Just something about reading Harry Potter.

For the first time you read it, you go through a whirlpool of emotions, the characters you were rooting for die, the number of events that happen, etc, that just shape you in a way.

However, the next time you read it, you encounter the characters all over again. You understand them all over again.

You understand Snape's resentment to Harry.

You understand that Petunia still loved Lily even though she denied it.

You understand the lengths Snape went through to protect Harry.

You meet Sirius Black. You meet Remus Lupin. You meet Peter Pettigrew. You meet James Potter. You meet the Marauders.

You meet Ron, Hermione, Harry. You meet Draco, Narcissa, Andromeda. You meet Molly, Arthur, Tonks. You meet those who sacrificed themselves, you meet those who've been so changed and altered by the events that took place, they're almost unrecognisable. You meet those who lived to tell their tales.

And you meet the people you hate — Umbridge, Fudge, Pettigrew, Lucius Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, Parkinson.

You meet so many people, you form so many relationships — you love some of these people, and you hate some of these people.

The first time you read Harry Potter? The emotions you feel are of hope, of happiness, of a childish innocence.

The second time you read it, however? You are filled with longing, a yearning, a dread for all the lives lost that you cannot save, that you cannot bring back. You've matured now, and you know what will happen next.

You are filled with a sense of home for what would never be.

And the next time you read it, the same emotions conflict you. You feel a sense of love, laughter, happiness, joy, mourning, grief, yearning, loathing... you feel a sense of home, a sense of love, a sense of warmth.

Just like Harry did at Hogwarts.

Things Without Remedy - chapter 31 update

Chapter 31 excerpt, from the trial of Draco Malfoy:

The questions went on for another two hours, at the end of which a great number of highly personal facts about Draco’s life were recorded in court transcripts.

Yes, he could actually perform Legilimency without a wand. No, he didn’t use that power except when absolutely necessary, or with explicit permission. Why? Because he didn’t want to hurt people unless he was forced to, and because most people’s minds were exceptionally boring. 

Yes, he had fought at the Battle of Hogwarts, if defensive spells and a couple of Confunded giants counted as fighting. He gave a partial list of the lives he thought he might’ve saved—Potter, his own younger self, Goyle, Tonks, Lupin, Arthur Weasley, and a whole host of other people whose names he didn’t know—but couldn’t say for certain because time travel was complicated that way. 

No, he couldn’t really explain how the Time Turner worked and they’d have to ask Granger if they wanted a better explanation than “a time-bendy Floo connection.” 

No, he had never, and would never, Imperius Hermione Granger. Why? Because he would never betray her trust like that. Ever since she was tortured on the floor of Malfoy Manor thirteen years ago, the night he’d stood there and done nothing, he’d only ever wanted to protect her. At first from himself, and then from everyone and everything that threatened her. 

Yes, he was actually very much in love with her, and no, he hadn’t given her any Amortentia to make her say the same. She had said the same? Yes, he’d believed her when she told him, but it was nice to hear it when he knew she couldn’t lie anyway.

Granger had saved him once again, by turning him into such a sappy idiot that the jurors couldn’t help but smile.

What do you think happens to Slytherins after Hogwarts? The ones who, unlike Malfoy, can't throw their parents names around and escape all trouble. The Wizarding World is tiny, so I imagine the stigma follows them into adulthood real easy, especially with the whole thing with Voldemort likely intensifying it tenfold, do you bet they'd be way more subject to suspicion and totally legal searches by the aurors where they conveniently find something to toss them in Azkaban over?

Well, remember that many of the Slytherins were not Death Eaters.

Draco was the youngest Death Eater to be inducted in. Crabbe and Goyle got high on a prefect power trip but weren't actually Death Eaters who had taken the mark at that point. The other students seem to have less and less involvement than even that (it was pretty much Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle throughout the series that were the super Slytherin Slytherins).

So, reasonably, Draco's the only one going to trial if at all. Considering all the other people who have to go to trial who did a lot worse things, including his own father who is a much juicer target, it's not surprising he got off the hook (that, and Harry thinks he owes him because of Narcissa).

Crabbe probably would have gotten a trial for dark magic voodoo arson, but his dark magic voodoo arson killed him so he gets to rot in hell.

That leaves the rest of the kiddos.

Goyle was high on a power trip, but it was also under order of the Carrows, and while Wizarding Britain could go nuts trying to try underage collaborationists that'd get... very messy... and likely shortly lead to a third wizarding war.

Pansy Parkinson tried to capture Harry for the glory points, but that makes her even less of a collaborationist than Harry so I don't expect anything to have happened to her.

And that's it, that's all we got who even aided the Death Eaters. So Daphne Greengrass, Blaise Zabini, all of them didn't do anything themselves and presumably weren't even involved.

Now, we do have some dirt on their parents. Nott's dad, known Death Eater. Greengrass's father, not a Death Eater but involved in incriminating activities per the fandom wiki, Lucius Malfoy, always a gem, and of course Crabbe and Goyle Sr. proud Death Eaters.

