Just had a thought, it's completely half-baked: So, um, NoME I think, said that there totally could be hröar without any fëar running around, right? Translating: there could be moving bodies with no souls/occupants left.
Zombies. Middle Earth has zombies.
And when would be a better time for zombies to roam around than after Nirnaeth Arnoediad? Even more after Second and Third Kinslaying. You know who would have a perfect opportunity to fight zombies to the point of habit? Fëanorians.
So I imagined the situation where Maedhros and Maglor fight some zombies, successfully turning them into parts (I mean, duh). Then Maedhros says something self-hating like "Surely there's more good to them than was left of us(me) as it hunts and hurts without consent, intent nor will, unlike us(me)."
And Maglor looks at him, then at the zombie's head he holds. He reaps the skull open (with his hands, yes), takes zombies' brain out, and throws it at Maedhros with "We also have an evidence he had a brain, unlike some brother of mine."
Cue Medhros releasing the MOST Older Brother Sigh.

So y'all think they were laughing at us
Like
Y'all think they saw how we were losing our collective shit over Arms and they were just sitting back and giggling about what was coming next
Because literally the second he started undressing my brain started making a noise like when you put a couple of shoes in a washing machine

i absolutely hate it when i remember the game night in the woods on a random tuesday night because how am i meant to act normal when this won’t stop until i die, but when i die i want it to hurt. when my friends leave, when i have to let go, when the entire town is wiped off the map, i want it to hurt. bad. i want to lose. i want to get beaten up. i want to hold on until i'm thrown off and everything ends. and you know what? until that happens, i want to hope again. and i want it to hurt. because that means it meant something. it means i am something, at least... pretty amazing to be something, at least...

Unhinged Mae x Noa thought of the night:
* WARNING: Noa x Mae flirting, if this not your cup of tea keep scrolling ✨
After arguing as usual, Mae would stare silently at the night sky, Noa comes up behind her and lightly caresses his hand down Mae’s back and apologizes, she’d lightly shiver, breath hitching slightly while Noa is clueless how his touch effects her

Essentially, Noa is the archetype of the classic hero: honorable and naive, raised in a safe place with a happy childhood surrounded by friends and family who love him. His world has always been confined to the village where, to top it off, his father was something of a leader, giving Noa an important status within the clan. From a specific event, he begins his journey towards adventure and the understanding of everything around him. He emerges from the cave both literally and metaphorically. Ironically, this happens when a character typical of adventure stories appears in his life: the outsider with ambiguous morals and dubious intentions, whom you can't entirely trust, and whose actions do not adhere to the laws of ethics and morality. Yet, the hero is destined to encounter this character time and time again because their paths are inexorably linked. What's amusing about this is that the archetype of Mae is often portrayed by men in fiction, hence why the dynamic, with her being a woman, seems much more interesting in this case.

Last night I played through the part of Night in the Woods when Mae finds the old abandoned Mallard the Duck float tucked away and says something along the lines of “I loved you as a kid, everyone forgot about you, but I didn’t, I love you, and I’ll come visit” and it just got to me
Something about revisiting things from your childhood that brought you such an innocent joy and reveling in the nostalgia of it, regardless of its popularity, regardless of its fall from grace, regardless of it being forgotten, regardless of it being unconventionally nostalgic

Qimir: *learns to be a fast as fuck dangerous sith*
Mae: …I guess that’s cool :/
Osha: Yeah, now he’s twice as fast, doesn’t make him smarter, he just makes bad decisions faster than before.
Mae: Hmmm… Imma go with him, you go with the Jedi.
Osha: *just glad to be rid of both of them* Thank fuck.
