My kid asked me to explain blood types to her today, which made me remember the odd little fact that in the character profiles that appeared at the ends of the earliest Bleach volumes, there are blood types listed for the human characters, but not for the shinigami characters. Shinigami obviously have blood, we've all seen it, we've seen so much of it, honestly, but is it like blood blood? Is blood transfusion a thing they do?
I did not have any particular recollection of anyone ever receiving a blood transfusion in Bleach, but I looked up all the hospital scenes I could think of off the top of my head. Both Byakuya nor Hinamori have sort of a notable absence of things sticking out of them. I'm no expert and I don't even particular like doctor shows, but this is a situation where I would expect both of them to have IVs for hydration, if nothing else. Hinamori's got a respirator and some mysterious carts off to her far side, at least, and maybe Byakuya's just far enough on the upswing that he doesn't need it anymore.

Next shot was the famous Rukia and Renji sharing a hospital room scene.

Renji's respirator goes...under his blanket? Is this right? This doesn't seem right. Rukia doesn't seem particularly attached to anything, although there's kind of a bundle of wires? tubes? coming out of her right shoulder area. You can see them better in this shot:

That sure doesn't look like medical grade tubing, the lower one looks kinda like Hihiou Zabimaru, tbh. IVs usually work by gravity, no? Also those tubes are way too big to be going into someone's veins.
Finally, here's Kira, getting his dubious Squad 12 medical procedure.

More shady, giant, intestine-ass looking tubes that... go into him? wtf. They're attached to a computer. Maybe these are data cables?
The upshot of all of this is that I don't think shinigami have blood transfusions. I can't imagine that they don't know about them, so I imagine it's more of a case of their blood is just part of their soul, like, all of them is just soul all the way down, and it would be nearly impossible to accept a transfusion that was made of someone else's soul (soulmate-enjoying fanfic writers, take note). They do like sticking tubes in people, tho.
This sucks because when I was originally thinking about this, of course I was thinking about all the blood Renji has in his body and whether or not he's a universal donor, because, frankly, if he is, I think they would have a special framed painting of him at Squad 4 and let him have as much donuts and apple juice as he wants.
I think the main reason manga list characters' bloodtypes anyway is because Japanese people use it as a personality test, similar to horoscopes. For the record, here are the characters whose blood types we know:
Ichigo - AO Orihime - BO Chad - AO Tatsuki - AO Isshin - AB Uryuu - AB Don Kanonji (????) - BO
When I was trying to look up what they meant, I found this hilarious graphic, thank you verywellmind dot com
Looks to me like these blood types were definitely chosen to tie into personality at least to some degree (I'm not sure about Isshin, but he probably has fake Urahara Shouten-brand gigai blood-substitute anyway, so I am choosing not to read too deeply into that). Anyway, along those lines, judging from this chart, if we wanted to bootstrap Renji's blood type from his personality, I think he would, in fact, clearly fit into the idiot-on-a-skateboard quadrant. So he is a universal donor! (or at least he would be, if he were filled with blood instead of high-concentration ghost juice.)
#bleach worldbuilding#tw: medical#rukia feels like an AB to me??#i welcome the insight of people who are more medically literate than me#but i actually have a blood phobia which is why i didn't do very much research into that side of this post

When I Was a Teen, I Wish My Parents Had Known This…
Let me start by saying that I love my parents. They are wonderful people who worked hard to provide for me and my siblings. But if I could go back in time and give them one little cheat sheet for parenting teenage me, I’d have a few notes.
I was the oldest daughter of two working-class parents, which meant that, by default, I was a responsible, high-achieving, slightly anxious overthinker. When I was a teenager, my family moved from the only hometown I had ever known—the place where I had spent my entire childhood—to a new town and school for my freshman year of high school. And let me tell you, that was brutal. High school is already a social experiment in survival, but navigating it without a friend in sight is tough.
