Honestly idk why an egg came to mind. You see Calypso and Twilight didn’t want to do a donor but they have considered adoption as their second plan. Their first plan was to use magic! Which they did and the spell takes hours to be fulfilled. And as you can tell it worked! (Yes I redid her bangs and I like this better!)

And maybe something else here. I didn’t really like how the ending of Sombra happened. In the comics I’ve seen him being redeemed which they should’ve done but oh well!

KH1, The Dark World, Chirithys, and Riku: the Incredible Connection Pt. 1

Information I will be going over will include: that Riku has ALWAYS been a Dream Eater, the Dark World exists inside Riku’s heart and how being a Dream Eater affects what was happening at the end of KH1, that the darkness Aqua interacted with was none other than Riku’s (hence the Darkling-esque outfit), and how Sora’s Heart Station shines down in the Dark World.

1) Dream Eater Riku

A special ability Chirithy are noted to have the ability to smell light and darkness. This is something Riku is shown able to do and even mentions that Kairi had a similar scent to Namine (in the original scene he simply states he recognized Namine from her saving him), hinting he may have had this ability for a long time. And he can tell the difference between the smell of light and darkness and whose it is. He could even tell when Replica Riku took in Zexion’s powers, specifically.

In BBS, we see Riku seeming to sense something from Sora before even looking at him and he probably sensed sadness since Sora is crying and Riku looked worried. In KH3, we see a scene similar to this where Riku is making sure Axel is okay after getting injured pretty badly and he suddenly seems to sense something and that something is coming from Sora which causes him to run to him in order to reassure him that everyone still has their hearts.

In 3D, we see Riku has a Dream Eater mark on his back but he doesn’t have one normally despite what he is. The reason Riku gains a mark on his back in is likely because his heart joined with Sora’s when he went to sleep and it turned him into a new Spirit Dream Eater like the Chirithy at the end of KHUX in order to protect their chosen Keyblade wielders.

Chirithy are often portrayed as knowledgeable and almost teacher-like as they help guide their chosen wielders. Because Riku is keen on helping protect Sora from a very young age, it’s not hard to see how him playfully competing with him could be the way he helps him train to become stronger.

Riku is quite...worldly for a child in BBS. He could tell Terra wasn’t from their world (something he shares with the Goddess Calypso from POTC who also acts like a Dream Eater) and, honestly, I think he was expressing curiosity in the man because of the sadness in his heart. That’s simply conjecture, though.

And the way Riku talks at the end of BBS was very knowing. Like Sora was his chosen Keyblade wielder already at that point and he was advising him of his future duty he would help him with. Otherwise, why would he even bring up the idea of Sora helping others like this at all?

BTW the sun symbolism in Chirithy’s creation is another curious thing.

Riku’s often represented with a sun. He even shines down on Sora’s Heart Station like Sora is the world and Riku is the sun.

Nice visual hint there.

2) The Dark World

Now, you know how Chirithy turn into Nightmares if their wielder falls to darkness? And how if they’re not stopped they can plant darkness in the hearts of others? What does darkness pouring out of something remind you of?

Like...a Nightmare.

Remember the door closing in KH1? How afterwards we got a flashback involving Sora and Riku in a nostalgia filter? There was another scene that was awfully similar to it and it’s in BBS.

Ventus and Sora restored the hearts of Aurora and Riku. But...the difference being that The Dark World was locked inside of Riku’s heart in the process and he’s been dealing with that pain ever since.

While Sora and Kairi spend KH3 figuring out how to release Roxas and Namine from their hearts, Riku spends KH3 figuring out how to release Aqua from his.

introducing, for the first time online since i starting thinking abt this in 2020, drumroll please: my personal hc for auri's sisters name is Callisto (Callie) Mei-Huang O'Malley. take a seat, get comfy, put on a good playlist, let me explain. in the books we're given most of her name, 'callie o'malley'. but to me callie feels like too much of a nickname, it feels too informal. knowing that auri also went primarily by a nickname instead of her full name, aurora, makes me think the same went for callie. their parents are both very space-inclined people, and i feel like they'd keep the cosmic-themed names going (aurora borealis, callisto - jupiter's second largest moon and the third largest moon in our solar system, you can see where im going w this). i think callie neverrr used callisto except on paperwork n official stuff, she used callie exclusively to the point where the only people who actually called her by her birth name was her mom when she got in trouble. i think she wouldn't love the name since its so distinct and kinda uncommon but it would have some deep meaning to her parents so she'd never complain abt it to them. for her first name i kinda went between cassiopeia, calypso, celestia, but in the end i think callisto fits the best.

i also kept the middle name pattern going, staying true to my internal linguistics nerd something interesting i noticed is the first part of auri’s middle/chinese name is Jie, and in mandarin chinese the word for eldest sister is jiějie (姐姐). i doubt this is intentional on the author’s part, but going with that trend mèimei (妹妹) means younger sister in mandarin, therefore i present you with Mei-Huang. (Huang (黃) on the other hand i didnt have a deep reason for i just chose it bc it sounded pretty lmao). last thing that i found kinda funny is according to my top sources (aka google.com) the name Jié (杰) means ‘heroic, prominent, outstanding person’ which is pretty fitting for auri lol. also important to note that Jié and Jiě would be pronounced differently, here’s my fav website for audio examples of the pronunciation (https://www.chinese-word.com/voice/00jie.html). anyways please let me know if you have any questions, comments, ideas, critiques, suggestions! i am open to all of the above and anything else yall would like to add. *walks away*

universo di Lucifer

che tipo. è il primo che ho fatto e risale al 2018 ormai. gira intorno a Lucifer, pop star e erede al trono sia del Paradiso che dell'Inferno in quanto figlio del Re dell'Inferno e della Regina del Paradiso (sì). la quest principale è incentrata su Lucifer e quattro suoi amici (Arael, Leo, Kaito e Elliott) che partono per un viaggio per fermare una minaccia livello apocalisse. funzionerebbe molto bene come videogioco jrpg ngl.

