• If you are doing self-improvement, take it seriously. The aesthetics are nice, but action is immaculate ✨

• Do not embark on it for validation. ESPECIALLY from men. It won't feel fully authentic that way and any lack of what you're expecting can actually stop or delay your journey... not worth it considering the feats you are achieving.

• Do not follow others blindly when it comes to these tips to help yourself. Everyone is from a different background - in terms of culture or mindset or childhood trauma. Follow advice that actually suits you and makes you feel like you're aligned to achieve something that will TANGIBLY benefit you.

• Try not to look back. If you're doing something that benefits you and your loved ones (evaluate who they are carefully as well!), you're doing great. Don't care what others think.

• You can do it. Trust yourself, because sometimes fear might be the only thing holding you back.

but think about it. maybe just keep ur chin up and don't wait for these small actions. another day is another chance to slay. go work on ur hobbies, go write a poem, go talk to somebody u love.

feeling mad at the thought of him not actually possibly giving u the best response? work mode ON! do ur homework, finish that task uve been procrastinating, find a better way to be productive, research more about ur job, do a course or something. find something that diverts u and needs regular attention. cos that's what thinking abt this boy does to u.

not feeling like such a girlboss tdy? that's totally fine. we all respond to this uncomfortableness in different ways. productivity isn't the only solution. maybe u wna watch an interesting movie? watch some bad bitch energy music videos? a walk in the park would be good too! paint ur nails if u'd like to! scroll through pinterest for a while. dress up and do a photoshoot? maybe find a new show to watch. or if ure feeling like u wna please urself, grab that vibrator. the choice is urs. the point is that u wna do something that takes ur mind off him and reminds u of the OTHER parts in ur life that u may have not consciously acknowledged bc of ur hyperfixation. i've been there. don't worry. what matters is that u take that enjoyment from his attention and take ownership of it using things that focus on u.

i hope u know that despite some boys actually being shy (another topic of its own that deserves respect and understanding that i will talk abt another day), many of them may just be getting ur energy and worries and beauty all messed up bc of their minimal effort. 2022 is ending, we don't need to crave that anymore 😭😭

You do not have to change your modesty to fit in with a clique or an aesthetic. You definitely do not have to do it to make someone love or fancy you. Stay authentic and most importantly, stay COMFORTABLE. We all find different things comfortable.

To start afresh and never ever look back. Don't depend on anyone to change it, don't hope that people will support you through the change and don't expect validation when you become a new person. These things are harsh to accept but they matter so much.