My parents did their best, but they were strict and gave me lots of feedback. They didn’t really know how to coach me through my academics or help me navigate an entirely new social environment. They were of the "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" generation, and their approach to parenting was, "Figure it out, and if you mess up, we’ll be here to remind you how not to do it again."
What I Wish They Had Known
Looking back, what I really needed wasn’t someone to tell me to study harder or to just "put myself out there." I needed more open, meaningful communication. I needed my parents to:
Ask, not assume. Instead of saying, "You need to get more involved," I wish they had asked, "How are you feeling about starting over? What's been the hardest part?"
Validate my struggles instead of minimizing them. Moving schools at 14 is a big deal, but when I brought up how hard it was, I often got, "You’ll be fine, just give it time." That might have been true, but what I needed in the moment was a simple, "That sounds really tough. I can see why you’d feel that way."
Guide, not criticize. I knew my grades mattered, but instead of, "Why didn’t you get an A on this?" I needed, "What’s challenging about this subject for you? How can we figure it out together?"
Why Parents Today Need to Focus on Communication
Here’s the thing: Teens today are navigating an even more complicated world than I did. Social media, academic pressure, mental health struggles—it’s a lot. And if parents aren’t having real conversations with their teens, they’re missing out on opportunities to truly support them.
Your teenager needs to feel safe talking to you. If they know every conversation will turn into a lecture, a criticism, or a dismissal of their feelings, they will stop coming to you. And trust me—you want them to come to you. How to Have Open and Meaningful Conversations With Your Teen
Listen More, Talk Less – Sometimes, teens don’t need a solution. They just need someone to say, "That sucks. I hear you."
Ditch the Judgment – If they open up and you immediately criticize their choices, that door closes fast. Keep it open.
Ask Better Questions – Instead of, "Why did you do that?" try, "What was going through your mind when that happened?"
Make Time for Unforced Conversations – Not every talk needs to be a "serious sit-down." Some of the best moments happen when driving, cooking, or just hanging out.
Show Up Consistently – Teens may seem like they don’t care, but they notice when you make an effort.
Final Thoughts
If you’re raising a teenager, know this: They may not say it, but they want to feel heard, understood, and supported. The more you create a home environment where they can talk openly without fear of criticism, the more likely they are to turn to you when it really matters.

Historically accurate (enough) Ben Tallmadge be upon ye.
Explanation and history spiel under the cut <3
TURN did better than most period pieces with costuming so I didn’t really have to change that much (flowers for Donna Zakowska), but my own historical costuming brain was like But What If I Did?? Now I obviously took some liberties here for the sake of clarity and The Rule of Cool, but I’ll explain them when we cross the bridge. I’m also not a historical fashion expert. My end goal for this was to integrate real life concepts into the stylized depictions of the TV show.
Until around 1780, the Continental Army was notably impoverished, and had no standard uniform (and arguably it never would). Soldiers and militiamen simply wore their civilian clothes, and high-ranking officers wore repurposed uniforms from other conflicts if they had them. But for the most part, it was hard to distinguish the average private from a commissioned service member. To differentiate ranks, color-coded sashes and cockades were worn around the body and pinned to the hat. These would indicate to everyone who held which title with no uniform to go off of.
Season 1 Costume:
Some background: 1776 is widely agreed upon as the terrible horrible no good very bad year for the continental army. They were beat down and penniless. If the Americans were to ever loose the AWI, 1776 would have been the year it happened. Washington was pulling the army up by their threadbare bootstraps. The monumental loss of New York to the Brits and subsequent fleeing of the continental army to Connecticut was the main sore spot here, and in that chaos is where TURN season 1 starts.
Ben Tallmadge in TURN is a major and and Aid De Camp (he might not be officially named as an ADC but for all intents and purposes he replaced Hamilton for like 2 whole seasons so I gave him the title anyways). Prior to Washington begging congress to order uniforms in 1780, Ben would have been frolicking around in his plain clothes for the majority of the war. Men’s plain clothes of this era included the linen shirt, waistcoat, cravat, coat, breeches, stockings, buckled shoes, and a hat.
