Beginning the meeting, Crowley spoke in a commanding tone while being gentle to not scare the child that was by his side -- they also got clothes that fit the small prefect.

"So.. I've gathered you all here today..." Crowley explained while he put his hand on the child's shoulder in a firm but gentle hold.

"To commence an operation known as 'Give-this-poor-child-all-the-love-they-deserve', for I am so kind, I will initiate this operation to be a successful one!"

Muttering a quick and inaudible "I guess you're still my herbivore even if you are a child right now.." sighing, the tan skinned male than explained to the child. "To be honest, little herbivore, I can't really help in the love department--"

He was cut off by a "Unca Leona!" that belonged to his cheerful nephew, sighing for the at least 100 time, he turned his attention towards the little lion.

A little surprised by the red and yellow haired boy's action, the (h/c) stumbled back a little but still hugged the younger Kingscholar.

Going under a tree, Leona watched the two run in the direction of his room as he knows that Cheka will get his color supplies and fairytale stories book along with paper.

Smiling a little under his bangs, Leona whispered. "Maybe... I really should reconsider visiting home more often.." but quickly shook these thoughts out of his mind, and went back to sleep.

The two arrived into Leona’s room, as Cheka quickly took his supplies and book and they again run off to where Leona rested.

The two quietly read the fairytale book, while staying close to Leona, after a while they got bored, and started playing with the flowers and Cheka showed a cactus to Yuu, while shouting their name which scared the Ramshackle student.

After that, to calm the other child, Cheka suggested to color and draw! This suggestion made the Prefect brighten up and both quickly started to draw.

A little while later, we see Cheka show little Yuu a drawing a them, Leona and Cheka, which made Yuu pause for a second and start laughing.

no like y'all rlly don't understand. burr’s journey with hamilton is insane. from burr’s initial reluctance to even associate himself with hamilton.. to their "friendship" — which wasn't even a friendship at all, the two could barely stand each other. to burr's jealous introduction of him in "a winter's ball" after washington brushed him off to speak to hamilton.. "how does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore, go on and on, grow into more of a phenomenon, watch this obnoxious, arrogant, loudmouth bother be seated at the right hand of the father... but hamilton still wants to fight, not write". burr is clearly upset that washington chose this unpredictable brat over him. his confusion at hamilton's insistence to fight.. the double meaning of "not write / right". their relationship is a thinly veiled rivalry at best, and a long history of hatred at worst.

hatred on burr's side, at least. i don't think hamilton even knows the hate that he caused to fester in burr's heart, i think he sees it all as another game, another mountain to climb, another challenge to conquer. he sees it as fun; burr sees it as anything but. while hamilton sees them as friends, burr sees hamilton as the man who has everything he wants, but takes it for granted. burr hates hamilton from the beginning, though he tries to hide it.

it's there from the beginning, from his introduction of alexander. we as the viewer don't know their history, so we take it as a regular introduction, just the way it was written. but then the introduction changes; he's a bother, he's arrogant, he's a bastard, he's a whoreson. the introduction's tone becomes angrier, whether burr realizes it or not.

in scenes where burr and hamilton jest with each other, there's an obvious energy imbalance. like i said, hamilton sees burr as a friend, and burr sees alexander as anything but. perhaps the festering envy and hatred influences burr's interactions with hamilton, makes him see hamilton as a threat while hamilton sees him as a friend.

that's another problem, i think. i think burr knew hamilton didn't take him seriously. burr is fully aware that he is just another joke to alexander, that the best he can do for him is help him with the constitution. he knows hamilton does not see him as an equal. hamilton sees him as a scared man, a man who’s too weak to take what he wants.

and when hamilton votes for "thomas jefferson, his enemy, a man he's despised since the beginning" for those reasons, burr cannot handle it. how dare hamilton make him into a joke again? how dare hamilton think he knows him? how dare hamilton, of all people, tell him that he has no beliefs?

how dare hamilton belittle him once again.

