hey can you pls recommend a fic like escapade
Hi, anon...so the main tropes in that one are the tropical location, a fake relationship, a destination wedding, and sex work. So here are some that fit some of those...
Perfect Storm by @cherrystreet
What do you do when your best friend asks you and your (now) ex to be the best men at his destination wedding? You can either tell him the truth, tell him you’re not together anymore, and deal with the consequences, or you can pretend you’re still together and roll with it, just pray you don’t spiral. Fake it ‘til you make it. You know, for the sake of the wedding.
Harry and Louis choose the latter.
If this feeling flows both ways. by Star_Henderson / @tommosgun
'You're a massive flirt Tommo, you were practically shagging on skype.' Zayn punches me playfully in the arm.
'Did you fucking see him? My god he is so my type. Thank god I chose that agency, he's hot, it will be great fun, can't wait.' I squint my eyes at him.
'You're actually doing this then yeah?'
'Yeah I am Zayn, I have been dreading turning up at that wedding alone. I can stop worrying now and just enjoy it. He seems cool, think we will hit it off and if he's used to this kind of thing then I'm sure he will be a true professional and ace his role.'
'Mmmh, I just worry Lou that all. Me and Liam, we just want you to be happy.'
'I know love, I know and I'm sure Prince Charming is just around the corner.' I eye roll at him. 'But until then, I'll act it out with a hot dude.' ~ Or the one where Louis hires an escort to go as his boyfriend to Lottie's wedding and to affirm his sexuality at several work engagements. Louis is very rich and very successful, Harry is an escort, hired to attend to your every need. From the Sony winter ball in Vegas to the Grammys. From Malibu to Miami, the Bahamas to London, follow the journey of Louis the songwriter and Harry the male escort.
Whatever Floats Your Boat by larryftnoctrl / @the-larry-way
When Harry's mother convinces him to attend his ex's wedding, he must enlist support in the form of his handsome and charming best friend, flatmate and convincing fake boyfriend, Louis. With Louis by his side, the ever present sun and the plenty of open bars, an all expenses paid week long cruise doesn't seem like the worst he could do.

2023 Bahamas Cruise, Part 18, Apr. 12. Weather hold on Long Island.
Tumblr media
What do you do when the water is this clear and calm? Jump in! Bahamas are not all beaches, pina coladas and “green flash” sunsets. After these two flat calm days, the next two days we were surrounded by storms from a stalled cold front. Miami flooded with 8” of rain in two days. Yet, we never really got rain.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Easter Sunday, I dropped off Nancy at the closest dinghy dock to St. Joseph’s Anglican/Episcopal church in Thompson Bay. You can just barely see it in the background behind her. Around fifty people were in attendance. She had met most of them during our time on the Island. A much more reserved service, than last years service in Black Point. No tambourines, no kids choir, and a third the time. Fifty/fifty men and women, where Black Point was a high majority of women.
Tumblr media
After dropping Nancy off, I swung by the Thompson Bay Yacht Club. Cruisers over time have set up a small picnic area on shore here, dubbed TBYC. No one was here. Only two of us are anchored in the bay now. Then I headed back to the boat for boat chores. Took the trash to shore. Filled the water tank using our water maker. Trickle charged the start battery and fixed a thing or two.
Tumblr media
Nancy called on the VHF radio for a pick up at Basil’s dock. Once we got back to the boat, we lifted the anchor and headed north. Great wind from the west for sailing on a beam reach. Nancy baked bread while the boat was heeled 10-15 degrees to starboard.
Tumblr media
Fresh Coconut cinnamon bread!
Tumblr media
Just before the two loaves of Coconut cinnamon bread came out of the oven we sailed over the Tropic of Cancer northbound. Coordinates are displayed on the top left of the chart plotter, N23 26.031 Actual Longitude of the Tropic of Cancer North 23 degrees 26 minutes and 10 seconds. We anchored off of Simms Settlement on Long Island. That is where you see Nancy jumping off the boat. She paddleboared along the shore. While I made water on the boat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nancy caught mid flight playing around and cooling off some.