The reason I'm getting into this is that the kids of the parents involved in this, if they're not dead already (see Crabbe), then they're probably losing a good chunk of their money over this and get a stigma with the family name.

And that's where your ask comes in.

It was already bad in Slytherin, you have Hagrid noting casually "25% of the population is irredeemably evil" to Harry like it's a known fact, and that's before Voldemort was resurrected, but for the kids with the black mark on the last name it'll be even worse.

Probably in the aftermath there'll be attempts to um, rehabilitate Slytherin, so the new kids will have to stay on their toes but won't get it quite as bad.

This generation getting out though, well, I love Cursed Child so I will discuss it and note that Scorpius Malfoy's life is ruined over the rumor that his mother went back in time to have sex with Voldemort and he is their love child.

Is this in any way believable? No.

Do I believe something like this could ruin their lives? Yes.

Basically, Malfoy especially, will all be living on Harry (head of the Auror department's) good will and whether or not he doesn't feel like searching their house today (this is not absent in canon either, when Arthur Weasley promotes a low, that does pass, that um... lets them search certain people's houses without warrant).

So, yes, they're going to have a fun time.

Through Love And By Love (Pt. 11)

Summary: Twenty-Two years ago, Draco Malfoy used the imperius curse to slow Voldemort’s rise to power. No good deed goes unpunished. Warning: this series contains mature subject matter surrounding use of the imperius curse, discussions of trauma and mental illness; reader discretion advised.

Part 10

The wedding guests are ushered out. Any remaining children are banished to the upper levels of Malfoy manor, the curtains are drawn, doors locked and windows sealed. Only their closest family and friends are invited to stay.

Leo, while technically not barred from their meeting in their dining room, senses that she is not welcome there.

If she joins her siblings, they will want answers she doesn’t have. Instead she plops down on the couch in the sitting room, her wedding dress still intact. They’ll have to cancel their trip. No honeymoon until after this is sorted.

Henry finds her, kicking off his shoes and joining his wife on the sofa, a single parcel in hand. “That was one hell of a grand finale, huh?”

“Don’t,” Leo mutters.

“I knew what I was marrying into, you know?“ He laughs, “I’m not running away.”

She nods, resting her head against his shoulder.

“Brought you this.” He shakes the offering at her, “top of the gift pile. I figure you could open just one, might make you feel better.”

“You open it.” Leo says, tiredly.

“Alright.” He agrees, tearing open the brown wrapping. It’s a rather old, decrepit looking box that flips open of its own accord. “Family heirloom?” Henry guesses, lifting the glass encased gold sphere carefully by the chain.

Leo reaches for it in disbelief, “who did this come from?”

“Dunno, there’s no note.” Henry tips the box upside down, just to be sure.

“I need to tell my parents.” Leo decides, they’ll know what to do.

Henry shoots her a patient grin. “I’ll be here.”

When Leo reaches the dining room it is occupied, but no Draco and no Rosanna. She can gauge the seriousness of their situation based upon how the members of her parent’s inner circle have broken off into groups.

Hermione, Ron, Crabbe. Blaise and Pansy with Harry and Ginny. Both sets of Leo’s grandparents huddled with Molly and Arthur Weasley.

When her mother’s friends intermingle with her father’s friends, for any extended period of time, something is terribly wrong.

“Where’s my mum?” She asks Goyle, who’s closest to the doorway.

“Draco took her, down the hall, that way.” The man points. He knows better than to interrupt whatever it is they’re doing.

“Thank you.” Leo excuses herself. Taking off down the long corridor, until she hears the telltale hissing of whispers, behind the door of her father’s study.

She silences the door hinge and eases it open, just enough to see inside. The first thing she notices is the strange glow surrounding her parents. A thin string of light moves around them, weaving across their bodies, tethering them together.

“I’ve killed before,” Draco breathes. Back at Hogwarts, the death eaters on the stairs, all those years ago. “I’ll do it again, to protect what is mine. If that makes me a monster, so be it.”

The light tightens around Rosanna, holding her taut.

“You’re not a monster.”

“To you,” the words fall heavy from his lips. “I’m not a monster to you, Rosanna.” He closes any distance between them, catching her chin with his thumb and forefinger. “If I did not love you, I would snuff out your insufferable need to defy me and carve my name into your soul.”

Rosanna does not flinch, makes no move to pull away. Fists clenched at her sides, wanting to reach for him and then stopping herself.

“Instead, I spend my days tracing freckles across the bridge of your nose. That is what you do to me.” Draco swallows, hard. All those years spent wrapped up in her sweet, pretty, love made him weak. “I cannot afford to be weak at the expense of your safety, or that of our children.”

“I agree, we can’t be lax anymore. But the last time there was a dark mark in the sky, it was you and me against the world. It doesn’t have to be like that this time. Not when there are people in the next room holding out their hands and saying, ‘let me help you.’”

