“Read ‘em and weep,” Marcy smacked her winning cards on the food tray for you to see. “Go fish!”

“Again?” you scrunched your nose as you gathered the cards on the tray and placed them onto the deck. “You sure you aren’t cheating?”

Marcy flashed her pearly whites at you through steady breaths. She was certainly enjoying the win, “Years of practice.”

She looked better today, less pasty, just as pale, but better. It was comforting to see her smile.

“One more game?” She asked with keen interest. You could tell she hoped you’d say yes.

“I already broke the rules smuggling this contraband for you,” you shook the cards then sighed, disappointed in the fact you had to let her down, “Besides, you have to rest, little missy.” You put the deck of cards in its box and then sealed it inside a ziplock bag.

“Rest is boring,” she huffed. “It’s all I do anyway.”

After stashing the cards in your lab coat, you tucked the blanket around her, “Well you need to keep up your strength for the transplant.”

An announcement sounded off from the PA speakers outside the room: “Mike Weschler to Observation Three. Mike Weschler to Observation Three.”

As if summoned by the devil, Mike knocked on the door to Marcy’s room. He nudged his head for you to go out, undoubtedly in too much of a rush to go through decontamination.

You held up a finger and mouthed: “One minute.”

Mike tapped his wrist like his watch was on.

You turned your attention back to Marcy, “I’ve gotta get back out there, but if you need anything...”

Marcy breathed shallow, turning on her side to stare at the wall, “I know.”

Quietly, you walked away, feeling there was nothing more you could say. You tapped the sanitiser dispenser and worked the clear gel all over your hands once you left the sealed room.

Mike shoved his hands in his white coat, “You got a sec?”

“Hey to you too,” you folded your arms. “What is it?”

“Kids,” Mike’s eyes went large as if he’d seen a ghost, a comical shudder followed suit.

You rolled your eyes, “Lead the way.”

The hospital was calmer the day after the tornado struck. Still buzzing with adrenaline-fuelled fellows and tired residents, only now there were more white coats around. More senior staff relieved the stressful work load. Their presence had helped ease the minds of the younger staff members, allowing them more moments to sneak up to the roof for a smoke or time to themselves.

Even though the rooms were as full as the day the tornado struck, the brunt of the more serious cases were moved to the hospital in the town over.

Mike’s hair was dishevelled, a sign of poor sleep.

“Here we are,” he opened the door to Observation Three and waited for you to enter first before grabbing a clipboard.

There was a family of four all huddled together. Of the two children, the oldest –a teenager by the looks of it– was hunching over the edge of the examination bed. The mother was busying herself by wiping down every surface with disinfectant wipes. The father was less on edge.

“Hello, I’m Dr Mike Weschler, this here is my colleague,” Mike droned with no emotion in his voice. He flipped through the clipboard quickly before clearing his throat, not bothering to look up. “Persistent headache,” he mumbled to himself. Then he grabbed his pen and started filling in the form, “Any other symptoms?”

The father leaned closer, as if his voice would take less time to reach Mike if he closed in their distance. “He’s had a fever, and yesterday he threw up twice.”

“Did you try Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for the fever?” Mike said.

The mother eyed him coldly, “We gave him cold medicine, didn’t work. That’s why we’re here.”

Mike scratched his nose, picking up on the mother’s condescending tone. The nib of his pen pressing into the paper harder. The scratching noise of his writing more pronounced.

“What’s our patient’s name?” You interjected as you looked over the teenager’s features and instantly noticed the redness around his eyes, pale skin and shiny forehead. Though that last observation could simply be a dermatological issue like oily skin.

The teenager stayed silent, waiting for one of his parent’s to answer.

“His name’s Noah,” the mother said, a seriousness to her demeanour. From her attire, you assumed she’d be an academic or a teacher.

“Hello, Noah. I’m Dr Y/N. Do you mind if I take a look?”

He shook his head.

An introvert, you thought. You could relate.

You felt under his jaw for any swelling. Then you tilted his head side to side. He winced.

“Stiff?” You asked.

“Mmm-hmm,” He answered.

“Anyone you know exhibiting similar symptoms –maybe from school or around–?” Mike asked the room.

“Not that we know of,” the mother replied.

Mike inhaled, “Go anywhere outside your usual routine?”

The mother spoke more sharply, “No.”

You fished out your otoscope and looked into his ears. You sighed in thought. “We’re going to have to run bloodwork, check for cultures.”

The father stammered, “Y-you don’t think it’s…meningitis do you?”

Mike answered matter-of-factly, “Fever, headache and neck stiffness. It is a possibility.”

You put on your soft, calming voice, “But, it could also be a common cold. We’ll know more once the tests come back.”

The mother shuffled on her feet, nose high in the air, “And how long do we have to wait?” She wasn’t comfortable in the hospital.

Mike held the clipboard behind his back and plastered on a straight-lined smile, “I’ll get right on it.”

“Excuse us,” you dragged Mike out of the room by his lanyard, discretely. When you were both out of earshot you gave him a tongue lashing. “Show a bit more empathy, Mike. Those parents are probably worried sick.”

“It’s always the parents,” Mike scoffed. “Ironically, when I told my dad I was going into medicine, he suggested paediatrics,” He worked his jaw till it turned red.

Suddenly, Stephen appeared from behind a corner, hands in his pockets, seemingly with nothing to do. He picked up his pace when he saw you.

The clipboard was snatched out of Mike’s hands. Stephen read over the notes and asked: “Have you ordered a blood workup?”

Mike sighed, “It’s on my to-do list.”

“Must be a long list,” Stephen condescended.

“Longer than yours, by the looks of it,” Mike send behind clenched teeth.

Stephen rose a brow and tilted his head to the side. He handed the clipboard back.

The air between then was as prickly as the first time they’d met. Mike was trying his hardest to keep things civil between them. Stephen liked pushing that particular envelope. You imagined it gave him something to occupy his time. Being referee was going to grow old very quick. You could feel it.

Thankfully, Arlene jogged up to just in time to shift the mood. She handed you a tablet, “Hey…Uh, Dr Weisz put me in charge of doing the drive roster. I need at least two senior medical staff to supervise. I asked Dr Sanje and Dr Cho, but they’re swamped.”

Mike groaned, “Nope, I’ve had enough of kids for today.” He walked away.

“Mike, where are you going?” You called after him

He raised the clipboard in the air, “To exercise my empathetic muscles.”

“Drive?” Stephen looked over at Arlene, his height and hooded gaze made her wring her wrists anxiously.

Her voice went several octaves softer, “F-flu sh-shots. The hospital sends out a van to the school district each season.”

“Wow, you really do that?” Stephen sounded surprised. “And you guys sign up for this?”

You signed two names on the roster, “You’re not at Met Gen anymore, Stephen. We do things differently here.”

Arlene accepted the tablet with a nod and hurried on her way. You turned to Stephen and asked: “Do you have any patients?”

“Not many in need of brain surgery here,” he sounded almost wistful.

“Good,” you smirked. A mischievous twinkle in your eye. “How are you with kids?”

You started heading down the hallway.

“Terrible,” Stephen followed, looking particularly perplexed by the question. “Why?”

You held back your need to laugh.

“So this is why you asked,” Stephen folded his hands over his chest, looking down at you as though you were the devil himself. He wasn’t at all thrilled about the fact you had dragged him away from the hospital to give out flu shots at a school.

“The alternative would’ve been babysitting,” you poked fun at him. “And my Spike has a tendency to bite strange men.”

“You have a kid?” Stephen was taken aback.

You bit back a laugh, letting Stephen do a little mental gymnastics as you walked away.

He was ridged and out of his element around the kids. It was the first time his larger than life personality seemed grounded, awkward. You loved every moment of it.

“This is a seasonal occurrence?” Stephen asked with a hint of exasperation in his tone.

The two of you were seated on a bench in the cafeteria while you waited for the other Fellows and Interns to clear up the equipment. A small juice box was held between Stephen’s palms. His long fingers appeared cartoonishly large holding the small juice box.

“What Met Gen never ask you to give out shots?” you asked rhetorically.

His brow had been furrowed the entire time, “How do you do it?”

“Do what?” You popped the lid off your yoghurt drink.

“Work here. Live here,” He shook his head, confounded by it all. “All those years of medical training to wind up here? In a town that’s so…predictable?”

You let out a slow breath, feeling somewhat insulted. “I used to work in the city. I was raised in the city, actually.”

“And you left, willingly?” Stephen guffawed.

“When I first got here, Dr Weisz said that this wasn’t a place for those who wanted to make a name for themselves –to spread their wings. She told me this is where we perch,” you took a long gulp of your drink.

Stephen ruffled his professionally styled hair, “And what’s that supposed to mean? That this is where your career comes to die?”

“That this isn’t a place that puts ambition before practice. Not everyone in this field is in it for the fame.” Your words came off accusatory.

Stephen picked up on the fact he had offended you. You closed the lid on your drink a little too tight. The ridges of the cap burning your palm. Stephen didn’t apologise, he just looked elsewhere as if pondering life’s mysteries. That annoyed you even further.

What did Christine see in him? You wondered.

“Help!” A teacher burst into the cafeteria in a panic, arm pointing behind her. “Earl–one of our staff members–he just collapsed!”

You and Stephen shot up, taking an emergency kit with you.

The man, Earl, was lying on the ground, unresponsive.

