Headcanons for Quizz bc someone asked me if i could & Batwheels has a throat grip on me so here we go

Hcs for our Quizzmeister

1. Likes to do the puzzles and quizzes on cereal boxes and in magazines, absolutely loves Wordle, Kahoot! and word searching puzzles, hes always interested in games especially if they involve riddles. He loooooves riddles 🙃

2. Reads gossip online

3. Actually has a really good sense of humor & understands every joke he's told (hes proud of that. Hes a kid. Let the bean be)

4. Reads fanfiction sometimes & complains about how inaccurate it is to the characters ALL THE TIME

5. Does junk fights and graffiti with Prank

6. Listens to Tobu, Jim Yosef, Eternxlkz, KORDHELL and Avicii, (yeah he likes electro)

7. Is actually a very good strategic thinker

8. Watches dubbed versions of his favourite series and movies to learn new languages, except he genuinly learns new words, refuses to use Google Translate for it (he says hes too smart for it, but he's actually scared of the Duolingo owl)

9. Starts scribbling random things when he's bored & flies fast in circles when hes panicking

10. Hates the 'i always wanted a brother' song from mufasa with EVERY FIBRE OF HIS BEING, it actually makes him agressive (thats why Prank loves to play it when he's around Quizz)

Also tiny side note: this thing that came to my mind is that Quizz likes the smell of cinnamon. For no reason i thought of that 🙃💅

Watching Batwheels is fun, but it makes me realize that shows for 4 year old audiences don't really seem to have the most cohesive sense of logic. Do humans know the vehicles are alive? If they do, how many of them do they know are alive? If they don't, why haven't they figured it out yet? These questions sometimes register with me, because I am a man who likes some small amount of logic to my stories. It doesn't need to be completely logical. I like Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz, for example. But I still like to have all my questions answered and addressed.

Also, I don't know how they chose which villains to have which cars. And how they designed those cars. They could release an art book one day, just because it'd be interesting to see the thought process. Like Riddler having a helicopter. That one feels the weirdest to me. Because I never think of Riddler as the high flying type. Due to the Lego Video Games, I always think of Scarecrow and his stupid crop dusting Biplane. If the show ever needs a halloween episode, Scarecrow and his Biplane are there. That Biplane is the only reason child me knew what biplanes are. So y'know...why not use it someday?

Honestly, he's a chaotic caregiver, he's impulsive but more restrained than Toyman or Joker. He's not above being overstimulating (for the more neurodivergent of us) just so he can sing lullabies to calm us down.

Nicknames are usually music themed: "My little music note!" "My Melody" etc.

Does NOT know how to drug properly so most of the time when he drugs you it's too much or too little for you. Sometimes when it's too much, you just fall asleep instead of being drowsy, and too little makes you yawn but not drowsy.

He would have a little bit set up before kidnapping but not a lot. Like he has a room for you but that's about it, there's a lot of stuff that a kid could get hurt on and not a lot of kid safe food around either. By Kid safe I mean more than just the junk he feeds himself and deludes himself that he can sustain his music career by just eating snacks. (He cannot.)

In the room is mostly just a bed and musical instruments that he already had laying around. He's very pushy about you becoming like him in the sense that he makes you play with music and focus on that rather than anything you might actually want to do.

Bam and Prank go on a night run (Batwheels fanfic)

GUYS its almost midnight over here in Holland and i said im hoing to bed early tonight cuz i have a test for German tomorrow but i really wanna write fanfictions about Batwheels, like my urge to do it has taken over so here i am, but its late and i need to sleep but i dont want to sleep but its late and i need to sleep-

Anyway, this is just a bored fanfic, it doesnt contain any smut or explicit content, because these are cars AND underage, its just "i promise we are friends" stuff. So here ya go :)

Fanfic: Bam and Prank go on a night race (DONT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY PLEASE)

Bam felt shivers running trough his body hearing Prank laugh in the distance. It was late at night and he had sneaked out of the batcave to meet up with Prank at the Gotham Pier, like they promised. It was weird, because Bam had noticed Prank was becoming nicer to him, it seemed. The more missions went by, the more the fighting between him and Prank became a rivalry. At least, thats what he thought, maybe Prank insisted on this whole thing because he wanted to mock Bam for being a "scaredy bat" or something else silly. Or maybe he was just being nice. You never really knew for sure with Prank.

