X (Twitter) just let me login without entering my authentication code, when I have the setting turned on to require an auth code to login, by just clicking on "alternative authentication methods", and then just clicking the X in the top left corner of the alternative authentication methods screen. I notified X of this exploit, have notified them of multiple other exploits, malicious algorithms, biased algorithms, and am probably one of the top contributors for AI training on heuristics, human consciousness, the large variety of human psychology and their respective heuristics, on top of providing the framework for AI guardrails, all without receiving any form of payment for any of it. In fact, I was actually temporarily targeted (possibly subconsciously) by wannabe mafia illiterate idiots, including some in local government and intelligence agencies/intelligence contractors, when I was uploading the guardrail framework, because the guardrails prevent them from achieving their subconscious dreams of rape, murder, and mayhem with the help of AI. And I still have to pay platforms like X at least $8 a month to be able to post more than 280 characters, ChatGPT at least $20 a month to use any useful features, and Facebook at least $14 a month for a verified badge, when Meta's AI is developed by copying and stealing the same training data I came up with. This essentially means that my brain is the "black box" that so many Ai researchers claim to be unable to see inside of, when much of the contents of this "box" is posted all over my timeline in the form of computational linguistics.

So, I have a big advice post to write, but until I have the spoons, I want to warn everyone now who has legally changed their first name:
Your credit score may be fucked up and you need to:
check *now* that all your financial institutions (credit cards, loans, etc) have your current legal name and update where necessary
check that all 3 credit bureaus, on their respective sites, not via a feed like Credit Karma (so, Trans Union, Equifax, Experian) are collecting that info correctly and generating the right score - you might need to monitor them for a few months if you made any changes in #1
I am about to apply for a mortgage and learned that as of 2 weeks ago:
Experian suddenly thinks I am 2 different people - Legal Name and Dead Name (none of whom have a score)
Equifax has reported my active 25 year old mortgage as closed and deleted one of my older credit cards, hurting my score by 30+ points
Credit scores influence everything from big home/car loans to insurance rates to job and housing applications.
And for whatever reason, the 3 bureaus that have the power to destroy your life are shockingly fragile when it comes to legally changing one's first name.
So, yeah. Once I get this mess cleaned up for myself, I have a big guide in the works if you find yourself in the same predicament. But with the mass trans migration out of oppressive states, odds are there are a lot of newly renamed people who are about to have a nasty shock when applying for new housing.
Take care, folks.
#trans stuff#transgender#credit score#united states#it is wild having an 800 spread between credit scores lol#a human being could identify there is a problem but so much life impacting shit is automated by stupid and biased algorithms

The number of people who claim to not read the news because it's "controlled by Zionists" when really it's because they're just lazy is astounding.
#gingerswagfreckles#Like stop lying at least lol you know it's not Controlled By The Jews you just don't want to#You know tiktok isn't a more reliable way to get information. But it sure is easier.#AND it has an algorithm specifically designed to confirm your biases!!! Double plus!!!#Antisemitism#leftist antisemitism#leftist hypocrisy#jumblr#jewblr

i made a whumpuary playlist last year where i picked songs that have the prompts as titles and it was fun so heres one for this january
it's just about the titles so the lyrics might not fit at all, but that could be good for a challenge or inspiration, so feel free to use it if you want! (or just to find new songs, i tried to put in a variety of genres)
#whumpuary#whumpuary playlist#i think one or two dont have lyrics at all even#def some very nice songs in there#all by different artists with one intentional exception#already thought of that when making the list - kind of a hidden thing that idk if anyones noticed lol#ok variety of genres but a bit biased to my taste bc spotify algorithm and i picked some i already knew and like#Spotify

#justice for my starboy#i may be a bit biased but jokes aside she was SO GOOD today#proof that algorithms are shit lol#emily sonnett

how much of your writing is ai generated
ngl anon kind of fucking rude to come here and accuse me of that. i don’t make fic just to rack up some arbitrary numbers, be that wordcount or idk, kudos. i make fic because i fucking care about what i’m writing about. if i didn’t, i wouldn’t write it, i certainly wouldn’t post it. AI fic is a plague on fandom for plagiarism reasons, obviously, but also because why should anyone give a shit about your writing if you didn’t? I don’t care if one day we have AI that makes stuff identical in quality to what people can, or better, even, because the words on the page aren’t the point, it’s always about the reason behind putting them down.
So, to answer your question, none of it. And it never will be. I’d rather never write again than stoop to that. And I certainly think less of anyone who does it themselves.
#ask#why would anyone want to read an AI generated fic. just to have more content to consume?#it will never matter it will never say anything because a writing AI has no opinions has no beliefs has no feelings#at most it has biases inherited from the dataset.#an AI can’t explain the choices in a scene to you. or why it picked one word over another. it can spew a bullshit answer if prompted but#that’s not why it made it. it made it because it was algorithmically generating words.#i make shit because it matters to me. the craft is as important as the final product.#if i was reading a fic and the person dumped on me st the last minute that they’d used AI to make it i’d block them. immediately.

