Realized the caption to my last post sounds like passive aggressive engagement baiting but I assure you it isn't; for some reason the post got glitched when I posted it a while back, where for some reason it wouldn't show up in my blog's tags and got like a fifth of the notes my commission posts usually get. Another post has the glitch, and sure enough it still doesn't show up on my blog's Commissions tag as of the time of writing this, so I think it's blacklisted or shadowbanned from tags for some reason. It's hovering at 29 notes right now, while the one I fixed and reblogged at 40 notes already broke 100+, so I think something's up.
I'm only mentioning this so that if anyone else happens to encounter this problem when clicking in your tags and seeing a post not show up for some reason, here's some things that can maybe? work? to fix it. I tried this on the post I reblogged, and it shows up in my tags again.
Save all the pictures uploaded into post, then Edit and remove them from the post, leaving it empty save for its text caption. Add one if it doesn't have one already.
Remove all the tags, and put them back in, in a new order.
Save the post. Edit it again, and reupload the saved, tumblr-compressed pictures back into the post. Save.
With any luck, your post may be viewable again to others, and begin to regain any traction it lost. Very silly but thems the breaks

Several smaller fixes yesterday (some typos, a missing sentence that made it seem like your skin colour is emitted from soup (should be a delicious smell actually), ROs already being referred to with titles while discussing titles) have been joined by a slightly bigger one just now - I forgot to account for the possibility that people might not've set RO genders by the time they meet them, causing their names to be empty. It should be fixed now.

Note
On mobile I'm unable to scroll down when picking a past, like when you click and get a brief description of the background, there's no scrollbar or anything in order to confirm that past
As long as the error fix is not released, I can suggest the method that I used. You need to enable the "pc version" in the page settings. Then all the buttons appear. After you made your choice, you can go back to the mobile version
Here's a temporary fix for everyone facing this issue!

Full list of bugfixes coming in Pouchie The Cat Alpha 0.5:
Fun-Guy spore will actually hurt Pouchie
If Pouchie gets injured, mobs will no longer insta-die when walking in front of him
You can now swing Pouchie's mallet immediately after obtaining it.
Pouchie will no longer take double damage when getting hit by two mobs at the same time.
Cannons in World 2 should no longer be able to shoot a new cannonball until the old cannonball is destroyed
Players will no longer be able to skip incomplete dialogue.
Gravity was altered to be slightly less sharp, and should result in easier management.
Some mob placements and level layouts have been re-touched due to odd placements.
Certain mob hitboxes have been changed so that Pouchie no longer gets hurt landing on the top of mobs.
Assuming no other major bug pops up in game testing, Alpha 0.5 will release before the end of the week. Thank you for your patience!
Alpha 0.4.9 still has all of these bugs active, if you wish to try them out yourself! The itch.io link will update when the new update releases, but the Newgrounds link will be permanent:

The “YourSpace” Tumblr theme is very nice and customizable. However, there is an issue with unsecure HTTP links when you try to edit it. To fix this, find-replace all every “http:” to “https:”. Also add an “s” right here for this thing in the header. Fixed it for me.

Improper Alignment due to default package setting
Tumblr media
In a report generation software, with the option available “Export as PDF” the reports are exported in PDF formats that can be downloaded. Not quite, whenever the reports were exported to PDF formats, the PDF files lacked readability as there was an improper alignment issue.
When we looked into the improper alignment, we found the issues were due to the default settings of the PDFMake package content. The application collects contents from data centers and generates the PDF report.
We use an API call to invoke the data centres that responds with a . JSON format(encrypted) with a 64 — bit base. Only after the code’s been decoded, it employs the PDFMake Package 0.1.54 to generate the PDF report.
Still, we did not get an expected outcome. Moreover, the report could not be manually aligned. By default, the contents in the report were left aligned. While re checking it was found that the package did not employ the properties “preserveLeadingSpaces and preserveTrailingSpaces”.
Tumblr media
After restarting the execution, the contents still lacked alignment. We identified this was because of the default font style “ROBOTO” that comes with the PDFMake Package. To overcome this, download and include the “LUCIDA CONSOLE” font style. Now we got a perfectly aligned readable PDF report.

