Who cooks? Who cleans up? Who’s banned from the kitchen? I feel both of them cook and both of them clean but Tempest probably would do more domestic work since I’d think she’d be a stay at home mother. After all their first born is a batpony and I don’t think Gurumane would be the best for taking on that majority of that responsibility hehe. If Tempest isn’t cooking WITH Guru she would probably kick him out as to not get in the way of cooking; that or have him clean the dishes as she goes.

Who is the more romantic one? Both are extremely romantic but Tempest is probably more romantic in public than Gurumane is but privately they are just so over the top. What’s a song that describes their relationship? Or, what’s the song that they’ve deemed “their” song? 23. Do they like pick up lines?

Merlin totally tries all the cheesy lines he can think of on JetStream. She totally thinks it’s all very silly but loves them none the less! Merlin is a certified goofball so she knew what she was getting into haha Besides- JetStream does well with a goof by her side, helps her loosen up a bit.

27. Who would propose? What would their wedding be like? Merlin proposed during a trip to Ponyville while on shore leave. This is around the time when he’s getting close to retiring from his time in the military and the two already decided that they’d get married once he was out. It wasn’t anything too grand as that isn’t Stream’s speed. I like to think maybe after dinner they went for a walk right after a rain storm came through so everything was reflecting light in a pretty way and it was probably getting closer to sunset so once they found themselves in a nice looking spot (maybe on a bridge?) Merlin would pop the question.

As for wedding? No idea honestly- I figured if I brought Ask-JetStream back Merlin would still be her finance so I haven’t really given it much thought. I could see them doing something maybe renting out a barn? Have the party in the old barn and the ceremony in a neat field or something? No idea haha

I really wanna here more about the time travel au. What would c!vanilla and r!vanilla think of each other?

Tbh! I can’t really tell by the abbreviations which one is c and r so I’m sorry about that 😔

But here’s a summary of what I think they think of each other:

On a conscious level both of them realize that the other is themself but they are so removed from each other in age and demeanor that they treat each other as different people, if that makes sense.

In young Pure Vanilla’s mind, he of course is scared of what in the future makes him turn so apathetic to the world, and so reluctant to give and receive kindness. But more importantly, his adult self needs comforting and healing and that’s what he can control and can do for him.

In Truthless Recluse’s (I’ve been calling him Dark Vanilla for the most part as an alias he would use in the AU) mind, he is prepared to protect his child self from Shadow Milk by any means possible and is initially on a hair trigger looking for any signs of Shadow Milk Cookie’s early influence. However, he is slowly but gradually realizing that Shadow Milk Cookie influenced his memories when they interacted, and re-experiencing them from this outside perspective is giving him a tiny bit more peace of mind for the safety of his child self. But this also means that he’s done a lot to himself in the future based on the words of Shadow Milk and is blaming himself for having changed so drastically. He doesn’t believe that he himself will ever be fit to hold the title of hero again, but he does believe that his child self’s potential is separate from his and that child Pure Vanilla, with his boundless kindness, is fully deserving of all the status and power to come his way in the future.
