#I've been TRYING hard okay #I've been trying to buy better clothes from smaller shops #but when they arrive it turns out they're cheap polyester drop ship crap #I've been trying to get more involved in the queer community and be more of a person #but the online zoom meetings were uncomfortable #the discord transmasc voice class went badly because I didn't understand how to use the bot #I booked a queer film night for me and my partner but it turned out to be creepy and churchy so we dropped out #I've signed up to steward pride we'll see how that goes #I went to a protest but it rained a lot so I only stayed for half #I've been trying to use amazon less but every time I go around my small local stores they don't have any of the stuff I'm looking for #I'm trying to be more myself and be more brave but my binders don't fit and I can't use a sewing machine #and every time I speak to a stranger or a colleague my voice goes up #I'm trying to work out more and eat less but I'm so tired #I'm trying to boycott and buy slave-free and say no to Ai and to genocide and to tiktok and disney and nestle and spotify #Telling myself I have food at home and to stop scrolling reddit and got get more sleep and to call my friends #All this therapy all these good choices all this work and so little to show for it some days #I am going back to fucking bed

#day 26 #year 5 #my ocs #destiny chainsaw #malice winterfang #i know i've said i don't really like the idea of commissions and this isnt like a PROMISE or anything #i still have a lot of research to do before i commit to a shop of any kind #BUT. i think like a redbubble or something in that vein might be a manageable project #i mention stickers specifically because that seems like a very manageable thing to produce and ship even if i didnt go through like #a service to do so #particularly because i dont think id get a TON of orders for my niche OCs lol #but if i got some practice with something small like this it MIIIIGHT help me build up to making things for a larger market like...#say... well you know what i'm about over here lmao #we've basically all but gotten the official blessings of the powers that be to make homestuck merch without fear of reprisal at this point #ANYWAY that would be a ways off and be a much MUCH bigger project both artistically and in terms of like #me learning how Online Commerce works from the seller end.#BUT I HAVE BEEN CONSIDERING IT. and it seems to me that it would at least be relatively simple to sell like. prints of old art maybe #i dunno! like i said i'll see how the poll shakes out while i do a bit more research

#aka top 10 things i wish i could drill into my coworkers brains grrrrrrrrrrrrrrnrhrhbgbgbfbfbfnf #‘you should get a bf’ ‘when are you gonna get married and have kids?’ how about n e v e r #i just want to sleep when i’m not on the clock mans i don’t want to waste my precious sleep time on others #i mean. i don’t even leave the house on my days off. not to go shopping or anything bc sleep is more important~~~#and stuff can be bought online anyways s o o o o o #g o d speaking of online purchases thoughhh this massage seat i bought online came in yesterday and it works amazingly well~~~~~#used it for half an hour last night and i was relaxed enough to sleep for 11-12 hours straight #wish i had space for an actual massage chair though but this will have to do…#it’s been my dream to own a massage chair for the longest time…… but ig this massage seat is good enough……#i can just slap it onto my desk chair and b a m ✨instant paradise✨#speaking of instant though… one of my coworkers was commenting on my love for instant noodles the other day #‘you’ll ✨d i e✨ faster if you eat a lot of cup noodles yk?’ he said #so ✨o f c✨ my mouth chose to work faster than my brain when i replied with ‘i’m fine with that bc i won’t have to work then’#he and another coworker laughed :( sadded #b u t i finally had my cup noodles that i ‘customised’ at the cup noodle museum today and it was good~~~~~~~ i have good taste (self praise)#the best part was the lack of spring onions!!!! bc screw spring onions really who decided that they should be included with most cup noodles #or just noodles in general? the texture sucks and they don’t even taste good man. why would you even add spring onions?#it’s number 2 in my list of most hated food toppings. it loses only to ikan bilis bc s c r e w ikan bilis or dried anchovies or whatever #they’re known as >:( i hateeeeee how takeout places will just assume that you want ikan bilis and lop on a huuuuugeeeee serving of them #atop your food as you desperately and futilely b e g them to stop #and when you try to pick them out they just!!!! keep turning up everywhere instead?????#like hello???? how did you manage to get to the bottom of the bowl???? you were only added as a topping!!!!!!!#also. their eyes are really creepy. and the heads get detached from the bodies all the time and just. seeing the eyes ruins my appetite.#wait this was supposed to be about my coworkers and their pushiness in a matter that doesn’t concern them how did we get so far off-topic—#chizuutan chizpost

