Sso in my scifi au, Vylad is going to be half alien and essentially an information broker. He is the one who originally found Aphmaus restoration pod. (Given how she is a clone formed from he DNA of a mysterious alien). Garte was going to use her to essentially try and not only solve THE RED (Shadow Knight zombie parasite) and takeover the galaxy, as power hungry men do.

Here is Vylads major plot points in my scifi au

- He is the product of an affair between his mother and an unknown alien species. While Vylad can be human passing, it was still obvious that he was an affair child. Garte covered up the alien features because Zianna having an affair with a human is a lot better than her having an affair with an alien.

- Zianna did willingly get pregnant because she wanted a baby, her own child that wasn't going to be twisted by Garte. Garroth was already 9 and at "private military school" (human experimentation) and Zane was always following his father because his health prevented him from going to school. (His body rejected experimentation so Garte decided to make him an heir)

- Vylad lived happily under their mothers care for many many years. Given how Zianna refused to tell Garte what type of alien Vylad was, he couldn't experiment and since his wife was happy he left Vylad alone. Until it did get out that Vylad was part alien and he had to "deal with the problem"

- Zianna, seeing the assanation attempt coming a mile away decided to use it to her advantage and made it so Vylad wouldn't die but get sent away. So she staged her own much earlier accident where Vylad ship would be lost on transit and crashed on a planet resulting in the death of her baby. The plan worked, until it didn't.

- The shuttle she sent to receive Vylad's captain worked on a planet that had recently been in a planet infested with THE RED, and it had spread throughout the crew. When Vylad was picked up, they were also infected and before you knew it, a bloodbath had begun.

- The majority of the crew turned on each other with the exception of Vylad and a cabin boy, Zenix. The two were the only ones who had a resistance the full affects of the red and eventually had to team up and slaughter the rest of the cabin.

- The ship did get to its destination and Vylad and Zenix quickly went their separate ways, not wanting a reminder of what they went through. That is when Vylad became employed by his mothers old friend, a cybernetics expert Hyria who used Vylads ability to blend into the background to gain information. Then he quickly became an information broker with the goal of taking down Garte with the help of Hyria.

- He soon gained word about Zane hiring the S.S. Phoenix Drop to transport a weapon of mass destruction and decided to turn the tides. He intercepted the message and arrived at the warehouse keeping the weapon to discover it was Aphmau. So he decided to mess with fate and killed the previous captain of the Phoenix Drop (who had been feeding information about Garroth to Zane) and made it seem like Aphmau was supposed to join the crew.

- He hires Zenix when they meet up again to be a 3 way spy. Hired him to spy on Zane and Garroth while also feeding Zane false information. Betraying Zane and Garroth but also not betraying Garroth.

I'm posting the first chapter of an old uncompleted fic here in hopes that I'll actually finish it.

It is Aarmau, rewritten of course. If you don't like that, then don't look at the rest of my blog.

Chapter 1: April Fools Day

Aphmau lay peacefully in her bed, sleeping away the troubles of adulthood like a newborn baby. Her raven hair spilling out onto the plain bedsheets and her caramel eyes shut tightly in the throes of unconsciousness.

The moment of peace was interrupted by the blaring of her alarm, snapping her awake in a slight panic before she sighed and hit the alarm with frustrated force.

The sun was high, warm, and feeding the slight humidity of early spring. Once again Aphmau had woken up after noon, the night wasted by her shift at the diner.

She yawned loudly, and tried carefully to avoid disturbing Celestia, her Pomskey, who was currently still fast asleep, legs twitching in the realm of dreams.

She picked out her outfit for that day, galaxy-print hoodie and black, ripped jeans, and began to get ready for the rest of the day, and whatever shenanigans her freinds would inevitably cause this evening.

Her roommates, Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan had already been at work for several hours, and wouldn't be back until later that night. Leaving the house to her to enjoy in peaceful silence that almost didn't suit the house.