“Have it your way. But when that fails, I will personally raze this assailant and you will not try to stop me. Do you understand?”

“Yes.” Rosanna breathes.

And then he is kissing her, hard on the mouth, hands lost in her hair.

Leo’s seen enough, stumbling back out the door, the heel of her shoe catches on the floorboard, drawing her parent’s attention. The light vanishes as they break apart. She wonders, idly, if it still connects them, invisibly somehow.

“Leo,” Rosanna stammers, all flushed cheeks and wide eyes, “we thought you were-“

“If you’re quite finished, there’s something I need to show you.” Leo clears her throat, producing the time turner.

The time turner is eventually traced back to Rabastan Lestrange. He’d been released from Azkaban, after serving his sentence, only to be taken back into custody for illegal possession of a magical artifact.

Arresting him was simple enough, routine even. He’s currently in a holding cell at the ministry, awaiting questioning.

Rosanna is in her office, prepping for the interrogation. Normally Draco would be there to settle her nerves. Instead he’s off with Harry, searching Rabastan’s loft for other magical contraband.

“Rosanna,” her intern, Delphi, knocks once at the door. “May I come in?”

“Of course.” Rosanna waves her over, “I brought us some iced coffee and scones.”

“I’m supposed to be the one going on coffee runs, not you.” Delphi says, pointedly.

“Well I’m stressed.” Rosanna explains, “and when I’m stressed, I eat. You know you’re always welcome to join me.”

Dephi’d told her, when she first started working for her, that she had no family to speak of. Her boss has gone above and beyond ever since.

“Come sit, I only have a few minutes to stuff my face. Let’s go over those proposals you were telling me about.” Rosanna holds out a hand, brushing a bit of crumbs from her fingers.

Delphi slinks over, gnawing at her bottom lip as she delivers the folder full of parchment. Rosanna scans the pages throughly with her brows knit together. “Most of them are just-“

“Delphi, these are really good.” Rosanna tells her.

“You think so?” The younger woman tries not to sound too hopeful.

“You know, my kids don’t really have any interest in the ministry. I worried that people your age and younger might not want to work here. It’s nice to see you take an interest in all of this, gives me hope.”

Just then, the watch charmed to Rosanna’s wrist sounds, an alarm for her next appointment.

“Shoot, I have to run.” Rosanna swipes a napkin over her mouth. “Do I still have chocolate on me?”

Delphi shakes her head. “You’re perfect.”

Rosanna moves to her feet, “help yourself while I’m gone.”

Delphi nods. “Thank you, Rosanna. For everything.”

Rabastan is being held on the third floor, one of the lower levels, near the courtrooms. Rosanna takes the elevator down. Taking a deep breath, she uses her wand clearance to gain access to the interrogation room.

The man in question is slumped over the table, still sporting his tattered Azkaban jumpsuit.

“Good morning, Rabastan, my name is Rosanna Malfoy, head of this interrogation. Do you have any questions before we begin?” She affords him the same courtesy she would any other suspect.

He huffs, “good morning, Mrs. Malfoy, it’s lovely to see you again.” He remembers her well, the skittish little thing she was at eighteen, sat near the head of Voldemort’s table.

“I’m going to begin assessing your mind for information that will be useful in this investigation, surely you’re familiar with legillimacy.”

"Your mind tricks won't work on me." Lestrange is nothing if not entertained by her attempts to penetrate his memories.

"I've been doing this a long time." Rosanna arches a brow at his cockiness. She just needs to focus, she's performed successful sessions on the world's most skilled occlumens.

"Go on then, it'll hurt you more than me." He chuckles.

"What makes you so sure?" Rosanna demands, her head aches, what is he doing to her?

"You've got a little," he motions to the underside of her nose.

Rosanna swipes her sleeve over the trickle of blood that’s escaped her nostril. Smearing some of the remains over her cupids bow.

Rabastan licks his lips. “Your magic is bound to the Malfoy family, who are bound to the Black’s, who are bound to me.” He sneers at her, “it’s all one big, twisted, circle. This is what happens when the pretty half blood becomes a death eater’s whore. You have no knowledge of pureblood traditions.” He taps his nose once more, she's still bleeding. A steady flow of droplets gather near her full lips. "Might want to have that checked out."

Rosanna ignores him, pressing on. “Tell me about the time turner. Where’d you get it?”

“There's a reason people think you've carried the dark lord's child." Lestrange muses, basking in the company of his interrogator. "It's a bit like telephone; did you ever play that as a child? Things tend to get mixed up as they go down the line. So let me tell you what the truth is, from someone close to the source. The dark lord did father a child. He spoke about it regularly, to those of us who weren't disgraced like the Malfoy scum. The child, was meant to reign at his side. A perfect prodigy, and he would hide it in plain sight. Right in the manor," Rabastan reaches for her.

"Don't touch me." Rosanna backs away.

