just like. the way hickman writes rich forced me to see how he views comic in general. he obviously likes rich enough to make him a main character in this event, but just as obviously he doesn't actually care about rich's character history. he likes the idea of a seasoned, tired "space cop" who can play the straight man to peter's antics. anything other than that would require him to acknowledge or god forbid build on other writers' work, so it gets jettisoned. there's a weird dissonance between his blatant disregard of anything that came before him and the fact that if nothing came before him he wouldn't have a career to begin with. he has his story to tell and he clearly believes he's above incorporating other people's work into his own. he loves comics but i don't think he respects them very much

genius keurig hack

if you have one and you want to make hot cocoa with the swiss miss pods, put a packet of actual swiss miss hot cocoa powder in your cup before you make the keurig cocoa, this makes the flavor stronger and you actually get marshmallows in it

bonus tip: if you put in mint ice cream (without the chocolate chips ofc) after the powder but before the keurig cocoa, it adds a subtle minty complexity and actually makes the drink creamier. and you can adjust the heat of the keurig cocoa before starting so the ice cream doesn't neutralize the heat