"HEY THERE BAT BRO!!" a loud, hyper voice knocked Bam out of his thoughts, startling him. "There you are! I knew you would come!" The Joker Van shot out of his hiding spot, laughing like a maniac, driving a circle around Bam and braking right in front of him. "Sorry, did i scare you? Still a scaredy bat?" He grinned.

Bam sighed. "Prank, why did you bring me here?"

"I wanna race you!" Prank giggled. He then reared and closed in on Bam.

"Its almost midnight!" Bam said, driving backwards. "People are sleeping! We can't just drive around in the city like idiots, we are way too loud, we'll wake everybody up!"

"Pff, youre no fun, bat boy," Prank said while rolling his eyes. "Stop being goody two tires for once, Bam. Its Saturday, tomorrow you can sleep all you want."

"How do i know that?" Bam asked.

"Because every dumbo knows what a weekend is," Prank replied.

"No, i mean, how do i know you and the rest of the zoomers won't be causing some kind of mayhem tomorrow, like you always do?" Bam said, closing in on Prank.

Prank wasnt intimidated. Instead he just grinned. "Because tomorrow, i will be sleeping like a bear, because i will stay up all night!" He then took a sharp turn and drove around while laughing.

"You know how bad that is for you, right?" Bam tried, realizing how "goody two tires" he was sounding. It embarrased him. "Oh, what am i saying..?"

Prank broke and gave Bam an unimpressed look. "Stop saying stuff like that, your killing my vibe, bro."

Bam swallowed.

"You know what you need?" Prank drove up to Bam. "A weekend race."

"Trough the city?"

"No, on Saturn," Prank said sarcastically. "Of course trough the city. More ground, more fun!" Prank took some distance, giving Bam more space. "So, you down?"

Bam thought for a minute. He knew the others weren't gonna be happy. MOE would ask him why he wasnt fully charged, before he knew Batman might need him... Bam shook his head. He just had to get home on time. "Yeah. Yes, i'm doing it!"

A smile appeared on Pranks face. "Yes! Finally! Lets go, Bamster!" He suddenly went full gas and drove into the city. Bam followed him.

"WEEEEEEEEE!!!" Prank cheered, knocking over a traffic cone. "HAHAHAHAHA!!"

"Youre having the time of your life, arent you?" Bam said while trying his best to keep up with Prank.

"I love night drives!" Prank yelled enthousiastically. "I can knock over every traffic cone and roadway sign, throw bricks at traffic lights, jump into fountains and start the junk fights i never have in the Scrap Yard!"

"Whats a junk fight?" Bam asked.

"Basically you play in a place with like containers and those little buildings with signs that always tell you you will die if you touch it, and you throw junk at each other," Prank explained while they took a turn. "Everyone wears a red little lamp, and when that lamp gets knocked off of you by a peace of junk, youre out. The last one driving wins." Prank giggled. "Its really fun, Bam! Especially when you play it without lamps and its just slap happy madness until everyone is tired and covered in junk."

"Does it have rules?" Bam asked, expecting a hyper "NOPE, HAHAHA!" But Prank answered:

"Only one. You can't physically touch eath other. If you lose a light when someone like knocks you over or something, it doesnt count. Oh yeah and the peeps that can fly either drive or can't fly above the rest. That rule we made for Quizz, because he kept taking massive amounts of junk and then throwing it at us from above. Wasnt fair."

"So thats why you made that rule?" Bam said.

"No, first we built a catapult and shot a junk ball at him, but it knocked him out of the sky and he couldnt fly for 2 days. Nice karma, but he wasnt happy. Then we made the rule." Prank laughed hysterically. "That was really fun! Well, maybe not for Quizz, but i have never laughed that hard in my life!"

Bam laughed at the thought of Prank and his friends shooting Quizz out of the sky with a ball of junk. As dumb as it sounded, Prank seemed to have much fun in his life despite committing so much crimes.

Prank jumped on a pair of dumpsters to climb up on a brick wall, on his way too the roof of the building they were at while giggling mischieviously.

"What are you doing? Bam said.

"I'm going up to the roof," Prank giggled as he used his grappling hook to go up. "I do this a lot."