poi dovremmo anche parlare che Lucifer ha obbligato gli altri quattro a formare una boyband ma non c'è tempo.

da sinistra a destra: Leo (demone), Kaito (kitsune), Lucifer (il protagonista, mezzo angelo e mezzo demone), Arael (angelo) e Elliott (guardiano. è una divinità diciamo). qui indossano outfit neri e rosa abbastanza kpop style

che in realtà siamo sempre nello stesso universo di prima, ma raramente i diversi personaggi si incontrano eccetto rare eccezioni. anyway qui abbiamo (quasi) tutto il mio roaster di magical girls e magical boys formato da ben cinque team + extras con l'unico problema che tipo... non ho mai disegnato metà del cast. oops

vabbé questo universo qua è ovviamente ispirato alle pretty cure con annessi cross over e trope vari. qui ogni team ha una suo storia a parte e raramente si incontrano, PERÒ si incontrano. ed è questo ciò che conta.

qui dentro troviamo le Sparkling Elegance Precure e le Forever Ad Astra Precure (che vorrei rendere delle magical girls autonome e non più dei fandom oc, ma sto fallendo), il team di Alys (ho disegnato Alys, mancano gli altri due membri), i Phantom Heroes (mai disegnati) e i Prism Knights (nome pending e anche loro mai disegnati)

now we speak perché di loro ho tipo ZERO ARTE (up to date almeno), ma solo un mucchio di picrew e nessuno che mi soddisfa al 100%. COMUNQUE

la base della storia è che i Pentacles sono sei ragazzi di tipo 16 anni che si trovano nello stesso dormitorio a scuola e tutti e sei hanno vari poteri magici. in teoria questa nella mia testa esiste come serie di libri (o un enorme libro di 400 pagine) young adult. la parte peggiore (o migliore) è che... non ho idea di dove va la loro storia. ho solo varie tidbit di lore e scene fighe che accadono, ma non una storia seria e mi fa impazzire tbh. so chi sono i Pentacles, che poteri ha ognuno di loro, le loro famiglie, le loro passioni, le loro abilità, MA NON SO LA STORIA anche perché vengo ispirato da ogni film e serie che vedo quindi è un po' un casino qua

considero i Pentacles come la mia versione delle Winx (sono sei, tuttə con i poteri, tuttə nella stessa camera, tuttə in un mondo fantasy e sono anche entrambi gruppi multietnici)

Do you have any good wlw romance recs? Like explicit?

I do, but I will say--one thing I've noticed about f/f romance is that they are often less explicit than m/f and m/m. And I do tend to wonder why that is. There's of course the issue that f/f is less common in general than m/m and m/f, but.................... I also think there's a fear of being accused of sexualizing sapphic relationships. Which, totally get; but sometimes you want to read a hot sapphic book, I don't know what to tell ya.

Anyway, I would recommend checking out:

A Long Time Dead by Samara Breger. Not out until 5/16, but I recommend getting it ASAP. It's a vampire romance--one heroine is a lesbian, the other I think prefers women but is most likely bisexual. It's this decades long push/pull, and the sex is reeeeally good. There are some D/s vibes, "good girl"-ing, the strap gets broken out. One heroine also does have on-page sex with another person before the relationship fully gets going; this other person is a trans woman, and I really like how that sex scene was handled, both in terms of consent and in terms of a REAL trippy vibe. Such a good book. Here's my full review.

The Fiancee Farce by Alexandria Bellefleur. If you're more into contemporary romcom vibes, this is a marriage of convenience book with two bi heroines. It's not as explicit as others. There is one full sex scene, and one interrupted sex scene. Very cute if you're looking for something a bit gentler. Full review here.

Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner. A much sex-heavier contemporary. This one has a heroine who's in college and hooks up with an older woman at a bar... only to find out said older woman is her new bestie's mom!!! It's hot. A lot of sneaking around (both characters are out, to be clear). A lot of really good sex.

Queen Takes Rose by Katee Robert. This is one of Katee's Wicked Villains books, and that series is pretty high heat. It's basically a Maleficent/Aurora books but modern--older woman/younger woman, a deal with the devil/contract situation. Very hot.

Katee also has a f/f pirate book coming out soon, and Stone Heart is a f/f book of hers that's basically Medusa/Calypso, but modern. If you're open to m/f/f, The Sea Witch is a triad book that's Ursula/Ariel/Eric. Everyone is together, but there's a bit more emphasis on the f/f aspect, imo.

The Conquering of Tate the Pious by Sierra Simone is a medieval historical romance (not sure if it's available individually yet, was originally released as a part of the Villain I'd Like to F... collection) with a villainous Norman invader lady and an ABBESS. Kinda dark, super sexy, objects are used.

Olivia Waite writes explicit (though not super hardcore) historical romances--The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics is one I would recommend. Cat Sebastian has a f/f novella with one explicit sex scene, A Little Light Mischief.

Hope this helps! It can be difficult to find good f/f books, not because they aren't there, but because there are fewer, they aren't traditionally published as often, and they just aren't discussed as much, unfortunately.
