I went to a pride celebration in some fun rainbow makeup today and it was my first time wearing kind of extra makeup around other people. I got a lot of compliments and I really felt great because I've been working on my makeup skills for around three years now with the intention of eventually doing drag, but I wasn't sure if I was any good or if it was just Drag Delusion™

So thanks to everyone who made me feel confident today!

Watching Dungeons and Drag Queens is a great reminder that Brennan spent decades going to and then volunteering at a larp camp for kids

He’s got patience for days, a “yes and” attitude that can’t be beat, he explains everything gently and simply without being condescending, and he specifically teaches in a way that encourages creativity and discovery and celebrates joy

Anyway, it’s not only a great primer for anyone who wants to learn how to play d&d but also for anyone that wants to teach just about anything

i think one of my biggest (and only) gripes with procreate is that they dont have like. a masterlist of features their app has to offer. a full thorough ui navigation. because ive been using procreate for a couple years now and im still discovering preexisting features because they just. dont mention it anywhere

In An Alternate Universe...

I said before I didn’t think Al’e would look good in Zero’s outfit. Well, I had time and motivation to kill so I decided to do a messy mock-up of what she might look like. It’s actually it’s not that bad. I’m sure it’d look even better if someone else drew it, lol. I think I just might have beef with Zero’s outfit in general (don’t hurt me Zero fans). Although I still do think the possible outfit choices for Pulche would all suck. I’m not even testing that one out. 

On a separate note, this was actually kind of fun to draw. I haven’t enjoyed drawing in a while, hmm.

One advice I constantly choose to ignore is the "don't use black for line art" because it's mostly a matter of taste and a lot of advice you will get when you're just starting art might be just someone's opinion and not actually good, you should learn anatomy(i promise it's not as difficult as you might think), color theory, and explore different techniques, also try stuff you think you're not going to like and see if you actually don't like it or you don't know how to use it

may you make art long enough to realize all the advice you learned online as a tween is made up bullshit