you guys know that tiktok audio about homosexual audacity and thinking you can do anything with no prior experience? "no i've never done that but i'm gay so how hard could it be?" that's me right now having almost no knowledge of computers but wanting to build by own pc

#like i know enough to know what i want. but what makes a computer actually run??? no fucking clue #BUT. i bought a gaming laptop like two years ago and it's already crapped out on me. and it's at a repair shop right now but because #it doesn't have standard parts (it's an acer nitro 5 17-inch) it's gonna cost like $750 to replace the motherboard and get it working again #and i bought the thing for $1500. so what the fuck #plus i've been thinking lately that i want to upgrade to an actual pc because i'm not in school anymore and don't currently need a laptop #and when i DID buy my laptop a couple years ago i didn't do enough research about what specs i wanted and i can't actually run #a lot of the games i want to play. so if i do decide to get it fixed i'd also want more storage and GPU. so it would be even more expensive #SO. i'm like. i can either pay like $1000 to fix my laptop which might crap out again in another year or two and need more uncommon parts #replaced. or i can buy a prebuilt pc which would be like $1800 if i'm getting everything i want.#OR i can build my own pc. and still get everything i want BUT in the process i will also learn how to build a computer (and thus how to #fix any problems that arise) and i can make sure to use common parts that can be replaced if they need to be. right?????#idk i kinda think it might be fun. and i've been wanting to learn the basics of computers for a long time because it seems like very useful #skills to have in life. and people say that this is a good way to learn and that it's not THAT hard to do because there's so many resources #and guides online to help you figure out how to do it.#like am i crazy for wanting to do this????#mine

i may or may not have just spent too much money on arctic monkeys albums under the guise of self care (again)

#i work next to a record shop and i have this little tradition where if i’ve had a rough day i’ll go in and treat myself to an album #only rn i’m so unwell that i haven’t been out of my flat properly in weeks #let alone as far as work or the record shop #so hmv’s online shop had to do #because i’m in need of some comfort music purchases #and for some reason my brain went ‘if you’re ordering online it’s cheaper’ so i wound up with three instead of one #so as of tomorrow i will be the proud owner of fwn and who the f*** are arctic monkeys and also the teddy picker single #why am i like this #i suppose i should at least be grateful i can’t afford a record player because cds are mercifully less expensive than lps #my bank account would probably disown me if i ever do get a record player and start getting lps #anyway #i’m rambling to no one #too much time being stuck inside appears to have made me even more prone to rambling in the tags than usual #which is saying something #i’ll see myself out and go and drink tea and listen to my pre-existing am albums #lulu posts

Instead of remembering "I need to do such and such...." in the middle of doing something else you've just remembered that you needed to do, perhaps it might be easier to actually complete the job you're doing on the moment and then move onto the next and complete it too before starting anymore...

#The story of how I've been attempting to find a water resistant shower curtain on amazon for at least 10 hours without committing #And completing online Christmas food shop #And updating my planner with what has happened over the last week before I forget days/dates/info given over important stuff #And make a list of stuff I need to purchase from a non online store before christmas #And work out the “naaaaice” Christmas food I need to grab from m&s #And catch up on the podcast I'm listening to #And take the 4th dose of medication I have to spread out over the day but now have been organised and moved the box that I can't find it #And get other last minute jobs done....#Instead everything is a tiny fraction more done every so often rather than anything getting completed 🤦