Tumblr media
The next day we dinghied to Simms Government Dock where the mail boat comes in. With a west wind blowing the dinghy against the sharp rocks. I sent Nancy on walk about, while I oared around in the dinghy. She visited the prison and several graveyards. The prison and most buildings in town had outhouses near them. Not sure if either the outhouse or prison have been used in recent history. Think Mayberry RFD, Bahama out island style.
Just before we left for shore another monohull sailboat pulled into OUR anchorage. This is OUR anchorage damn it! As soon as we got back to the boat we pulled anchor and went north around the next point. I had gotten lazy and forgot to check the charts. We went from 7 ft. depth to 5 ft. in a couple of seconds. Oops! I went to idle and started the turn back to deep water. Too late…..squeakkkkk. We had skidded to a stop in pure white sand. Quick check of the shore for current tide. Looks kind of low. Pull up weather app. we are close to low. Had this been a sailing YouTube channel. All sorts of drama could be made up. Water was flat calm. First dropped the 55 pound anchor and twenty feet of chain that weighs 1 lb. per foot. The chain laid over the top of the anchor in a pile. Had some snacks and a beer. Went swimming. Walked chest deep around the boat. Nancy jumped off the boat and hit bottom doing so. Wind changed 180 degrees and picked up enough to move the boat when we floated free. So pulled in the pile of chain with the anchor suspended above the sand. Couple of hours later…..we floated free after dark. Waited until 7 ft. showed on the depth finder. Then drop the anchor and chain, then went to bed. Next morning we snorkeled around the boat.
Tumblr media
This blue tip crab put up his dukes, when I stopped by. Reviewing weather, anchorages and possible plans we decided to sail back to Thompson Bay. Then rent a car and tour the north end of the island. Wind was on our nose, so we only sailed an hour; then motored to Thompson Bay. In between rain storms we took 4 jerry jugs to Long Island Petroleum for diesel and gas. Had a great talk with Walter Fox the part owner.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On Wednesday when the weather seemed to break. We hiked over the island to the ocean side, then south along the beach for a mile. Then back across the island to the “Sou’ side” (Sound side) of the island. Round trip walking was a little over 3 miles. We were hot and tired with nothing but photos to show for our beach hike. We are surprised that little to no shells on the reef side of the island. Today though we were both looking for Ambergris. Found lots of tar balls, but no ambergris.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the way to the dinghy we stopped at the “Sou’ side” bar for a cold Kalik beer and cracked chicken. Then back to the boat.
Tumblr media
Rainbow over Salt Pond at the end of the day.

Navigating Miami's waterfront for seaport transfers can be an exciting part of any journey, offering a blend of convenience, sightseeing, and seamless transportation options. This guide explores the essentials of seaport transfers in Miami, highlighting key considerations and tips for making your waterfront experience easy and enjoyable.
Tumblr media
Understanding Miami's Seaports
Miami is home to several major seaports, each catering to different types of cruises and maritime activities:
PortMiami: Known as the "Cruise Capital of the World," PortMiami is one of the busiest cruise ports globally, offering a wide range of cruise itineraries to destinations in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and beyond. It's located on Dodge Island, just east of Downtown Miami.
Port Everglades: While not in Miami proper, Port Everglades in nearby Fort Lauderdale is another popular departure point for cruises, especially for those heading to the Caribbean.
Transportation Options for Seaport Transfers
Navigating Miami's waterfront for seaport transfers requires choosing the right transportation option based on your preferences and itinerary:
Private Transportation Services: Many companies in Miami specialize in seaport transfers, providing private car or shuttle services to and from the ports. This option offers convenience and flexibility, especially for families or groups.
Ridesharing Apps: Popular ridesharing apps like Uber and Lyft operate throughout Miami, offering a budget-friendly and convenient option for seaport transfers. However, availability may vary depending on demand and time of day.
Public Transportation: Miami-Dade Transit operates bus routes that connect to PortMiami, providing a cost-effective way to reach the port from various locations in the city.
Hotel Shuttles: Some hotels in Miami offer complimentary shuttle services to PortMiami for guests staying pre-cruise or post-cruise.
Tips for Navigating Miami's Waterfront
To make your seaport transfer experience in Miami smooth and enjoyable, consider the following tips:
Plan Ahead: Research transportation options and book in advance, especially during peak cruise season or busy travel periods.