The reason cockades were chosen to denote rank is because wearing a hat in public was actually considered common decency. It was improper (or at the very least lacking manners) to not wear one out. Every man would be wearing a hat, thus they would always have their chosen cockade on display. Ben wears a red one, which signals that he is a major. In the show the hat custom is forgone in favor of actually being able to see the actors’ faces (and their amazing hair), which is totally understandable. I’ve restored Ben’s hat in my design, though.
Another thing I have added is a pair of spatterdashes, which are cloth sock things that buckle over one’s shoes and shins to keep the mud and gunk from ruining the stockings and soaking down into your shoes. Ben spends most of his time outside, and has no issued pair of boots (which weren’t really the most efficient or comfortable form of footwear at the time anyways) on account of the No Money thing, so he wears his spatterdashes to make his poor buckled shoes last longer.
In reality, Ben would have been wearing this utterly dazzling outfit until the end of season 3. However, I’ve decided to suspend the historical record and let him have a Season 2 glow-up into the blue-coated major we all know and love.
Season 2 Costume:
So after 1780 (or I guess 1777 in this case), Congress decided to fund Washington’s request for regimental uniforms across the continental army. Not everyone was wearing a blue and white coat, but Ben Tallmadge was. Turn’s portrayal of the iconic garment has the top of the coat unbuttoned to make it look less goofy, which I’ve kept here because I agree with the change. His coat is also fairly loose-fitting, which is another thing I kept because it gives the boyish yet elegant look befitting of an inexperienced yet determined continental major. Tallmadge would have only been nineteen/twenty years old at this time (the average age in the American army was sixteen), so highlighting his youth was a good decision on TURN’s part.
Buff/white (more like off-white) waistcoats and breeches were another standard item worn by all soldiers and ranking officers (circumstances permitting).
The green sash indicates his Aid De Camp status, which I didn’t include in the S1 look because it would have looked extremely strange. These may have been out of fashion by the time uniforms were introduced, but we see Washington wearing his own blue sash throughout the entire series, and Ben is the king of idolizing that man (and boasting that Washington considers him important), so I have him wearing it.
His red cockade is gone, instead the gold insignias mounted on his shoulders (these were introduced by John Hancock in 1779) tell his rank as a major. In place of a red cockade is a black and white one, which became the standard throughout all the ranks. He could have worn a cockade designed specifically for majors and ADC’s, but I haven’t seen any evidence of these being used save for hearsay and they elevate the look from foppish to full on decorative ice cream, so I excluded them.
Now down to the boots. I swiped these directly off of George Washington’s uniform, which they have displayed at the Smithsonian. It’s more likely Ben would have still been wearing that trusty spatterdashes+buckled shoes combo (this was the standard of the British forces at the time), but to honor The Rule of Cool I let him have those genre defining boots. He does see more combat on horseback as the series progresses, so the boots aren’t entirely inappropriate.
Conclusion:
Despite my obvious passion for this topic, I understand why TURN made the costuming choices it did. Having the continental army just be a group of Random Guys would have been confusing to the average viewer who does not know all this trivial nonsense. And to their credit, TURN actually did dress the nameless extras pretty appropriately throughout the whole series. I just think that showing the continentals in their true “rag-tag volunteer army in need of a shower” form, then have them progress visually throughout the show would have been a brave and effective storytelling choice. It would have been a bit ahead of its time, but now that it’s been ten years I don’t think the creators would care about me dogging on them.

The Pitt theory: Langdon will be the one to find Robby on the roof and comfort him.
Throughout the whole show we see Robby refusing to open up and or accept help from others. Even people he has a close relationship with like Jake and Collins. He needs someone to comfort him that he is close to BUT would be a bit of a wrist from the audience.