Bam followed him again. He had never stayed out this late. It was silent in Gotham and normally he would be sleeping while charging in his garage, but now he was climbing to a rooftop of some building with Prank.

When they reached the top after a while, Bam saw it was lower then he thought. They could jump off of this.

"Whats the most fun thing you have ever done, Bam?" Prank asked while shaking off dirt from his tires.

"Well, our missions are always fun!" Bam said. "But i remember, last halloween we.. drove around town, chasing each other with lanterns and bringing candy around. Batman was driving with me, Batgirl was standing on Bibi throwing around candies and it was Robins first time driving Buff. We all had so much fun!" After that we kept laughing and talking about it when batman, batgirl and Robin went to sleep. Buff was super proud of Robin even though he had to assist a few times, he said, and Bibi wouldnt stop about Batgirl standing on her seating!" Bam smiled. "I wish we could do that next halloween."

"Wow," Prank said, surprising Bam, because Prank had actually listened to his story.

"Its cool, right?" Bam said.

"Yes," Prank said. "But honestly, youre always so disciplined, so sharp and super mature. I didnt really think you had that much fun in your life."

"I do wish i had a little more freedom like you sometimes. I always have to be near the batcave in case batman needs me, i have to drop everything i'm doing when theres an alert, i sometimes feel like i don't get much time to be a kid." Bam said. "From the moment i got my motherboard i had to take everything seriously. From that moment on already i had to be grown up. But i'm a kid." Bam stared at the street below him."

Again, Prank had listened. "Wow, Bam, i didnt know that." He stared too. "Sorry."

"No, its just, i love my work, but just a day or two in the garage, without training, alerts or someone behind my wheel, would just be really nice." Bam sighed. "Do you ever think that?"

"I always do what i want." Prank replied. "I never really have restrictions. Sure i was brought to life just so i could commit crimes, but last time Joker drove me, it was trough the McDonald's drive thru. And i live at a junkyard. I'm basically free to do whatever i want."

Bam sighed. "Can we continue driving?"

"What? Wanna go home?"

"No." Bam sighed again. "I want to drive as fast as i can. I realized how much i want that i cant do now, and i want to have fun and drive it off." He started his engine.

"Ooooh, there we go!" Prank revved his engine. "I'm following you!"

Bam jumped of the roof and zoomed through the street, not thinking of everything he was gonna knock over, not thinking of his route. For one minute, he just didnt care. After turning, he heard Prank whooping behind him and shouting encouragements.

"Fas - ter! Fas - ter!" Prank did a wheelie and catched up to Bam, driving beside him. "Youre fast, batbro!"

"I can go even faster!" Bam laughed while zooming off. "WOOOOHOOOOO!!"

"Go Bam!" Prank shouted. "Drive it out, bro!"

Bam found himself laughing. He was really enjoying this. He never thought he would drive late at night at full speed, especially not with Prank. But this was fun.

Prank was driving beside him again. They were both yelling and laughing as they zoomed down the dark streets of Gotham. This was definitley one of the best nights of Bams life. It didnt top the Halloween drive, but its was very fun and resfreshing. This was definitley happening again.

- Next day -

Bams eyes stung as he opened them. He yawned and stretched his wheels. They felt quite sore from all the driving last night.

Bam drove out of the garage where he found Bibi, Buff and Redbird playing a game. "Hey, Bam!" Buff drove up to him. "Slept well?"

"Yes, slept great," Bam nodded sleepily. "N you?"

"I stayed up reading comics with Bibi. Don't tell BC, please." Buff whispered.

"Bam?"

Bam turned around to see MOE beside him. "Oh, hey MOE!"

"Bam, you gotta charge up, you only have only 8% on your meter!" MOE gasped.

"Oh. Yeah. I - i'll do it." Bam drove into his garage while MOE attached him to the charger. "Totally worth it," he thought with a smile.

Luckily, neither MOE, BC or the other Batwheels questioned him. Bam rested a bit more, read some comics with Bibi and stood charging for a few hours, but not even halfway through he had already fallen asleep to his friends singing a song with BC.

"You gotta ro -o - o - oll with the changes..."