everything that was building up throughout the play— remember, burr’s focus in “washington on your side” was standing up to hamilton’s mouth, because of his personal reasons, not like jefferson and adams — comes to a head. the festering hatred eats him up and leaves a shell of a man, or rather, he becomes hatred. burr becomes rage.

he is a man who’s watched someone he deems as irresponsible and unworthy take everything he feels he deserves from him. he is a man who’s tried to befriend and mentor this brat, only to become his lesser. he is a man who has finally snapped. when hamilton utters the words “jefferson has my vote,” burr is defeated. once again, hamilton has snatched something away from from him, for a reason hamilton believes is right, for a reason burr sees as hamilton taking him for a fool.

alexander does not take burr serious. burr is tired. he’s tired of being treating as lesser by a man he sees as lesser. he finally cracks.

glad you like it! I'm still working veeeeery slowly on the other love languages posts, but I lost steam halfway thru, so I'm procrastinating those by answering this one lolol

i'll leave the details as to how he becomes a father up to y'all, since i dont rlly care abt those specifics - adoption, biological kids, etc, up to yall!

DJSS never really considered starting a family nor having children.

As someone who priotizes his work first and foremost, having a family - let alone children who require attention 24/7 - just isn't a possibility in his book, DJSS considers it a setback rather than an ideal lifestyle. So fatherhood is something that's thrown at him and catches him by surprise, if that makes sense. I can only see him accepting such responsibility if it's the only option available, if there's absolutely no one and nowhere else the child can go to.

Once again, he's an outlier when compared to the other Megastars. They have themes of unity, bonding with others and different types of families, not just the nuclear family example: the Sayu Gang have each other, Yinu's parents are a huge an important part of her life, 1010 act as a unit and, whether you see Neon J as their parental figure or not, he's still responsible for them in a way. Eve connects with like-minded artists and her fans, Tatiana connects with the megastars, Vinyl City as a whole and Eve herself. Even DK West is here by virtue of being Zuke's brother. DJSS is just there, all alone.

I like to think that the time he spent working as a teacher had a big impact on him, growing disillusioned overtime with not only his passions but the concept of community - the current DJSS doesn't really see a point in nurturing any sort of relationship that isn't transactional nor profitable.

Some characters worry about being good parents and influences, some worry about their economic situations not being enough to support a child, and so on and so forth. DJSS simply doesn't care about any of that, he's got a stable life and is confident in his skills (at the very least, confident in his ability to learn how to care for a child pretty quickly). He just... never considered the idea of being a father.

Whether the kid is a boy or a girl or anything else, he doesn't care. He has no preference. The only opinion he has relates to the amount of kids he'll allow - which is one. The less kids running around, the better.

Treats parenthood like a job, basically. DJSS appears to be a neglectful parent on the outside, but is very attentive to his kid's needs.

There is always a sense of distance and a layer of feigned indifference when it comes to his very scarce relationships, this is no different.

During the first years, DJSS makes a point to treat his role as a father like a job - it's how he tackles things, seeing them as tasks to solve. His approach can be easily read as him being uninterested, maybe even neglectful - at least to outsiders. DJSS has cultivated quite the reputation, being a polarizing figure to the public and all, so the fact that he has a child certainly doesn't sit well with those who exclusively see him for being arrogant and irresponsible.

He's very private about this aspect of his life, ignoring any questions about his child or his struggles as a parent. It's easy to assume he just doesn't care at all.

Those who DO know DJSS are fully aware of his dedication, his work ethics might be unorthodox and only make sense to him but damn if he doesn't get the job done. The reason he can act so casual is because of the work he puts in behind the scenes, multitasking a hundred different things to ensure the kid is fully cared for. After all, the happier this kid is, the less troublesome they'll be.

I imagine that during the first years, he provides for the child without getting himself directly involved. If they show interest in something in particular, like dinosaurs for example, DJSS won't take them to any exhibits but he will buy them encyclopedias and leave documentaries on for them to watch. If they need interaction and friends, he'll set up weekly playdates with Yinu (if she's not too old) - maybe even let the other Megastars babysit his kid. They've all probably pestered him about bringing his kid to work just so they can meet them, finding babysitters isn't a problem.

