Oni! Hanzo falling for a villager

You owned your own inn and had loved there since you were a child

Your parents passed when you were 15 so you had to learn how to run it yourself or sell it

It was all you had left of them

So you kept it

Your parents used to tell you that they built the inn because a young couple had once welcomed them into their home when they were cold and starving

They swore they'd do that for others and you honored your parents kindness

One night a while you were cleaning your small inns porch you heard another villager scream. You wrapped yourself in your shawl and rushed out to see what was happening

When you arrived on the seen you saw 3 villagers holding swords and torches pointed at a dark blue lump on the ground

You hid behind as rock and watched as they shouted at the lump

You moved closer to realize this dark blue figure was a person

Once you realized these you jumped before then and shouted for them to back away

"Leave him alone!" You hissed

They immediately argued with you and moved forward

You argued that he deserved respect

One of the men grabbed you by a handful of hair and pushed you close to him

The blue figure looked up to reveal dark horns and pearly white teeth

You squeaked and the man pulled you back

"Do you know what this is? He's a demon! He could kill us!" The man shouted

You looked at the demon and noticed that he was holding his arm

"But did He? Did he hurt you?" You asked

"We were one step ahead"

Much less to say you fought them lost and told them you would take care of him

They thought that meant you'd use some demon kill ritual but what you meant was you were gonna help him

Once the men left you took off your shawl and wrapped it around his shoulders

He glared at you with dark cold eyes

"Are you hurt?" You asked

He only looked at you

"I can't help you if you don't answer me."

He nodded slowly and hesitantly

You helped him to his feet and helped him to your inn

You let him inside and sat him down in a spare room

You slipped off your shoes and ran to the bathroom to get a first aid kit

When you came back he hasnt moved

You slowly removed the shall from his arm and poured some disinfectant on a paper towel

As you tried to apply it to his skin he hissed and scratched at a pillow beside him

It startled you so you stopped for a moment and noticed that just pinching the pillow had sliced it up

You gulped and explained that you were trying to help him

He watched you very careful as you cleaned his arm and bandaged it

Once it was done you sat beside him

"This room can be yours whenever you want it. It's always here, I will leave it unlocked. If you are here just let me know.or leave a ribbon the door. I won't let anyone hurt you." You smiled at him and he looked as if he didn't believe you

You two were having a moment when his stomach growled

You two made eye contact and you couldn't help but to giggle

"I can help you with that to!" You becomes for hi mt o follow you as you ran into the kitchen

You heated up some leftover soup from the nights dinner and grabbed some bread and tea and brought it to the dining table

You looked around and almost didn't spot him

But his cute little horns caught your eye from around the corner

"Its okay you can come here." You sat the food down and pulled out the chair

He slowly came over and eyed you than the food

Then he pushed you into the seat

You tried to get up and he stopped you

"No I brought you food, it's okay to eat and-" you started

Then you felt a sharp pain on your arm

He bit you

He fucking bit you

"No!" You hissed smacking him on the head

It caught him by surprise and you jumped back

"Not me you jackass the soup!"

You looked behind you and searched through and book on your boolshelf

When you found it you briskly flipped through the pictures until you found one that matches him

He claimed on the table and picked up the bowl and examined it while you did so

"Here you are! Oni." You skimmed the page

"Eats livestock, alcohol, and ...... people"

"Oh dear."

Well at least the soup you gave him and sheep in it.

You ran to your kitchen again and brought out a bottle.of alcohol which you promptly gave to him

"There you can have all the soup and steak and alcohol you want. Just don't eat people. Or you cannot stay."

He looked at you and took the bottle and downed it in nearly 3 seconds it made you feel sick

Then he politely ate the soup like a human being which further confused you

He finished them and got off the table and bowed

"Thank you." He said quietly.

"You can talk!" You cheered

He smiled and it almost looked as if a blush crossed his cheeks

You moved forward to touch him and he backed away quickly and then in a blink of an eye disappeared

It says days until you found him again

And you knew it was him because you walked down the hall in your inn and saw a small red ribbon tied around the door

You smiled to yourself and entered the kitchen where you found him emptying 3 bottles of sake

"Well at least I know you have a favorite."

From then on he practically lived at your inn and you got him to start eating dinner with you

Sometimes you'd fall asleep on you couch and you'd find a blanket on you when you woke up

Youd date for him late at night reading and he'd curl up next to you while you did so

You find that he liked when you read to him

One late night the heating in Your inn failed to work which was not as bad because you had no current residents but it sure didn't help you

You left a lantern outside so he'd find his way to you because it was freezing and snowing like no tomarrow it was obvious that the storm wouldn't stop aswell

You got to cold to wait and instead went to your room and curled up under a ton of blankets to keep warm

You shivered for a long time, expecting to get hypothermia as you wandered in and out of sleep

Eventually you got warm, like really warm and when you awoke you noticed you weren't the only one in bed

You fought back a surprised cry when you saw him asleep on the pillow next to you

You two started going places together

Youd get groceries together and run errands in town

The villagers would give you dirty looks but you knew your knew friend was no longer a danger to you

He didn't talk much but when he did it was words of kindness

You knew he wanted to stay

AND he knew you'd let him