Consider Traffic and Timing: Factor in Miami's traffic patterns and allow ample time for transfers to avoid rushing or missing embarkation times.
Pack Essentials: Ensure you have all necessary documents, cruise tickets, identification, and any required travel paperwork easily accessible.
Stay Informed: Stay updated on any changes to port procedures, embarkation protocols, or transportation services by checking with your cruise line or port authority.
Explore Nearby Attractions: If time permits, consider arriving at the port early to explore nearby attractions such as Bayside Marketplace or the Wynwood Arts District.
Local Insights and Recommendations
Miami locals often have valuable insights and recommendations for navigating the city's waterfront:
Water Taxi Services: Explore Miami's waterways with water taxi services that offer scenic transfers and stops at various waterfront destinations.
Dining Options: Discover waterfront dining experiences near PortMiami or Port Everglades for a pre-cruise meal with stunning views.
Cultural Highlights: Visit cultural attractions like the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) or the Frost Science Museum, located near PortMiami.
Conclusion
In conclusion, seaport transfers in Miami offer a blend of convenience, excitement, and exploration for travelers embarking on cruises or seeking transportation along the city's vibrant waterfront. By understanding the different transportation options available, planning ahead, and exploring local insights, navigating Miami's waterfront for seaport transfers can be a seamless and enjoyable part of your travel experience. Dessert Ridge, Phoenix, Arizona
Since Phil Dwyer was in the picture, Mom wanted us all to have dinner together in the dining room, and we would usually have it in the living room, watching trash TV or listening to the radio.
I didn't like Phil much, but he made my mom happy. I only disliked him because he can be small-minded, which can rub off on my mom. It's a chameleon effect. Whoever she spends time with for more than a few hours tends to mirror their interests and beliefs.
No matter how much my mom has changed, one thing hasn't changed. She loves and adores me, and I know it. She must have seen me playing around with the grilled corn on my plate. We had just gotten back from the church service. I don't mind the church and all, but it's hateful in spirit. At least the church Phil goes to.
"You okay, sweetie?" Mom asked me to nudge my shoulder, and I forced a smile. I've been thinking hard about the engagement, like dinner the other week and the announcement when Phil was drafted to the Marlins.
"You haven't touched your empanadas all dinner... Bells, you aren't getting food shyness again, are you?" Mom asked me, confused. I used to fear eating in front of people. Phil always had a look of disgust when it came to me.
"No, Mama, I am okay," I mumbled. She was so happy, and I didn't want to change the mood. "I... have been thinking a lot about the move to Florida,"
"Are you worried about what happened to Adelaide?" She asked. Adelaide was one of my best friends before she moved to Tampa. She is a lesbian and isn't shy at all about it. She had gotten a girlfriend and was holding her hand in public and got hate-crimed, scolding hot coffee was thrown into her and her girlfriend's faces.
"I won't lie and say that doesn't scare me a little," I said, looking down.
It's been two months since I turned 18. I had my name legally changed from Beaufort to Bella. Mom wasn't thrilled about it, but when she got time to think, she helped me pick out some dresses... though I'm not a dress type of girl.
"I don't want to hurt your feelings..." I sighed, afraid as she could be quite emotional. She and Phil had been trying to get pregnant, so her hormones were all over the place.
"What is it, Bea-Bells," she said, concerned. She was still trying to get used to the name change. It was easier to call me Bells because that has been my nickname since I was a baby. My middle name is Bellamy, and they used to put bells on me because I would tend to run off.
"Well... I was thinking that you have had sole custody of me since I was 8... and that it might be nice if I went to stay with Charlie," I said, and she made a confused face, "He and I haven't gotten to see each other for a while, and he has been supportive with me coming out and all,"
"Are you sure Bea- er... I mean, Bella, you hate Forks and the cold, wet atmosphere," she looked at me concerned, "Is this your Father's idea? I am going to have to call him,"
"No, Mama, this is my idea, I promise... I miss him," I shrugged and looked down at my plate, "I do remember a few people from Forks, and I don't know anyone from Miami..." I combed some hair out of my face, "Plus, I hate humidity more than the cold. Remember when we went to the Bahamas on that one vacation?" I asked, and she laughed at the memory.