Once again, distance. DJSS doesn't want his career to end so suddenly just because he has to take care of a human life. Until he finds his footing and comes to term with being a father, DJSS resorts to finding people who are properly equipped to care for the kid when needed, all while he ensures that all of their needs are met without directly stepping in.

He becomes very perceptive to his kid and any changes in their behaviour, being able to tell if they've had a bad day or if they're hiding something from him just from a few glances. DJSS makes sure to be informed about his kid's friends, their passions and hobbies, likes and dislikes... All so he can nudge them in the right direction or give them advice in his own subtle way.

I want to insist that this isn't a case of an unloving father who purposefully ignores his child. It's more so an issue of properly connecting and bonding with each other. DJSS knows them like the back of his hand, but only the things he's been able to gleam and observe - and his child? They wouldn't be able to tell you HIS favorite color. And yet they both care about each other in their own way. It's a very one-sided, complex family dynamic.

Contrary to popular belief, DJSS would not want to be his kid's teacher. But their education is still very important to him.

Does he have a lot of things to say about the current education system? Yes. Does he think he could do a better job than every single teacher in Vinyl City? Absolutely, his ego is big enough for that.

But when it comes to his kid's education, DJSS understands that he's been a little out of touch with the basics. He didn't get a degree to be an elementary or highschool teacher, after all.

While he can't pick them up from school or attend every single parent-teacher meeting, DJSS makes a point of meeting all of his kid's teachers to ensure they're taking their jobs seriously and also keeps up with the curriculum - just in case his kid has any trouble with homework. Part of him does want them to have great grades, as otherwise would reflect poorly on him, but at the end of the day, DJSS would want them to do their best, to learn out of a genuine sense of curiosity.

I can see DJSS and his kid having study sessions, in which he casually complains about all the new things that he "should know about" like the old man he is, but feeling a surge of pride whenever his kid corrects him - something about seeing himself in them and whatnot. If they end up becoming interested in his own field of work, he'll be SO smug and happy about it.

Let's be honest, his kid is bound to have at least some interest in something space-adjacent given... Well, their father being a literal black hole and astrophysicist. It would be suuuuper funny to me if his kid became interested in astrology instead during their rebellious teens, just to spite him. Either way, if they choose something else entirely, he'll support them (after some nagging like "are you SURE that's what you want?" etc).

Maybe this is the way he could properly bond with his kid, while also rekindling his love for teaching and letting go of some bitter old habits and views.

DJSS is the type of parent who really starts to connect with his kid once they grow up, when the passage of time hits him all at once and he worries about them not being close.

Somehow, it's easier to DJSS to deal with a rebellious teenager or a struggling young adult than dealing with a child or toddler.

Probably one of the very few characters who can stand having a sassy kid who talks back or drops the most devastating comebacks ever - he can't complain there, they picked up that attitude directly from HIM, he can tell. They've absolutely heard him talk down to NSR staff and anyone who pisses him off.

I get the feeling he and his kid would banter a lot, growing closer while struggling to find ways of being vulnerable around each other - because another thing that his kid gets from him is that lingering distance. They're probably used to independence, to doing things on their own and not ask for help unless strictly necessary because that's exactly DJSS' own modus operandi.

So it's all awkward, baby steps towards progress. But the second DJSS and his kid become besties, it's absolutely OVER for everyone else. Everyone in NSR knows better than to try and out-sass them when they're together.

Expect a lot of debates, just a lot of them about anything and everything. Either for shits and giggles, to discuss theories or really in-depth stuff. People often assume they're arguments because of how seriously he and his kid seem to take it, but it's all in good fun.