This is where Langdon steps in: He and Robby’s relationship is a mess. The two are at odds with each other. I don’t think Langdon can redeem himself SIMPLY by turning him in. He needs to fix the broken trust between him and Robby.
If you hadn’t notice Langdon this season has been learning to very value skills:
1. What it means to be a leader
And
2. Empathy!!
Langdon has been quick to dismiss patients and not build a close relationship with said patients. BUT through the other residents and students we see him learning. Langdon learns how to be more empathetic to the autistic patient. We see him learn how to give praise to the other students and NOT just criticizing what they did wrong. Langdon is learning how to be a better doctor and build better relationships. Him finding Robby on the roof would be a perfect way to complete his arc AND redeem himself.
Thoughts?
Ha!
And my theory is that we won't get the rooftop scene at all. (you heard it here first ;)
Remember, they filmed all the outside scenes at the beginning, before all the scripts for all the episodes were written and filmed. But then things happened and maybe it turned out that the scene on the rooftop doesn't fit anymore?
From the storytelling perspective (and I daresay I'm an expert on (theory of) plotting and plot points and how to build and resolve tension in the story), we reached rock bottom with Robby sobbing in the pedes room. I don't see him getting in even worse shape mentally.
Then again, the preview for 1x14 teases measles outbreak, so... What do I know?
That being said, if we get that scene, or even someone comforting Robby now, after that ending of 1x13, I would be very happy if it was Langdon (I even wrote fic ;).
You make a great point about Langdon being a proxy for the audience. We know him, we've been with him for 13 episodes. I think that in the preview it is Abbot who comes behind Robby, but Abbot was with us for a lot shorter, right? He's an outsider, whether you like him or not.
Nonetheless, I have a feeling Robby will pull himself up by his bootstraps and go back to work.. *shrug*
As for Langdon's redemption, however, I'm afraid it will take longer. Like all of season 2 (YaY! Love me some good angst!). If we are shown the first step toward redemption this season, that will be all.
I agree that Langdon has been learning what it means to be a leader, but I'm not sure about empathy. It depends on how we define empathy, I guess. I like this comparison:
Empathy means that you feel (know) what a person is feeling.
Sympathy means you understand what the person is feeling.
Compassion is the willingness to relieve the suffering of another.
I think Langdon has natural empathy, but lacks in sympathy and especially in compassion sometimes. And yes, those two he is learning throughout the season.
Thank you for the ask, Nonnie. :)

"the government pays for it" GOD I WISH AMERICANS (not you obviously) WOULD WAKE UP AND REALIZE THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD PAY FOR EVERYTHING
"but my tax dollars!!" You don't want your taxes to go to good causes but instead into the pockets of billionaires? Its bullshit.
(The thing im talking about was on askUK however)
You are right tho! While this sentiment exists everywhere its very strong in america and its so sad that people don't see that the government is meant to serve society and taxes are meant to help the people. A healthy society is one that is provided for by its government. All the issues that people want to be solved with "pull yourself up by the bootstraps and fix it yourself" simply *cant* be solved that way on a societal level. The amount of support and coordination involved from specialists and experts and service provided simply cannot be done by the individual.

So I recently watched Hamilton for the first time on screen. The first time I saw it was actually in person, and tbh I don't recommend it, because I couldn't parse all the lyrics in the moment and couldn't see the choreography and expressions. It's actually an extremely good musical and story?? The music itself is very good and the character arcs are really, really well-plotted and anyway I get the hype more now. I've spent the last few weeks reading a fuckton of old fic, it's been fun and I've enjoyed it.
And I have SO many thoughts about Hamilton and about history and fandom and stuff >:3
Here's my mini-outline for this post:
>my understanding of historical realities
>how that relates to the choices made to frame Hamilton the way it's framed
>how that relates to the modern fandom
>sidetrack into fic that's about reincarnation and some technical problems with that
>fic idea that I'll never ever write
1. My understanding of Hamilton, the actual historical figure, is that he, like the rest of the founding fathers, was not incidentally or casually supporting slavery and other kinds of injustice. That was the POINT of the Revolution. I am so, so so very far from an expert, but I did take this really interesting class that talked about how there were essentially three parties in the American Revolutionary War: there were rich British people, there were rich American people, and there were poor American people. And the rich American people won.
