Ice Crystal Collar

This jewellery set was inspired by the “Snow Queen” aesthetic, with clear rock crystal spears that resemble icicles in a delicate collar with a distinct “touch me not” message. This necklace is simple but striking and does well with many colours. Wear it over a high necked outfit and the colour beneath plays inside the crystals. The dove grey earrings are not my own design but combine well with this set.

Materials and techniques: stringing on coated bead wire, silver plated findings, glass seed beads, dove grey seed pearls, clear rock crystal shards with top drilling, souvenir earrings from Hawaii (Chinese origin?)

Autumn is on the way, so I've gone a bit crazy this week: making leaves!

Made this little thing out of some trash and junk basically

I am very proud of it

Items used:

Peice of plastic left over from a press on nail set (pink thing beside it is also a peice of that for reference)

Clear gel nail polish

3 flecks of blue glitter

2 different metallic sharpies (silver and bronze)

Dry erase marker

Snippet of string from a clothing tag

These are made with vintage glass pearls stripped of their coating, and sterling silver

. Handcrafted with a Yellow Prickly Cockle shell that I ethically, sustainably, and locally collected by hand (Gulf of Mexico), tarnish resistant gold wire, glass beads, beading filament, beading filament, and a gold plated clasp lobster clasp, jump ring, and crimp beads!

. I need to keep practicing my sun wire-wrapping skills! I'll definitely be making some more wire-wrapped sun and shell necklaces soon!