By the time Aphmau had come back, Celeste was waiting for her, barking happily at the girl and wagging her tail so fast it began to duplicate. Celestia had a leash in her mouth, and the next bark sounded like it ended with a question.

"I'm sorry Celestia, Aaron's not home right now, he's at work." The puppy whined and jumped up onto her humans knee to plead with her, but unfortunately the young woman stood strong.

"You pleading doesn't do anything, I can't will him to come back." The dog simply barked at her, turned around, and proceeded to pout with a pathetic whine.

She rolled her eyes and clicked the leash on Celestia's collar.

Despite the dissapointment Celestia was as happy as ever on thier normal walk through Emerald Vale, passing by each house in the suburban neighborhood, it was quickly getting filled in with her freinds. Brendan, Katelyn, Travis, Zane, Lucinda, Nicole, Kawaii~Chan, Aaron, and of course the trio of Laurance, Garroth and Dante.

It was when she was coming back from her walk when it happened. Zane was waiting for her, looking giddy with a mischievous smile dancing on his face, Aphmau knew then that he had done something.

"Hey, Aphmau." He greeted, his mask was doing nothing to hide the shit-eating grin on his face.

"What did you do?" She wasted no time, whatever he had done was probably going to backfire spectacularly like everything tended to for him.

"Oh, nothing." He lied, his sick smile twisting up further, Aphmau was surprised it didn't physically hurt him.

Then they were off in a dead sprint towards the side of the trio's house, hiding in a bush like creepy stalkers.

"Zane!" She whispered, her brow furrowed in slight irritation, but her small smirk ruined her angry expression.

"I haven't done anything yet. Watch." He whispered back, mischif dancing in his sapphire eyes, and his smirk reaching almost to where his tarmac colored hair started

There, through the window, was Laurance and Garroth, Laurance with his pulled back brown hair and green striped shirt with pants that didn't fit right. And Garroth with his curly blonde hair half-assedly combed and his blue flannel draped over a white tee.

They looked like they were arguing.

"You can't just throw it in the oven Garroth! It'll be so dry you won't eat it!" Laurence's muffled high pitched voice came through the window, Aphmau was unsure how long they'd been arguing.

"Well how was I supposed to know? " Garroth's signature gravelly tone was next, similarly muffled although slightly clearer due to his naturally higher volume.

"Ask? Or I don't know, read the damn instructions! I know you can read Garroth! The instructions are printed on the plastic!" Laurance got a little louder but Garroth fell silent.

"There was plastic?"

At the same moment Laurance began lunge forward to smack Garroth upside the head, Zane pulled lightly on a string in his hand.

Several things happened at once, Laurance tripped over the string now tight over the floor and Garroth went forward to try and catch his falling friend, then a bucket full of glittery ice water tipped from the stairs and drenched them both with it's contents.

They both blinked, Laurance looking up at Garroth and him looking down, they were too close to be comfortable dripping wet and bewildered. In unison, they screamed in embarrassment, scrambling to get away from each other, only managing to tangle themselves up more.

As it happened, Aphmau went from snickering at them to howling with laughter, leaning on Zane for support, he was cackling, and barely being able to breathe when both boys spotted them in the window.

The laughter quickly silenced. And any anger towards each other or embarrassment was quickly forgotten in favor of chasing Zane and Aphmau down the street.

Even while running Aphmau couldn't help but think about how much she loved April Fools day.

She managed to escape the boy's wrath by telling them the truth, that Zane had set up the trap and she had been dragged to watch. Unfortunately for Zane, he never could outrun his older brother.

Some time later after the day was finished and the crisis had been averted, Aphmau found herself raiding the pantry for something quick to eat, thankfully, she didn't have work that night, so she didn't have to eat out as she normally did.

The raid was interrupted by the jarring sound of her phone, ringing in the tune of "Faster Car". She answered it without looking and with slight irritation.

"I'm assuming you just got home Aaron?" The voice on the other side let out a breathy, tired chuckle.

"Yeah, I did. And I'm assuming you forgot movie night?" Aphmau nearly dropped the cookie she had just  scavenged from the pantry, gasping in surprise.

