Well some bad news. I have a duo of chicken murderers. Butterbean and Cody killed all of my little flock. :(
But this little foray into chickens has gotten me hooked and my ADHD brain says that chickens are a good source of dopamine.
I now have THREE brooders set up in my living room and, after making sure they're secure from any more break-ins, went out and got me some more chicks.
I now have four silkies, a frizzle, a silver seabright, and one yellow one that was SUPPOSED to be a bantam, but I have a sneaking suspicion is NOT.
On the bright side, other than my two troubler-makers, the rest of my cats are very trustworthy, and one seems to believe he's a hen.
I let my chickens carve a pumpkin lol I think they did great and really love the style choices they made like the scar on one eye, the other one so big it almost connects to the mouth & that they decided he only needed one tooth 🎃🧡 perfection
What happens when I get fee time to combine my chicken hobby with what I do for work? This of course! I wanted to make a little illustrated graphic for my touch-grass hobby. Here I am, living my chocobo rancher dreams IRL.
