Dreams (or nightmares) they’ve had that they can’t stop thinking about:

Giorno: had a dream that he was a rich kids pet dog, and he was running around having a good time. Then some guy, who kind of looked like him, jumped out of a carriage and kicked him

Bruno: had a dream that he worked a normal office job, but all of his co workers were bees

Abbacchio: Had a dream that he lived alone in the middle of the woods, and he couldn’t leave his house because it was surrounded by poisonous snakes and boa constrictors. He woke up when one of the snakes got into his house

Mista: had a dream that a dehumidifier was trying to hug him and was chasing him around the basement. This dream made him afraid to go into the basement for like six months

Narancia: had a dream that he was stuck in a building because of a tornado. But the tornado could talk and had one request, which was that Narancia found his long lost lover, a radish named Phoebe, and that he bring her to him. So the tornado gave him gas money so he could go find his radish lover, but the tornado made it super hard for Narancia to drive his car because the tornado was being super troublesome. Eventually Narancia found Phoebe the radish and reunited the two odd lovers and was free from the wind

Fugo: had a dream that he was at the grocery store. But every time he tried to pick up an item it would turn into a wet piece of cardboard

Trish: had a dream that she met her dad, and he tried to kill her with a nerf gun (pre-her actually meeting her dad)

Dabi is sooo stray cat coded to me. you find him hurt and bleeding near your house one day, and maybe you only clean his wounds and feed him whatever you had in the fridge, and he just keeps coming back. keeps finding a reason to return to you—he left his phone charger—he never returned your Tupperware—he needs the recipe for that one dish you made that one time even though he knows it’s just a gateway for you to cook it for him again.

and after a while, you just start inviting him in with no hesitation or need of an excuse. he’s such a stray cat kinda dude, just slinks in whenever he feels like it. knocks things over because he finds your reactions funny. steals your food and your warmth and your side of the bed.

after a while, you two fall into a routine with each other. he comes over and messes with you until he gets bored and leaves again, only to pop up in fewer intervals every time. but, as time goes on, in those moments, he just likes to watch you. keep his hands to himself—sometimes—and admires your daily routine. thinks to himself that this is what normalcy is like, asks himself why does he crave it with you so badly?

Dabi watches you from the corner of your bed as you sit in front of your mirror to dab on your makeup. he’s learned what the hell primer and bronzer is and the quickest way to do eyeliner, and it fascinates him more than it should. he watches you prance out of the bathroom after a shower in just your underwear and a towel on your head. how you lather your skin in these fancy oils and body butters, but finds himself asking if they’re safe on still healing burned skin.

he watches you cook him dinner and clean the living room and enjoy your shitty music and tv shows and cry over your dumb romance books and he just. he just can’t believe he’s fallen into this domesticity with you, this normalcy, as he finds himself not watching anymore but doing—with you, beside you. and he finds that he likes it. just a little.

Do you guys ever think about Kevin Day. About the number on his cheek. About the horrors he survived to keep it there. The physical and psychological torture that he endured just so he could have the shiny number 2 tattooed on his cheekbone. How brave he was to go through all that.

How brave he must have been to let it go.

To say: I’m giving up my number, the one I’ve dehumanized and killed myself over. I’m giving it up, but my suffering for it wasn’t in vain.

To realize that he didn’t deserve the number 2, not because he was no longer second best without the Ravens, but because he had always been better than all of them.

He was the deadliest piece on the board.

Sorry I keep thinking about the dsmp citizens thing and for the longest time, it never made sense to me. What do you mean, “reporters” “factions” “citizen of pogtopia” I thought the point was the countries meant nothing.

After L’Manberg, they were only made to assert dominance, gain control, or some semblance of title, the significance of the countries is what it meant to the twenty-ish people playing. No one ever existed in El Rapids other than the seven people who owned it. The prison was empty. It was empty other than Dream.

There’s no citizen of the Dream SMP, there’s only the people trying to keep it alive. Or killing themselves inside it.