Personally, as combative and defensive DJSS can be when it comes to subjects he's passionate about (or because of his pettiness), I don't see him being the type to ever argue with his kid. At this point, he's fully come to terms with his role as their dad. If there's anyone worth listening to on this side of the universe is his kid. Had it been anyone else, he would've just walked out the door and ignored them, but that's his kid. Their opinion is important to him.

And here's a random assortment of headcanons I don't have enough to expand on!

DJSS is absolutely the type of parent who gloats and brags about anything his kid achieves to every single other parents in the vicinity. He might have a hard time being verbally and physically affectionate with his kid, but damn if he doesn't love talking everyone's ears off about their achievements.

He doesn't take many photos nor have any dedicated albums to them as a family, but he 100% saves all of their tests and essays and homework and drawings.

Has a lot of small tapes recorded throughout the years for his kid. These range from sneaky recordings of them as a kid babbling about silly things, him reading bedtime stories to them when they were young, heartfelt apologies or speeches that he never got the courage to say outloud, retellings of specific events like their first failed exam, their first broken bone, their first trip somewhere... Or very domestic things like grocery shopping lists, etc etc. He's dramatic and extra like that.

Least likely to threaten his kid's romantic partner to treat them right or else. DJSS trusts their judgement. However, expect to be blacklisted from any NSR-owned facility and store within Cast Tech should you break his kid's heart.

I like to think that his kid calls Eve "Auntie" and that she's the only one within NSR to get that special treatment, since I HC DJSS and Eve as besties <3. She's also the one to save them from DJSS' fashion sense cause he thinks it's perfectly fine to wear shorts in the middle of winter.

DJSS is entirely indifferent about their preference for EDM or Rock, that's their business. But he would love to be involved when/if his kid starts to dabble in music.

DJSS does have space-themed nicknames for his kid, but he's worried about being cringe so he only uses them whenever his kid isn't within earshot. He couldn't care less about random people hearing him use these nicknames and whatnot, but as much as he denies it, he wants his kid to think he's cool.

emery loves their aunties and uncle and rapunzel and her partners all spoil them to DEATH its so fucking cute

they’re very into botanical and herbal sciences, so she does a lot more hands-on and in the moment studies than varian and hugo, who usually stay cooped up in their lab most of the day. rapunzel especially loves going out with her on hikes or nature walks whenever her dads are busy, and they do field journals and stuff…. sometimes others will join them on their little trips but for the most part it’s just something the two of them do together. they garden a lot too, obviously, and raps listens to her infodump for hours on end

em also absolutely ADORES her aunt cassie, as she has dubbed her (it definitely got varian a few death glares at first, but he swears up and down he didn’t teach her anything). she loves hearing all the stories about her adventures and is especially fascinated by her cartography. cass also loves to collect weird things, like feathers, funny looking rocks or crystals, animal/fish bones, reptile skins or wings of insects, various things from deceased creatures she’s come across on her travels. emery finds this stuff incredibly cool, since they love animals

whenever cassandra travels out of corona for a bit she brings home lots of flowers and herbs and things for them to study, along with plenty of pretty trinkets and baubles for both them and the twins <3

that’s jusr like one of her love languages she’s like a crow. just gives people shiny rocks and sticks she found, and sometimes jewels/little hairclips/rings/generally very fancy things she definitely stole. sometimes nobody knows what to do with them but they keep them because they love her

eugene is absolutely the fun uncle but like, only when yong’s not around bc he easily solos eugene any day. no hard feelings it just is what it is

but yeah eugene always does the best storytime voices, especially with the flynn rider books bc hes been doin this for YEARS hes got DECADES of experience bro. sometimes the kids encourage him to act out the scenes in which he tries his best but fails miserably while lamenting about his old man bones

rapunzel and cassandra both laugh at him and sometimes will try to pick up where he left off

and, speaking of flynn, with another kid in the castle eugene finally gets another chance to play his favorite game: how long can i have this child convinced that i am the REAL flynn rider in the flesh

the answer is quite a while and it will eventually lead a very pissed off alchemist to storm into your room ready to beat the shit out of you

