@thunder-wolf64 is working on an AU in which one of Arti's pups (the green one, here named Sizzling Waters) gets adopted by scavs, and later reunites with his, erm, mentally unstable mom. If you are a reader who wants to see an AU with evil Arti, you will certainly enjoy Thunder's creations.

@threestarsaboveclouds is an iterator ask-blog that belongs to @delta-orionis, their posts are LONG and full of lore and I am honestly in awe people like Delta give so much to the RW fandom - it's free, high quality entertainment done purely for hobby. I have a lot of respect for their work. Besides, TSAC's color palette is very striking, which is what has initially drawn me to this AU.

@ask-the-colony-tree-siblings is @mushroominaforest's ask blog, and in this AU Arti and Hunter are siblings! Also, Mushroom's art style is a treat and immediately recognizable and I'm happy when i see it pop up in RW tag.

@firecracker-pup is run by @batnip; in a way it's a sibling-askblog to mine because both of our AUs center around the reinterpretation of Artificer's blue pup.

Honorable mentions:

@spotsupstuff's takes on RW lore and all their work surrounding iterators (my biggest blind spot) had my jaw drop to the ground and roll off into the seas - it's brilliant. I kid you not when I say I have +20 tabs open right now waiting there so I can binge-read Spot's posts once I get a free evening. There's so much of it... and I am ready to feast.

@opashoo has been working on a conlang for slugcats that I am 100% going to use in my AU. If you want to see amazing RW animations, art, and lore discussions, please follow her!

I'll admit, I feel like a lot of ask-blogs have died in the last 6 months? A handful of artists that were considered big - left the fandom. I'm not quite sure why that happened, but I'm hoping that the Watcher DLC brings some of them back (maybe).

I feel bad for reusing the same art but MAN I'M GLAD YOU LIKE THEM!!

So in short, he is basically one of Arti's slugpups from their campaign, but if said slugpup survived!! Their abilities are more water-based compared to Artificer's (so they can turn spears into harpoons or electric spears, batnip into bubble weed for easier swimming, rubbish into pearls with heavy cost of pips, etc.)!

I can share more lore but in short they are a brute!! I even have a WIP where it shows their voice HC!

Batman: Return of The Caped Crusaders and Batman vs. Two-Face - Movie Review

I honestly did not even know either of these two films existed until a day ago. Upon finding out, I was really curious to watching both movies. I will say that for that for those who love the Adam West Batman series, both these movies are probably a delight. Its very much rooted in the camp of the 60's tv show, both in terms of plot and performances.

I think I enjoyed Batman vs. Two-Face a bit more but there is quite a bit of fun to be had in Batman: The Caped Crusaders with Adam West's Batman going bad. I believe he even gets to use some dialogue from The Dark Knight Returns. Both movies assemble the same gang of villains, with Joker, Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman plotting some ridiculous scheme. In Batman: The Caped Crusaders, the villains make Batman go bad, all in order to eventually rob the Gotham Art Museum. In the process, we have Catwoman infecting Batman with "Batnip", which slowly turns Batman more aggressive and angry as he takes over Gotham city and every single major position in the city. It is deliriously silly stuff. Batman vs. Two-Face plot is basically Two-Face trying to infect everyone in Gotham with the same evil gas that created him. Batman vs. Two Face does at least have an element of mystery behind it, because for a while it is not clear if Harvey is Two-Face or if it is some impostor. And there is a bit more of a personal connection between Bruce and Harvey and an ongoing resentment for Robin over their friendship. In both movies, there is also a romance between Batman and Catwoman which is pretty funny. Both movies also mock how hopelessly inept the Gotham Police Department is when both the Chief and the Commissioner can't do anything without Batman.

When it comes to negatives, the camp does get a bit too silly at times. Almost every second line in both movies is an "old chum" or "Gosh Batman" "Jee golly". The movies are littered with alliterations throughout. After a while, it does get on your nerves a bit because it crosses the line between good natured callback to the elements of the 60's show, to straight parody. Return of the Caped Crusaders is a just 10 minutes too long. Its a movie that probably should have been streamlined a bit. Batman vs. Two-Face is better in that way. The film also makes Batman look like an idiot at times. The side character of Aunt Harriet also gets a little irritating in both movies after a while.

In terms of voice acting, the highlights are definitely Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar returning as Batman, Robin, and Catwoman respectively. You can definitely sense Adam West's age at times since he obviously is peaking slower now than he would in the 60's, but it feels like he was having a lot of fun voicing the role. Both these movies were the last work he did. Similarly, Burt Ward is on the money as Robin. His voice is still surprisingly youthful. Julie Newmar is lovely and seductive as Catwoman. Lee Meriwether also gets to have a Catwoman moment in the second movie. There are some other highlights like William Shatner as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Thomas Lennon as the Police Chief, Jim Ward as Gordon, Steven Weber as Alfred, Wally Wingert as Riddler, William Salyers as Penguin, and Jeff Bergman as the Joker.

Overall, these are movies you have to be in the right mood for. Objectively, they are very cheesy and silly, but they are largely meant to be because that's what the 60's show was like. If the 60's show and the 66 movie is appealing, then these two movies will be too. I will say Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders is around a 6/10 and Batman vs. Two-Face is a 7/10.