My understanding of the reason for the infamous debt plan is BECAUSE it basically allowed rich people to be the creditors and collect interest, maintaining a social order in which rich people stayed rich and poor people stayed poor. Like, look at it this way: rich people lend money to the American government, poor people are taxed and therefore pay the interest on those loans, keeping them poor; rich people become invested in the success of the government, staying in power in the government, making money off poor people. It's very clever! It's also not something that I personally find admirable. 2.
I think that it is FASCINATING to look at how successful Hamilton has been. To be clear: I really enjoy the story, I find it incredibly well written and just fun. And I think part of the reason I find it easy to love is because it is in many ways about white people, telling familiar stories.
It's a story featuring actors of color, and it SAYS things about and to the experiences of people of color. But it's in large part a story about historical rich white people. I have done no research, but the only line I can think of offhand that's even directly to a historical person of color is Jefferson going “Sally be a dear put my bag down” once. She doesn't get a line, if I'm remembering correctly, just nods.
In some ways, Hamilton kind of feels like it says, “Look, people of color can have the same kind of stories that rich white people can have!” (which, to be clear, I would LIKE to be more of a thing.) To be even more ungenerous, it feels in some ways like that age-old tradition of rich people escaping the stigma of being rich by pretending they're poor, or white people in blackface. Like, sure, we'll have characters of color, but only if they're telling white stories. Only if whiteness is still centered.
And, of course, it's very much a story about social advancement and a person who starts out poor becoming rich, which is another beloved archetype that is increasingly impossible in the real world. You get to see the same capitalist story of “poor person pulling himself up by his bootstraps” but with trappings of liberal progressiveness.
Which is an excellent recipe for success, because it removes some of the stigma of enjoying that kind of story, and also genuinely allows people of color to relate in real ways to a story that historically DOES NOT make room for them in that way. Hits a lot of audiences.
I do not think Hamilton would have been commercially successful if it was about Sally Heming's story. And I don't think most audiences would enjoy it as much, because the story of “this person was personally impacted by injustice for their entire life and was not able to escape it in a big dramatic scene” is not really as easy to watch? Like stories of resilience can be so, so impactful, but. I do not think they're as fun or compelling as “this person pulled themself up and changed everything!” for me personally, most of the time. 3.
The fandom absolutely echoes all that nonsense, because fandom also centers whiteness, like, almost exclusively – at least the fandoms I've been in, and I admit that's probably in part because my tendency is 100% to center white rich voices and to enjoy those familiar stories. But it's also like... not hard to find those stories, even if it weren't my tendency. I trip over them; I don't have to try. It's way harder to find stories that don't center whiteness.
And I wonder for myself, like, what do I do about that? There's books and stories out there about Sally Hemings, I'm sure, but I haven't read them, and I don't really want to. I like the fantasy world of fandom where Alexander Hamilton is a 20-something extremely liberal trans guy from the Caribbean.
I don't think the solution is “be ashamed of what you like” but I don't think it's really enough to be like “be aware that what you like is primarily centering white capitalist rich propaganda”, either. I mean, awareness is great, but it doesn't FEEL like it's enough.
Maybe it's “cultivate an appreciation for stories that don't center whiteness and richness”?? And not in a homework kind of way or “go track down 20 documentaries about slavery” but in a way where it's like, recognize that the kinds of stories that you like and find fun to watch/read/listen to can absolutely be written without centering whiteness/richness. It would be HARD to hit some of the same narrative beats of inspiration that Hamilton hits in a Sally Hemings musical, but hell, I don't think it would be impossible to do that. (Obviously the story would not be the same, and it shouldn't be, but I'm just saying that stories of people oppressed by unjust systems can still be inspirational and fun! they don't always have to be tragedies!) It may even be out there and I just don't know it.
