Bayvers Transformers X predicon Reader (Part.4)

It was a peaceful day. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, autobots shooting eachother during training. The norm, though, one thing was new.

A gaint 130ft(39 meters) dragon sleeping in the building. It was an old dragon that was named (Y/N) who has joined the autobots after a mission in Egypt.

Woken by a human named Sam and a few other humans. Ever since the mission, they have been here sleeping, help training, sleeping, helping on missions, sleeping.....ya alot of sleeping.

They where old, and everyone new it. Though, they where still able to kick everyone's asses. They knew alot about humans and today's human culter.

Which the autobots found out one faithful day. One of the many human military personnel. Ms. Star (Not real person) came into the building, ready to train the new gaurds.

When she was ready, she turned on the speakers, it started the Playlist of songs.

no one paid mine to them. Optimus and ratchet still doing their thing. Iron hide and jazz still fighting. Bumblebee and same talking away. (Y/N) still snoring away.

That's intel the song California Girls started to play. Everyone watched how (Y/N)'s head shot up and looked at the stereo.

(Y/N): "Frag Yes! Turn that up!!!"

Everyone watches how (Y/N) dances and sings.

Bumblebee and jazz cheer (Y/N) on while iron hide and ratchet look sudpised and are speechless

And optimus.......he was just confused.

Wasent this old predacon just sleeping away? Not being able to wake up from any noise or command?

While he is confused, he is also happy that his autobots are being distracted from the ongoing war.

optimus prime ::

• hes used to this ,, seeing those around him hide their true feelings ,, its often seen due to the war ,, and it brings him grief to see that those around him act this way

• though he knows that humans are more prone to actually show how they feel ,, yet hes come across a few cases where thats not what it is

• you just happen to be one of those ,, where you dont show how you truly feel to those around you

• when he confronts you about it ,, his spark aches at the truth ,, quick to reassure and comfort you that thats not the case

• you dont burden him at all ! nor does it make you sensitive or dramatic ,, it makes you human ,, makes you sentient and makes you who you are

• he holds you close during those times ,, when you happen to loosen up a bit and cry silently ,, hes there for it and reminds you that no matter what others say ,, hes glad you trust him enough to show these feelings

• hes glad that youve opened up to him about this ,, and hes right there for you through it all

jazz ::

• jazz is one of the few who actually doesnt mind showing how he feels or what he thinks ,, its what makes him who he is

• that doesnt mean hes seen those who dont act that way ,, and youre no exception

• he’s more than quick to tell you that he wont think of you in such a way ,, that he wont see you as a burden or dramatic

• when you do become open about your feelings ,, hes more than proud of you for doing so

ironhide ::

• ironhide happens to do it sometimes ,, where he keeps his feelings locked up ,, but only when it’s necessary

• he acts and talks how he feels when its needed ,, speaks for himself and how he feels about something

• and if you happen to do this ,, he’ll help speak for you on some parts ,, if you allow him

• he wont push you to show how you truly feel ,, but he’s definitely there for you whenever you wish to show your true feelings

• he savors the nights when you do ,, when you loosen up and play around a bit ,, it brings him joy to see you happy for once

drift ::

• hes more calm and collected than others ,, though he doesnt hide his emotions ,, and from being around three certain autobots (hound - crosshairs - bumblebee) ,, hes used to seeing those express their feelings quite often

• so upon learning that you hide them ,, hes shocked ,, and wants to know why ,, yet he doesnt push

• he knows that humans are emotional by nature ,, that they show their emotions quite often ,, yet there are times where that isnt the case

• when you do trust him enough to tell him the reason behind it ,, he comforts you ,, spark sadden at what you went through

• he’ll hold you and hush you ,, saying its not true and he wouldnt think any different of you ,, but he wont push you to force your feelings

• when you happen to show them around others ,, he stays silent yet hes happy and proud for you

I decided to set this piece in the Bayverse because I’ve never attempted drawing in that style before, I love how it came out but half way through I was mad at myself lol! OMFG I can hear the chorus of 'JAZZ NO' a mile away. He absolutely got a wrench thrown at his head by Ratchet since now the medic has to think about possible prosthetics for DogDay. If Lennox hasn't put the bots into sensitivity training before, he is now.

I've actually thought about he/she/they optimus before but in that plotline he's half Camian and grew up on the colony world (it's lightly based on a fic I read but in hindsight that fic probably didn't use Camius as the colony world) the plotline naturally y'all know me was based in a TFP/IDW blend continuity

In that plotline, I interpret the Camians being more likely to use she/her pronouns than the cybertronians is because of a language difference, and how their slightly different versions of Cybertronian translate into say English. I HC pretty heavily that Cybertronian as a language is almost entirely gender neutral (or maybe gender null is a better term), and that it's a game of "well this doesn't translate well into earth languages, so we're gonna roll with close-enoughs". Typically, this is a bayverse scenario or bayverse leaning scenario.