“Any medical history we should be aware of?” you asked the woman who led you to Earl.

“I- N-n… I don’t…” She shook.

Stephen got to him before you did. He checked his respiratory rate and pulse like it was second nature, counting the beats with the ticking of the second’s hand on his expensive watch.

“Unresponsive,” Stephen said. “Get the tube, I’ll begin chest compressions.”

You looked over at the unresponsive man, methodically weighing the options. The amount of time it would take you to unpack the tube, get it into his airways, attach the pump and begin to force air into his airways… You didn’t linger on it, it was best to get him breathing now.

Without warning, you leaned over, pinched the man’s nose and began mouth to mouth.

Stephen lost his cool, “What are you--?”

“Begin chest compressions,” you ordered, ignoring Stephen’s glare.

The two of you worked together, no need for extra words. In tandem, you were like a muscle unit. When you contracted he relaxed. And vice versa.

Finally, after more compressions than you would’ve liked to wait through, Earl coughed and groaned to consciousness.

“Wha- happ’n’d?” Earl slurred his words.

“Welcome back,” you flopped back onto the floor, wiping sweat from your brow. “Come on, buddy. You’re coming with us to get a check-up.”

The grey haired man gave no fuss, he got up on wobbly feet, aided by Stephen and said: “Yes, ma’am.”

A beeping sound went off as you helped Earl into the back of an ambulance. Stephen had been uncharacteristically quiet since the whole thing went down. You chalked it up to wounded pride.

The car ride had been uncomfortable. Neither of you said a word to one another. Even if it was wounded pride, he was blowing things way out of proportion.

You wheeled Earl into the hospital with the help of the paramedics, “Sixty-five-year-old male, collapsed from unknown reasons. Slurred speech and incoherence. Had to perform CPR on sight.”

“Earl?” Jan recognised the man.

You walked over to her desk, “Know him?”

“Yeah, my son’s history teacher. Think he has a heart problem,” Jan said.

“Possible heart failure!” You shouted after the residents. One of them nodded in response.

“Why’s he so sour?” Jan looked over at Stephen.

“That’s what I wanna know,” you huffed.

You pulled Stephen aside.

“What’s the matter with you?” you whispered.

He flexed his jaw muscles, eyes growing smaller and he leaned down to speak in a careful tone, “I specifically told you to use the tube.”

“It would have taken too long,” you protested.

“Do you know why I specifically asked you to use the tube?”

You bit your lip, “No, why?”

“Because of Mike’s patient. He’s a teenage kid exhibiting symptoms of either bacterial or viral infection, possibly contagious. There’s a high chance he goes to that school. You could have exposed yourself to a contagion,” he made sure to stress his words so they fell like bricks rather than cards. “But then again, what do I know, since I’m just in it for the fame. Right?”

He was right. Damn him, but he was right. You had thought only of the patient, not the environment.

You couldn’t find anything else to say. Stephen pinched his nose bridge and strode away. The temple on his forehead was throbbing.

And then the second wave hit as soon as you walked into the main wing.

“Do you know how irresponsible this is? It’s not just your kids that are put at risk by this,” Mike held his hands on his hips, stance wide. He was in a heated conversation with the parents from earlier. Noah’s parents.

Stephen caught wind of the commotion and butted in, “What’s the issue?–Observation Three, isn’t it?–I’m guessing you got the tests back?”

“Sure did,” Mike sucked in air through his teeth and handed the chart to Stephen.

“Type B…” Stephen sounded worried. “Why wasn’t he immunised?”

“They chose not to,” Mike waved his hand at the parents.

You were about to play referee again, only this time it seemed Stephen and Mike were both on the same offensive team while the parents held their defensive position.

Stephen straightened his back and somehow he appeared taller, intimidating. His professional face was on, and he instantly began barking orders, “Mike, there’s a patient we just brought in, elderly man, mid 60’s, possible heart condition. Make sure they run a blood screen on him too in case this isn’t an isolated incident. Has the CDC been informed?”

“Dr Weisz is making that call now,” Mike sounded defeated.

“Make sure the kid gets a chest x-ray and do cultures for the parents and younger sibling too. Oh, and inform the school,” Stephen grabbed your elbow and led you away from the crowd. “You’re coming with me.”

“Where?”

“An isolation unite. Noah tested positive for Influenza B.”

You swallowed.

The testing took a few hours and four Sudoku games before your results came back. Stephen walked into your isolated unit without taking the necessary precautions.

It was good news then.

You sighed in relief.

Stephen hadn’t cooled off yet.

“Lab work came back negative,” Stephen kept both hands in his pockets. “Turns out Earl had a pacemaker installed a year ago. It’s been giving him some trouble for a while. He didn’t come in due to insurance issues.”

“And Noah?” you asked.

“Antibiotics seem to be working. Caught it early enough. He’ll be fine. School only had one other case to report.”¨

There was a beat of silence. Then you decided to bite the bullet, guilt gnawing at your gut.

“Listen, Strange, I wanted to app—”

“You should get some rest,” Stephen cut you short.

You weren’t going to leave until you said your piece. Otherwise you’d toss and turn all night, “But first let me—”

He was avoiding your gaze, “I should go and check on Earl.”

“Stephen!”

He stopped.

You realised, just then, that that was the first time you’d called him by his first name. It felt…personal. No longer simply professional.

He turned to look at you, slowly.

“I—I’m sorr—”

“I was wrong,” he said suddenly. “This town. It’s not as predictable as I thought. It appears there are still some things that can surprise me.”

Did Strange –Stephen! – Just admit he was wrong?

You were stunned, pleasantly so.

Before you could think to say something else, he was gone.

I DID IT I DIPPED MY FEET IN THE MLP NEXT GEN POOL.....idk how this happened i just got suddenly struck with the need to do so a few days ago and I havent been able to stop since.

the pics have captions if u click on them, but i wrote a more in depth explanation for all of them under the cut! and by more in depth i mean i thought about this way too hard and already have storylines written out in my head oops. click the read more if you dare, it is super long under there im not kidding.

OK LETS DO THIS

1 and 2: Sunset eventually returns home to Equestria, saying goodbye to her human friends (although she visits often) Twilight offers to let her stay with her and the two naturally become very close. Considering how instrumental Twilight was in helping Sunset become a better person, and how much they have in common, what with being magical unicorns (or alicorn in twilights case) and former pupils of celestia, it only makes sense that they eventually become a couple. twilights original idea was to adopt a child in need of a home, kind of like what she did with spike (and that might still happen ;3), but one day twilight and sunset decide to cast some strange super old spell they find in some forbidden book and....Whoops! Baby! Silver Lining is immediately adored by her two mothers tho, and she grows up to be not only a powerful magic user but also a very kind and sweet pony.

3 and 4: Pinkie encouraging her son, Orange Cream Soda, to overcome his fear over his first day at school. Pinkie and Fluttershy briefly dated for a while! Pinkie loved helping Fluttershy get out of her shell. Although they both had fun and enjoyed each others company, neither really took the relationship very seriously. It isn’t until Pinkie turns up pregnant that the two of them have an actual conversation about what they want in the relationship. Together they decide that the relationship isn’t quite working, and they agree to just stay friends and take turns parenting their soon to be son. Orange Cream grows to be a very friendly colt, but also a very shy and secluded one. He has Fluttershy’s timid nature, on top of the feelings of awkwardness he has about having two parents who love him very much, but aren’t together. Eventually, he moves in permanently with the apple family when Fluttershy marries Applejack.

5, 6, and 7: Applejack and Fluttershy! This was the first ship I planned out because I am just so weak for them together. Flutters doesn’t feel the need to step out of her comfort zone too much when shes with AJ, and the two of them together excel at providing a warm and loving home for all creatures. After a long time together, and lots of serious talks making sure they’re on the same page, they decide to have kids! Their first being Pink Lady, whose personality and special talent is the very embodiment of the kindness and hospitality that AJ and Fluttershy’s relationship provides. She’s quickly followed by Sun Crisp AKA Sunny, Dandelion, and Red Angus. Plus Orange Cream, who’s immediately accepted as the new big brother of the family.

8: Pinkie and Luna.....That’s right bitches I’m shipping an alicorn princess with the fucking 4th wall breaking cupcake addict, my brain is huge. Pinkie, although ultimately happier with her separation with Fluttershy, is still a bit dejected with her life for a bit. As shown in the show, Pinkie gets pretty depressed when she feels her friends don’t like her. And although she knows for a fact that she has plenty of friends, all of whom love her, she begins to worry for a bit that she’s not mature enough to raise her son by herself, not to mention not being mature enough for a serious relationship after her one with Flutters fell apart. During one of her famous parties, she notices Luna step out for a bit and decides to follow her. They talk for a bit, and they both realize they have more in common than previously thought. Turns out that being considered obnoxious, hyper, and childish gives the same feeling as being considered terrifying, strange, and out of touch; that of feeling like an outcast. Over time they bond, reassure each other of their inherent worth, and eventually fall in love!