"All this time you didn't know? Didn't you wonder why he was so sweet on you?" He turns his head to the side, taunting her. "Why he didn't come down on the Malfoys with an iron fist, when you let Potter escape? The baby was his. His seed, the mixture of light and dark magic, more powerful than the world has ever known."

"I'm not sure what Voldemort told you, or why, but he lied."

"Are you absolutely sure about that?" Rabastan asks. "You were under the imperius curse. So how can you say, without a doubt, that an unfamiliar didn't enter your bed using polyjuice?"

"Draco would have noticed." He would've known.

"So you were never alone then, even for a few moments?" The man blinks up at her.

"Leo is Draco's, that's what I know." Rosanna looks down at her notes, preparing to move on to the next subject.

"Because she looks like him? You think the most powerful wizard of all time couldn’t have charmed her to look however he pleased?" Lestrange is sure Voldemort's magic would hold, even in death.

"Voldemort hid behind his followers," Rosanna turns her back to him. "He wasn't powerful, but he was smart, the Horcruxes were hard to find; even harder to destroy."

"And what is a child besides the ultimate Horcrux? To have a piece of you live on, a piece of your soul."

Rosanna's done with the rambling. "So you get Leo to use the time turner and it takes her to Voldemort. Then what?" She rests her lips against steepled fingers.

"Then what?" He laughs. "Then he'd know Draco was unworthy and unable to keep you under his thumb. That the bastard was going to betray him. The dark lord would have his head."

"Even if Voldemort was Leo’s father and he thought I was working against him...he would've cut her out of me.” Rosanna says, cooly.

Draco and Harry return to the ministry with all the evidence they need to close the case against Rabastan.

Lestrange had a collection of objects, all stolen, most of which belonging to Draco’s wife. His flat was a shrine of sorts, to Rosanna, who he believes to have birthed Voldemort’s only living heir.

Draco wants him dead and he wastes no time in tracking down his wife, still hole up in the interrogation room. Hermione is pacing in front of it nervously, staring down at her watch.

A pained scream erupts from within.

"How long's she been at it?" Draco demands as he comes to a stop in front of Hermione.

"Malfoy-" Hermione jolts upright.

"Everyone knows one hour is the limit. One hour and she's out of there!" Draco roars. A few passers by stop to see what caused the outburst, before moving on, with their eyes on the floor.

"Keep your voice down," Hermione hushes him.

"You remember what happened last time. Don't you care?" The last time his wife peered too deeply into another person’s mind, she nearly lost her own.

"Of course I do, but this case-"

"I don't give a damn about the case," Draco cuts her off, "let me into that room."

"I can't do that." She blocks his path.

Another frustrated howl.

"She's going to hurt herself," Draco rakes a hand through his disheveled hair.

Rosanna stumbles from the room, crimson spots staining her coral blouse. She presses her fingers together over her nostrils to settle the bleeding.

"Damn you," Draco snarls, whipping the handkerchief from his breast pocket. Despite his anger, Draco rushes to her aid. His hands gentle, cradling the back of her blonde head, as he holds the silken material firmly to her nose.

“Draco-”

“Save it.”

“Please, I know you’re mad, but he wouldn’t let me leave. He told me our magic was bound but I thought he was lying.” Rosanna clutches her head in agony.

Draco draws back from her, slightly, walking her carefully toward the wall and helping her sit there. “Granger, I need you to sit with her for a moment.”

“Of course,” Hermione crouches down, in front of her friend.

Rabastan is still sat at the table, held in place by the magical restraints on his chair. He looks up as the door opens, long, greasy, black hair hanging in his eyes. “Mrs. and Mr. Malfoy all in one day? To what do I owe the pleasure?”

“What did you do to her?” Draco demands, No time for his games.

“What you should have.” The response is short, cutting Draco to the quick.

Draco leaves the room, as quickly as he came. Tapping Hermione’s shoulder to move aside so he can tend to his wife. “Rosanna, I need you to listen to me.”

She nods, choking down the bile in her throat.

“I’m going to take of you.”

Again she nods, feeling him tug one of the hands clutching her head free. Something blindingly hot skates across her flesh. They’ve apparated back to Draco’s office and he flicks the lock on the door shut. “Ahh.” Everything hurts. Tugging her insides in different directions. Tearing her apart.

“I know, darling. I’m sorry. Try to relax for me.” Draco soothes, slicing open the palm of his own hand and clasping their wounds together, tightly.

“Lestrange said something-” she breaks off, brain pounding loudly against her skull, as if it were trying to escape.

“It should’ve been done years ago, that was my mistake.” Draco frowns down at their entwined fingers. “My father warned me but I was blind to the dangers. Forgive me.”

“What?” She croaks out.

“You can be bound to a pureblood family, or to a specific witch or wizard. It’s very old magic, outdated traditions. I never intended to hold you to them.”

Rosanna begins to argue, “I never said I didn’t want to be yours.”

“I asked you a long time ago, what you wanted to be. You told me that above all else you wanted to be free. I tried to give you that and I hate to take it from you now.” Draco lives to spoil her, to give, rarely to take.