I think right now, Sally Hemings: The Musical would not be commercially successful, even if it DID hit the same narrative beats as Hamilton. Because it's too threatening to tell that story, in a lot of ways. But that's what I would like to do. Work towards a world where A. racism and poverty don't fucking exist and B. fandom and mass media are less racist and classist and etc.
….I'll go into fic ideas in a new post, since this feels like a complete thought for now.

who do you think would be the funniest real life person (dead or alive) to fall through an omenpath onto thunder junction
Mark Rosewater, due to the following probable sequence of events:
Mark falls into a setting he is not outright an expert on, but knows enough about that he can survive without immediately getting turbofucked by the wildlife.
Through his existing knowledge of the magic system (heh) he manages to bootstrap his way into some kind of spellcasting. Not necessarily strong, since he's just a regular guy otherwise, but enough that he can probably get by using that once he reaches civilisation.
Due to having all the plot details ahead of time, he manages to become an information broker of sorts, leaving his clients regularly scratching their heads as to how the fuck he could know any of this.
This goes well right up until Jace arrives on the plane, and using telepathy manages to find out that there is a man who a: knows everything about his plans, b: knows everything about his life, and c: is at least indirectly responsible for the many many unpleasant times Jace has had throughout it.
We are proud to present the Fall 2024 Magic: The Gathering set, Bring Me The Head Of Mark Rosewater (MRW for short), wherein all the iconic characters of the Magic multiverse converge on Thunder Junction to beat the shit out of one middle aged card game designer.
(Optional) Blogatog answers suddenly become extremely accurate and include photographic evidence, which is a net win for all involved.

The sketch artist
Pairing: Davy Jones x reader
Warnings: None
Requested: @thesamuraiofsingapore
Request:
Heyy hi if it's possible I would like to make a request! With like Davy Jones when he was still human who discovers in his crew a girl who pretended to be a man only to become a sailor and one day Davy discovers that Reader spent his time making portraits of him with little hearts and things like that. Idk if I explained myself well 😭 If you don't accept it's fine byee <3
***
You can’t recall on how long it’s been since you’ve voluntarily traded yourself in on Jack Sparrow’s behalf to settle his debt with Davy Jones.
You would literally do anything for anyone, it didn’t matter if it was for someone you know, or for someone who was a complete stranger to you. But you knew Jack Sparrow, not just by name but by basically growing up together as childhood friends. The both of you were close, not in a romantic way, but through a friendship way.
Even now, you still kept that friendship close within your heart. When you offered to take Jack’s place, Jack protested against it, but you wouldn’t let him convince you otherwise. Jack couldn’t help but feel angry about it, angry about losing you as a payment in debt, angry he wouldn’t have someone there to be keeping company. With a whispering plea and a pleading look, Jack reluctantly agreed to let you go.
But it was more of what you asked of him.
“Please. Please let me do this for you. You’ve given me so much already, I’m certain of this.” you promise.
———
As you keep thinking of that moment, it still feels as if all that happened yesterday.
The memory of the first night stepping onboard the Dutchman, was still just as fresh in your mind. As you think of it, after accepting the terms of one hundred years of service, it dawns on you it’s been five years since the trade. Your personality is unique, you are an expert on letting yourself show no fear at all when it’s struck within you. You didn’t know what Davy Jones would do to you, but you know at some degree of what he is capable of and is known for doing, and guessing how it all may turn out scared you more than for it to actually be happening.
When you got there, you were surprised that Davy Jones seemed to be sparing you the treatment his crew was forced to go though without a fight. Rather, the captain would give some tasks, mainly the smaller and lighter ones to which you never once refused. Overtime, Davy Jones started growing a soft spot for you as you were surprising yourself that you were beginning to like him and not mind being around him so much. Bootstrap noticed of course, and when he approached you about it one day, he approached you while sitting in some shade, obviously in a different world drawing in your sketchbook.