9 and 10: Luna and Pinkie’s kids, Sugar Moon and Laughing Gas! Sugar Moon is a natural born alicorn, and certainly looks the part. but you don’t get to be the daughter of the princess of the night and a sugar addicted party animal and have a regular sleep schedule. she has constant bags under her eyes, chugs coffee mixed with nyquil, and literally never knows what day it is. she is the least composed pony in existence, but she remains chill despite this. who cares if she hasnt slept in over 42 hours. shes got a discount on the nearby donut shop and some snazzy heart sunglasses, she’ll be fine. Laughing Gas is a bit more well adjusted, but god knows they aren’t safe from the insanity of being luna and pinkies child. they’re a dentist, which means they have the unenviable task of dealing with pinkies cavity filled mouth on a constant basis. that and their auntie celestia’s too. celestia already had a sweet tooth, and it only got worse when pinkie moved in and enabled it. Laughing Gas isn’t an alicorn like their sister, but they’re just fine being a regular old unicorn. Despite being the dentist child of the element of laughter and a literal god-like being, they’re happy living a relatively normal life. Or as normal a life you can have when you’re full name is Nitrous Laughing Gas Oxide and your job involves sedating other ponies so you can poke at their teeth. Dentists are fucking weird, man.

I made a Huebby family

Cuz I hate myself and insist on making content for dying ships...

Anyway, I suck at drawing, have an aesthetic board instead:

The family consists of Huey and Webby, married after a few years out of high school, Boyd, the lovable robot who is adopted by yet another new set of parents, and Bethany, their biological daughter (and oldest of my next gen of duck cousins).

Anyway, more about the kids under the cut!

Boyd:

Boyd does not age, so naturally caring for an eternal 10 year old gets to be a bit taxing for Gyro, especially as he gets older and further entrenched in his work

Having not really thought about having kids yet, Huey suggest to Webby that they take Boyd in

He and Boyd have always been friends, and being the next person give him a home just seems right to him

Webby is excited by the idea, although she is super nervous about being a mother

She’s never had a mom before, and didn’t have an exactly healthy childhood herself but she’s comforted by the idea of a robot child - much harder to inadvertently harm

Boyd is so very happy to have his best friend as his dad

They have a lot of fun little father son outings

Dad is definitely the fun one, but that also means he has a bit of a hard time disciplining him cuz they’re still just kinda buddies

As much as he loves his dad though, he is arguably more entranced by the idea of having a mom

He’s never had a real mother figure in his life before, so Webby is like this heavenly being descended from the clouds in his eyes

She is the only one who can calm him down- he loves it when she sings to him

And Webby is a great mom, she puts forth an ungodly amount of effort into raising this thing, but she’s admittedly not that great at stereotypical mom stuff

Her cooking kinda sucks, she’s super scatterbrained, and not great with child endangerment

But Boyd is a very forgiving child, so even when she’s crying over how terribly something’s turned out, he gives her a big ol’ hug and tells her how much he loves her

Boyd is also one of those kids who just drops profound truths on his parents all the time

“It’s okay mom, you tried your best, and that’s what’s most important, right?”

They love their little droid baby

Bethany:

Bethany is born about 2 years after Boyd is first adopted.

She's named after her mother, Englabeth - although Huey isn't fully aware they've named their child after an inside joke yet

Bethany is very soft spoken, but she has a lot of energy and enthusiasm- she really isn’t shy

She wears her hair in a lot of low ponytails and loves the color pink, just like her mom!

Boyd has never had siblings before, so when Bethany is first born he is very excited to have a baby sister, but he basically has to be baby proofed- rockets aren't exactly safe for small children

His parents have to teach him to be gentle around her and he eventually works up to a place where they feel comfortable letting him watch her

He flips out over every little thing she does though, child care is, understandably, not part of his original programming so he does not understand any of the logic of this tiny little person

As she grows up they become the absolute best of friends

They are both pretty well behaved kids so they don't often get into trouble, but together they seem more emboldened to disobey their parents

There have been many times where they snuck out together and things didn't exactly end well

As she grows older than her brother she becomes very conscious of their family situation, realizing that her brother will never grow up like she will

This kind of kicks her into an adulthood mindset really quickly

She gets very protective of her brother, starts taking on new responsibilities, and becomes kind of a workaholic

In high school, she’s a super overachiever- all honors classes, extracurriculars (in the form of student council, orchestra, choir), excessively studies, always helping someone else with their homework, that sort of thing

Huey is extremely proud of her as he was the exact same way in high school, although he does always push her to take time to go out with friends more and… you know, sleep

She understandably grows an interest in programming and would love for it to become her career one day

That’s what I got for now. My Dewlet fam is next ;)

GENERATIONS AND BESTFRIENDS

here’s a super duper big list that explains the kids and which generations they belong in, as well as who is their best friends and all that good jazz!

here’s the masterlist to all things nct dad related! go and check it out to see the different descriptions of the kids!

honestly, all of the kids are close with each other, but some are just closer than others and stuff so there’s no such thing as kids who “hate” each other

*** IMPORTANT ***

LANGUAGE IS NOT A BARRIER FOR THE KIDS!!!

i know this isn’t really what it would be like and IM NOT SAYING ALL THE KIDS SPEAK KOREAN.

just imagine a world where they can all understand each other even tho they may or may not speak the same language

(for example: nakamoto akari and moon yoojin are best friends and even though akari is part (or full, depends on the reader haha) japanese and yoojin is part (again, or full) korean they can understand each other)

you can honestly believe what you’d like! if you want them to both speak korean or yoojin can speak japanese, or they both speak english or german or spanish... whatever! you make that decision!

Legacy Questionnaire

Thought this would be fun to do so I can look back on it after a few more generations pass and see how some answers change. This can also be done as a ‘send me a number’ game so if you want to do that you can find the original post by @melien, here. Inspired by @an0nymousghost, you can check out their post here!

1. When did you start your legacy? What inspired you to do it?

I started this Legacy on March 28, 2019. I usually do challenges where there are a lot of rules for each generation but I wanted to start something where I could do pretty much what I wanted and play a little bit more out of my comfort zone. And I’d seen a lot of amazing Legacies on Simblr that made me want to do my own and post it.

2. Are you following any strict rules there or just play how you want?

Nah, I’m basically just doing what I want.

3. Post the oldest picture you have from your legacy save.

The first ever Sharp house. Originally created by lilsimsie but I gave it a renovation. It’s up for download if anyone wants it!

4. What’s so special about your founder that you wanted to start a legacy with them?

She wasn’t really special to be honest. I just finally made a Sim that I managed to enjoy playing enough to not give up and start a new family like I’ve done a few times before with Legacy Challenges.

5. Favourite generation(s)

Generation 1 was probably my favourite. Which makes it sounds like I’ve enjoyed the family less and less as the challenge has gone on but that not the case at all. I think it’s because even though it was only a little over a year ago, I have a bit of nostalgia for that generation? Idk, I’m weird.

6. Favourite heir.

Probably Harper, the Gen 3 heir.

7. Favourite spare.

Either Abi from Gen 1 or Jordan from Gen 3.

8. Favourite spouse.

Alessia, the Gen 4 spouse. I’m gonna be really sad when I have to move on to Gen 5 and stop playing her.

11. If you ever did any story lines, what is the one you’re most proud of?

I’m not a huuuge fan of making big story lines for my Sims but sometimes I have little things in my head about the Sims’ personality or their motivations for doing certain things that someone looking through my legacy won’t know because I don’t necessarily put them into my posts to make a huge story.

12. Any memorable moments?

Mango, a cat from Gen 2, randomly going into labour. I literally don’t know how she got pregnant.

13. Any funny moments?

None that I can think of. That’s upsetting.

14. The most unexpected twist in your legacy?

Some of the kids were unexpected twists - Harper and Hazel weren’t supposed to exist and neither was Eli but I have a problem with making my Sims have too many kids.

15. Favourite name used on your sims?

I remember being very excited about naming Gus. And I love the name Sonny, especially for a boy. For surnames, I was really proud of Nair and Lane, even though they’re pretty basic lmao.

16. Who of your legacy sims you can relate the most to?

I don’t really relate to any but if I had to choose it would either be Abi or Harper.

17. Do you usually get attached to them or just play without deep thinking?

I get kind of attached in that I love looking back at old screenshots and remember how fun it was to play them but I don’t cry when my Sims die or anything like that because I usually have other Sims that I can move onto and focus on. And like... if I really wanted to see a Sim again, I probably have them saved somewhere.

18. Any surprise babies? What was the story?

Not really a surprise because I made it happen, but Harper and Hazel were not part of my original plan for Generation 2. I planned on Faye only having 2 kids but I was bored and when that happens I usually cure the boredom by having more kids, which I’m trying very hard to stop doing because after the excitement of having the baby is over, I can be even less interested in playing than I was initially.

19. Who of your sims has the best style?

I feel like none of my Sims have the best style, they’re all pretty generic, but if I had to choose... Jordan or Harper.

20. Who is the best genetic mix of their parents?

This is definitely a flaw of The Sims 4 and its shitty skin tones but I quite like that Max and Jordan (who are twins) have a slight mix of their parent’s genetics. Max has Harper’s hair and Cheyanne’s skin tone. And Jordan has Cheyanne’s hair and Harper’s skin tone.

Again, this shouldn’t be a thing. The kids should have a skin tone that’s in the middle of what their parents’ skin tone is but I just thought it was interesting when I noticed it.

21. Is your legacy berry, vanilla, banilla, or a mix of those?

Vanilla in the sense that they aren’t berry sims but not vanilla in the sense that I use a lot of CC and some mods.

