modern fantasy where there is a supernatural world operating under the normal society.

it’s a throuple between a witch art teacher who is on the run after being attacked by a group of anti-witch sentiment werewolves (that murdered her ex girlfriend in front of her), sofia- a werewolf child psychiatrist, and her boyfriend will who is a selkie marine biologist

maura moves into a cottage next to where sofia and will live and she ends up working at the same school sofia works at

quite a bit of angst but also mutual pining and falling in love with the two people that make you feel safest in the world

Strawhats playing Catan?

Oh you mean Nami and Usopp dominating the whole game? Sanji just gives everything to Robin and Nami but somehow manages to keep his ground (ahem)? Robin being responsible for 90% of thrown 7 therefore blocking the most crucial spots for Nami and Usopp? Luffy and Chopper playing as a team and depending on Robin to help them? Zoro ignoring them, but once he joins he's the best at blocking roads so no one can branch out their towns and grow. Franky being the leading merchant for starter materials so he can dictate the tempo of the game? Brook either forfeiting (if the game gets repetitive, tossing the same numbers, being in a deadlock when no one wants to trade anything, etc.) or losing pretty fast? Yeah.

So what I thought was just a thick patch of dust on my dresser that I'd somehow missed cleaning it off the other week was actually... scuff marks from the guy's moving it out of their way and then back while doing the baseboards.

Pretty bad scuff marks too.

I've rubbed in the repair stain that worked so nicely on my floors and it looks fine now though I'll know for sure if the stain took in the morning when it's dried, since i had to use filler on a couple of small (but deep) scratches on the top that were made from use over time - those wouldn't take the stain but the filler did. These weren't deep, however, so I'm not worried. And, since it was at the bottom of the dresser, I buffed a few more scratches on the floor that I noticed while I had the stained rag out.

i really need to just go through and mop all the floors now to get the settling dust off them. But I swear every time I go into the guest room there's a wasp in there still. Today, go in there, wasp. I lured it into the guest bathroom by accident (I was aiming for the hallway light, but the bathroom lights were apparently more attractive). Anyway. Guess I'll be saving that room for last.

Esattamente una settimana dopo avervene parlato nel Tg table, ecco arrivare sui nostri tavoli A Paceful Garden, piccolo filler per due giocatori dai componenti sensazionali.

Quando la settimana scorsa gli ho parlato di Peaceful garden durante il Tg Table, molti si saranno accorti del mio interesse verso questo titolo, per uno come me che si fa a trarre come una falena dal fuoco dal colpo d'occhio al tavolo era scontato, quindi era normale che appena arrivato sugli scaffali delle novità di Hirtemis lo avrei acquistato, per parlarne qui sul canale.

A Paceful Garden è un gioco da tavolo per due giocatori dal tempo molto contenuto, un astratto che nel piccolo riesce a diventare un concentrato di strategia, nel gioco dovremmo attirare a noi delle farfalle facendo crescere tanti fiori, accanto alle farfalle, quanto il valore delle stesse. Nel turno avremmo a disposizione solo un'azione tra le tre a nostra disposizione, questa ristrettezza di scelte ci porterà a ponderare bene ogni nostra mossa, rendendo questo filler un board game estremamente strategico.

Aprendo A Paceful Garden, non sapevo cosa aspettarmi e all'inizio era un po' preoccupato nell'aver comprato uno di quei giochi da tavolo, sono belli da vedere e dalla profondità estremamente scarsa però già durante la prima partita(e non durante la lettura del regolamento) mi sono reso conto delle potenzialità del titolo: A Paceful Garden, risulta un board game molto competitivo che fa emergere ogni aspetto della sua profondità strategica partita dopo partita, ogni mossa ci farà scoprire come come muoverci in questo pacifico giardino(pacifico per modo di dire), per sfruttare al meglio i nostri fiori e catturare le farfalle di valore più alto oppure tentare di collezionare i set; anche la scarsità di farfalle e dei fiori rende questo gioco da tavolo competitivo, turno dopo turno dovremmo ben ponderare come agire nel tentativo di massimizzare al meglio le nostre scelte.

Sebbene non ami molto i filler filler (quelli da pochi minuti a partita ) e ancor meno i giochi per due giocatori, A Paceful Garden mi ha convinto subito oltre al colpo d'occhio al tavolo, molto appagante, il gioco si dimostra molto ben strutturato e soddisfacente partita dopo partita.

A Paceful Garden è un filler per due giocatori, dalla durata di 15 minuti, consigliato dagli 8 anni in su , edito da Studio Supernova.