"Yeah, when we got off the plane in the Keys to go to the Cruise Ship Port, your hair poofed up in seconds," she covered her mouth, laughing and hugging me. "Well, Baby... if this is really what you want, I will call your father after dinner and work out everything before the High School starts over there."
"That's okay, Mama, I will call him," I hugged her back and started eating. I tend not to get hungry when there is a lot on my mind. I wasn't looking at him, but Phil looked ecstatic about this; he is one of those stepfathers who doesn't want any stepkids.
I didn't want to leave my mom to live with my Father, but I didn't want to move to Florida even more. What happened to Adelaide shook me up. She has 3rd-degree burns still healing from that incident.
No place was safe for people like me, but I would feel safe since my Father is the sheriff of Forks. I don't know the intolerance of Washington, but I do know that my Father has done his best to support me.
Charlie is an old soul who never left the small town he was raised in, so it surprised me when he was so supportive of me when I came out to him over a letter. He doesn't know how to do anything other than call me on his landline or send a letter, but he has been very supportive. It will be awkward because I haven't seen him in person for three years.
We both have a problem with social awkwardness, even with each other. Mama told me I got much of my personality from him and his looks. I get his complexion. The only thing I got from my mom was her caramel hair and green eyes.
When we finished dinner, Mom asked me if I wanted this before I could leave my room. Another reason I wanted to move is to get rid of all of her excuses for having a fun time. She was so young when she married me and didn't have a chance to have a good time.
I pulled my phone off the charger and called dad, "Hello?" Charlie asked when he answered the phone.
"Hey, Dad... did I wake you up?" I asked, forgetting that it was an hour ahead in Washington.
"Oh Bella, Hey Sweetie, this is a surprise... you don't normally call me this late," Charlie asked. I couldn't help but smile when he used the name I told him. "Not complaining, I just- er... is everything okay?"
"Yes, Dad, don't worry... your um, you know how Mom is getting married soon and moving to Florida,"
"Yes..." he said sadly, though I knew it wasn't because of the wedding. He may be sad at the thought of me moving farther away than Mom getting married again. He had been over her for a while now.
"Well, Um... I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind if I moved in with you and finished School in Forks?" I asked and then got a little nervous when he didn't answer immediately. I didn't think about him wanting to live with me now that I was out. Forks are quite a small town, though he doesn't seem the type to worry about image. I was freaking out from the lack of talking, "Um... You-"
"Of course, Bella... You can move in with me! I can buy you a plane ticket right now if you want!" he said excitedly. I hadn't heard him this excited for anything other than him watching sports.
"Well, I would like to spend a little more time with Mama before she moves, and I have to tell my friends bye... I can use the money I have saved for a truck and college to buy a plane ticket,"
"No-No Bella, you keep your money, and I will buy your ticket," he quickly said, sounding happy. It was a relief he was so happy. I know my Father loves me, but I know if I had lived alone for so long. "Just tell me the day, and I will have everything ready,"
   "The 23rd?"
"Yes, that is okay. School will start the next week... I will have your transcripts and registered at the high School soon,"
   "Love you, Charlie,"
"Love you too, Bells," he said. Please Comment, Vote, and add this story to your reading lists.

This is 100% the Democrats own making
This is 100% the Democrats own making, they were so blinded by her promises to get Trump, they didn’t vet her. If this was a Republican we would have known about the corruption prior to the 2020 election. This case has a real possibility of falling apart and Democrat voters have only themselves to blame.
If Trump is reelected in Nov he will be the most well vetted politician in American history. He is not perfect by any means BUT every possible allegation against him is on the table.
This seems to be a common theme in Democrat offices. After getting elected you use your position to rack up the cash and then give it to family and lovers to wash it, then you take a cut back.
Direct Quotes:
The all-day hearing escalated steadily throughout the day, culminating with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis taking the witness stand for a combative brawl with defense attorneys that drew several rebukes from the judge.
There was talk of cash exchanging hands from Willis to Wade, where they store their money at home, CashApp usage, and their spending habits – all to get to the question of whether Willis benefitted financially from putting him on her staff.
The hearing will continue Friday with Willis still on the stand. The judge said he does not plan to issue a ruling on Friday.
