Hello! This is some random post. To all the students who's pursuing medicine or those who's already in a medicine school proper or those who's already a doctor now. I badly wanna hear your advice. Please hear me out. So, I've made up my mind, I want to pursue Medicine. But lately, I started to doubt myself or to question myself. Do I have the qualities? Can I do it? I don't think I can do it. I'm a consistent honor student since I was in pre school but sometimes a lot of times I cheat(disgusting right?) But I really want to become a Doctor. It's just, there are so many hindrances like financial(but my mom said that I shouldn't have to worry because she will do her best to achieve my dream career). Also, I will spend my decade studying. I don't know if I'm going to survive. Is it that hard hard? Is it worth sacrificing? I badly need your advice, guys!!!

My last 2 week gameplan is to do all the mock tests that are in this and read every answer explanation for both sections! My other plan is to sit my 2 remaining official gamsat papers! There’s a lot to do. Also when I become a doctor (if) I will pledge money to tree growing to make up for the des O’Neil’s 🙈🌳🌲 how’s gamsat or even ucat prep going for you? I am trying to do all the things I didn’t do the first and second time around! I’ve had the des O’Neill’s since the very beginning but I didn’t know they had mock tests in them... I feel like an idiot lol anyway it is what it is! So much time wasted but oh well making up for it now! 💪🏾#gamsat #ucat #premed #aspiringdoctor #gamsatprep #gamsatuk #futuremedic https://www.instagram.com/p/B1wgQOwhvz3/?igshid=7zrh3cg1hti9

👩🏻‍⚕️ Thoughts 👩🏻‍⚕️
Hiiiiiii. Doubting & doubting again myself because i will be taking the national admission test (NMAT) this march 10 😭😭
Since I graduated college last june 2018, finally i will be taking nmat na. Dati diko pa iniisip kasi sabi ko matagal pa and now!!! Almost 3 weeks nalang 😵 I'm always dreaming of becoming a doctor when I was still a child. My 2018 year, had been such my breakthough year. May failures, may achievements. But I know God has reasons for everything. (hoping & claiming this 2019 that this would be my year) 💕Pero, na-feel ko talaga na baka para sakin yung pagmemedisina. Imagine, wala pa akong job dahil baka he wants me to focus on what's more important. 😢 also, because he wants me to enjoy life habang wala pang stress. Still, God is Good 🙌🏻Well, ako diko talaga maisip ibang job or future ko kundi maging doctor talaga. So ayun, sobrang mahirap pero kakayanin! 😭 Sympre, may God tayo na hindi tayo papabayaan sa kung ano man na problema dumating sa buhay natin. Siya na bahala sa lahat. Give your worries to Him because He cares for you. 🙏🏻 In His will, plans & perfect time time. Lalaban tayo! Okay?💪🏻
It's hard but it will be worth it 🙏🏻❤️
Time will come.
I will make myself proud.
I promise.

Updates
I’ve been so MIA on tumblr lately. I’ve been lurking, but I just have not had the time to post! So much has gone on I just want to recap whats happened over the last few weeks!
Exciting Things:
-I got straight A’s in the summer program, so I started this quarter with a 4.0 GPA
-My bf and I went on our first ~grown up~ trip together
-My dog got the surgery he needed!
-I’m starting a really cool research project with a professor and he’s going to enroll me in his graduate discussion section next quarter so I can work on it
-I got into a club/internship thing that fills my little heart with joy
-Got a job!!!!
Not so exciting things:
-Struggling to keep up good study habits this quarter! I’m feeling a little behind, but thats the nature of it I guess???
-Got rejected from another internship/club things that actually had to do with my major. Welp.
-Commuting to school sucks.
I guess its really not that much, but it feels like a lot lol. I’m needing to reevaluate my goals and make time for more self-care (I’m starting to read Wild Card, by Marie Lu, and I’m loving it!). I’m thinking i’m going to start the 100 days of productivity challenge tomorrow later today with ~reimagined goals~ so wish me luck!

2. Being Mortal by Henry Marsh
-  Henry Marsh, a world-renowned brain surgeon, writes a memoir of his fascinating career with painful honesty.

Summer session has begun and now it’s human anatomy. 😅 My study areas are not terribly glamorous, mostly because we have little room after housing the family. I do what I can.