“What’s that you got there?” he asks, over shoulder.
You nearly jumped at his voice.
“Sorry, miss. I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“It’s fine, these are just some of my sketches I’ve done.” you reply.
You look to Bootstrap as he’s giving himself a closer look at your drawings, and is immediately admired by your talent.
“These are really good, they should be framed of the wall of the ship.”
Bootstrap goes on with the compliments until he stops at a picture of Jack Sparrow.
“You still think about-“
“That one was from a long time ago.” you say, cutting him off.
When Bootstrap turns to the next page, you’re face drains of color, embarrassed by the sketch he had just found.
It starts from a sketch of Barbossa, and Bootstrap himself, to now something more surprising. It was surprising enough that it would have one raise their eyebrows as a sign of their interests.
It was a half drawing of Davy Jones. The idea to sketch Davy Jones had come when you heard him mentioning of Jack Sparrow to Maccus. As you knew it was going to be another challenge to conquer, you were confident enough to sketch him by memory. You had his image in your mind, but later on, you knew you’d be needing more than an image, and that’s how you came about sitting in the little bit of shade you could find.
“Is th-“
You quickly swipe the sketch book away from his hold.
“That’s, that’s nothing. Really.”
Bootstrap didn’t want to press on, or make you say anything you don’t want to.
So he nods in understanding before inviting you a walk around the ship, to which you accept. But not before returning that sketch book to your quarters. Once you did, you weren’t thinking and had only thrown it on the bed before turning away.
———
While on your walk with Bootstrap, Davy Jones had a task assignment for you, and sent Maccus to go fetch you from your quarters.
Once Maccus had reached your quarters, and there was no response to his knocking on the door, he lets himself in, thinking you might be asleep. However, to his surprise, you weren’t at all there, the only thing that was left in his sighting was of the sketch book that was left behind. Because he had some sort of respect for you, guilt tripped him a little as he takes it into his own hands and opens it.
He couldn’t help but make a face of disgust seeing the first drawing was of Jack Sparrow, than to Barbossa. When he got to the sketch of himself, he froze and admired before turning the next page. The half drawing of Davy Jones was a shock to him, but as he got a closer look, he noticed there had been tiny hearts around the art. The next thing he did was take the sketch book with him to hand it over to Davy Jones himself. The captain needed to see this, or so that’s what he thought. It would soon turn into a disaster after you would find out what Maccus had done.
Or at least, that’s what you had thought.
Only time will tell.

Mux HCs if that's alright with you
Yeas ofc!
Mux
she/her
Bi. Thinks this and putting her pronouns in her bio absolves that she is a billionaire CEO.
Basically the yass queen slay girl boss girl dinner girl math im just a girl version of some sick fusion of Elon and Bezos.
Nice nails. Big on nail art
Probably has the same sort of rabid army of fans that elon has but it's guys who think they have a chance and like. space techbro esque women.
Sometimes plays with her employees like dolls and plays out little scenarios
Canonically Annoying About Ayn Rand.
Avid reader. Her bookshelves are probably full of crummy self help books and Colleen Hoover-esque shlock.
Keeps plants. Keeps killing them.
Has probably killed half her exes but that's ok ig yass girl slaaaaayyy literalllyyyyy
Individualist and a huuuuge believer in the "pull yourselves up by your bootstraps no I'm not aware that this phrase was coined to be an impossible feat and that it's meant to be sarcastic" school of thought
Will grill her employees for even considering calling in sick but on the rare occasion she gets the sniffles she CANNOT fucking take it she will act like she is dying
Will kill an employee if they have AirPods in. I wonder if anyone will get this reference.
She will, however, also force her employees to dance on MikMok.
Honestly muxxalon hq might as well be a prison.