“I have to give you my magic?”

“For once in your life, Rosanna, I will need full submission. I never wanted this, but Lestrange has his hooks in you. He’s trying to bind your magic to him, then he controls it, therefore he controls you. He was unable to complete the ritual, that’s why you’re in pain.”

“Fuck.”

“Tell me, now.” He doesn’t need her blessing, not after all these years; but he wants it. His magic is greedy for hers, to touch it, to claim it, to feel it from the inside. “What would you have me do?”

“Just do it, Draco,” Rosanna agrees.

Ron Weasley and Tracey Davis became friends and bonded over the fact that they were both outcasts of their house and year: Ron being a blood traitor and Tracey the only non-pure-blood—she was a half-blood.

Theodore Nott only befriended Tracey and Ron because his cousin, Daphne Greengrass, was friends with Tracey. It wasn’t until Ron took the blame for a faulty potion in Theo’s place, did he become genuine with his friendship.

Daphne’s favorite aspect of Ron when they first met was his height.

Ron’s drive to do great in his studies came from Professor Snape comparing him to his twin brothers Fred and George Weasley.

Ron didn’t receive detention for throwing up all over Professor Snape’s robes back in his first year.

Ron secretly enjoyed potions because he didn’t need to use his second-hand wand.

Ron went to Theo to look for the perfect Christmas gifts for Tracey and Daphne.

Tracey once cracked a joke that Ron would marry young; something he did in fact do, marrying at the age of 18.

Daphne and Ron both saw the same thing in the Mirror of Erised: To feel loved and accepted by their families.

Theo unintentionally gave Draco Malfoy the idea to call Ron: “Weasel”

It was Tracey’s idea to get Ron a new chess set for Christmas.

Fred and George were the first of Ron’s siblings to meet his friends; the meeting ended in disaster.

Ron’s first muggle song he ever listened to was “Take On Me” by A-ha.

Ron, Tracey, Daphne and Theo were dubbed the “Silver Quartet” by Slytherin Prefect Gemma Farley.

Theo instigated the events that led to Ron trying out for the Hogwarts Chess Club.

Daphne was the one who came up with the idea of creating a grimoire with her friends. She created it after the quartet was caught using Professor Snape’s copy of Advanced Potions and they wanted a copy of his notes. Throughout their time in school, the quartet would document much of their magical findings, notes and theories into the grimoire.

Professor Snape only found out the quartet had his book because Ron and Theo were once playing around with new spells, and Theo used Sectumsempra on Ron. Ron was stuck in the Hospital wing for three days.

Daphne, Theo and Tracey didn’t find out about Ron’s birthday until fifteen days after the fact on Daphne’s birthday.

Ron hated his summer after his first year because of all the snake jokes the twins made.

Tracey’s favorite movie is “Empire of the Sun” when she showed the rest of the quartet however, they were terrified for a while of muggles and how they engage in war. 

Ron started lying about his trips to meet the Hogwarts Chess club at Greengrass Manor when he overheard Molly and Arthur question Ron’s friendship with Theo. They didn’t approve of the friendship because Theo’s father was a convicted Death Eater.

Ron lied and said he was visiting Tracey’s family, when instead he had been going over to Daphne’s home to practice chess with the Chess club; as Daphne’s father was the Mentor and Sponsor of the Club.

Ginny Weasley only tattled on Ron because he chose to go to a Chess club meeting rather than play gobstones with her.

Ron’s first school crush was Gemma Farley, which only developed because of the time he spent playing chess with her.

Ron and Tracey only started studying and practicing legilimency and occlumency after Ron made a joke about Professor Snape being a mind reader.

Daphne started seeing Ron as something more than her obnoxious friend in her second year, when he saved her from getting pelted by boiling solution—solution that only erupted after the Golden Trio threw a firecracker in Greggory Goyle’s cauldron.

Ron has nightmares after his duel with Professor Gilderoy Lockhart. He was traumatized after using the spell “legilimens” on the Professor, prompting Ron to witness visions of Professor Lockhart tormenting and obliviating many witches and wizards to steal their works and adventures for himself.

Ron almost cried when he thought his family wouldn’t come to his national chess tournament. He did cry when he saw his parents and siblings in the crowd cheering him on.

The first thing Ron bought with his prize money from winning his national chess tournament was ice cream for him and his friends (he would have bought for his siblings but his parents told him no, preferring that he save his money).

It took Bill Weasley three hours to decipher and disenchant the ogham runic formula that Ron used to lock  Fred and George inside of a pyramid vault.

Arthur went behind Molly’s back to allow Ron to travel to the United States for his International Chess Tournament.

Ron’s curiosity of muggle war history derived from his time watching “Empire of the Sun”. This eventually led to him signing up to take Muggle Studies Class.

Ron was the only one of his siblings to take Magical Theory Class. His time studying in the class led to his discovery on how to wield telepathy through the use of legilimency.

