Whenever I finish rereading "The Debt of Time" I always follow it up with a Remus/Hermione because I need them together somewhere LoL.

I had to look into this genus because these seemed familiar, and it seems I've seen a couple Trichostema out here in California too!

First I've got Trichostema lanceolatum aka vinegar weed, which always makes me crave salt-and-vinegar chips because it smells, well, like vinegar.

Then I've also seen Trichostema lanatum, woolly bluecurls, which are covered in little pom-poms and are adorable.

This plant is found throughout the eastern half of the USA, most abundantly in Florida and around the Gulf Coast.

Its fragrant flowers are very good for bees, and each flower only blooms for half a day at a time.
