Hanukkah this year brought an unexpected mix of emotions.

In light of our tradition of not being able to wait with gift giving 😆, we exchanged our Hanukkah gifts this morning, and I got a card from my husband that really struck a chord.

He isn’t from an Israeli or Jewish background, but his words ... they just got it right (as always). It’s amazing how understanding and love can cross all kinds of boundaries.

I also got the Hanukkah gifts I was dreaming of! 🎉 as odd as it may seem considering they are pans 😀 But I have been in love with these pans for a while now. So they are exactly what I wanted.

I am wishing you all a loving, happy holiday season - even if and with all the heartbreaking events that are happening in the world right now.