22. Have you ever done another legacies apart from this one?

I’ve started a few, two of which I began posting on here but then deleted because I didn’t like how they were going. I was 100% expecting to give up with the Sharp family as well but it’s going pretty good so far.

23. How many generations are you aiming for? When you reach a certain milestone, are you going to continue playing or just wrap up the whole thing?

If I lose interest at any point and genuinely get bored of the Sharp family then I’ll probably stop at the end of whichever generation I’m on but ideally I want to complete 10 generations. I might take a Sim born in the final generation and use them in another legacy/challenge I start as a spouse or something but I’ll stop with the Sharp Legacy after 10.

24. Have you ever done any other challenges with your sims from the legacy?

At some point I probably will use someone from the Sharp family in something else but so far I haven’t. I will be using a Sim from another challenge/family in Sharp Gen 5 though.

25. What do you do when you feel uninspired playing the legacy?

Either stop playing The Sims 4 altogether or play another challenge/family for a bit.

26. Have you had your sims die? Which death was the hardest to take?

I’m on Gen 4 so a lot of Sims have died at this point, all from old age. So far, Harper’s was probably the hardest to take.

27. Do you have this one OTP that stands out among the other legacy couples? Tell us about them!

Jordan and Jackson. I don’t know what it is about them, I just love them so much. Sometimes I wish I made Jackson the heir. I knew that for Gen 4 I wanted to live in Sulani and do Island Living stuff but I didn’t mold Jordan into an Island Living type of Sim so it wouldn’t have fit very well.

28. Have you had a sim who you grew to like?

Eli was very unplanned and I had no idea what to name him and I was like ugh why did I do this but now I love him a lot. Originally, I named him Casper.

Bailey was also very hard to name. I’ve always really loved her, it’s just the name that I’m not sure about. I like the name Bailey but something about Bailey Sharp isn’t my fave. And Sonny and Bailey don’t go together that well imo. But at the same time, now I couldn’t imagine her having a different name so... idk.

29. Have you had a sim that you fell in love with right away?

I’m always obsessed with the first born in a generation so - Abi, Hanna, Max & Jordan, Sonny

30. Do you choose your heirs yourself or make heir polls?

I have thought about making an heir poll when I’m not sure what I want to do for the next Generation but so far, I’ve managed to figure it out so I haven’t needed a poll.

Also, when it comes to choosing an heir, I usually like to choose when they are still a child so I can kind of mold them into what I want for the next Generation as they’re growing up. So making a poll would be hard because the people voting wouldn’t know my plan and I wouldn’t want to give major spoilers for what’s to come.

31. The first legacy memory that pops up in your head?

Safiya going to a cafe to make friends but she ended up just sitting alone drinking coffee. Or when Cheyanne and Harper went on a date and Harper died...

32. The hottest sim?

Gus, Max or Brandie

33. The prettiest sim?

I feel like I’ve been very lucky with this family because all the kids have been really pretty but if I had to choose, probably either Abi, Hayley or Jordan.

34. The most unique sim?

I feel like all my Sims are pretty basic to be honest. If I had to choose... maybe Jordan? I’m not sure.

35. Have you had any sims that remind you of someone?

I’ve never really thought about it, so I guess not.

36. Do you use other people’s sims in your legacy?

I think most of the Sims I’ve used for this Legacy are either pre-made Sims in the saves I’ve been using or I’ve made them. I don’t think I’ve specifically downloaded anyone from somewhere for my Sim to marry. I probably will do that at some point though.

37. Imagine if you had a chance to meet one of your sims. Who would it be?

That’s so weird for me to imagine but if I had to, either Jordan or Harper.

38. Do you have that one generation you wish you’d done differently?

I love Brandie and Eli so much but I sometimes wish Harper and Cheyanne had Max and Jordan and then were done with babies because 2 generations in a row with 4 babies is a bit much.

39. Your favourite non-romantic relationship in the legacy?

Harper and Hazel were fun to play with at the beginning of Gen 3 when they went to university.

40. Random fun fact about your legacy you want to share!

I’m trying to make each generation a bit different and focus on a pack. Gen 1 and Gen 2 were both fairly generic but Gen 3 had a university theme for a while and Gen 4 is Island Living. Gen 5 will probably be a mix of Island Living and Eco Lifestyle (if I can be bothered to figure out how to properly work Eco-Lifestyle).

i dont think im familiar with your ocs so if it's alright may i ask 1-5 for your most recently created/worked on oc? and 1-2 for the creator questions?

Ok so I created my OC’s in a batch and they’re the main characters of their story but I think Alex Wright is the most fun right now to talk about so I’ll do him!

1) What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Alex spent the first like 16 years of his life alone in a forest only coming into human society to eat every couple years or so (he is very much not human). So when he’s initially adjusting to regular human life with his sisters (who adopted him) he has no concept of boredom or entertainment really... but he is not used to confinement so it’s less of a question of nothing to do and more a question of like the anxiety of living in a motel room 24/7. As he adjusts (begrudgingly) he comes to really enjoy like shitty motel day television, and it becomes difficult to tear him away from that. He particularly enjoys killing monsters though, as that becomes his primary outlet for anger (somebody get this kid some healthy coping mechanisms man). So whenever Alex starts to light stuff in the motel room on fire the girls know they gotta get him out there killing something before he disappears and burns down an abandoned building and kills a regular person on accident. I’d say that at first those occurrences happen like once or twice a week, but as he settles in they become increasingly rare, especially as he realizes even victimless crimes are not truly victimless.

2) How easy is it for your character to laugh?

Alex doesn’t know what laughter is really at first, and almost never does it. He later becomes super arrogant about like killing monsters so when he’s in a fight if somebody throws a one liner at him about making him pay or killing him or whatever he barks this laugh and it’s really unsettling to the girls. Later when he softens up (he’s lived his entire life in violence, so this takes time) he will laugh at practical jokes. Oh there is an incident where he’s playing with a butterfly knife and Charlie (oldest sister) says with not a little bit of scorn something like “Alex, you know those are totally useless in a fight, right? It takes so long to open it’s literally just for show.” and Alex just fucking stabs her in the arm with it and cackles and Max (middle sister) is like “Goddamn it Alex!!! She can’t heal like you can!” and Alex has this look of horror before grumbling an apology and getting the first aid kit for Max.

3) How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

Alex doesn’t need to sleep as much as normal humans do so he at first spends his nights just watching tv but later the girls try and get him to do research and everything for them if they’re working on figuring out the monster they’re after. Alex, who lived in a forest for 16 years with minimal human contact, does NOT know how to read. So Max takes that on since Charlie doesn’t really want anything to do with him. Once Max manages to teach Alex how to read, he really really enjoys that and when he has the time he’ll work through books of increasing complexity. His first book is a magic treehouse one, that Max bought from a tiny used bookstore. When Alex is not coping very well (he gets lonely, now that he knows human companionship) he’ll reread it. Otherwise, he’ll listen to music on this battered first gen ipod he found in a victim’s pocket until the girls scrape together enough money to get him an actual smartphone (which they also have to teach him how to use).

4) How easy is it to earn their trust?

Alex is very ride or die, but it doesn’t happen right away. He picked Max because they’re both psychic and Max was one of the first people to offer him kindness in a cruel world he did not understand. They’re also both psychic, so Alex can read Max’s intentions off her and knows that she’s somebody he can trust. Charlie is disturbed by Alex at first, often threatening to kill him when Max first insists on taking him in. Since Charlie is also a very weak psychic, Alex is confused by this because Charlie is actually very conflicted by the whole thing. With characters that aren’t psychic, Alex has trouble reading intentions so often errs on the side of caution.

5) How easy is it to earn their mistrust?

Pretty easy, although Alex does wind up being very forgiving, he never forgets. Like, he does wind up trusting Charlie completely, but only because he can read off of her her regret and her own willingness to make things work as time goes on. With other characters, Alex might be hurt by them, and he will forgive them for it, but he will never put himself in a position to be hurt by them again.

A) Why are you excited about this character?

I think Alex is just really fun, because he’s not human, and he winds up being this kind of pawn character that other characters want to sway to their side, but his undying loyalty was given to Max when they first met, even though that wasn’t Max’s goal when she was kind to him. He doesn’t even wind up playing too big a role in the plot outlines that I have so far, but he’s just so much fun to think about.

B) What inspired you to create them?

Unfortunately, the whole cast of characters here is inspired by Supernatural. I’m taking things in a fairly different direction, but Alex specifically is like dark side Jack Kline. I’ve seen some HBO SPN posts circulating that talk about Jack and while I didn’t take inspiration from those (I’d already worked out Alex before I started seeing them) it’s similar to the ideas of I have going on for him

“Come on in! Sorry it’s a mess.” Someone had opened the door to your new design shop and the little bell had dinged, signaling for you to stop what you were doing. “I haven’t moved in all the way and I’m really slow.” You look up to see Jared looking around the main room of your shop. “Oh. Hey Jared.” You put your phone in your pocket after turning the music off. “Can I help you?” “Uh, yeah. Jensen said that he was coming by to get you some food and he’s still at the shop getting his SUV looked at. He wanted me to drop some food off for you before I went to pick him up.”