eugene definitely helps them get away with shit especially considering he’s trying to get revenge on the years varian and hugo spent being menaces to the twins. it is actually CRUCIAL that hugo and varian stay childless for a good 5-7 years after the twins are born because they get that long to be Goofy Ass Uncles and nothing more

no bc theyd literally be the worst most irresponsible mfs imaginable bc they’re both fucking around the whole time trying to impress the kids but they start getting rlly overly competitive about who they like more and fighting about it while the twins are just along for the ride

so. they DO still end up being the favorite uncles just. not for the reasons they think

they’d be like, showing the kids all sorts of projects they have around the lab but theyre just so much more hyperfocused on one upping each other- varian would do tons of interactive experiments so they can get involved and be hands on with everything. it’s just simple stuff obviously, baby science

but hugo on the other hand is more keen to giving them eye candy. fancy machines with cool lights and noises and the like. he does this with kids in town already, they always know him by name and like to play with olivia so he knows how to get the attention of children, but varian thinks it’s cheating so they get into a really stupid argument about it

varian: HAHAHA hugh you’re KIDDING right. that’s nothing they dont even know what’s going on its just a big machine that makes fancy lights and noises

hugo: ??? ok but that’s all you really need isn’t it?? it’s not like kids are all that hard to impress. plus you cant get on my case when yours is just some vial that changes color. you can at LEAST give them something cooler than that

varian goes into a rant before hugo cuts him off being all “ok fine well if you’re so confident lets ask what THEY think” and varians like “FINE” and so hugo turns around in a huff and realizes both the toddlers are Gone.

and he’s just “,,,,,hey um. hey var. love….where did the twins go” and varian whips his head around like “YOU FUCKING LOST THEM????”

so obviously they both freak the fuck out and are scouring the entire lab making sure they arent off drinking some dangerous chemicals or some shit but like, both of them are smart as fuck so it turns out they just walked off in the middle of their argument and went to go steal sweets from the kitchen. cass, raps, and eugene all chew them out for it later. they get more responsible when emery comes along but like….yk not that much AUDJSJDHDSNS

on the topic of stupid uncles, i should mention that though they love all of them dearly…lance is kind of the favorite like 90% of the time

cuz see eugene along with hugo still continue to be a bit overprotective and paranoid with the kids at times. varian is usually very laid back but when emery hits her teen years he starts to worry a lot more, while hugo mellows out considering that’s where vars own life went downhill LMAO. if there’s anyone who will indulge them and let them get away with ANYTHING it’s lance.

there’s such a blatant and vast difference between your first time parents who are always overthinking everything and worrying about whether they’re good parents or not and your cool, unmarried uncle who already adopted and raised two teenage kids in his 20s, is in the prime of his life and doesn’t technically have to take responsibility for you at all

granted though, the twins have had everyone wrapped around their little fingers since their birth

immediately after the twins were born, everyone in the castle (and even those who weren’t) all collectively pitched in to help as much as they possibly could. especially considering rapunzel struggled a lot mentally in the first few months of her kids’ life, the whole family was very determined to make the time as stress-free as their abilities would allow

one thing they found out quickly was that the twins absolutely adored varian. which obviously confused the alchemist and left him feeling quite helpless considering 1. kids hardly ever liked him (he usually got bullied by them) and 2. because of this he. didn’t really know what to do with kids. ryder once fell asleep in his arms and he lowkey panicked bc he had NO idea what he was supposed to do

when the anxious new parents were finally able to let people be alone with the babies, varian ended up being a pretty regular sitter. to the point where he would have little baby slings in case he needed to hold them while he was working on small projects or something. people would even frequently assume they were his and he eventually got tired of explaining they were actually his niblings so he just let people think whatever

before theyre born hugo jokes around like “lmaooo i dont even like kids” but he’s lying thru his fucking TEETH. hed die for them.