Manor Lords, the medieval city-planning strategy game that took Steam Early Access by storm, is proving to be full of surprises. While the game promises intricate city management, large-scale battles, and a robust socioeconomic system, players encounter a unique set of "features" along the way, some more delightful than others. This article delves into the unexpected discovery of a rather "undead" bug within Manor Lords, exploring the technical quirks of Early Access and the developer's commitment to squashing them. Manor Lords Beyond the City Walls: Exploring the Depths of Early Access Manor Lords launched on Steam Early Access, a platform where developers provide players with a playable version of their game while it's still under development. Early Access allows for valuable player feedback and helps developers identify and address bugs before the game's official release. However, the nature of Early Access also means players might encounter unexpected glitches and shortcomings. These can range from minor inconveniences to more humorous or even creepy occurrences, as seen in Manor Lords. The Case of the Unkillable Bull: A Creepy Glitch Emerges One such "feature" discovered by a player named Deathgrinderallat involved a seemingly ordinary bull. After the unfortunate demise of this bovine citizen, its lifeless body remained within the game world. While a deceased animal taking up physical space might be a nuisance, the true surprise lay beneath the surface. Technical investigations revealed that, from a programming standpoint, the deceased bull hadn't truly shuffled off this mortal coil. The game system continued to recognize the animal as alive, adding it to the overall livestock count. This resulted in a phantom bull, haunting the game's code and taking up resources despite its physical demise. This "zombie bull" incident highlights the unexpected nature of Early Access experiences. While some bugs might be minor inconveniences, others can create truly bizarre situations that add an unexpected layer of humor or even horror to the gameplay. A Developer's Response: Squashing Bugs and Building Trust Thankfully, the story of the undead bull doesn't end on a creepy note. Manor Lords developer Greg Styczeń, upon being informed of the issue, acknowledged the bug and confirmed its resolution. Players can expect a patch shortly that will officially lay this spectral bovine to rest. This prompt developer response builds trust with the Early Access community. By acknowledging and addressing bugs openly, the development team demonstrates their commitment to creating a polished and enjoyable final product. Beyond the Undead Bull: The Value of Early Access The Manor Lord's "zombie bull" incident, while humorous, serves as a microcosm of the Early Access experience. Players have the opportunity to directly influence the game's development by providing feedback on bugs, gameplay mechanics, and overall balance. Developers benefit from this real-time testing environment, allowing them to identify and address issues before the game's official release. Early Access can also foster a sense of community between players and developers. As players encounter strange bugs and share their experiences, a sense of camaraderie and shared discovery emerges. This collaborative environment can ultimately lead to a better game for everyone involved. Manor Lords: A Game Full of Potential with Room to Grow Manor Lords' Early Access debut demonstrates the game's intriguing potential. From robust city management systems to the unexpected discovery of undead livestock, the game offers a unique blend of depth and quirky charm. As the developers continue to address bugs and iterate based on player feedback, Manor Lords is poised to become a compelling addition to the strategy genre. Frequently Asked Questions Q: What is Manor Lords? A: Manor Lords is a medieval city-planning strategy game currently in Early Access on Steam. Players manage a growing city, overseeing its economy, social life, and even large-scale battles. Q: What is Early Access? A: Early Access is a platform where developers offer players a playable version of their game while it's still under development. This allows for player feedback and helps developers identify and fix bugs before the game's official release. Q: Are there bugs in Manor Lords? A: As with any early-access game, Manor Lords may contain bugs and glitches. However, the developers are actively working to address these issues based on player feedback.

Hello rubber ducks. Error im running into is javascript/react project where onclick i want to scroll to the bottom of the page, but the element is null that im trying to reference.
Going to try either setState{this.state} in the else brach that checks if element is null
Or if theres an easy way to scroll to the bottom of the page (not the current element) that would be ideal.

Primal Essence Version 0.03 update 10/14/2023
10/14/2023 Version 0.03
I originally wanted to put this off until later but there were some major bugs that needed to be addressed
Bugfixes:
-Fixed Pots n Pans using Placeholder animation
-Fixed Guard being usable at 0 AP
-Fixed Sharpen Blades using Placeholder animation
-Made it so Chapter Boss cannot be defeated before Second Phase
-Fixed Steve’s ‘Exhaustion’ skill applying Speed debuffs to target that uses a Speed debuff skill against him
-Fixed yet another animation bug for Dagger!AB Guarding that cropped up after fixing the previous animation bug (if I see another looping Guard animation I
swear I’m gonna lose it)
-Fixed crash when viewing AB’s ‘Clarity; Skill (For Clarity’s sake it was using a removed image file)
-Fixed Quest Counter sneaking its way into screens where it doesn’t belong after Loading a game from the Save Menu
-Possibly fixed an issue where an enemy could rise from the dead to attack you before finally expiring (but I could never figure out what causes it to begin
with and it’s difficult to replicate so who knows)
-Fixed a bug where using an area attack when one of the targets is inflicted with Fear would delay the ATB of subsequent allies
-Possibly fixed a bug where Steve’s portrait would be locked into 'Damaged’ if Dynamic portraits was turned on and he uses Cover on an ally during an area
attack.
-After freeing the Trapped Guy, fixed his shop accidentally allowing you to sell items to him.
-Added missing flavor text to the furniture in the Side house
-Fixed one passability bug it’s too minor for me to bother mentioning
Changes:
-'About’ option in System Menu now only gives Version number. Changelog is instead found as a .txt file in game folder
-Minor adjustments to a few animations, so insignificant they aren’t even worth mentioning
Text correction:
-Combat Instructor no longer refers to a removed game mechanic (checkpoints)
-Corrected the cook’s sense of direction (now says ingredients are in the bottom-right instead of bottom-left during the cooking tutorial)

