my favorite bells hells vs mighty nein dichotomy is first impressions and trust.
the nein formed their group as skeptics. most of them didn’t trust each other, outside of their smaller original groups. this lack of trust led to them assuming the worst about each other, until they learned their worst; by the end, they’d forged an iron tight bond.
on the other hand, bells hells instantly clicked. they trusted each other right off the bat, with character bonding therapy sessions within the first 5 episodes. but now that tensions are rising and they’re finding things they disagree about, it’s almost as if they feel deceived by each other’s first impressions.
« We don’t feel betrayed because you took a decision on your own, we do because we’re All on the edge of blowing a fuse and giving in. But we don’t, for the sake of everyone. So why could You? »
Orym was still very gentle to Ashton, all things considered
I used to think Ashton would be difficult to draw but I actually really enjoy their face!
"i'm going to start this campaign playing a familiar character who is an absolute buffoon and kind of annoying but in an endearing way. then i'm going to get killed immediately to make way for my real character based entirely on the concept of 'what if one of the elves in santa's workshop was a gnome and also a werewolf and also wanted to kill santa?' AND i'm going to make people emotionally invested in this arc" travis willingham you will always be famous
I’m sorry but I just don’t understand people who say they don’t see Laudna and Imogen together?Go back and watch BH from the beginning and it’s just pretty clear to me even from ep 1? Sure I grant you that maybe Laura didn’t know it yet but that horse girl was in love with that dead lady from the moment we met them. Like, what were y’all watching because I don’t think it was the same campaign?
