Eve being an Actual Creation Deity but is constantly seen as an inferior Superhero because her power isn't as focused on punching really hard. Yes, Conquest burst a hole through her chest in seconds, but she CANNOT DIE AND CAN CREATE ANYTHING. She's just a GOOD PERSON and doesn't do insane shit like turning the air into acid to burn someone from the inside out lmfao

What would have happened If Atom found Luna Nova on a planet/earth instead of the ship?

Oooh, this is a fun one! Depending on how big the planet is, Atom will likely attempt terraforming a part of it to be your personal fishbowl (affectionate) away from other living creatures, sentient or otherwise. Not a huge chunk, just big enough for you to live comfortably.

Since it's literally building from the ground up (as opposed to the Bidadari which already has facilities to keep you alive), it takes a lot more effort for it to integrate itself into the local flora, but by stars it will do it if it means you have nowhere else to go.

The process will take longer too so the time it takes to hunt down the rest of your crew will probably happen over the course of a few days or weeks instead of hours like in the game.

Donatello's Inspirations

Rise Ramblings #91

So, I’ve noticed that Donatello has a habit of being inspired by what he sees and adopting those aspects into himself.

This system of integration is most prevalent when it comes to the people he loves or admires.

Take one of his favorite stims, for instance.  

You don’t have to look too far to find that phrase's source.

He admires and loves his Papa, thus one of his dad’s favorite sayings is one of his favorites as well.

This aspect of incorporation also extends to his beloved heroes.

One of my favorite examples are his signature eyebrows.

He didn’t have them, then he did. We know that he started drawing them on nine years ago (with a sharpie, lol) but I wonder where he got the idea for the eyebrows in the first place…

Before he knew that Lou Jitsu was his father, Donnie had already incorporated the man’s eyebrows into his mask. Therefore, one can argue that the adoption of Lou’s well-coiffed brows was not due to a simple familial bond. Instead, Donnie just wanted to be more like his hero, Lou Jitsu (and thought the brows were cool, lol.)

However, that’s not the only hero Donatello took inspiration from.

I would pay money for someone to write a longer fuller fanfic about this, if I had money. All I can offer is my rambles, and sending it out into the universe... may it find a home. Go, be free... 

I have no problem whatsoever with selfcest in fandoms, I used to be into undertale, my fave ship was fell sans x undertale sans, try me.  

I can't remember if its canon that OG Mark ends up stronger than the other Marks, but he ends up real strong anyways, so some would fall for him because of that strength. Others might be because they are egotistical, and would love to fuck themselves. 

Mark would need to work harder than the reader to get them all completely dick whipped. Cuz they aren't gonna be careful with a version of themselves, especially the one they were technically sent to mess with. 

OG Mark would also have a harder time just accepting this compared to reader cuz he thinks its just, weird. Hes got his thing with Eve ya know? So no, he's not gonna let 20/20 Mark choke down his dick while in the air, floating over Toronto. 

Would be great if Eve was like “please, I just wanna see” when the alt marks start trying to get into OG Marks pants. Eve sits there like 😏 cuz it's so hot to see her boyfriend making out with another version of himself, while fucking a third version of himself. 

Insert that one “she was fujoshing out!!!” meme, cuz Eve would just have a great time, I think. Like yeah, this is my boyfriend Mark, and his alternate versions of himself who are also his boyfriends, but not mine. 

OG Mark knocking the alt Marks up would also never had been his plan, but he ends up doing it. Someone ends up making a “talk about self love...” joke. Mark will never live it down.

Decisions, decisions...

So, here comes the lore dump:

Upon moving to Japan and becoming a Pro Hero there, Adam ended up bumping into All Might quite frequently (through either being rescued by him or by showing up to fight crime alongside him), which resulted in them eventually cutting out the middleman and deciding to meet up for patrols during the night. This happens in the ~8 months (if I remember the timeline correctly) that All Might spends training Izuku for the UA entrance exam, so Adam spends a lot of time getting to know All Might as a hero and All Might getting to know Adam as both a hero and a person.

it's during these eight months that their slow burn arc starts, interspersed with Hero work in a sort of slice of life-y feel. Adam is a little hesitant, given that All Might won't even share his real name with him, but Adam has Attachment Issues so that's not even enough to dissuade him from All Might.