“Oh, wow.” You take the Schoepf’s bag, and give it a sniff. “That barbeque smells amazing. Thank you.” “Yeah.” He clears his throat and looks around. “So this is your shop?” “Yeah. Once I get some food, I’ll be able to finish up everything.” You reply looking around. “I usually have my oldest help but she wanted to stay with my parents today. Probably knew I’d make her work.” “So, you draw?” he picks up a piece you had just printed earlier that day. It was a water-colored print of a family that had commissioned a family portrait from you. “I do a lot of stuff. Digital art is a big thing. Shirts. Whatever you fancy. I plan on teaching a lot of different classes for adults or kids.” You take a bite of a hot fry and then a sip of Dr. Pepper. “Cool. Maybe I’ll bring the boys some time. Or have Gen bring em’.” He shoves his hands in his pockets awkwardly. He looked as if he wanted to talk to you, but he wouldn’t.

“Okay,” you drop the fry in your hand and walk towards him. “You are walking on eggshells around me and it looks like you don’t want to be here. Do you really hate me that much?” “Hate you? I don’t hate you. I just…” “You don’t know me, so you don’t trust me. He did meet me at a convention so he doesn’t know if I’m a crazy fan. Plus I’m pregnant and if the father comes back in to the picture it could get dangerous for both of us.” “How? How the hell do you know that? That was our conversation verbatim basically yesterday.” Jared tilts his head, but whether he’s confused or concerned you aren’t sure. It suddenly dawns on him that you might’ve heard that from Jensen. “Wait. Jensen told you, right?” “No. He actually butt–dialed me. I heard the conversation and I hung up after a while. I was going to talk to him about it today, but I forgot that this place needs to be done first so I can open next Monday.” You sigh and fold your arms across your chest. “Look, you don’t have to like me. I don’t care, I’ll get over it. But don’t judge me until you get to know me. Then maybe you’ll be able to actually consider me a friend, and trust that I’m not here to hurt Jensen.” Jared looks around at boxes still needing to be unpacked and he sighs. “Okay, can I help you unpack?"

General Randomness What's the weather like right now? It’s very bright and sunny out, but January is typically one of the colder days of the year so I’m not feeling uncomfortable right now. It’s the perfectly chilly temperature I would have liked to have all year long. What are you currently sitting on? I am sitting on a chair at our dining table, which is usually where I take surveys. How many times have you brushed your teeth today? Just once.

When did you get up? I’ve been up since 8, but didn’t get out of bed until 10.

Have you been in a vehicle for more than 45 minutes today? I haven’t been in a car at all today cos I’ve only stayed home. Angela invited me to go out for some drinks but I didn’t feel like drinking or being out today, so I’ve been home the whole time.

Where is your best friend? I think Angela is at home but I’m sure she’s getting ready to go out for the aforementioned ^ drinking. I’m not sure where Gab is. How many days until Christmas? Oh wow, barely missed it, chief. There are 355ish days left, I’m guessing? Have you kissed someone today? Nope. Is your mom over 50? No, and she still has a year to go. How old were you 7 years ago? I was technically 14, but was about to turn 15 in a few months. Do you know what 'C'est la vie' means? Yep. In Gen Z lingo, it essentially means, ‘it be like that sometimes’ lmao. Do you usually take showers or baths? Showers, because we don’t have bathtubs and also because I find it much more efficient anyway. I only take baths when I’m out of town, in a fancy hotel, and want to pamper myself with bubbles and fancy body wash. What kind of bottoms are you wearing right now? I’m wearing shorts just meant for the home.

Are you wearing anything red? Yes, the pair of shorts I just talked about. What was the name of your first pet? I didn’t keep track of my first goldfish’s name but a good guess would be Goldie. I wasn’t a very creative kid, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that turned out to be right. Do you live in an apartment? Nope. I’ve been living with my parents under their roof. What color is the floor in the room you're in? Cream-ish. What was the most irritating thing to happen to you today? My thesis professor being a headache to talk to. I am genuinely baffled at how she was able to secure a very high position in my university’s administration, considering how erratic she can get. How do you feel about your most recent ex? She’s great. Do you wish at 11:11? No. Do you wish on shooting stars? I would, if they often visited on this side of the world. But they don’t, so. Do you wish on dandelions? No. There aren’t a lot where I live. Are you drinking anything right now? Mmm no, not at the moment. I finished my coffee a little while ago and while I want to make a second cup to keep myself awake, I have an early morning tomorrow so I’d want to sleep early tonight. It’s back to work for me, ugh. About how tall is your father? Not too tall. He’s like, 5′5 or 5′6. How old is your oldest living grandparent? I only know the age of one grandparent, and that’s my 73 year old maternal grandmother. I don’t get to see my paternal grandparents a lot cos they live quite far, so with that comes my insufficient knowledge about them. Do you know anyone who has lived to be 100+? Gab’s great-grandmother, but she passed away last November. Have you had your birthday yet this year? Nope. There’s been a mere three days into the year, so very few people would already have had their birthdays hahaha. Do you read your horoscope on a regular basis? No. You do you, but I was never a fan. Dark Moon Kingdom

In my AU version of things, it’s important to understand the setting and my version on the Dark Moon Kingdom to get certain parts of the plot. The Dark Moon Kingdom, rather than being on the moon, is on Earth, it’s just sort of a parallel version of Earth. It’s sort of on a separate plan of existence, but royalty and those with enough magic can pass through the barrier between the two earths. Normal Earth, where the main cast lives, is what’s left of the Moon Kingdom, but at this point has been wiped out and few descendants remain (Seri unknowingly being one of them). And as an added note, both Kingdoms have a crystal used by the royalty to protect their Kingdoms. The Moon Kingdom has the Silver Crystal while the Dark Moon Kingdom has the Dark Crystal. Neither have the negative side effects they have in the show, they just can only be used by royalty and shouldn’t be used if severely injured of sick since they use a lot of energy.

But that part isn’t really important, the important part is that the Dark Moon Kingdom sort of has three genders, male (XY), female (XX), and males that can naturally give birth (YY). Thus the bold letters near the characters show what their true genders are. YY’s are for all intent and purposes male and are recognized as men (albeit somewhat feminine men), they just are capable of getting pregnant (although they can impregnate females like normal men). Note Earth doesn’t follow these rules, thus making all the original Sailor Male Scouts XY men. And no, I’m not trying to excuse the homosexual relationships by saying they’re not quite men, the YY thing just works out for the story (plus it needed to be used).

Endyre and Seri

In the universe this story takes place in, Seri ends up with Endyre instead of Darren. Circumstances aren’t happy though. When Endyre attacked Earth when the original cast were 14, his plan was to reunite the Moon Kingdom with the Dark Moon Kingdom (make two Earth’s one). This was due to the fact the two worlds were originally one, but due to the Great War thousands of years ago, the Moon Kingdom split to avoid being wiped out by the Dark Moon Kingdom. The Moon Kingdom was so weakened at this point though and had no known living royalty, so the Kingdom ended up dying out. The Dark Moon Kingdom, while not destroyed, was significantly weakened by the split and suffered other hardships (which I won’t go into). Basically though, Endyre wanted to reunite the two Kingdoms due to his world slowly dying without the aid of the Silver Crystal.

But Seri has the Silver Crystal and is a long lost descendant of the royal family of the Moon Kingdom (and is therefore the only one who can use the Crystal), thus why Endyre initially pursues him. The Silver Crystal can save the Dark Moon Kingdom, a world that lives off magic and needs the light of the Silver Crystal to sustain this magic while Earth has already lost its magic (thus being fine even if it lost the Silver Crystal).

The battle between the Sailor Scouts and Endyre rages for two years with no side winning (note children from the future don’t exist or come to assist either side). In fact, Endyre is slowly starting to overwhelm the scouts to the point where innocent people are being killed in the crossfire, the scouts not able to keep up with Endyre’s army. But Endyre, not a complete douche at heart, doesn’t want to destroy the people of Earth, he only wants to help his people. He decides to try and make a deal with Seri, if Seri will become his “wife” and use the Silver Crystal to help his world, he will leave Earth along with the other scouts alone.

Seri ends up agreeing, having gained some maturity over these two years and realizing he and the other scouts won’t be able to beat Endyre. He leaves his boyfriend, Darren, along with the other scouts behind and goes with Endyre back to the Dark Moon Kingdom. The relationship isn’t happy between the two of them; Endyre basically forces himself on Seri (since Seri’s still stubborn and refuses to fully cooperate with being Endyre’s “wife”) and uses the power of the Dark Crystal to make Seri capable of bearing children. Neither really care for the other, Seri despises Endyre for what he does to him while Endyre initially couldn’t care less about Seri, only wanting him as a way of saving his Kingdom and uniting the bloodlines (thus making their children capable of using both Crystals).

The abusive relationship between the two of them continues for years, and it’s not until after Lunaria and Lunoir are born that things have improved slightly. Seri still dislikes Endyre, but hates him less than he use to while Endyre has started to care for Seri. But I won’t go into this too much since it’s super long and this section is already getting pretty long. Important thing is things get better between them, Seri ends up sleeping with Darren at some point (as well as Endyre on the same day) and gets pregnant with Chibisei and Chidisei and Endyre works to raise all six of the kids as a weird, somewhat dysfunctional family. And all the kids are super kickass, the Dark Kingdom valuing the ability to fight above most other things.

Quick side note on why Aime and Minoru can get pregnant

Basically in contact with Silver Crystal too much, and being Sailor Scouts left a sort of mark that made the Silver Crystal eventually let them get pregnant (Seri wished them happiness and to have a loving family with whoever they ended up falling in love with, he just didn’t know it would affect them like that). Plus, Endyre does eventually let Seri visit everyone whenever he wants.