WhatsApp Beta for Android Fixes Chat Sorting Bug: Here’s How to Get It
Tumblr media
Hello Tumblr users,
We have some exciting news for you! If you are using WhatsApp on your Android device, you might have noticed a bug that prevented your chat list from updating properly when you received a new message. This meant that the conversation with the most recent message did not appear at the top of the list, and you had to close and reopen WhatsApp to fix it.
Well, worry no more! WhatsApp has released a bug-fix update to address this issue on Android beta. The update is version 2.23.16.7 and it should be installed automatically on your device if you have enabled the Google Play Store’s auto-download settings. If not, you can manually update WhatsApp from the Google Play Store.
This update will make your WhatsApp experience smoother and more convenient, as you will always see the latest messages on your chat list. You can also enjoy other features of WhatsApp beta, such as the video message feature that lets you send short video clips to your contacts.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging platforms in the world, with over 2 billion users. It is owned by Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, which also owns Instagram and Messenger. WhatsApp offers end-to-end encryption for your messages, voice calls, and video calls, ensuring your privacy and security.
We hope you enjoy this update and keep using WhatsApp to stay in touch with your friends and family. If you have any feedback or questions about WhatsApp, you can contact them through their website or social media channels.
Thank you for reading this newsletter and stay tuned for more updates from Tumblr!
I hope this newsletter draft meets your expectations. If you need any further assistance, please let me know. 😊

first little bugfix, reported by a reader on CoG
exiting cheat menu or enable/disable tooltips menu after accessing them from stats menu should work now
choices when taking a walk in the garden after not having a breakdown should work now
Орлёнок Demo Release
Finally, the demo is here! It's not exactly January anymore, but better late than never, right?
You can play it right here!
I also made a post on the CoG forums, if you want to check it out: Link
Features include:
Meeting your family! And getting bullied.
Getting executed!
Rising from the dead!
Celebrating life by slaughtering some rebels!
(Being extremely miserable!)
Feedback:
This is, quite obviously, a work in progress. It is made available so that you, the reader, can give feedback that improves the game.
So, while you can - and should - obviously tell me whatever you want, a specific list of what I need most in terms of feedback can be found here:
Language. English is not my first language (actually, not even my second one), and I mostly read non-fiction academic works when I read in English, so my writing is certainly not at the level it should be. If you have any concrete issues, please tell me, and I'll try to learn how it can be improved.
Spelling. I don't expect much in the way of outright errors, but I do know that I mix up British and American English all the time. The intended style is American English, so please point out spellings that are wrong in that regard.
Inconsistencies. There are a lot of variations between scenes, and I'd like to make the story as immersive as possible; so, if a phrasing, a character's behaviour etc. feel like they don't fit into the choices you previously made, please tell me. In detail, if possible, otherwise I won't be able to amend it.
Sensory descriptions. AuDHD makes my brain process sensations, including visual impressions, very differently, which means I often end up forgetting those exist. Please tell me about scenes that lack description in that regard. (My first grade elementary school report card called my writing 'efficient and devoid of feelings', and I'd very much like to move past that.)
Technical problems. The code should be pretty solid, but with how complicated it is, it'd be weird if there weren't at least some problems. If you find them, please try to include as much detail as possible when telling me about it. (CS Quicktest and Randomtest are not usable due to the complexity of the code, lol.)
You liking the story. I remain thoroughly convinced that I am a worthless person who isn't able to, nor deserves to create anything, and currently my only motivation to continue this project is derived from pure stubbornness. So, if you, for some reason, actually like this demo, please tell me. It won't change my mind about how bad I think it is, but it will force me to continue in order to avoid being even more of a disappointment.
Additions. If I like your idea, I'll probably add it right away; if I'm unsure, I'll do a poll. You can get me to do almost anything if you say you're sad if I don't do it.
Formatting. Although I try to playtest as much as possible, it's not that easy with how many variations there are, and in VS Code it's sometimes hard to see how well or badly readable text passages actually are.
CWs/TWs (v0.0.1):
Graphic violence and gore
Attempted sexual assault (against the player, avoidable, f!MC only; also against an NPC if massacre route is chosen (is dealt with quickly))
Suicide attempt (by the player, avoidable; f!MC only)
Loss of loved ones
Massacre of civilians and/or PoWs (avoidable)
General misery
(please let me know if you think this needs additions)
As of yet unfinished content:
Autistic variations do not exist yet for the latter part of the demo
Only one of three locations for taking a walk available for now
Tooltips are incomplete
Asexual is not available yet, as it requires a lot of additional scene variation text
Special (psychopath) routes are missing from some scenes as they were added late in development
Choices that are locked and marked as (WIP) are unfinished
Interaction routes for Semyon/Selena, Mikhail/Marina and Leon/Leah. They are top priority for the first set of updates
It is recommended that you play this with a stable state of mind. If you choose the suffering paths because it's relatable and/or as a coping strategy, please make sure you have support available and avoid triggering yourself too much.
The whole point of this game (apart from the dress-up part) is that, no matter how bad things get, you shouldn't stop fighting. It's your enemies who deserve destruction, not you.
Please keep in mind that I am both literally insane and pretty reasonable, so: if there is anything you find grossly offensive, don't assume I meant anything bad by it. Just explain to me why you think it shouldn't exist, and if I am convinced, I will amend it.