So, on account to Optimus in this scenario having spent the first half to ¾ths of his formative years on Camius and having moved to Iacon under Alpha Trion's tutelage, he's taken on the identity markers of both Cybertron and Camius. Does this entire situation mean a backstory shake up! Yes, and that's what happened in the fic I read which i think? Was [The Phoenix of Kaon] ?? Maybe?? Probably.

I've also thought about Jazz taking on she/her pronouns upon arriving to earth and doing some self exploration, and it's always in that scenario after she's been gone a while.

Also, heavily transcoded Megatron! I've ran scenarios for both transmasculine!Megatron (which usually indicate that he figured out his gender identity before the war) and transfeminine!Megatron (which in those ones it's usually a self discovery that happens after the war). I also ran ideas based on that one post about Cybertron having had 12/13 different genders "and Megatron is none of them" is a phrase I see pop up in those plotlines a Lot

I just love the idea that when it comes to cybertronian genders, there's more than meets the eye :)

Any title ideas guys? Ch.2 - Hugs? Why no hugs?

Chapter summary: This is set a few days after Samantha came online. I'm not bothering to have her mess up with simple things like walking. This focuses on the issues of having sensitive wings, but still wanting a hug from your best friend. Even though your best friend is willing to hug - bee is only leaning lightly into the hugs and not using his arms like a weirdo. Sam wants to know why.

Jazz in particular accidentally came across the two bots in a small snit...over how the best hugging position. Bee knew how sensitive and delicate wings were. But particularly how sensitive her wings are. He dosen’t even want to contemplate touching Sam’s new wings without an emergency necessitating touch. (It also dosen’t help that everyone at the base had some version of talk about the sensitivity level of her wings and the general understanding that the standard touching requires a huge amount of trust normally only given to the closest of medical professionals - under a strict set of circumstances, family members, lovers, and children. Usually in that order too)

Sam is understanding that her new wings are indeed sensitive - she feels them all the time to the point of being angry when the wind picks up speed. Yet, she knows and trusts Bumblebee to be gentle with her wings. Bee just isn’t trusting himself in this situation.

What Jazz saw was Sam throwing up her servos in the air before turning to Bee saying ‘fine, I’ll demonstrate what I mean then’, and walking the distance between the two of them. Jazz carefully backed away wanting to see what happens. If they were going to discover making out he didn’t want to see that, and nor did he want to be seen and possibly interrupt, but dammit this was the hottest gossip and there were multiple bets to be kept track of. Jazz’s helm popped back around the corner when he heard a vague metallic bump on the other side.

He saw a completely surprised Bumblebee with his servos carefully not touching any part of the femme. Sam had her arms wrapped around Bee’s frame gently coming from under his arms. She pulled away slightly to meet Bee’s optics. “This is how I usually hug. It feels most comfortable as you are still taller than I am.” Bee very slightly nodded though notably his door wings never shifted from their nervous high upwards position.

Sam continued “Alright how are you going to return it? I’ve seen you exchange quick hugs with others, so I know you know how to hug. Or do you want to look like a startled kitten?”

Jazz continued to watch in rapt suspense. He knew the problem, her wings. Bee was also usually the smallest bot around. Unfortunately, it seemed Bee took too long to respond as Sam continued slowly pulling away further “Unless you don’t want to hug me?”

Frantically Bee closed the space between the two of them “NO! No, no. It’s just…your wings. They’re-”

“Yes, yes.” Physically waving a servo away as if it was inconsequential “My wings are sensitive. I’m the one that feels them consistently. Bee,” Insisting on meeting his optics and gentling her tone “Bee, I know you will be careful.”

Finally accepting his fate - ‘oh no the horror of being hugged by a stunning femme in and out who is clearly attracted to you just as much as you are to her’ Jazz’s processor snidely mocked - he carefully wrapped his arms around Sam’s shoulders and incredibly gently touched her wings.

“See, it's all good. Hugs are best when they’re reciprocated.” Sam’s voice was barely audible to Jazz’s audio sensors. Smiling Jazz walked quietly away. Knowing the two young bots, they weren't going to move for a little while. Better to share the good news and steals a picture or two. Sometimes they were too cute for words.

After that, it wasn't an uncommon sight to see Bee touching Sam’s wings more casually. Though there was always a moment when Bee made sure that it was still alright. The first few times Ratchet and Optimus saw it happen, the two of them visibly paused for a moment to recalibrate what they knew. Each has taken one of the bots in question under their guidance in a parental manner. (Optimus with Bumblebee and Ratchet with Sam.)
