Some things I found interesting in The DuckTales Guidebook:

Considering that Gyro is almost always bitchy bitter in the series, he probably doesn’t take any naps? Poor guy, get him a weighted blanket so he can rest :(

(The cut off bit says that he has another dream catcher in his top hat) That would’ve been an interesting idea! Imagine all the angsty fanfics there could’ve been of Scrooge having to deal with Magica lingering inside his head.

For those who wanted a confirmation if Atmoz Fear was a reference to Doofenshmirtz!!

Dude, that would’ve been so cool if we gotten to see Gosalyn as a Junior Woodchuck! But I could understand why they’d wanna replace her with Violet. It just wouldn’t be the same without Drake there with her!

Yeah so sometimes you draw Perry the Platypus in the context of the ducktales universe and realize that means everyone else would be birds and stuff so you have to draw that too 

Anyways, why I made some choices under the cut!

Phineas

I couldn't figure out how to give him a triangle head, my bad :(

Was originally going to make him a robin, but then I was looking for some reference 

Stumbled upon Panchito

This man has half of Phineas’s hair and when I was drawing it came out looking like a comb anyways

So yeah he’s a chicken!

Ferb

Typically in Human!Perry aus they make Perry the uncle on Ferb’s side

So I decided to stick with that and make Ferb either a duck, beaver, or platypus (ignore how that technically doesn’t work it’s fine)

Wasn’t feeling beaver, so I got to drawing and when I came time for the tail I just went duck

Plus green ducks exist and are cool so it works

Candace

You know we have to get that long neck in when it comes to Candace

So my first thought was Ostrich

My second thought was swan but I decided Ostrich made more sense to stylistically make orange

So ostrich! 

Yes I know Phineas and Candace are biologically related so it would make more sense to make them the same species

but consider, we don’t know who the father is and I didn’t draw Linda so it’s fine 

(I know I also kept all the other people who are related the same species but shh its fine)

Isabella

She just gives off hummingbird vibes guys

Plus hummingbirds can be pink

Not much to say here I do like how she turned out though!

Baljeet

I wasn’t sure what to do so I defaulted to duck

again not much to say here

Oh wait! 

When I make HDLW/others eventually interact I’ve decided Huey meats the group first!

And it’s through Baljeet because they met at some nerdy summer camp thing

Yep!

Buford

Once again I was looking for reference 

I was like, Big Time Beagle and Buford kinda look similar

See what I mean?

So yeah Buford could distantly related to the Beagle Boys?? Maybe?

I’m not sure that would be an interesting concept though

Stacy

I defaulted to duck again

Even though her neck is long too it’s different than Candace because of her head shape

so therefore she is not an ostrich

Jeremy

Jeremy’s a different story

His head shape is MUCH more like Candace

He may not have quite as long of a neck (could anyone truly have as long of a neck as Candace?)

But it’s close so he's an ostrich too

Dr. Doofenshmirtz

We all saw Dr. Atmoz Fear in that one episode

You should KNOW Doof isn't against name changes for the sake of branding

So I just drew Atmoz Fear

They even say in the wiki for Atmoz Fear that he looks like Doofenshmirtz

So it’s fine I can be lazy

Plus could I really think of a better design than him? No, no I could not.

Vanessa

Almost made her a different species but then I didn’t

Once again it just kinda turned out that way 

Ginger & Gretchen

Same as Stacy, so just a duck

then I defaulted for Gretchen too

Look I have so little to say that I combined them!

I have an idea about what Bushroot’s backstory might be in the reboot.

At the end of “The Town When Everyone Was Nice” we see a seed from the plant fall into the soil. Maybe this seed is able to maintain a humanoid form w/ sentiance or a part of it breaks of like the episode “Growing Pains” from Batman-The Animated Series, which had a part of Clayface break off and become her own person.

Or a similar backstory to the original with a scientist/botanist fusing with that plant (maybe Dr. Atmoz Fear since he has a weather theme and weather goes with plants AND we got a lingering shot of his broken remote) and he gains the plant’s ability to shoot off humanoid decoys.

you ever think about how darkwing has the fearsome four, and a rogues gallery beyond that ? whys gizmoduck only get the beagle boys and beaks (and atmoz fear i guess) ? i think every superhero needs a bit of proper enrichment, and despite st canard’s reputation duckburg’s definitely not short on weirdos

so i made some gizmorogues ! we’ve got jewel-swiping wannabe crime legend diamentia, with her comedic relief prone henchman honks; creepy crawly and vaguely supernatural menace botfly; sympathetic but still formidable automaton lugnut; and last but definitely not least cold and calculating evil scientist dr. anthrax !

ive had them kind of stewing around in my mind for a while now so im glad to finally be posting them !! thanks to the conclusion of the show i can just pretend they were real and canon the whole time

"I'm sorry, you're saying that with a straight face?" Della asked. "Let's see, this is the third time you've gotten grabbed by FOWL."

"Twice by Dr. Atmoz Fear," Fenton said.

"There was that time with that dashing pirate, what was his name?" Morgana asked.

"That was a hostage situation, very different," Drake argued.

"Does being arrested count?" Launchpad asked.

Drake paused. "Et tu, Launchpad?"

"The really embarrassing one was Mark Beaks," Gandra said. "And then there was... what was his name, Dr... Dementor?"

"Drakken, and that was only because he mistook Gosalyn for someone else," Drake said. "And Beaks only got away with it because he'd stolen a bunch of stuff from Gyro."

"Honestly, babe, if you want to be tied down that much, I can make that happen," Fenton said.

Drake blinked. "You're really just going to put that out in the open, in front of everybody."

"We were all thinking it," Della muttered.

"Oh, you can go to hell," Drake said.

How would the duckverse version of perry the platypus relationship with phineas and ferb family be like.

Is he their uncle, a close freind of the family or babysit.

Oh yeah, I think it’s like their uncle (not blood related). Like in PnF he’s an agent that has the mission of protect and keep an eye on the boys, but then he just got too attached to them.
