honestly as someone who is really isolated post-covid, I have to reiterate just how much impact kind retail workers have on someone’s life.

like it just fucking…I haven’t been out of the house in weeks, you know??? and today I was met with kindness several times, and it just makes such a difference in a scary world when the contact you have with humainty is workers who get treated so shittily and still have patience for disabled people who take a long time to find their scripts or their card like…it just really has an impact.

Is AFHF a one of a kind, stand-alone, annual event that Louis happens to be headlining (for now) or is it a fancy, extra special Louis tour show?

Because on one hand you had the festival account posting stories all day up until the headliner took stage.

On the other hand you have Louis making a special IG post that only features pictures of his performance.

I get wanting to separate his performance/ his involvement as an artist in the festival and not as an organizer, but the festival doesn’t stand on its own without him so it makes no sense. Why are they ignoring him on the official accounts.

I am genuinely puzzled. I’m of course not surprised by the legendary inability of his team to do something well but I’m curious about Louis’ angle here.

#it seems to fit a pattern #of being too ‘humble’ or not confident enough to fully own his accomplishments #and the eternal division he seems to want to make between him as an artist and him as the business person except #sometimes it makes no sense #people show up for him and so his business ventures lets call them that work because of him #hate to say it #but he’s a brand and he’s an influencer #use that ffs #no one’s flying to italy to watch the cribs play for 45 min #the intensity of the fandom lives because of him #if you don’t want it then work towards establishing a ‘neutral’ event #which is never gonna happen #if it takes place in the US next year #anyways #rant over #🙃🙃🙃