on the one hand im glad the tiktok goblins are going to rednote bc that means the tiktok antis arent coming here, but at the same time i feel so bad for the chinese users there who are inevitably going to be harassed by a bunch of shitty american children, bc antis are extremely racist.
#proship#profiction#proship friendly#bad enough that these chinese apps are apparently biased against content that isnt 'clean' algorithm wise (ie: the gays™)#now theres a bunch of tiktok antis that are probably gonna call the chinese users slurs#my heart goes out to the poor fucking rednote users. you guys are gonna have the worst time ever

too many thoughts about the monza vlog to function i fear. but i do have a question for the elder tifosi… have the tifosi truly always been insane about all their drivers? like. i see some people say that they’d be this feral over anyone in red, it’s not just charles etc. etc., i genuinely cannot fathom this level of Crazy for all of them??
#not to mention I really don’t think Carlos has nearly the same devotion#but that may be my algorithm being biased or something idk#I’m not objective enough to assess carlos and Tifosi anbdsbdbbd#charles leclerc#f1#scuderia ferrari#monza gp 2023#*delphi

listening to my white coworkers complain very passionately and loudly that the google ai image generator apparently will refuse to generate a white family while trying to stifle my annoyance and laughter bc they’re insane
#luckily my boss is reeling them in lol#he’s explaining how algorithms are made by people with biases#like these 30+ year old men are babies#ever.txt

So, the thing with youtube word censorship is..... it isn't actually a thing. Very much youtube DOES restrict monetisation based on content, which can include sensitive topics like rape or suicide, youtube does! not! audio monitor most words!!
Yes, you can be demonetized for heavy, strong language or strong language in the first seconds. You obviously can be for like, slurs. Otherwise, you can't be demonetized for word use!*
*there is more nuance to this, but generally yes
I'm not like arguing with anyone in particular or defending youtube as a free speech haven, but it drives me mad when people diminish a serious topic by being afraid to say 'abuse' out loud, you know? When you upload a video, you get a form to fill and you have to flag if it has significant difficult content (shock/controversy/guns/sex/swearing).
(the see more here is much much more specific, this is things like suicide, self harm, eating disorders, etc)
Most of the time you won't have to flag any of it, because brief casual mention is fine. If you do have to flag, the lowest tier of discussion still rarely would result in losing any ad money. Notably, language used is not a specific factor, it's content.
...
This is also even more true for on screen text. There are certain things about explicit language being censored, fuck vs f--k, but the word suicide? does not need to be censored! You can put a trigger warning in right away, using many tricky words, and as long as your video isn't classified as for kids you should be scot-free.
Like, I know.
(It's all just born from the fear of 'the algorithm' which might be secretly monitoring audio to secretly censor things.)
#yewchube#or um. youtube#youtube#I AM NOT AN EXPERT THIS IS FROM EXPEREINCE AND BASIC KNOWLEDGE#DO NOT FORGET FLAGGING IS A HUGE FACTOR HERE#mass user reporting will bring human attention which might be biased or unfair.#Youtube also is secret about their algorithm obviously thats where the fear is. let me edit that in the main text

An instructor accused students of using chatGPT to write their papers after 'detecting' this by.... pasting their papers into chatGPT and asking it if it wrote them. So that's going great.
#I volunteered to be on a college taskforce about this bc although my knowledge is limited#I fear it is probably greater than many of my colleagues#and I want to make sure stuff about intellectual property and algorithmic bias get into the conversation#and ALSO biases in how this kind of stuff is enforced#which students are you looking at and saying 'hm I don't BELIEVE you could write this well on your own.#you MUST have had help'#not a good road to go down