also alina thinks hugo is SO fucking cool (obviously considering he cut her hair based off of his) but also em admires hugo more than either of the twins could ever possibly comprehend. i havent drawn it enough since most of what i’ve drawn of them is them bullying each other but thats just their love language of course emery picked up on it. past the age of like 10 emery would rather die than admit how much she looks up to her father but hugo Knows <3

its not to say em doesnt admire varian, because she loves both her dads equally!!! but because hugo also came from an orphaned past being with him made emery feel a lot more safe and understood during her first few years at the castle. hugo knew what it was like to suddenly go from having nothing to having Everything and he knew it could be really stressful, especially for a little kid….having someone who understood that was really comforting to emery.

because of this though hugo tended to be the paranoid mother hen type, especially compared to varian who was a LOT more laid back and wanted to give them the freedom to trust their own judgement and make mistakes. it was tough to balance these styles at first but emery genuinely loved them both, even if hugo’s fussiness was a bit annoying sometimes

in fact the reason emery dubbed hugo “mama” in the first few months was not because they could sense his massive amounts of Gender (well like, partially, but it was about a month or so after that before the ‘are you a boy or a girl?’ question finally came up), but instead because hugo’s constant doting on her reminded them of their birth mother

varian and hugo dont know much about emery’s birth family or what happened to them, considering she doesn’t say much in her younger years and eventually forgets most of what she didn’t; but she seems to have cared a lot about her birth mother, and frequently still misses her presence.

whenever those waves of emotion are too much for her to bear, hugo is there to comfort her- and he assures her that despite never even meeting them, he still misses his birth family, too, but that it will get easier, and no matter what, she’ll always have people who love and support her

That's how I always felt about su too bc I never watched it at the time when it was big on here and people were tearing out throats about it so I was like "how does any one read this much into a kids show" but I did end up watching a lot of it later and like you can't really blame people for saying "hey that's kind of a fucked up message to send" when they're just responding to the actual wording and clunky allegories they decided to put in the show for like no real reason ... Like if they're actually using the word "colonization" the least they could do was NOT then turn that into a different terribly written allegory about forgiving family members like huh...

Walker Siblings Rewrite

I totally did not write this bcz I have a soft spot for siblings. Also, Melanie is frickin gorgeous, she deserved better. DC hire me.

ANYWAYS! Upon reentering the BB fandom, I’ve decided to try my hand at writing for it, which brings me to this. Ft. my Bludhaven Beyond AU! Enjoy!

Melanie Walker/Spoiler

Loved her the moment I saw her, hated how the show treated her. Especially the comics, god don’t get me started on it. Why why why did they reduce her to a Faux Action Girl & Stalker who literally went into action just to impress Terry? Hell no, we ain’t doing my girl dirty like that so here’s how it’s gonna go.

Melanie’s primary goal doesn’t just revolve around Terry; it’s about breaking away from her parent’s emotional abuse/manipulation. It’s about breaking away from a self-destructive lifestyle of crime she’s stuck in out of misguided loyalty to them.

Thus, she and her brother move to Bludhaven for a fresh start. It’s a lot easier since no one would rlly gives a damn there. Plus, it ensures their parents will never find them.

She’s content to continue as a restaurant helper & even teaches kids basic coding part-time. Her brother had a harder time adjusting which caused some tension, especially after he got fired. Fortunately, he soon found employment at Dick’s gymnastics studio, easing her worries.

Unfortunately, the peace wasn’t gonna last for long.

At first, she thought her brother was desperate for adventure when he came to her with his crazy theory about Mr. Grayson being an ex-assassin. She decided to humor him like siblings wont to do (she’s the sane sibling to Jack’s irresponsible, you can’t change my mind).

They discovered he was half-right.

Redemption time baby! Time to stick it to the asshole parents by becoming what they hated most!

Her brother blackmails convinces Dick to teach him so he could take on the Nightwing mantle. Dick didn’t think it was a healthier alternative to dealing with whatever parental issues the siblings had but between vigilantism and crime, the former was the lesser of two evils.