"I'm so sorry! I totally forgot!"

Aaron only laughed in response. "I figured, usually you're waiting for me, are you still coming?"

Aphmau was already tying her shoes and slinging her purse over her shoulder by the time he had finished speaking.

"Give me five minutes."

She quickly hung up and walked down the road to his house, it wasn't that far, about three houses down. It was weird now, them living so close to each other after so many years of separation. Maybe that's why they spent every Friday night watching terrible movies together. To make up for lost time.

She made it to his house in four minutes and tapped on the door, Celestia was excitedly spinning beside her, Aphmau wasn't going to leave her home alone until her roommates got home.

The man who opened the door was 6 feet tall, had a mess of volcanic hair and was wearing a hoodie draped over his bare chest. He matched her with a choice of ripped jeans.

"Did you bring Celestia just so I wouldn't chew you out for forgetting?" He smirked, his eyes were covered with his red bandana, but Aphmau could swear she could see the trouble written in them anyway.

"No, Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan are working late. I couldn't leave her at home!" At that moment, the pup lept up at Aaron's knees, wagging her tail and barking with excitement.

"Awww, did you miss me girl?" Aaron picked up the excitable pooch and she replied by licking every inch of his face that she could.

"She sees you every other day." Aphmau pouted, witch only caused the boy to laugh louder.

"Are you jealous of me?" He asked, his smirk never leaving his face as he put the dog back on the ground.

"No!" Her slightly red face gave it away. "Shut up! Let's just watch the movie!" Aaron moved out of the way to let her through into his house, it was tan brick just like all the other houses on the street, but the squishy red couch and kitchen covered in pizza caught her attention.

"Yes, I got one with jalapeños, no, you do not owe me money for it." Aaron said quickly, before Aphmau had a chance to process.

"You are awesome, have I ever told you that?" Aphmau sat her stuff down next to the door and immediately got her fair share of pizza before Aaron even had a chance to respond.

"You could say it more often." He replied before joining her on the couch, two liters of soda on the table and the movie paused at the beginning.

Garroth Ro’mave is the sun as Laurance Zvahl is the moon.

Both of which orbit their Gaea, their lady Aphmau.

The sun is 4,500,000,000 years old but that time is nothing to the man who burns for her, regardless of where or when she is in the universe. Although the Sun's rays can be felt, it stands 150.4 billion meters away from her. Exploding within himself, knowing that if it was closer, everything she holds in her heart and soul would die, alongside her but she proves time and time again to strive for the wellbeing of others over herself, all because of her magnitude.

Yet she strives in his rays. Cherishes his heat, even if it is just a fragment of the real thing. They are so far away and yet he remains by her side in every sense of the word, unwavering. Fueled by his pride for her as a home for others, including himself. After all, she traps pieces of him in her atmosphere. Filtering them so the populous can cherish only the good. What else can you call that other than love?

Yet he can't help but envy the Moon. Tethered to her not out of initial obligation, but rather by chance and choice. Free from the formalities that come from such a position, choosing to serve her rather than have her come into the rotation just as the one before her. Of course, he does not think of her as a burden- rather a breath of fresh air. A respot of life where he can truly aid rather than harm! But that Moon-

Constantly circling her, free of the obligations of protecting her from himself. Rather open to protect her from stray asteroids, the brunt of the sun's rays, careful enough to sway her away from the hurt of the universe and remind her of when it's time to rest rather than oblige to others whenever she can. And she can, she always seems to be harboring someone in her heart or mind.

However, the Sun has no idea that the Moon in turn is envious. Not of the object of his orbit, but rather of the Sun.

The Sun provides aid to his lady, offering her a means of guidance and joy whenever she sees him. She rests, yes, but not in the moon's promise of protection. But rather the promise of productivity in the morning. He aids in her tides and organizes others, but it is him- burning brightly just out of view, that serves her in more ways than the Moon ever could and ever will.

Regardless of the gravity of dear Gaea and Orano's situation, the Sun and the Moon will always find respite in each other. And yet The Earth can only see so much.

