so i've got this audio splitter that lets me plug a bunch of devices into it and it lets me listen to my video games and audio entertainment at the same time. except it kind of sucks because every additional device muffles the audio more and honestly the quality takes a nosedive even just passing through it. also if i want to use speakers i have to unplug the whole thing.

does anyone have suggestions for an alternative solution? maybe something usb i can just attach various devices to and easily switch around what's playing and where? i know mixers exist but most of those seem like overkill for what i'm trying to do (listen to an unrelated story while still hearing if a serpent is coming for me)