The parasites are a separate species that have a more symbiotic relationship with Mux's, though it's more like her species is so huge that a horde of the damn things is more like waterweight than anything. She can send them out to eat and in return they will protect her and help do her bidding. And it just so happens Mux's bidding is working themselves to death under space capitalism
And there's plenty of her species they just spread out through the planets and galaxies because one is enough to drain the resources of one area. This is also partially why Muxxalon moves around so much, so that resources in one place aren't exhausted
I hope you can still sleep peacefully knowing there's a thousand megalomaniac play dough blobs out there full of parasitic worms ready to start their own companies and timeshares. as for me, this will prove difficult.
Big on grenades. Was considering Muxxalon brand glitter bombs but alas they never got developed 💔
Out of touch with the working class
Overcomplicated starbucks order. Orders overcomplicated cocktails. Hyperspecific, arbitrary instructions on any possible food service imaginable. And god forbid you get it wrong...
I will once again mention I am playing with the idea of her having dated Giblets. It's like if you took all of Elon and Grimes's traits and shuffled them around between the two with a bit of Besos sprinkled onto Mux for good measure. And if one was a huge bag of unfortunate looking organs and the other was a neurotic little worm. of course. They would be so hilariously dysfunctional.
Would. Would Krimothy be like. Their X AE A-XII? With his Bugsnax sounding sort of name? If he’s their kid and not Giblets x some other worm thang? Does Krimothy just have some half sibling named something like Oobleck Delta Kappa Theta the Twost? The possibilities are endless and increasingly distressing!!!
Going 2 be honest in my mind her concept design(?) and the Mux we got are two different unrelated people. They’re just so different 2 me
Beta!Mux/Scrapped green chick was a weapons dealer-expert-mechanic something for the G3 and left pre-Gatlus invasion for reasons unknown.
Judges HARD when it comes to zodiacs. I just realized how fucked up space zodiacs are because every galaxy solar system etc has different constellations… do you think there’s zodiac conversion charts…
Beefing hard w/ Gurgula on the down low. Mux threw a fit about tracking chips or 5G or something in the translator microbes and she felt so attacked by his reasonable response that his packages have all come late, been lost, or boobytrapped ever since. He is trying his damndest to stop using/buying from Muxxalon but there's such a fucking monopoly on space postage. Every time it's not a brand owned by Muxxalon or something she somehow gets word of it and makes it a mission that he just. doesn't fucking get what he ordered on time.
Needless to say he was ecstatic when the BH got her ass. He is pretty sure that the company won't be crumbling any time soon but hopefully the new CEO is a bit more reasonable. Right?
Right?
Please, God. Let something good happen for once.
#I mean she was right to not trust them#just for the wrong reasons#high on life#high on life game#high on knife#mux#muxxalon#headcanon#headcanons#asks

You ever just walk into what was surely old as hell SUF discourse in a YT comment thread and just go- "wooow, people don't understand that children can't fuckign bootstraps their way outta developing PTSD?? ?"
That is a CHILD. A child is still figuring out p much gd everything because we are NOT a precocious birth species. A kid is still just trying to understand how the world works man, you can't exactly expect them to be mental health experts with unrealistic amounts of personal insight to their plights to go, "hm, this is not a coping strategy that will carry me past Trauma Times. I need to figure that out rn!"
Istg... that mouthpiece has probably:
A) Never actually experienced PTSD in their PERSONAL life (and I mean PTSD - NOT just an acute trauma response - because damn near EVERYONE will exp SOMETHING traumatic in their lives at SOME pt... it's when that shit sticks its hooks in you for months to years) or...
B) Actually you know what. I'm not gonna armchair this shit. I just know insight is a fucking skill you gotta learn.
#just getting my psych nerd ass all riled up a lil... pffft#(not me thinking abt the impostor syndrome shit i had that MAYBE i needed some help to deal w/ my own shit)#(that i couldn't figure it all out on my own?? ?)