Actual Plot of the Next Gen Story

An alien race (we’ll call them the Nebel, German for mist), are a race of humanoid like people that travel to other planets in search of races they can successfully reproduce with. Their species suffers from a severe lack of females (1 in 300 chance of child being a girl) and they have no nifty mpreg powers to make up for this. Sadly, reproducing with other races doesn’t increase the chance of having a female, so it’s necessary for the Nebel to constantly do this. But since they prefer not to interfere too much in other world’s affairs, they only take some people from the planets they visit and then go back home, finding a new planet and race of people when necessary.

Basically, males of their race will travel with a small group of other males to acquire a wife from another planet when they reach adulthood (although only more elite males tend to do this, other males will remain childless and might take another male of their own race as a life partner. This keeps the population from becoming unreasonably high since those with wives tend to have a lot of children, sometimes for adoption and such for childless couples). Earth just so happens to be the place one such small team of Nebel is visiting.

The Nebel find out that some men on Earth (actually Dark Moon Kingdom alternate Earth) are capable of giving birth, and seeing how this could possibly benefit their race if the same ability is passed to their male offspring, they try to steal away YY males. But Endyre’s crafty and due to the power of both crystals, the Nebel can’t enter the Dark Moon Kingdom. Basically this leads to a lot of conflict and the Nebel refuse to leave Earth without getting “wives.” So lots of fighting ensues and the children of the original cast get involved, mostly cause Endyre is actively resisting the Nebel and his children get involved as a result (and are connected with the other three main characters in some significant way).

The Nebel

They can turn into mist and use this to get to hard to reach areas, thus why they are called the Nebel. Hiding from them is somewhat useless because this ability lets them sneak though small cracks and such. They look exactly like normal humans except they have markings all along their body, similar to tribal markings (although less complex). Their eyes also don’t really have pupils, they instead have a ring where the pupil would be (think of a pupil with only the edge outlined). Note they can mask these strange features to appear like normal humans. Elite men of this race tend to be overly aggressive, although there are exceptions. Most Nebel are also much stronger and faster than normal humans, and often have a special power (although most powers are mist related). And despite the whole forcing other races to be their mates, most Nebel are free to choose what they do with their lives (so they are only elitist in thinking their own race is the best). Even the rare females aren’t openly forced to marry (although it’s highly encouraged) and even though some Nebel will take many wives and then breed children for adoption, other Nebel can take one wife and start a family if they so wish.

Important Nebel, although there are still more (I haven’t developed them much yet, but about 20 came on the mission to Earth)

Swen- The leader and oldest of the group (36ish). Has already had a wife from another planet, but due to her death, he came on this mission to find a new wife. A rather cold and calculating individual, he’s the strongest in the group as well as the smartest. He’s also from a super elite family, so is somewhat like a high noble in his society. He and Seleme have an interesting relationship.

Dieter- The Nebel after Nikita (and the most successful of all the group). Is one of the least aggressive of the group and actually seduces Nikita (at least as much as one can seduce a naïve 14 year old boy). Believes in trying to win over a mate rather than just take one, although this doesn’t mean he’s above trickery when the situation doesn’t go his way. He tends to come off as a manipulating pedophile…a lot (although that’s technically what he is).

Jurgen- Sadist of the group and twin brother of Ma’ik. Pursues Rain, since he finds her much more enticing than any of the males he meets on Earth. Wants a mate purely for the sexual component of it while the other also at least have children on mind along with the sex. Crazy is the easiest way to describe this one.

Ma’ik- Twin brother of Jurgen and only slightly less crazy than his brother (but not really). While his brother is very vocal about his depravity, Ma’ik tends to be fairly quiet and serious. This doesn’t mean he can't get worked up though. When it comes down to it, he’s probably more depraved and sadistic than his brother. Think of him like a creepy, quiet stalker that would follow you home in the middle of the night without you knowing and then proceed to rape and torture you as soon as he got you alone. Takes a special interest in Kamsuke (Lunoir is far from pleased about this). Second strongest Nebel of the group.

Uta- Only female Nebel on board. She’s the 15 year old daughter of Swen and he brought her to Earth to see if she could find a mate of her own (although he never really stresses the issue and mainly brought her to keep her safe from being married off on their home planet while he’s away. He’s a bit of an overprotective dad when it comes to her). A mostly sweet girl, but can get a bit Tsundere at times. Seems mostly naïve to what the other Nebel are doing, but when she does understand, she mostly supports what’s going on (although like Dieter, believes mates should be seduced rather than forced). Has a weird sort of romance with Rikuto (the only straight couple that kind of works out in this crazy story).

Characters Roles in Story (the briefer version)

Seleme

While he does help fight the Nebel, he’s sort of left his family at this point so he does his own thing rather than cooperate with the others. He specializes in seducing and sleeping with men (it’s his “fighting style”), and focuses on Swen, realizing he’s the leader. Thinks Swen doesn’t realize he’s seducing him for information, but Swen realizes what he’s doing from the beginning. Swen eventually decides to try and make him his mate since he finds the idea of taking Endyre’s first born and heir to the Dark Moon Kingdom highly amusing. Seleme also ends up pregnant with his kid around this point. Note Seleme’s more willful than he seems and doesn’t take this lying down (no pun intended). But despite all this, he does find himself attracted to Swen.

Lunoir

Really really really hates the Nebel (on par with his father on this issue). Can hold his own against the Nebel the best out of everyone and has to spend a lot of time helping Kamsuke and Rain (he and Lunaria do tend to stick together after all). Him and Ma’ik tend to have a lot of bitter battles, but Ma’ik is always too strong to ever be defeated.

Lunaria

While some of the Nebel do take an interest in her, most ignore her in favor of either Rain or the other cute, femy boys. Her and Lunoir do most of the fighting through this whole ordeal and spend a lot of time on normal Earth trying to help Rain and Kamsuke (since they refuse to go to the Dark Moon Kingdom for whatever reason).

Chibisei

Stays back in the Dark Moon Kingdom a lot to help her parents, but will go to Earth with Lunaria and Lunoir occasionally. She’s usually viewed as too young to be useful for bearing children, so the Nebel tend to ignore her (note this is based on her looks over her age much of the time). Mainly works closely with her father to figure out how to solve the problem of the Nebel. She’s also the first to notice what’s happening to Nikita and tries to get everyone to help, but by then it’s too late.

Chidisei

Kinda useless when it comes down to it. He can’t help Chibisei and his parents, but isn’t good at fighting like his older siblings. Him, Kamsuke, and Nikita (who also wants to help but doesn’t know what he can do) decide to do their own research on the Nebel by confronting some of them (which doesn’t always end well and sometimes ends with Lunaria and Lunoir having to save the day). Feels responsible about what eventually happens to his best friend and brother, even if it’s not his fault.

Nikita

Has it the worst right after Kamsuke. He meets Deiter while he’s searching for information about the Nebel with Chidisei and Kamsuke. Deiter is disguised as a normal person at the time, so they don’t recognize the danger. Much of what happens to Nikita is that whenever he’s alone, Deiter shows up and starts going all seductive pedophile on him. Nikita is very naïve though, so he doesn’t initially realize the danger Deiter poses. Deiter eventually manipulates him into having sex with him multiple times (never quite rape, but not totally consensual either) and Nikita ends up pregnant, at which point Deiter kidnaps him. Eventually gets taken back to the Nebels’s home planet with Deiter (thus why Deiter is the most successful of all the Nebel, he gets his “wife,” even if at the expense of his “wife’s“ happiness).

Rain

She and Lunaria are such the battle couple in this, it isn’t even funny (with Lunoir added as the somewhat condescending brother/brother-in-law). Jurgen takes an unhealthy interest in her, but surprisingly she avoids getting raped unlike every other character a specific Nebel takes an interest in. She doesn’t want to flee to the Dark Moon Kingdom for protection since she fears her parents (specifically Minoru) will be targeted.

Rikuto

Him and Seleme would be good friends if they took the effort. He also acts a bit independently in fighting the Nebel (he uses Chakram like weapons) and meets Uta by chance when she’s being super naïve at a convenience store. Initially thinks she’s a normal girl and doesn’t realize she’s a Nebel until they’ve both developed feelings for each other. He’s straight, unlike everyone else in this story, and his relationship with Uta is one of the key factors to solving the problem with the Nebel.

Kamsuke

Poor, poor Kamsuke. He suffers a lot due to being the only YY male on normal Earth. He’s a sickly boy in this universe and is wheelchair bound (although he can still fight with a bow made of his energy). Ma’ik takes an unhealthy interest in him, wanting someone to both torture and have as a pet to bear his children (the crippled legs is a sort of turn on for him since it means Kama can never run away and would have to drag himself along the ground in an attempt to get away from him). Lunoir works hard to try and protect him, but like Rain, he refuses to go to the Dark Moon Kingdom for similar reasons. Despite Lunoir’s best efforts and almost constant supervision, Ma’ik eventually manages to kidnap Kama and proceeds to torture and rape him. The experience leaves him devastated, broken, and (you guessed it) pregnant. Added to this, like Deiter, Ma’ik succeeds in getting Kamsuke back to his home planet. Lunoir and the others eventually manage to rescue him (after a few years of course), but Lunoir and Kama have a long road of recovery ahead of them.