Ok so I had another dream about joker out and I wanted to share it, this won’t be a regular thing I just thought it was a cool dream

So kris and Bojan had a another Damon photoshoot together and like kris had really cool wings on and like a white button up shirt that was like only done up halfway and trousers that were like really fucking tight in the ass but like looser at the bottom that were also white and the pictures of him with the wings on on he was alone and there were some with out them alone too, like in a tree for some reason and just crouching in a field

then Bojan had some pictures alone where he was in the same thing but all black and no wings but he had like a crown and some of the pictures he was lying down in grass like some of the other Damon ones

^like these ones just the fact he’s lying down is the similarity

and others he was like leaning on brick walls outside looking hot as fuck and kind of like the guys at the start of west side story 

Then in the ones together they both had crowns on and in the same black and white clothes and they had some lying in the grass together and in one of them kris had Bojan against the wall but he was kind of beside him rather than like it looking like they were about to kiss or something 

 and kris posted them and THE FUCKING CAPTION said something about like “my love” or “love of my life” or something equally as gay and then tumblr just exploded, everyone lost their collective shit

Wrote this tiny scene in my bloodweave Cazador wins au where Astarion starts appearing in Gale’s dreams while trapped in Cania trying to convince him he’s real and that he needs help. Gale of course can always tell when he’s dreaming and doesn’t believe him, thinking he’s just another part of the dream/nightmare.

Love the idea and the angst opportunity but I can’t make it work in the fic. Maybe in a different fic it could work. That might actually be a good idea

last night i had a dream where i posted something along the lines of “why is everyone still arguing over fintan’s hair length you guys clearly don’t remember the graphic novel” and then a bunch of pictures of graphic novel fintan attached (it wasn’t even book 2 he was just There for some reason idk) 😭 he is not real but pls…. i miss him……. shannon can we get a graphic novel version of book 2 and can i do the art this time pls

just finished the rwrb movie and although i really enjoyed it (and was kicking my feet giggling the whole time) i do have a couple of major criticisms, some of which i think aren’t really the movie’s fault because they had to fit a whole book into 2 hours, but some of which left me kind of disappointed:

-i feel slightly icky that bea and nora got their screentime SIGNIFICANTLY reduced even after june got cut entirely (which i was upset about, but did understand). i loved zahra and adored her on screen but i do think it’s very odd that she is pretty much the only major female character in this movie since bea was nonexistent and nora got permanently spirited away to pez’s bed or something sometime during the second act

-it felt like a lot of the internal conflict in alex and henry’s relationship was very unbalanced and henry heavy - alex’s neurodivergence was erased, his bi epiphany was barely even an epiphany, and him not being explicitly kicked off the campaign after ellen finds out about him and henry essentially killed his whole subplot about realising he doesn’t need to have everything achieved at thirty and deciding he wants to apply to law school instead. which wouldn’t have been terrible but on the flipside it felt weird that we didn’t see very much of henry’s family considering how much they affect and shape his fear of being outed and his feeling of being in a glass cage - e.g bea’s treatment by the media during her active addiction (which was entirely erased), the extent of the tension between him and philip. felt like henry’s pov scenes were a super wasted opportunity for that and we were mostly just being Told about all of these things

-i am not actually that mad about oscar and ellen still being together lol but i felt like in the scene with oscar smoking the cigar on the balcony they were kinda building up to there being significant strain in his and ellen’s relationship that just wasn’t explored. especially since it’s clear oscar would never be able to be president because he’s not a natural born citizen + the sacrifice of his career for ellen’s is so much bigger now that he’s first gentleman in this version

-pacing in general was a bit off but the worst offender was the fact that there was a complete time skip between the alex henry confrontation/reconciliation and the outing. so much of the tension and desperation from that outing scene comes from the fact that the risk of it happening was slowly increasing throughout the book and it felt almost inevitable (the elevator cctv being leaked, henry having to fake date june) and honestly making it so abrupt weirdly reduced a lot of its impact for me

-similarly i actually completely understand why the richards plot / rafael luna plot was cut (i suspect republican election interference hits a bit too close to home after 2020) but my god was miguel a lame fucking villain and him being queer and hispanic erased a lot of the original commentary about racism and homophobia that the richards plot lent itself to. like in general this movie was a lot lighter than the book which is fine! but for a movie where the main subplot is a presidential election So Much of the political themes were heavily neutered or cut to the point that it seemed like the pressure on henry and alex’s relationship was disproportionately coming from henry’s side when in the book it was more balanced

again on the whole i really really loved this movie and i knew going in that certain changed were going to be made. and i hope more movies get made like it! these r just my Thots and i may change my mind when i rewatch it with my friend tomorrow
