knows about it! but can't tell us!!! he just gets to know! because he's the one doing it! imagine!!! imagine doing a scene and then going home and getting in bed like. they're gonna go fucking crazy for that one I know it. they're gonna love that. can you handle the fact that season 2 is actually happening!?!??!?! like rhys just gets to be there!!! he's THE GUY! he's the ofmd man. he's there for like. most of it. he just gets to flounce around and be silly with the rest of the crew and hold his cool sword and put on his fun pirate costumes and make it happen in real time. and just live with that. while we're here hanging on his every word and muscle flex. he gets to say his magic words into the video box and know that that's what's happening in the story and live with the fact that in a handful of months we're gonna see it and go feral over it. WHAT THE FUCK.

Have you seen 'I Saw The TV Glow'? I have a couple of questions!

Next month it has 2 screenings in my country, and that'll be the only theatrical release it gets. I have a friend who is keen to see it with me on the 2nd screening date but I'm wondering if it's a film I should see twice in the cinema? Is it a film I should maybe see one of the screenings by myself? Or both times with friends?

I've been desperately waiting to see it since it was announced. I know it'll most likely destroy me and definitely rewire my brain.

I'd really appreciate replies and/or messages! And would also love to talk about it with people especially after seeing it! I just kindly ask for no spoilers as I've been working hard to avoid them! Thank youuuu 🫶

ok hi good mornig I AM GOING SO INSANE ABOUT THOR LOVE AND THUNDER. I watched it last night (hence the immense amount of spam on my Loki sideblog lmao) AND IWAS NOR READY FOR HOW OBJECTIVELY BAD IT WAS. I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING BAD IVE EVER SAID ABOUT THE LOKI TV SHOW IT IS FINE ART COMPARED TO THIS. it took me FIVE HOURS to get through that movie because i had to keep pausing it to yell to a friend over discord about how godawful it was. anyways aside from the bad everything here are the highlights of the movie <3

anyways they completely accidentally made an amazing movie under the condition you watch it thinking that Thor is aromantic& asexual and hasn't fully realized it yet because literally everyone is trying to get him to date someone and then you can actually see how much the ideas of romantic and sexual relationships make him uncomfprtable but hes still forcing himself into one LIKE ITS SO OBVIOUS ACTUALLY??? I've recently come to the realisation that one of the worst parts of having an Australian TV actor celebrity crush is how small the film/tv industry actually is in auz/nz. This was prompted by discovering that a friend of my gf was a named character in Wentworth, and now I'm never going to be able to meet her industry friends without being hyperaware of the potential interconnections. It's all very well for people to have these loud obsessions with Hollywood celebrities, but to be all excited over someone who lives just across the ditch and has probably worked with someone I'm one degree of seperation from? Embarrassing.

So I guess I'm just gonna have to somehow make it out like I just have a preferctly normal level of appreciation for Pamela Rabe moving forward