OC Interview Tag

Rules: Pick a character from your WIP and have them answer these fifteen questions, then tag people. Thanks to @leonajasmin-writeblr for the tag! These characters are from my original WIP, The Radiant, which is about a group of teenagers who developed strange abilities as a result of growing up next to a nuclear waste dump. (Don’t buy a house near a nuclear waste disposal site, kids.) I’m going to use three because they’re beans and I love them and also can’t choose. Meg is regular text, Gigi is italics, Diya is bolded italics.

1. What is your full name?

Margaret Mai Lien Pham. Margaret is...an elegant old lady name my parents liked, Mai Lien is a nod to my Vietnamese heritage, and Pham is one of the most common Vietnamese surnames (and my father’s).

Genesis Chantal Cappellini (if you call me Genesis, I will murder you in cold blood), because I have strange parents. Chantal was chosen because not very many names sound nice with “Genesis,” and Cappellini is a super obscure last name that happens to be my family’s.

Diya Sunita Patel. Not sure why I was named that, but it’s nice, I suppose.

2. What does your full name mean?

Margaret means “pearl,” Mai means “cherry blossom,” Lien means “lotus,” and Pham means “extensive.” Two flowers and a gem...hmm, I wonder what my parents were trying to get at there. (More likely than not it was chosen just because it sounded nice - I doubt they would’ve named me “cherry blossom lotus” if they were going for meaning.)

Genesis means “origin” and is a book of the Bible, Chantal means “stone,” and Cappellini is - I kid you not - a type of pasta. Yup, I’m named after a book of the Bible and a pasta shape. WHY, MOTHER? WHYYYYY?

Diya means “gift,” Sunita means “one of good character,” and Patel means something roughly like “village chief.” That sets a pretty lofty standard...

3. What are your nicknames/other names?

Meg! I don’t mind being called Margaret, but no one really does. Sometimes my best friend calls me other random nicknames for Margaret - I think I’ve been Maggie, Daisy, even Maisie once - but to everyone else, it’s just Meg.

Gigi. No one outside of my family and one person I’ve known since I was four even knows what my real first name is, so yeah, it’s always Gigi. Which is as it should be. A very select group of people can call me Gen, but again, 99% of the time I’m just Gigi.

I don’t really have one.

4. What’s your gender?

Author here: not going to bother with the fancy writing because they’re all female.

5. What’s your sexuality?

Author here: Gigi is straight, but the other two girls’ sexualities are totally irrelevant to the story.

6. Where are you from?

Phoenix, Arizona.

Originally from Chicago, but moved to Phoenix when I was so young that I’ve never thought of myself as being from anywhere else.

Also Phoenix. Thing to look forward to about going away to college: not being in Phoenix.

7. How old are you?

Turning seventeen in two weeks and a junior in high school.

Sixteen - I’m a sophomore.

Seventeen and a junior, like Meg, but at different schools.

8. What is your magic form/what species are you?

Human, but genetically enhanced (by accident, not experiment) - I can instantaneously predict the outcomes of situations, mathematically, when I see them.

Enhanced human - I shatter glass when I sing or raise my voice.

Human with powers - I “disappear”/turn invisible in direct sunlight.

9. What does your human form look like?

Average height, fairly thin but not tiny, very straight black hair. I’m naturally quite pale but tan easily, which I hate.

I’m very, uh...fun-sized. As in: 4′ 11.” I’m pretty petite in general but sorta curvy; I have olive skin, suuuuuper curly brown hair (VERY ANNOYING TO MANAGE), and green eyes. People have told me I’m cute but I would prefer to strike fear into the hearts of mankind...maaaybe. ;)

I’m 5′ 10″ - that’s what people usually notice about me first. That, and that I always wear my hair waist-length and in a braid. Otherwise, I have brown eyes, bronze skin, and black hair.

10. What’s your aesthetic?

I don’t know if I have one, honestly. I like things to be neat and organized, though, so I guess it would be kind of minimalistic? I really like floral things, too.

Is chaos an aesthetic? I guess not. But if I had to choose...backstage in a theater on show night. That’s my place, my home, and I suppose my aesthetic too.

Orange. Anything and everything orange. Bright colors. Fruit. You get the idea.

11. Who’s your best friend?

Phoebe Vu. She’s the daughter of my parents’ oldest friends, so we grew up together - same school, same church, same everything for as long as we can remember. We’re both very nerdy, but in different ways - she does my computer science homework, I do her biology - and we’ve been doing everything together for so long that I couldn’t imagine my life without her.

Uh...maybe Cassidy Donnelly? She’s my best friend from theater. And I’ll never admit this, but I’ve got a soft spot for Alex Allende, a guy I’ve gone to school with for eleven years and pretend to hate but very obviously don’t, too. We don’t even really get along, but he knows me better than almost anyone.

At school, I have only one friend, Jeremy Waller - he, like I, doesn’t really fit into any other groups, so we hang out a lot. But in truth, it would really be my brother, Deb (short for Debaditya, which no one calls him because most people can’t pronounce it). He’s a year older and we try to bash each other’s heads in from time to time, because siblings, but we’re extremely close. No one matters more to me than he does.

12. Would you ever get a piercing/tattoo?

Nope. Not my thing.

Uh, maybe if I had to for a role? My ears are pierced, but otherwise no.

Sure, why not? I’d get, like, one of those cute miniature tattoos, but a piercing sounds painful.

13. When are you happiest?

My family and Phoebe’s used to go to a lake house somewhere up north together every summer, and we’d always take out a boat and go tubing and shove each other off the dock and night-swim - I miss those days. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier than I was at the lake. Other than that, when I finally grasp a difficult math concept - I’m pretty good at it, but I struggle sometimes, and finally getting a concept is one of the best feelings in the world.

When I’m performing. Musical theater has been my life since I was a little kid and I never feel quite the same as I do when I’m onstage, whether I’m in the chorus or belting out a solo - it’s where I feel most at home and alive.

When I’m trying something new. I’m very adventurous, and I hate monotony, so I’m always happiest when I’m doing something I’ve never tried before. Routine bores me - I need my dose of adventure.

14. What’s your biggest secret?

My ability (power? Do I have powers? I guess I do). I haven’t told anyone except Phoebe - I’m terrified of how my family would react if they knew.

15. What was your first impression of [each other]?

Author here: this is set a week after the rest of the things, after they’ve all met at a support group for enhanced kids.

Meg: I was a little taken aback by Diya’s enthusiasm - I’m kind of introverted, and she can be A LOT. I was impressed by Gigi’s confidence but a *little* weirded out by how blunt she could be.

Gigi: I thought Meg needed a hug (I was right) and admired that Diya could eat an entire box of Pop Tarts by herself - which was what she was doing when I first met her. Not very deep.

Diya: You know that meme where it’s, like, “I’ve only had (name) for a day, but if anything happened to her, I’d kill everyone in this room and then myself” (I’m paraphrasing here, so those aren’t the exact words)? That was me as soon as I met Meg. She is a PRECIOUS TRAUMATIZED BEAN (her parents kicked her out shortly before we met). My first impression of Gigi was “yup, she’s definitely in love with that Alex kid,” and I also noticed how extroverted and theatrical she was right away.

Yoharikos child? Omg! Yas pleaseee!

I mean idk if ur talking abt my YOU hane riko, but oki i havent talked about them in a while anyways! Also disclaimer: This is apart of the quote on quote, canonical events surrounding my next gen AU, so there is some(ahem, lots of) drama. (ESPECIALLY, regarding the relationships between you, yohane, and riko)

(if u dont want drama or any storyline, I suggest just scrolling to the end, where theres mostly just fluff)

(okay enough talking but like, there are SOME nsfw things, but not like, enough where its all about it.)

Yohane and Riko had twins; Yuuki Kuro Tsushima and Ryo Shiro Tsushima, Yuuki’s a girl, Ryo a boy.

Yuuki has almost impossibly good memory (Remembers everything back to the womb), and so she’s encountered times where it hurt her more than it helped her. She’s quite like Yoshiko, in a sense, she’s always very secretive on what she feels, closed off from the world for years.

Riko wasn’t aware that Yuuki and Ryo were Yoshiko’s, she figured they were You’s, as they had been dating, and she’d gotten prego at their after-party of the marriage. Yohane had dealt with extreme guilt from it, and was scarred (Hugely) because of her “mistake”.

Yoshiko chose their middle names, surprisingly, Riko and You didn’t know what they were, so Yoshiko chose them. Riko and You felt like they couldn’t raise both successfully (You mains a ship, so she’s not gonna be home often/Riko is a award winning pianist, so she wouldn’t be able to find time to give them all the necessary attention they need.) So, Yuuki was entrusted to Yoshiko.

Ryo had inherited Yoshiko’s violet eyes, but You had concluded it was because her father too had violet eyes.

Yuuki, and her infinite memory, remembers every single detail about the drama, and she’s kind of mentally unstable due to the trauma, she felt like she aged way before she was even born. She’s pretty quiet, especially regarding family and such, she acts confident and mature, but really, she’s fragile, scared and yearning for her family to bind together.

Ryo, Riko, and You are all completely oblivious to everything, they have the perfect life, pretty much. Ryo isn’t even aware of his few minutes older sister.

