introduction perhaps?
My name is Stevie or Kelly, I use any pronouns and prefer neutral language most of the time! I don’t really like labelling my gender or sexuality. I’m a mediocre artist and writer, a plant parent, vinyl collector, a saxophonist, a cat enjoyer and Just A Little Guy. I’m also autistic!
My interests have always seemed to revolve around music, as I am very much sensory seeking when it comes to audio. My favourite artists at the moment are Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip, The Highwaymen (and their solo careers), Melanie (Safka), and Stompin’ Tom Connors. I also have a shrine to Willie Nelson and I’m a recovering Bob Dylan fan /j (I still like him)
As for other forms of media, I’m a big fan of The Muppets and Fraggle Rock, South Park (only Ned and Jimbo and the Marsh family at this point), Garfield, King of The Hill, Stagecoach 1986, BTTF trilogy, Stardew Valley and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.
You can find me on discord, toyhouse, instagram and twitter as shitandpissworldtour! Here’s my carrd https://canadianstereotype.carrd.co/ . My art is all tagged under #stevie draws and my commissions are always open

Underrated “extremely specific situation song” is “The Old Apartment” by The Barenaked Ladies, because from the very first line- “Broke into the old apartment”- the entire song is engineered to parse as a depiction of a Harry DuDois-teir toxic breakup, with the narrator having broken into his exes apartment to desperately harass her about “old times.” And then in the second-to-last verse the narrator clarifies that all that actually happened is that he and his girlfriend moved to a better apartment, and are in fact still happily together, and this entire time he’s been singing at the extremely afraid and confused current tenants who’ve never seen him before in their life and can’t understand why he’s broken down the door to their apartment in order to yell at them about their shitty taste in interior design.

“Taylor Swift used he/him pronouns in a song once, this clearly means they’re a GNC lesbian icon!” Bestie if queer subtext in a song meant that an artist was queer we would have been celebrating Steven Page’s transness in 1992

had a dream(since I don’t visualize it’s just words) where there was a deviant art Mary Sue type character in bnl and I woke up fully convinced she was real
I woke up with a memory from the night before of texting a friend about this character and saying she didn’t get the credit she deserved and also that she left the band because Tyler bit her
