I have to report to jury duty tomorrow, so I'm picking out the books I'll be bringing with me. #LittleFiresEverywhere is my current read. I'm more than halfway, so I might try finishing it tonight and bringing another book instead. Also, all the books will be traveling in pouches/bags to keep them safe in my backpack. #TheCruelPrince is in a pouch that came with a Japanese fashion magazine I purchased years away. You know, those Japanese fashion magazines~~ Little Fires Everywhere is using the bag this night light I got as a gift came in. The night light looks like that and is super cute but it's old and doesn't light up anymore. It's just a decoration on my bookshelf now. They decide to split a bacon grilled cheese sandwich and a giant strawberry smoothie because Jonghyun isn’t that hungry and Jinki just…wants to see Jonghyun happy. The movie doesn’t start for another hour, and since it’s warm, they decide to walk around, talking about everything and nothing at all. The silences are comfortable when they come, and Jonghyun can’t help his flustered grin when Jinki tells him how cute he looks.

(There is a point where Jonghyun thinks Jinki is going to kiss him though - they’re by the pond near Jonghyun’s house and Jonghyun is telling Jinki about the time when he and Taemin went to feed the ducks and Taemin nearly fell in the pond, and when he turns to Jinki, his laughter immediately dies because of the look on Jinki’s face, concentration and sheer adoration and-

Jinki doesn’t kiss him, because the alarm they’d set to leave for the movie goes off, and Jonghyun doesn’t know if he’s more disappointed, or Jinki is.)

2 Dec 2017. Did you go to one of the Aussie #Unearthed launches? We had the Brisbane one last night and it was fantastic! Finally got to see Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner team up in person, and had a bunch of books signed! I wish I could’ve stayed around a bit longer but I’m still under the weather, so today will be spent resting (again) and maybe finishing off the audiobook of The Help. 1 Nov 2017. Who else is doing #NaNoWriMo this year? I just finished my first sprint and got about 2000 words done plus notes of what to work on tomorrow. I'm going to be carrying this #notebook around all month to jot down any ideas when I get a chance. Every little bit helps! I’ll also be using my gorgeous @BookSac to keep the notebook protected, because it’s entirely likely that I’ll be stuffing the notebook with pieces of scrap paper as well, and these book sleeves are so useful for keeping bits and pieces together.