Melanie wasn’t interested and for a while, she was Jack’s ‘guy in the chair’. However, as her brother got into worse scuffles due to rising gang activity, she realized she had to step in. Not just to protect what family she had left but to prove that she’s better than her parents.

Thus, she modifies her old Ace costume and debuts as Spoiler. Lame moniker compared to Nightwing but hey, she’ll take it over Ten any day.

Jacqueline ‘Jack’ Walker/Nightwing

(The fandom page literally just calls him Jack so I made up his civilian name, don’t judge.) 

I surprisingly came to like Jack despite what little screentime he had. Which is why I’m disgruntled with how the tie-in comics treated him. Him going back to being a criminal & getting beaten up by Batman just felt like the writers were pointlessly kicking the dog (Melanie) more. After all the crap she’s been through, she could’ve at least gotten one decent family member. So, let’s give this guy more depth.

I hc that Jack found it harder to straighten out bcz he’s an adrenaline junkie & kleptomaniac; something his family’s criminal lifestyle unhealthily enabled.

He tried to accept his restaurant job but his urges made him pilfer silverware/ small valuables from his coworkers. That combined with his haughty attitude got him into trouble until his boss finally fired him.

Pissed, he went for a walk to clear his head until he stumbled upon a gymnastics studio. He had some gymnastic/acrobatic skill thanks to his time as a criminal. So, he walked in and after chatting with Mr. Grayson, landed himself a job there.

Surprisingly, he enjoyed it. The physicality gave him the adrenaline rush, Dick (having caught on to his kleptomania) helped keep his urges in check & the kids loved his knife tricks (he has a heart, okay?).

One day, a local gang tried to rough them up for ‘protection money’. He helped Dick scare them away but after seeing his mentor kick ass, Jack began to suspect he had a secret. An ex-criminal would naturally recognize another ex-criminal! Or assassin, either one was cool, really.

He managed to needle his sister into snooping around until they finally found the old Nightwing costume. Jack’s heard of Nightwing from online forums and he’s a closeted fan.

Seizing this golden opportunity, he begged Dick to teach him more. He won’t admit it but he’s not just interested in vigilantism for the thrill but bcz he’s realized he can care for others and that he does care.

Also, this would be the ultimate middle finger to dear old daddy.

Thus, Bludhaven had a Nightwing once more. And after one too many close calls, he had his sister joining his side, this time as Spoiler.

So maybe he can’t have riches. But hey, the wellbeing of his sister, mentor and the kids were good enough compensation for him.

Oh, and Dick totally doesn’t adopt these ex-criminal siblings with parental issues. He totally doesn’t become a cool supportive healthy father figure to Melanie & Jack who no longer have to be accomplices in crime to earn affection. Look at him, Bruce, he doesn’t enable your chronic adopting.

hii im the last anon and omg, you understand me in such a deep way, i also have been hyperfixated in many ppl over the years, but idk george was so special to me, so kind and funny and curious about the world, i love the way he thinks, and i even liked his flaws like being a bit emotionally constipated bcs it made him so human. i believe from the bottom of my heart that he didnt mean to harm anybody bcs i just cant see him like that, i think he rlly just forgets to take into consideration other ppls emotions (ofc, not excusing shit)

i think that whats so impactful, is that every single one of my other hyperfixations have faded naturally with time, and this one feels like it was ripped out from me from one day to the next, and as a neurodivergent person, it has been soooo hard, like im rlly struggling but i feel very seen by u!! sending u love, heartanon

i think ur wording is a little off in some places but as a george main i get what you were trying to say and that you really weren't trying to excuse his actions (<- prefacing in case anyone gets angry at you). i do feel like i'm gonna miss him forever like im not even joking i've been behaving like a crazy person going through a fucking breakup beahjdifjwjfuqjqv ITS UNSERIOUS but this is what happens to me when i have to change my mind on a person very suddenly. i hope u and everyone else feels better soon we really shouldnt have to go through this but that's what you get when your favourite guy is dumb and irresponsible
