I'm thinking about how inconsistent my art style is I want it to be good but it's not? so next thing I know I'm drawing with pixel lines and now I'm doing fine thin lines with anime eyes and omg please help

Shadow Milk's old study books and notebooks are FILLED with doodles between the pages.

Not only to make little graphics about whatever je was investigating, but there is also little drawings of himself and other things. Of his friends, of people he had around at the moment, of objects. Sometimes the doodles seemed to be almost close to storyboards.

i feel like people who only get into drawing when theyre older, especially as adults, might honestly have an advantage in improving their skills quickly compared to people who started as kids simply by like…. being able to pick up drawing techniques with a developed brain lol? like if you start drawing when youre young, at least if youre self taught, i feel like youre more likely to pick up poor techniques that ultimately just hinder you progress and that youll have to weed out years later…… meanwhile as an adult thats just starting youre more likely to like idk. read the actual instructive words in anatomy books or whatever, and as a result the process of artistic improvement will be smoother