I like the idea of Joker Junior; but I hate what they actually made it into. I love the idea of Joker having a teenage sidekick who dresses like him and views him as a dad (the way robin and batman get along, only flipped around). I would love that. That would be adorable. I did not want it to be the story of a kidnapped child who was beaten, mind raped and then forcibly disfigured. Shame on you, Paul Dini and Bruce Timm. Shame on you for ruining something that could've been so silly and fun. To be fair, I already hated 99% of Batman Beyond (i found it boring as a kid and hated the one episode with mister freeze that i remembered), but I hate this most of all.

Joker Junior should just be like a Robin for Joker. Like that one episode of The Batman (2004) which I haven't seen in years. That one where Joker recruits a kid from Batgirl's school to be his sidekick. Prank. Huh. Wonder if that one off sidekick's name inspired the people at batwheels when they named joker's car that. Either way, I want Joker Junior to be used, but I want him to be reclaimed as an innocent icon. I want to burn that dark story of abuse and brainwashing to the ground. I think that Paul Dini and Bruce Timm are really sick for that one. No sicker than Jim Starlin killing off Jason Todd, but still. Abuse of children is still abuse of children, and you should not be allowed to use it for your media. It does not make me like the story. It just makes me uncomfortable.

"Tough Buff Blues" is a GREAT episode

I have talked about how i like the episode Tough Buff Blues, from Batwheels. There are so many reasons this episode works as well as it does. I will talk about it here.

Warning: Spoilers for Batwheels!

I have never seen a show for kids handle this topic!?

Never have i seen a kids show that covers unwanted nicknames and charity donation. But this episode is still my favourite of season one. Buff, after defeating a villain, gets called "Tough Buff" by the Batwheels as a nickname. The other Batwheels think Buff is okay with this as he doesnt say anything and he replies normally when they speak to him with 'tough Buff". But the nickname actually really bothers Buff and he doesnt dare to speak up...

Wich results in him driving away from the situation...

Showing accurately how a child Buffs age would react if they dont dare to speak up or don't know what to say.

This episode, and especially this moment, really highlights how uncomfortable Buff is and how much all of this really bothers him. Buff has trouble handling his frustrations and he doesnt know how to deal with some emotions properly. He continues to hide in his garage and asks Bam to go away when he asks if Buff is alright, wich ends up in Buff finally saying:

"i don't like being called Tough Buff"

The Batwheels, genuinly surprised, ask him why, and he tells them he's more then just a big tough truck and it bothers him when thats all people think he is.

Then the best part happens

Because then the Batwheels help Buff feel better by giving him examples of "Well you also like to do this" and "Well youre also good at that," showing Buff that they know he is more then just a big strong monstertruck.

The Batwheels then make up to Buff, Buff admits he should have said something, and the episode goes on.

Give. Me. More. Shows. Like. This.

Good parts?? Yuh

Buffs reaction & body language

You can clearly see Buff is not comfortable, but he's trying to hide it. He is animated like he is unconfortable, but a moment later he puts on a happy face and does what hes asked or he replies to what he was told in a normal way. Buffs body language is animated and shown very very well, i saw how uneasy Buff was but his attempts at hiding it were just as clear.

The Batwheels genuinly not knowing they're bothering Buff & not noticing his signs

The Batwheels clearly mean well in this episode. They call him Tough Buff because they really think he doesnt care but they dont see he does. Its visible to the viewer but not to the fellow characters. They don't notice Buffs slight cringing when they call him Tough, they don't notice the 'uhm.." before he replies to them, and when they start chanting "Tough Buff! Tough Buff!" Around him, they dont see he isnt smiling. I'm 16, i would notice stuff like that, but the Batwheels are really young and they don't notice particular body language immediatly.

Lastly, i did a test with my 7 year old niece who also watches Batwheels...

I let her watch this episode to see what she could see, (we were just watching Batwheels together i asked her if we could watch this episode she agreed) throughout the episode she said things like: "Buff is not happy" "they need to stop calling him that, can't they see he isnt happy?" Wich does prove Buffs body language is clear if a 7 year old even notices. But again, he doesnt show it to the Batwheels, he really hides it.

To me that does kind of show how Buff doesnt know how to handle his frustrations, he clearly WANTS to say something but he doesnt DO it. He's clearly doesnt like it, he doesnt acts like he does like it, he just rolls with it. He wants to do something about it but he doesnt know how. Buffs reaction was realistic and well - done.

I love this episode

Wish more kids shows handled this topic because bro this worked
