how do we feel about a dovesso actresses au ?! and i mean the whole thing, insta posts, interviews, very similar to my blackhill band au but bigger ?

also. the idea i have is that they’re dating but won’t come out until their press tour. slow at first, touches here, pictures there, get everyone thinking “hey are they dating?” and then at the premiere, they just kiss and go about their day. and then they do a sit down and give the whole interview and we learn everything about their relationship.

now i need help with what they’d be working on ?

Thanks to everyone’s participation and votes in our discord poll, we’re bringing this event back again! There will be a small addition this year but we’ll get to that in a moment.

Don’t know what to expect? Let us explain!

A stocking consists of prompts written by you as well as your likes/dislikes and can be posted by everyone who wants to receive a Blackhill-themed Christmas gift. Creators can browse all these stockings and fill them with fanworks tailored to your liking. And the fun part: All gifts will stay anonymous for one week. Who created this amazing piece you just found in your stocking? Try hunting for clues and make your guess.

If you have more questions, simply head on over to our stocking page. You can find the full schedule, list of rules, and our faq there.

If you want to participate, sign ups are open now! You can do so at our AO3 collection here! Simply fill out the form to start creating your stocking for someone else to fill!

Blackhill Bingo Poll

Hello, hello!

A couple of friends and I have been talking about fandom events and the general lack thereof for Blackhill. I know Blackhill Week used to be a thing but as far as I’ve seen, it hasn’t happen in a couple of years. I also haven’t seen any of the other popular events that happen with other ships though it’s possible I just missed them.

We would like to host such an event! A bingo, specifically. This post is merely here to gauge a general interest. If there is enough of it, we’ll start organising everything and likely start a blog for the occasion as well. That way we’d have a focused space to share updates, be reachable for questions, as well as share people’s submissions to the bingo itself. This won’t only be an event for writers either. Anyone creating anything is welcome! Writers, artists, people doing arts and crafts, playlists or edits. It can be anything so even if writing isn’t your strong suit and you’d like to participate, there is room for you!

Any reblogs as well as likes will be counted as an interested party (either to join or to see it happen, though obviously we would need a high enough number to start it at all). Weekend Plans by avesnongrata: this is one of the authors of gone to the dogs, so if you enjoyed that fic, i highly recommend this one as well! it has a nice mix of fluff and angst.

The Devil's Keeper by TheTruthAboutLove: oh my goddddd i'm obsessed with this fic!! it's a 161k time travel inhuman au and it is PHENOMINAL. the way the author weaves together the different plot lines is just *chef's kiss*. since it does have time travel, it might be a little confusing at first but i promise that it all comes together in the end

The Perfect Girlfriend by TheTruthAboutLove: OK so this is my favorite blackhill fic ever and may or may not be my favorite fic of all time. it's a fake dating fic FILLED with domestic fluff and soft angst. like i said, it's my fav

Water Lilies at Sunset by Dancing_Bean: there is so much domestic family fluff in this one!! i'm not sure your opinion on clint barton's family, but they are absolutely lovely in this fic. we also get to see nat and maria being Good Moms tm to wanda!!

flawed enough (but perfect for a person) by Crimsoncat: if you're looking for smut, try this one!! (it is a sex pollen fic so if that's not your thing, maybe not this one). tragically, it's on hiatus but the angst and smut is just too good

Thanks to everyone’s incredible contribution to the first Blackhill Bingo Event, we are now back for its second installment! We have adapted our schedule slightly, so please take a look here. In short, the event will be a month shorter than the first one, leaving space for people to not only enjoy the winter holidays, but perhaps also make the crunch for other events (be they ours or others’).

Early Bird Sign Ups are now open and will run until May 31st. You can sign up here!

I’ve accepted this as my canon. Best characterization I’ve seen, fantastic treatment of timelines and canon vs canon divergence. Another one of my favorite fan fics of all time, and I don’t even like future fics or child fics. Incredible.

Or you know... just continue to bury them in remodeling the house and Phil trying to raise a sheep and a million other things that go wrong and eventually very very right.