Her gaze is sometimes cloudy, other times the storms of her people or internal turmoil keep her occupied. Yet on days as clear as crystal, she can see them. Their turmoil, their desire, their envy, and beyond them the stars. Yet she only chooses to see so much. Not out of disdain or disinterest for any of what the universe has to offer her. Instead, she knows that they have time. Time for her to mourn that stray asteroid. Time for her to recover from the rising oceans and warring storms. Time to mourn those who dwell on her surface and call her home in all senses of the word.

Yes, they have time.

All the time in the galaxy.

Twi’s Headcanons: The Aphmau Multiverse

So, two days ago I had a sudden idea to make the photo below, explaining all of my HCs of how the universe/dimensions/multiverse worked. I then spent an obscene amount of time in the middle of the night and the next day making it, and I decided it’d be cool to share it here instead of just discord (for once. I really love hc posts but I never get around to them usually unless prompted) (this post is 1666 words long oh boy)

Under the cut is a transcription of all the text in case it’s hard to read, along with my HCs concerning the Divine Dimensions specifically, as well as an explanation of the “inter-universal breach” in the bottom-left with VOID: Paradox’s universe. I think everything below explains enough, but feel free to ask if there’s anything else you’d like to know!

A Guide to the Aphmau Multiverse (As Headcanoned by Twilight)

Basic Info:

The Multiverse Itself: Every large purple circle is a universe. A singular universe may have many different dimensions inside of it, some being unique, but all of them have the fundamentals of life: a form of Material Universe, an Astral Weave/Garden, Gateway/Door of Judgment, and Aether/Afterlife.

The Universal Barrier//The Void: The Barrier is an infinite abyss of nothingness that separates each universe. If the Barrier is broken in any way (an object or being traveling between universes), the best way to describe its reaction would be like that of an immune system overreacting to some viruses; it begins attacking itself in the goal of destroying the threat. In such an event, The Void; an unstoppable parasitic force of nature, is released into all universes involved in the breach, essentially killing/destroying the entire universe and then resetting it completely.

The Dimensions within the the MCD/MS Universe:

Mortal Plane//Known Galaxy//Material Universe (including Earth): The world of Diaries, PDH/PDD, and Mystreet.

The Nether//Shad The Destroyer’s Dimension: the equivalent of Hell in Divine mythology, though Judgment does not actually send anyone there of their own accord. [Reached from the Mortal Plane via unstable ritual magic; Connected to the Astral Garden via Shad’s interference in the natural cycle of life/death.]

Astral Weave: Where the threads of reality weave together to create souls in preparation for the birth of a new being. [Unreachable to living or dead beings]

Astral Garden: Purgatory/where souls go after death and before Judgment. [Unreachable to living beings; Connected to the Nether via Shad’s interference in the natural cycle of life/death.]

Door of Judgment: The gateway into the Afterlife [Unreachable to living beings]

The Aether//Afterlife: The equivalent of Heaven in Divine mythology. [Unreachable to living beings]

Yggdrasil: An Alternate Dimension home to the humanoid race known as Elves. The majority prefer to keep their existence mostly unknown to Humans, but they have established a permanent link between dimensions in the Arctic Mountains of Earth. [Reachable via portal created by Elven sorcery in the Arctic area of Earth]

Wyvern Realm: An alternate Dimension home to the intelligent draconic race known as Wyverns. [Reached from the Mortal Plane via unstable ritual magic]

Twi’s Headcanons II: The Region of Ru’aun

After making that last post about the multiverse, it only seemed right that I also do one exploring my own map of Ru’aun, its history, and its politics. It’s also definitely needed in order to understand the other non-canon places in my rewrite, so without further ado:

(NOTE: The in-universe calendar used in various places here counts upwards from the birth of Irene. In my version season 1 takes place 482 years after the divine, and season 3 is 500 years later, not 900. AI stands for “After Irene” and BI means “Before Irene”. Comparable to BC & AD)