In his third year, Ron thought his boggart would be a spider. However, it turned out to be Professor Lockhart attempting to curse and obliviate him. 

Ron bought his very first, self-owned wand in America.

Draco stopped bullying Ron after Ron threw himself in front of Draco when the two were cornered by Sirius Black.

Ron only learned the truth of his pet Scabbers being the unregistered animagi and death eater, Peter Pettigrew, from Theo who had seen the man visit Nott Manor after his father’s breakout from Azkaban in their fifth year.

Ron’s favorite elective class was Magical Theory with Professor Sinestra. He enjoyed the lack of wand use, and having an entire class with self directed studying.

The Silver Quartet once got at least three weeks worth of detention from Professor Snape for coming back from a Hogsmeade visit drunk.

Ron and Daphne couldn’t eat beans for a week after Theo compared them to Doxy droppings.

It was Ron who gave Daphne the idea to formulate a way to imbue magical nuance into musical notes; in an effort to produce a “cursed” or “enchanted”  song that magically affected those who heard its tune. Theo gave Daphne the idea to use Ludovico Einaudi’s song “Nuvole Bianche”.

Both Fred and George were warned about Leprechaun gold ahead of their bet with Ludo Bagman by Ron. They didn’t listen, instead getting cheated by Bagman and losing all their savings. 

Ron refused to wear the dress robes his mother got him for the Yule Ball. Instead, asking Daphne to show him what to wear and what to buy the next time they went to Hogsmeade. He did this to not only purchase his own new robes, but to also ask Daphne to go with him to the Yule Ball as his date.

Draco couldn’t stop looking at Ron and Daphne at the Yule Ball. Pansy didn’t know that he was admiring both of them.

Ron only agreed to accept Winky as his house elf in exchange for explaining how to access the Come and Go Room, which he found when he asked Winky to help him escape Argus Filch once, back in his fourth year.

Ron once gained approximately fifty thousand galleons in a month after he and the quartet looted the Room of Hidden Things and sold almost all of the lost items and treasures in the room.

Tracey unknowingly possessed one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes. She found Ravenclaw’s Diadem in the Room of Hidden Things when she and the quartet looted the room. She was also the only person to have worn the diadem and successfully use it for its original purpose after successfully defending herself from the visions shown to her by the horcrux. She used the diadem to discover how to replicate portraiture magic: the magic used to animate a portrait, similar to those of the Headmasters of Hogwarts.

Ron, Tracey and Daphne initially didn’t want to believe that Lord Voldemort had returned. It was Theo who told them to keep an open mind and eye out for any and all.

Ron cried when Percy disowned his family, hugging him to get him to stay. Percy pushed him off however, causing Fred and Ginny to chase him out the door, while Molly and George comforted Ron.

Ron hated his time in 12 Grimmauld Place. His only solace being in either the library researching old magics or in the tapestry room where he stared at the burn marks by the name of his paternal grandmother Cedrella Weasley née Black. A fellow Slytherin and Weasley. Ron faintly idolized her because he felt connected to her personally through his sorting.

Tracey was the only Slytherin to be offered a spot in Dumbledore's Army. When Ron asked his siblings about joining after she revealed the offer, they lied to him about such a group existing.

Theo gave the quartet the idea to use the Chamber of Secrets as their new secret hang out spot after Dumbledore’s Army began occupying the Come and Go Room.

Ron and Theo harvested much of the dead basilisk in the Chamber. Garnering a profit of almost a hundred thousand galleons on the magical Black Market.

Daphne was the only person not born a parseltongue to uncover how to speak, translate and even write in parseltongue.

The Silver Quartet were the first in centuries to uncover lost histories and tomes concerning Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin; things including their brief affair and their mutual competition for knowledge. All of which are revealed in Slytherin’s manuscripts found in the Chamber.

The first spell Ron ever invented was “sanguisuga”, the leeching spell. When casted on another living being, a grey beam of magic attaches to the caster’s opponent. It begins to leech their opponent of their energy. The strength of the drain depends on the endurance and stamina of the caster.

The Silver Quartet as well as Draco, Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini both joined forces in challenging High Inquisitor Umbridge’s Inquisitorial Squad, who tormented much of the Hogwarts student body. They performed numerous pranks to instigate chaos and disorder, in retaliation for Umbridge’s use of blood quills. 

Ron only reconciled with Molly after their fight on Christmas Eve because of Daphne. Daphne’s parents were murdered by Voldemort in front of Ron and Daphne, and seeing the event caused Daphne to want Ron to keep his parents in his life.

Ron used muggle makeup given to him by Tracey and glamor charms to conceal his dark mark. 

Ron hated that he never suffered from nightmares of the Christmas night where he, Daphne and the Greengrasses (excluding Astoria who had escaped capture) were kidnapped.

Ron initially intended for the Greengrass sisters to stay at Hogwarts in either the Come and Go Room or the Chamber of Secrets throughout the summer hols, but Daphne refused, fearing Dumbledore could discover them.