The risks could not be greater, and Willis’ credibility is on the line.
Things quickly went off the rails. Willis didn’t act much like a traditional witness and was more like a prosecutor, arguing with the defense attorneys, raising objections, making legal arguments and even having exchanges with the judge. She even raised her voice at one point.
This led to a few rebukes from McAfee, who urged her and other attorneys in the courtroom to maintain “professionalism” and to not “talk over each other.” Willis repeatedly accused some of the defense attorneys of peddling lies – before and after the judge’s admonishment.
“You’ve lied in this. … I think you lied right here,” Willis said to attorney Ashleigh Merchant, pointing to copies of filings that raised accusations of self-dealing and nepotism.
On the stand, Wade stuck to his earlier claim – in a sworn affidavit submitted to the court – that his romantic relationship with Willis began in early 2022 and that they split travel and vacation expenses.
Bryant-Yeartie said she observed “hugging, kissing, close affection” between Willis and Wade prior to 2022
Wade and Willis have offered a simple explanation for why there’s essentially no paper trail to back up his claims they split expenses: Willis used cash.
Credit card statements submitted in Wade’s divorce proceedings show he paid for two flights for them in recent years, to San Francisco and Miami. They also took lavish trips to Belize, the Bahamas and some Caribbean cruises.
Trump lawyer Steven Sadow asked Willis about the breakup, eliciting an answer that revealed sexist remarks that Wade allegedly made to Willis in the past. She said, he “is used to women that, as he told me one time, ‘the only thing a woman can do for him is make him a sandwich.’” She explained that this was a part of their breakup – but it also was a defense to the self-dealing claims against her.
Nothing that happened Thursday undercut the factual allegations against Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, or the other GOP allies who are accused of trying to overturn the 2020 election.
State prosecutors want that judge to issue a $370 million fine against Trump, after finding that Trump and his company committed significant fraud against banks and insurers by lying about his net worth and assets. They also want Trump barred from doing business in New York.

2023 Bahama Cruise, Part 15, April 4. Grey’s Bight, Long Island.
Tumblr media
From the Rime of the Ancient Mariner:
“Water, water everywhere, nor any drop to drink.”
Monday the 3rd was spent working on the water maker. Spent 3 hours on Facebook with the experts troubleshooting our problem. One guy was in Italy and one was in California. After much checking this, and checking that. It came down to a trick from the dealer in California. “Kink the brine out flow hose, to build up pressure”. Sure I will try anything at this stage. Nancy has already checked flight schedules to Miami to acquire parts.
That fixed the problem! Then we made water for 4 hours. Beautiful anchorage and no one here. Truly without the internet we could not have fixed our problem. We have made approximately 98 gallons of water in a month. That would have been 16 trips to a water faucet with our 6 gallon jug. And that would have been a lot of work.
Tumblr media
Sunrise in our anchorage. With our water tanks full the evening sunset even provided a small green flash on the horizon. Not as evident as we normally see. But still a green flash.
Checking with Nancy’s family in Fargo, N.D.. They are about to be hit with up to 25 inches of heavy wet snow. That only makes us appreciate our cruse in the Bahamas that much more.
Tumblr media
We were able to pick some wild Tamarinds. Maybe 5 or 6. So many on the tree were either too high to pick, or had holes drilled in them by insects. The hole should have been a clue. Later in the day I noticed a wiggling larvae on the sole of the boat. Then two more in the cockpit. Been here a month and no larvae on the floor. Two hours alter the Tamarinds are in the boat and we have larvae. Humm….
Tumblr media
This is a West Indian Chank shell ( Turbinella angulata ) . Nancy found several on the beach, but most were in bad shape.
Tumblr media
The locals still sponge some. Here the strings of sheepswool sponges (Hippospongia lachne) dry out near the dinghy dock. These must have been here awhile, because they don’t smell at all.
Tumblr media
These are sheepswool sponges below our boat. They are $20 on Amazon. Why not get a couple now.
Tumblr media
Nancy takes a filet knife to a sponge below the boat. There are two ways to take a sponge. Either cut it off at the bottom, or use a hand rake to rip it from the bottom. Either way, by leaving a section of the sponge attached to the bottom. It will grow back. Very sustainable aquaculture. The water here is very clear for two reasons. Hard rock ground with no sediment. The sponges filter the water making it clear.