ok listen. i know hbomberguy said he doesnt wanna become the type of youtube who spends their time doing drama videos or ruining ppl careers but like. if somebody doesnt start doing crazy detailed research on ryan hall, yall then i will
#hbomberguy#meteorology#ryan hall yall#like his info is good and he generally seems like a good gug but theres. some weird stuff#*guy#the lack of clarity regarding his education#the giveaways#the almost unnecessarily high production quality#the way his mods behave during livestreams#(theyre biased when regulating politics they link weather.gov when ppl ask for forecasts but respond negatively when other meteorologists#are mentioned/linked etc)#occasional thoughtlessness (magenta polygons instead of red are more visible but they confuse ppl and studies say theyre less effective)#the fact they he claims to live in kentucky but said the us had very calm weather while there were wildfires throughout the south&appalachi#(also i could be forgetting but if i rmember right he mentioned the drought maybe twice until he retweeted that video from james spann)#the fact that he used to review vapes#the shady sponsorships and sometimes downright untrue info regarding those#the guilt tripping asking ppl to donate#like theres def good faith interpretations available#he himself says that theyre trying to reach as many ppl as possible w warnings so they have to play the YT algorithm game#but like. some of its looking kinda weird man

#oilers lb#connor mcdavid#I’m sorry not beating a dead horse but the way algorithms have comedic timing#and this is just a joke lol not serious#but it is rather peculiar how controversial it’s been with Connor#also according to the comments the player apologized but lol#double standards and biases and what not and whatever#apparently he got suspended for one game#fascinating#very very very fascinating

I was putting in my votes for the game awards, and

(sweating thinking of Baldur's Gate) "My guy... I'm not so sure we got this..."
#The thing about games released early in the year is that i can't compare the hypes with later games without wondering if it's biased#So I went back to remember the soundtrack at least#Idk man I thought ragnarok had it in the bag last time and then elden ring walked up to me and slapped across the face soooo#I think BG3 wins GotY. It might be a more niche genre but it had so much hype in the first weeks and brought so much ppl joy#Totk was fun and innovative but had critics even within Nintendo fans. And i don't think it beats the impact of BG3#But maybe that's my algorithm- and recent-memory-biased experience. Ppl did make a ton of videos about crazy totk builds lol#Buuut the story is waaaay weaker in zelda so. I'm pretty convinced#We'll see. All i care about is Neil winning best performance

tagged by @synnthamonsugar (this was fun!): Shuffle your Spotify playlist and post the first 10 songs & anyone seeing this feel free to consider yourself tagged if you want. (@skippermoose I know you have spotify)
I don't use Spotify so I shuffled my music library once with iTunes and once with Plex, because iTunes shuffle is flawed to give me 2 of the same artist.
Having A Blast - Green Day
Krank vor Liebe - Max Raabe & Palast Orchestra
Slipping Through My Finders - Mamma Mia Cast
The Fallen Wolves - Destiny The Taken King Soundtrack
Sea Minor Shanty (Trap Remix) - OSRSBeatz
Liebeslief fur Orchester - Max Raabe & Palast Orchestra
Galapagos - Emancipator
Escape - Diviners on NCS: Elevate
Bring us Pints of Beer - Korpiklaani
Valar Morghulis - Ramin Djawadi
on Plex which pulls from a slightly bigger folder of music than iTunes:
Watermark - Enya
Summers End - Craig Chaquico
Winter Contingency - Halo Reach Soundtrack
Light - ODESZA feat. Little Dragon
Of Starlight and the Dark [Cursed] (Action) - Destiny 2 Gamerip: Forsaken
Flip - Glass Animals
Cherry Blossoms in Winter - Yoshida Brothers
Opening Credits - Hybrid
Dragostea Din Tei - O-Zone
Loreta and Desiree's Bouquet, Part 1 - George Winston
#music#it me#tag game#biases in shuffle algorithms aside i think this shows how much more i listen to soundtracks/melodic#than i do alt rock/pop/metal

Why the frick frack sniddly snap is it impossible to go on pinterest for refs only to get ads on EVERYPOST. Like this is insane. If i want a ref for overalls, then I shouldn't be bombarded with ads not relevant for my search off shoulder overalls. Like idgaf about your stupid overall dress when ITS NOT WHAT IM LOOKING FOR. I'm so fucking tired of algorithms turning everything into ads. I'm so tired of internet users being treated as cash cows on the internet. If you're going to provide a service then provide the service, don't provide only ads. I want my refs with a side of ads, not ads with a side of ref.
#rabit-rambles#Like im so tired of this shit going on everywhere#Search engines are biased algorithmic machines that dont focus on providing proper results any more#social media constantly tries to push ads and content not relating to you now alongside treating it like a pay to win (ad) format#And now fucking PINTEREST has fallen victim to the ad train#actually no I as a USER of pinterest has fallen to the ad abuse train#I hate this
