My blog keeps getting invaded by bots and checking if every blank blog is a human is waaay too time consuming, there are just too many so reminder that if you follow me and your blog looks like this:

I may block you!!! Bots can reblog and like posts, so please put a profile picture or a header, or add a description so that I know you're not a bot! I've seen people just write "I'm not a bot! Don't block me!" and just that was confirmation enough!

I mean this in the absolute nicest way possible, but if you follow me with a default icon, no bio, no posts, and no visible likes, you will more likely than not end up blocked/reported.

If you're a real person, please at the very least change your bio or make a post reading "I'm a real person."

Dear new followers,

Change your avatar, put anything in your title! Did you know that when lurking here, you can just hit the reblog (two arrows) button to keep a copy of the post/art on your blog and turn your blog in a scrapbook of stuff you liked? It works a lot better than just liking a post and makes people who post stuff happy! (you can also search your blog to see those posts again later that way!)

And if you made a side blog to be active on instead, know that your main blog is the visible one in follow and like notifications, so make sure to check that too!

Hello Everyone, I am doing a follower clean up over the weekend cause i’ve been noticing a lot of bot followers. So if this is someone with no posts at all then I will remove and block. If you’re username is somehow bjyx related then i will most likely consider. I understand some people are here to lurk and that’s fine, so feel free to comment or DM if you think your account looks like a bot ( no photo and posts is a red flag ) but you’re not and you wanna stay. Thank you!!!! ^^

Unfortunately Russia absolutely does use bots and crap to try to destabilize american society (to limited success imo) just like how the CIA runs influence ops on their enemy states. most countries in the world are actively all spying on each other doing this kind of stuff on the down low.

However I do believe that staff found this convenient situation where they discovered a few bots, maybe even as few as one, and used this (I think intentionally, but I'm also willing to believe staff may just be that fucking stupid and inept) as an excuse to also quietly remove real black bloggers from the site who they didn't like.

Idk I'm concerned about the implication that these kinds of cyber ops don't exist because they are out there on many popular websites and it's not paranoia or 21st century McCarthyism to say that. I think the real story of what staff was up to in March 2018 is more complex and I think both staff's racism and bot presence can easily both be true at once. I think it was an excuse with a grain of truth inside that they exploited.

Reporting and blocking the daily deluge of porn bots like I’m a highly sought after match gently turning away suitors. Weird ego boost of the day.

JackieMichaels69’s hands are rough against my own as I pull away, pretending not to see how her fingers flex as she suppresses her need to reach for me again. Sarahjjjohnson42 corners me in the hall, away from prying eyes so none might spy how her own are wet. I tell her again that I cannot be what she needs, though she is passionate in her attempts to have me reconsider. KiraBernard83 is flushed from rage and embarrassment, her heels clicking viciously across the hardwood as she accuses me of purposefully misleading her. I allow her this moment, as I know she needs the anger to carry her from the room. LiliannaRivera36 is bold, her attire more a wish than a reality, as she twists me in close and murmurs her desires into my ear. She pats my cheek before I can respond, and reminds me that I am welcome to call upon her whenever I so choose. The cocky smirk of her reddened mouth slips into a flat line when I step back. You’ll cave eventually, she says on a sigh.

But I will not.

I cannot satiate any of the longing I’ve encountered on this strange night. They are lovely, but they are all of them outmatched in ways they shall never understand; for my heart, my hand and my soul are indeed already claimed.

reminder to newcomers that if your blog has no posts, no profile picture, no header, and your blog colors aren't changed, i and most other people will take that as you being a bot and will block and report you as spam if you follow us. go to your profile and click the little paint pallette and give your blog a makeover real quick or if that's too much just change your blog title to something like "not a bot". i really recommend the makeover though because that's much more fun even if you don't want to reblog and you're just here to lurk.
