On this episode of "Icy Diaries" we will explore the dynamic of personal timelines, divine timing and why you shouldn't listen to the "gurus".

Back when I was in highschool I used to share a desk with a girl named Marie. Most people wanted to leave our small hometown and move two hours away, to the big city. Everyone was obsessed with leaving and never coming back until their success could make people jealous on a cliché highschool reunion.

Marie though was different. She decided to stay in our hometown and focus on herself. She was always very overweight and never had a boyfriend. Once we were talking about first kisses and she confessed to me that she had not even held hands with a boy, let alone kissed one.

She also didn't know what career she wanted to follow, even though she was a straight-As student, highly emotionally intelligent and very tech savvy and intelligent.

Marie was a late bloomer.

A few years passed, C*VID hit and I decided to visit my hometown.

She worked part time jobs and started attending an online European university program that she could afford without going into debt. I would have never imagined these two together, but seeing them now side by side something clicked in me :

It all happens for a reason, at the right time.

The story above, portrays to me the importance of following your heart.

I know that many people tell you to suck it up and go cold. Sometimes we need that. Other times though, we need to trust the journey.

Marie never seemed like the type of person who could build businesses. She kept private. Marie played the game right though.

She didn't go after the BIG city sharks. She opted for her small town boy who kept her satisfied. Because that's what she wanted.

She didn't force it and she made the best she could with the tools she had.

Now she can enjoy her life, just at 25, while other classmates of ours are slaving away in corporate offices to pay off college debt.

That was the right decision for her.

Each one of us is on their personal journey. Your timeline is yours. It's not your mama's, neighbour's or friend's. If you can utilise a cheat code don't make it harder just to feel like a victim.

You won't get a prize for suffering.

After my meeting with Marie I started seeing life differently. I decided that I would never let anyone shame me for my choices. Your inner voice holds the answers, you just need to listen.

This can be a secular practice OR someone may pair other aspects of theology into it! There is also 'Technopaganism' which is the merge of neopaganism and digital magic. Some people may worship tech and its energy or some people simply use it as a tool for ritual magic!

They are a wonderful app for those who prefer herbal medicine.

Astro Observations Part 6

💛The zodiac sign in your 9th house I feel indicates the type of teacher you like to learn from

I have Aries in the 9th and I’ve noticed people I learn from are younger than me Hahah. It’s just their perception is so refreshing and different. I believe there are old souls in young bodies. Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you know everything. I love learning from older people too but I’ve noticed I talk to the young crowd most.

💛The zodiac sign in your 8th I feel is the person you resonate with in regards to the occult (astrologer or tarot reader) my fav tarot readers on YT for example are Pisces. I believe I read that from another observation (I can’t remember who so I’m so sorry I can’t credit 😭 but not my original observation) but it’s true for me!

💛The zodiac sign your Venus or Mars is transiting in I feel indicates the type of man/woman you meet at that time and where. Now typically although Mars rules men and Venus women then but I feel since Venus represents love & relationships then I think that Might be more accurate!

Example: when I met a guy I dated who impacted me greatly Mars was in Sagittarius but Venus was in Capricorn in my 6th. What does Capricorn represent? Older male, authority figure, work and the man I was dating…he’s older, has his own company, and he’s an Aquarius which is traditionally ruled by Saturn who also rules Capricorn. But if we go by the energy/dynamic of mars with it being in Sagittarius and transiting my 5th house then I don’t think it would’ve lasted if it got serious. Also other guys who were going after me were younger and careless and wanted something short term. ✨Second example: I met another guy who impacted me greatly and Venus was in Aquarius in the 7th and Mars was in Taurus in the 10th. Aquarius represents the internet, unconventional, individuality and he’s an Aquarius rising and we met online. I don’t think I was talking to anyone else.

These are my personal interpretations and based on experience & observations!