Yoshiko had raised Yuuki mainly in New York, she was only in her early twenty’s when Yuuki was born, and she needed an escape from her other family, so she participated in a university there. In her absence, Yoshiko was constantly trying to find someone to fill the empty role that she knew Yuuki deserved, guilt ridden and stress-filled. She went through thirteen exes, half of them didn’t like Yuuki, the others couldn’t get through Yuuki to bond with.

Riko and You, for the entire 17 years they didn’t see Yoshiko, or Yuuki, they worried. They were ready to reunite with their (or, Riko’s,) daughter, and to raise her like they should have.

Yoshiko tries her very best, to give Yuuki a good life, that is, and always will be, her top priority. She’s built up a video game company to give Yuuki a luxurious life, and to have something to entertain her, and, as much attention she could give, there was never a day in Yuuki’s life where she was yelled at. She just wants the best for her daughter, even if she wasn’t her legal mom. Both of them are pretty closed off from the world because of their family.

When Riko heard of the news of her daughter and her daughter’s “father” returning, she was really happy. So happy, she hadn’t even realized that her giddiness wasn’t from seeing her daughter all grown up, it was from the thought of seeing Yoshiko again. She was yearning for Yoshiko, when she thought it was Yuuki.

Upon realizing this, Riko had a huge relationship crisis. She didn’t understand why the feeling of Yoshiko returning, possibly into her arms, made her so happy and heart-aching. She was confused with every feeling for Yoshiko.

You, herself, was guilty. She slept with Chika, a year after their marriage, they were all drunk, but Riko said it was okay, well, until they found out Chika was 6 months pregnant. The scars are long gone, however.

When the two bluettes finally returned home, Riko and You were both extremely confused at Yuuki’s striking resemblance to Yoshiko. They shrug it off, thinking of it as another genetic thing. They were also surprised at Yoshiko’s large growth spurt (Riko, who drank stress-coffee all the fucking time, stopped growing and is now shorter than her fellow second years.) who was, now the same height as You, who was the third tallest in Aqours.

Yuuki, for the longest time, only referred to every Aqours member (Save papako) by their last or full name. They all were weirded out at it, especially You and Riko.

Yuuki and kotoumi kid 2, Kameko, get along like NozoEli gets along. Kameko is the only one that’s not apart of the drama that is aware of the drama. She’s pretty much the only one who see’s the fragile side of Yuuki, the one who’s been bottling up her emotions for years.

The longer Riko was around with Yoshiko near, or alone with her thoughts, Riko’s mind was subconsciously dreaming of Yoshiko, her heart ached extremely for her, Riko felt her body boiling with jealousy when Yoshiko was around someone who wasn’t her, and she still didn’t know why. Said girl, unfortunately, still can’t look or think about Riko clearly. She can’t get over her guilt, and her crush. This makes a huge gap between the two parents.

Ryo was shook when Riko and You told him about Yuuki, and their siblingship. Yuuki was partially smug.

Yuuki and Riko had a somewhat strange relationship; Yuuki, with her memory, was constantly dropping hints to her true lineage for Riko, and her true love.

Riko finally realized her feelings when she saw the messages exchanged between Yoshiko and her at the time current girlfriend, she realized upon realizing how she wished that girl was her, and how she wished she was all Yoshiko looked at and felt about. She had a long night of crying to herself because of it.

The closest the two got to one another when the intimacy was high and the tension was tense, they ended up passionately kissing due to it. Yoshiko broke the tension, and romance, from fear of destroying You and Riko’s relationship, and their family. Riko had a break down after it.

The third years were the first in Aqours besides Yoshiko to realize the drama, and then it was Chika, then the first years, then finally You and Riko.

You and Riko’s relationship was in absolute jeopardy after the realization. It got worse when Riko and Yoshiko got drunk and almost fucked, again. They were in mid-make out in bed when You, now sobered up, caught them. They divorced shortly after, it was for the best.

(heres the fluff and stuff)

When Riko and Yoshiko finally got together, as should be, Yuuki, was, not exaggerating, a fucking happy ball of tears. She was suuuper happy, she cried every morning for a week. Her dream had finally come true.

Ryo was a bit shook from the change, but adjusted quickly, he found himself happier than ever, like a piece of himself was lost and found without knowing.

Yoshiko and Yuuki felt like the burden finally lifted off their shoulders, and felt far more freedom than ever. Still, they had a hard time adjusting to the new change, and the new ability to open up and vent to their family, but Riko and Ryo had their backs.

Since then, Yuuki has taken some form of a chuunibyo (Ryo too) and now Riko can’t tell if she should be regretting it or not (But secretly she’s quite fond of the resemblance.).

Ryo and Yuuki, being siblings, and twins, have some extreme competitions between one another. Whether it be who could play piano with no mistakes the fastest, or who could finish eating the fastest. Ryo is the stronger one, while Yuuki is easily the faster one.

Riko wakes them all up, first, and always, is Yoshiko, then she wakes up Yuuki (Who, like herself, is a light sleeper.) then she wakes up the hibernating bear that is Ryo. She often has to turn on all the lights, take off his blankets, and dump water on him. Every. Single. Day.

They’re good friends with the Sonoda’s (Yoshiko and Umi are like sister and older sister), so they often have dinner with them on Fridays. Yuuki is the oldest one so she takes pride in always being the one to babysit them (Even though all credit should be sent to the third oldest one, Ukio, he IS the mom of the damn pack.)

Yoshiko is your classic overprotective dad-mom, she’s aware of the popularity her daughter gets because of her job and success, which means she gets a lot, and a lot, of love letters, mostly from gold-diggers. So yeah, when Yuuki questions why all of the letters are gone the next day, they were burnt in the 9th Circle of Hell.

Riko and Yoshiko are both undeniably, tooth rotting fluffy, romantics. They are REALLY soft, and sweet to one another. Not only, has the variety of pet names expanded, the overdose of fluff increased. In the morning, they cuddle in bed when the kids aren’t up, and before breakfast Yoshiko’s always hugging Riko from behind, her chin on her shoulder, and sometimes feed each other. They aren’t married, but they act like they’re already on their honeymoon. It was, really vomit-inducing (Says Yuuki).

The biggest fight the duo had was when Riko found out that before they got together, Yoshiko slept with several other girls in her absence. Yoshiko didn’t even know what was wrong about it, the drama was still there and they hadn’t even reunited at the time. But then again it all clicked when she realized there was a chance of STD and getting another girl pregnant during that time. THANKFULLY, their worries weren’t true. Though Riko has Yoshiko put on a condom here and there for safety (I mean how the fuck would she get Riko preggo, wheres the logic)

Yoshiko, nowadays, has more of a Dia-aura. Serious but kind and dedicated. Dia is proud, to say the least.

Yuuki and Ryo have different bedrooms, Yuuki’s is in more dark colors (She likes dark blue), while Ryo’s is more pastel. They fight over the bathroom that connects their bedrooms, though.

The two are both your reliable senpai, they inherit the smarts and maturity of Riko (When they’re in public). It hurts how Yoshiko has three people who are at a constant rate of correcting every little thing she does (Yuuki does it because she knows how annoying it is, Ryo does it just cause, and Riko because her OCD won’t allow it.).

Yuuki and Ryo worked at 7-Eleven for quite some time because Yoshiko refused to give them the latest video game that Yoshiko’s brand released for free, and both of them reaaaally wanted it, so that’s how they worked at the same 7-Eleven Riko part-timed at for a full two months.

The two once walked in on Yoshiko and Riko having some (Very) heated sex, all of them couldn’t look one another in the eyes for a while after that.

Ryo, as the council vice president, is pretty close with Ukio, who’s the council president. Yuuki jokingly said she’d start a reelection to become president and accidentally set off a real reelection for council president. She was president for a week before she returned the role to Ukio.

Yuuki is a natural at piano, but mains the violin and guitar. Ryo plays piano and the flute.

There was a time where Riko had accidentally scheduled two recitals at the same time, so Yoshiko ended up dying her hair and changing her hairstyle to look like Riko’s. The only issue was the huge height difference, and stature. Riko’s body was far more feminine while Yoshiko had that serious business person look. You and Yoshiko often worked out too (They surprisingly got along well like they used to, despite the whole ordeal.) so both of them were pretty bulky. So at the start of the recital Yuuki was a Riko-copy, then when the curtains closed swapped with Yoshiko, who actually played (Apparently Tsushima’s are natural pianists.). Yoshiko and Yuuki were teased for their red hair for a while until they finally were able to remove it.

Yuuki is a huge prankster, and no one knows it other than her family and friends. She’s the cool mature senpai, no one would believe it if she pulled that prank and dropped a water bucket onto Koizumi-sensei. Ryo berates her after.

They once went to Universal Studios in LA. Riko and Ryo relied a lot on their English-speaking-able bluettes to get around and be a translator. Yoshiko’s accent is pretty well hidden (She was in New York for a full 18 years, her English has gotten really well since then, practically can rival Mari.)

Yuuki was born on New Years, at 11:39 PM, while Ryo was a day after at 12:03 AM Jan 2nd. They, along with Dia, celebrate their birthdays till 1AM so they get Ryo’s day as well. It’s a fun time for everyone.

Actually, all of their birthdays are absolute bangers. They play all their old songs as idols, and get blackout drunk (Which is why they have the real party separate from the kids.). They think they don’t know, but Yuuki knows everything.
