How did the fairy fountains move. Really. How. Zelda would poke and prod if she wasn’t so concerned with accidentally entering a pact with more ancient spirits. Link might have been able to get away with it, but he’s quite content splashing around in the fountain’s healing waters.

Very exciting day for great fairy lovers and lore fans alike. It makes me wonder what would happen if one of them decided to reincarnate as a regular person like Hylia did… would her descendants have sacred powers of some sort? What makes Hylia hide away from everyone (except presumably Zelda’s mother) when the great fairies give their blessings so freely, I wonder? Are the tiny fairies also gods, or demigods, or different creatures entirely? So many questions…