Select one person with the other person below (just click on it). Scroll down to the end of the chart and you will see

and so forth for all planets in the other person's houses. Here you will also find aspects (not all of them though), so it's best to learn how to read aspects in Synastry as well.

how do you pray? what if your prayers are not answered or you feel like they aren't being listened to? i have tried praying and I'm still unsure how i feel about religion and I don't resonate with a specific one but idk i just don't feel heard or like I'm doing it properly you know? what is your advice? and how do you learn about religion without going to church. obviously there's Google and stuff but it's not rlly helpful lol. are there any books that you recommend?

i think i struggled with this- feeling like my prayers weren’t being listened to- as well and i think it was mostly due to the fact my heart just wasn’t in it. i wasn’t committed to my prayer or to my intention or to my faith. i found myself in a weird middle phase similarly to you where i needed something more in my life but couldn’t find what. for a long time i studied astrology to help but then found so much comfort in the Lord & particularly Mary.

so i would suggest explore your options. find something you really resonate with, and when you talk with whatever/whoever that is, commit your heart and show your devotion. for me, no matter what happens after my prayer, i feel comforted knowing i have spoken to God, and that He or Mary will be watching and hearing.

maybe you could try saying a prayer like The Memorare, which i have posted on my page, to solidify your prayer and seek action from Mary.

and for how i personally pray, it is very situational. sometimes i simply clasp my hands together. sometimes i do nothing external at all and just repeat a prayer in my head; i do this often in public. if i want Them to know i’m really committed to my prayer i will hold my rosary in between my palms as i pray, as people say that Mary holds one end of the rosary and you hold the other. but prayer is very personal and intimate. i suggest doing what works for you!

and on learning about religion i am little help, as i am still very early on in my journey, and trying to learn myself. i’ve been recommended “The Secret of the Rosary” and “The True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin” as books to read. of course reading Bible verses. i like the app “Women’s Bible”, as i don’t yet feel ready to purchase a physical bible. you can add notes and annotate on this app, and the interface is pink! i was also recommended the “Baltimore Catechism”, which is a Q&A style book that teaches all about God/Catholicism.

but my best advice is follow profiles online! there’s lots of lovely girls on twitter who have helped me and there’s lots of blogs out there.

In 1998 Mark rode his Harley Davidson Low Rider, through the U.S. and Europe, stopping for a year in the Tuscan countryside of Northern Italy. Mark's first book, 2012: Crossing the Bridge to the Future, is a bestseller that describes the author's seven-year apprenticeship to visionary astrologer Ellias Lonsdale. Under the redwoods in northern California they created a mystery school which birthed a new form of astrology called Star Genesis, that helps people contact their core nature and life purpose. i love astrology it’s so fun and literally so accurate idek how it’s so fucking cool tho!!! but in law of assumption we have to remember that nothing and no one defines our path or destiny, it’s all up to us. if you get a bad reading, fucking IGNORE IT or REVERSE IT. turn it on it’s head, make it the opposite. use it as an indicator that you should spread a lil love and care in whatever area it’s giving you bad news about. for instance if it says you’re gonna have difficulty w finances just use that as an indicator that maybe that’s what you’re anxious about and you should be manifesting and reminding yourself that you’re powerful. that’s how i see it.

so here’s a fun lil tip for my LoAssumption people who still like astrology:

use your signs positive aspects! as a leo people always told me i was vain, lazy and stuck up JUST based on the fact i’m a Leo. however each sign has its positive qualities and it’s negative stereotypes. this is apparently based on whether the individual is evolved or not and i’m ngl i’m not super well versed in astrology, i’m kinda new to it but i know this is true: each sign has qualities that are more negative and qualities that are more positive, and my tip is to use that to your advantage. here’s my suggestion. find out your big 3, you can do your whole chart if you’re more advanced but i’d suggest starting with the big 3 if all this is overwhelming. with your big 3 study the characteristics and try to find what resonates with you, what you want to embody and embrace in yourself and what qualities you want to expand on. whatever strikes you in a good way. my black moon lilith is in Aries, and that’s usually interpreted as someone having trouble with authority and it being a problem but i embraced it, flipped it and said no, it’s because i am a leader and i am someone who doesn’t just blindly follow without questioning things. sometimes authority is wrong and someone has to be the person to challenge that. like if we just blindly follow authority, bad bad things happen. being a leo sun i embrace that i’m social, good at communication and organization, as a cancer moon i’m in touch with my feelings. as a capricorn rising i’m good with money. use everything positive to build yourself up, see yourself more clearly and shape your image of yourself. you already have all these positive qualities it’s just a matter of claiming and embracing them. you can even make affirmations based on the qualities you want to show. remind yourself how smart you are or good at communicating or how adventurous or whatever! it’s all up to you what you choose to believe about yourself! make it something you can be proud of