Ron despised the Golden Trio for taking Ginny to the ministry where she fought in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.

Molly Weasley had numerous nightmares following Ron’s disownment. Each being of a Ron being tortured by a laughing Voldemort.

The first place Ron fled to after being disowned was to Fred and George’s shop in Diagon Alley, where Fred threw him out. Fred considered that moment his biggest regret in his entire life. 

Professor Snape’s copy of Advanced Potions Book, also known as the Book of the Half-Blood Prince, saved the Silver Quartet on numerous occasions. Once such occasion was at the Skirmish at Owler Tor where Order of the Phoenix member Emmeline Vance was ambushed by death eaters. Ron saved her life with the use of a lethal sectumsempra to Goyle Senior’s torso. A spell he learned after finding and reading Professor Snape’s book.

Theo‘s crush on Tracey in Daphne’s words “intensified” after he watched her single-handedly save Madam Amelia Bones at the attack on her home.

Percy only apologized to Ron for abandoning the family after the Silver Quartet kidnapped Percy and his “close co-worker friend” Audrey Honywood in the year of 1996. 

Madam Amelia Bones offered the Silver Quartet a fast processing into the auror program after the war. All four of them declined.

Muriel Prewett secretly threw up after Ron amputated his arm. She refused to let even her family see her losing her cool.

Astoria and Muriel both attempted to hex Ron and Daphne when they returned for the first time after leaving in the night to fight in the war.

Astoria and Muriel came up with the epithet “Lord Blood Traitor” for Ron. 

Daphne proposed to Ron, not the other way around.

Ron changed his surname from Weasley to Greengrass after marrying Daphne. This was mainly due to his disownment, where his father stated that Ron was a “Weasley no longer”. This made Ron uncomfortable in giving Daphne his name at the altar. Instead he asked if he’d be able to take her name. She had agreed.

Other than Muriel, Percy was the only other blood relative to have attended Ron’s wedding. Whilst Muriel hosted the wedding, Percy officiated.

Muriel never admits to the fact, but the only reason she forced Ron to dance with her at his wedding was because she knew he was sad he couldn’t dance with his mother. So she danced with Ron and Astoria danced with Daphne as Audrey and Percy sang a duet in the background.

Tracey only told Ron about her crush on Theo. Yet, she never got the chance to share her feelings before both Theo and herself died in the Battle of Hogwarts.

The Silver Quartet’s assault on the Malfoy Manor led to three significant deaths that night: Rodolphus Lestrange, Rabastan Lestrange & Bellatrix Lestrange’s Unborn Child. It’s from these deaths that birthed Bellatrix’s mania for Weasley blood.

Ron only forgave Harry for causing so many problems for his family, after Harry saved Daphne in her duel against Bellatrix. 

Tracey, Draco and Edward Tonks and Neville Longbottom escaped Malfoy manor, but were separated from the rest of their allies. They sought shelter at the Prewett Family home where they stayed until the Battle of Hogwarts.

For two weeks, the Weasley family and their friends had thought Ron had died after Bellatrix shot a blasting curse at him in the Battle of Hogwarts. However, he actually escaped when Daphne apparated him to safety as the curse exploded. His brothers Fred and Percy however did not see this occur, instead seeing an explosion and nothing but a crater and Ron’s wand left in his place.

After Fenrir Greyback killed Astoria Greengrass in the Battle of Hogwarts, Daphne dueled and killed Fenrir in the Skirmish in the Great Hall of Hogwarts. She did so by summoning his teeth out from his mouth and transfigured it into a blade, which she then used to slash away at him repeatedly until he was nothing but a mangled husk of meat and blood.

The Silver quartet were responsible for the deaths of many prominent death eaters in the war: the Lestrange Brothers, Fenrir, Theo’s father, Mr. Goyle, Antonin Dolohov, Pius Thicknesse, Avery Jr., Jugson and Thorfinn Rowle.

The Slytherins who fought in the Battle of Hogwarts didn’t gather in the Great Hall during the hour-long respite, for they were unsure if they would be welcomed. They instead gathered in their common rooms where no professors were present to aid them. Blaise Zabini, Millicent Bulstrode, Daphne Greengrass, Graham Montague and Gemma Farley took charge of the Slytherins who fought, died, were injured or were too young to fight. 

Fred had many nightmares of Ron’s “death”. Sometimes waking up in his bed screaming, feeling guilty for not saving his youngest brother. Sometimes it took the joint efforts of George, Molly, and Charlie to calm him down from his nightmares. When he discovered Ron was alive, he was in a similar state as Molly, sobbing and suddenly becoming overprotective.

Andromeda Tonks and Narcissa Malfoy eventually reconciled after Draco stayed with the Tonks family for a time at Edward’s behest.

Ron and Daphne held a combined funeral for Astoria, Tracey and Theo. A mausoleum was built on the ruins of Greengrass Manor where the three fallen people were interred.  Only Ron, Daphne, Tracey’s parents, and the Greengrass and Nott house elves were invited to the ceremony.