During one of their patrols, Adam mentions being in search of a second job because Hero work in Japan doesn't cover the cost of living like he was used to in America. At this point, All Might calls in a favor from Nezu, pulls some strings with the "I'm All Might" card (not really, but it is a funny image), and secures Adam as the physics/chemistry teacher at UA. Adam has no idea that All Might does any of this until he receives a call from Nezu on the subject.

He meets Toshinori Yagi once he starts working at UA, and unlike in canon, Toshinori requests that only a select few of the teachers know about his True Form, those teachers being the ones working closest with the hero course. Toshinori makes this request because of his feelings for Adam and his fear that Adam would lose all interest in All Might if he knew about his True Form, so Toshinori keeps up the Secretary Yagi act around Adam.

This, of course, leads to some secret identity miscommunication, where Adam ends up falling for both All Might and Toshinori separately. However, because of Toshinori's insecurities, he avoids pursuing Adam while in his True Form and ends up remaining entirely oblivious to Adam's advances on him.

The slow burn continues with the rest of the staff getting increasingly frustrated with Adam and Toshinori's idiocy while also knowing it's not any of their places to mettle. They continue to meet during patrols, which keep getting cut short due to either All Might running out of time or Adam's Quirk side effects causing him to take a quick leave.

All Might is eventually the one to make the first move while Adam wars with the idea of being in love with both All Might and Toshinori Yagi. When All Might confesses, Adam realizes that Toshinori is the one he really loves (and the one he could actually see himself settling down with, because he is a romantic at heart), and so he rejects All Might.

But because this is my favorite trope, the miscommunication doesn't stop there. Adam phrases it as being "in love with another man" and All Might takes this as a rejection to Toshinori as well, because there is no possible way that the "other man" is Toshinori, what with his True Form looking the way it does. In response, Toshinori ends up pulling away from Adam, leaving Adam rather confused and more than a little hurt at the sudden wall of formality between them.

To add onto this, All Might continues to lose more available time in his Buff form, so he ends up seeing Adam during patrols less and less. Adam takes this as All Might ghosting him after Adam rejected him.

The tension builds until either (i haven't decided yet): a) The Kamino Ward battle, where Adam finds out that Toshinori is All Might and then almost watches him die on live television, or b) Toshinori breaks and reveals that he is All Might to Adam, where Adam realizes that they're both morons.

And that is the short summary of their romantic plotline! Either way, they get together sometime around the Kamino battle.

Caramel is gorgeous. A classic example of how Sleep Token play with genre, how they weave intense, metaphorically (and plainly) eloquent, emotionally evocative lyrics into lighter music before plunging into heavy tunes. The lyrics are so straightforward yet laden with Vessel's usual artistry.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Vessel and II's ability to craft a story within a song that is both complete in and of itself whilst contributing to the greater narrative that they're building is admirable to the highest degree. They are masters of their craft through and through.

I just love the way Caramel takes our hand and starts us off dancing and leaves us at a standstill. I'm smiling, I'm crying, I'm shimmying, I'm staring at the wall. I'm having so many emotions. It doesn't surprise me how emotive Sleep Token's music is, we know that already, but it still sweeps me off of my feet every damn time.

While I love the anime giving us iruna etelero just as much as the next person (sometimes I listen to it on loop while studying for my exams), I think that originally Lindel's song was meant to have no words at all:

Looking at the page and at Chise's description of the song, I just feel like it was entirely vocal. I mean, right after this Lindel even talks about music that existed before words did. It'd be pretty weird for him to say this if there were any words in his song.

Maybe what Lindel is singing is a joik/yoik, even. He is Sámi, after all. Joiking/Yoiking is their traditional form of singing, and lyrics are not necessary for singing a joik as far as my research goes (of course I'm not an expert, though). It's also considered to be one of Europe's oldest surviving musical traditions, which also really fits into what Lindel is saying.