Tumblr media
This is what is left on the bottom after Nancy cut the sponge off. It will regrow. This one was 5-6 years old, as determined by its diameter. You should see the small fish showing up for a free meal. The fish are smart, after a while they just followed her around.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nancy frolicking around the boat. We pulled anchor and sailed north 5 miles to Thompson Bay. There are 8 boats here. For once the monohulls out number the catamarans. One lonely catamaran here. Full moon night!
S/V Sea Breeze, Thompson Bay, Long Island, Bahama.

History and Culture Disney made an effort to work closely with Bahamians to infuse Lookout Cay with the essence of their art, celebrations, ecology, and heritage. The destination provides both Disney magic and an authentic showcase of Bahamian people and culture. Here are some ways they did it: - Architecture and design: The buildings and public spaces feature bright colors, seashell accents, and shapes inspired by nature to reflect Bahamian style. Local artists contributed murals and sculptures. - Goombay Cultural Center: This area pays homage to the Junkanoo festival, a vibrant Bahamian tradition. It has decor reminiscent of Junkanoo parades and offers cultural entertainment. - Port adventures: Excursions allow guests to explore the island's ecology, history, and culture, like the South Eleuthera Eco & Cultural Tour by 4x4 vehicle. - Shopping: The Wind & Waves Traders boutique sells locally made Bahamian crafts and artisan goods for guests to bring home. - Community partnerships: Disney collaborated with local artists, historians, tour operators, and schools to develop the destination in an authentic way. For example, Disney donated funds and expertise to establish community gardens at a local school. Cultural Experiences - Junkanoo festival: The Goombay Cultural Center celebrates Junkanoo with decor, music, costumes, masks, and more. Junkanoo is an iconic Bahamian festival known for its colorful parades, costumes, and music. - Goombay music: Goombay is a genre of Bahamian music that will be featured. It uses drums made from cans and skins for a unique sound. The cultural center is named after it. - Storytelling: Various spaces like the arrival point Mabrika Cove (named after the Taino welcome greeting) aim to share Bahamian stories through design details inspired by nature, folklore, and more. - Local arts and crafts: The Treasures of Eleuthera shop will sell locally created gifts, art, and crafts for guests to experience and purchase. - Natural landscapes: Spaces like Triton's Trumpet Stage gazebo showcase inspiration from the island's tropical landscapes and natural wonders.
Tumblr media
Differences Between Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay While the two share similarities as tropical private islands, Lighthouse Point promises a more culturally immersive experience focused on showcasing authentic Bahamian essence. Its location and partnerships make it distinct from the fully Disney-owned Castaway Cay. Here's a quick list of differences: Location - Lighthouse Point is located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, about 114 miles southeast of Castaway Cay. Ownership - Castaway Cay is a separate private island owned solely by Disney. Lighthouse Point is a private port/destination that Disney purchased, but it relies on partnerships with the Bahamian government and businesses. Size - Castaway Cay spans 1,000 acres. Lighthouse Point is 700 acres. Design and Experience - Both offer pristine beaches, family-friendly amenities, water activities, etc. But Lighthouse Point aims for a more authentic Bahamian cultural experience through design details, shopping, entertainment, and excursions. Exclusivity - Castaway Cay can only be accessed by Disney cruise guests. Lighthouse Point will also be exclusive to Disney, but is more integrated with Eleuthera island. Expansion - Lighthouse Point will supplement Castaway Cay to support Disney's growing cruise fleet. It offers a new destination more convenient to home ports like Port Canaveral.
Tumblr media
Conclusion Lookout Cay offers the perfect blend of natural island beauty, exciting excursions, family fun, and adult relaxation. With pristine beaches, vibrant marine life, cultural celebrations, world-class service, and classic Disney storytelling, this Bahamian escape invites discovery around every corner. As Disney's newest private island destination, Lookout Cay sets the stage for making unforgettable memories under the Caribbean sun. Whether you crave a leisurely day on the beach sipping tropical drinks or a jam-packed itinerary of watersports, sightseeing, and entertainment, this island paradise has something special for every guest.