Despite spending almost three months healing at St. Mungo’s Hospital, Ron’s left leg never completely healed and neither did his left eye. This left him with a limp and being blind in his left eye for the rest of his life.

As Theo was the last of his family, with no paternal relatives, the Nott family became extinct at his death. The entire Nott wealth, as according to Theo’s will, was granted to his only relative, his maternal cousin Daphne. 

Tracey died before her parents had their second child. A baby boy named Trent. She never got to meet Trent, but his parents made sure to tell him stories of his brave and powerful older sister.

It was Ron’s idea to name any potential daughters he and Daphne would have after the late Astoria Greengrass.

Ron and Daphne, with the aid of Neville, turned the charred ruins of Greengrass manor into a private botanical garden.

Ron is the only one of his siblings to have no children with the typical Weasley-Prewett red hair (with the exception of his brother Charlie who had no children). With his daughter Astoria II being born with blonde hair and his son Nico having brown hair.

Though Daphne’s relationship with Arthur improved over time, she never forgave him for disowning Ron.

Arthur once gave four diaries once owned by his mother Cedrella to Ron for Christmas. He figured that with the knowledge of a Slytherin Weasley, he could use Cedrella’s thoughts to aid him when he decided to have kids.

Daphne didn’t know she was pregnant with her daughter Astoria II until she gave birth. Astoria II became Arthur and Molly’s eldest grandchild, being born on May 1st, one day before her cousin Victoire Weasley. Daphne also didn’t know she was pregnant with her son Nico until she was six months pregnant. He was five years younger than his sister Astoria II and shared the same birthday as his paternal great-grandmother Cedrella.

Ron and Daphne were willed the Prewett family home by Muriel after her passing. They moved into the house where they would later raise their family.

Ron and Daphne’s children, Astoria II and Nico were both sorted into Hufflepuff when they attended Hogwarts.

Ron was the first person Albus Potter wrote to after being sorted into Slytherin. Albus wrote a long letter relaying all of his worries and insecurities about being sorted into Slytherin. Instead of replying with a lengthy letter, Ron sent him one of Cedrella’s diaries. Albus noticed that the diary was unfinished. Half was filled with stories of Cedrella’s youth in Slytherin and a quarter of it was filled with Ron’s favorite tales of his time in Slytherin. On the first empty page, Albus noticed a note from Ron saying “Write your own story now. Take care and always remember to have fun.”

Ron was given temporary custody of his second cousin, Mafalda Prewett, throughout her time attending Hogwarts. Mafalda loved her time growing up under Ron and Daphne’s care.

Other than learning of new magics and chess, Ron’s hobbies as an adult included watching muggle films (a pastime of Tracey’s), playing the piano (a hobby of Theo’s), collecting wine (inspired by Daphne’s Italian heritage) and spending time with his family.

Harry goes to confront Draco in the bathroom after hearing of his attack on Katie Bell. Instead of fighting him, Harry decided to talk things through. What he didn’t know was that such a small change could affect their future drastically.

Present time. 1 year after battle of Hogwarts.

Draco died in battle during the war. And that left Harry devastated.

After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter has yet to unlock the powers of the Deathly Hallows. Rumor has that the Deathly Hallows gives the owner the power of life and death. Can he gain this power to resurrect Draco? Or will it all be a lost cause?

25 December 1991:- Harry received his father's invisibility cloak and also discovered the Mirror of Erised in which he saw his family for the first time.

25 December 1992:- Harry and Ron drink Polyjuice Potion to disguise themselves as Goyle and Crabbe to question Draco and Hermione's transformation goes badly, giving her the appearance of a cat, complete with a tail.

25 December 1993:- Harry received Firebolt from Sirius which was confiscated by Prof. McGonagall.

25 December 1994:- Harry attended the Yule Ball in Hogwarts. Harry and Ron also heard Hagrid talking to Madame Maxime about his half giantess mother.

25 December 1995:- Harry, Hermione, Remus and the Weasley's visited Mr. Arthur Weasley in St. Mungo's hospital and Harry, Ron, Ginny and Hermione met Lockhart in Spell damage ward and also Neville Longbottom and his Grand mother and got to know the fate of Neville's parents.

25 December 1996:- Rufus Scrimgeour and Percy Weasley visit the Burrow where Scrimgeour talked Harry for the cooperation with the ministry of magic and also accused Harry of being Dumbledore's man.

Currently set in January of 1983, our DISCORD group has a war looming over its head. We are an established roleplay that can be found HERE. A brief overview of what has happened in the group so far can be found HERE.

The Ministry is unaware of both developments and appears to be ignoring the warning sides. Death Eaters were thrown for a loop at the Dark Lord reappearing seemingly out of nowhere while the Order of the Phoenix earned the shock of Dumbledore disbanding the group.

The two sides are working in the shadows with a few spies in their midst. It is only a matter of time before a full-out clash ensues. Which side will you choose?
