thoughts on feral troll viva and poppy?? (in a non shipping sense, family/sibling dynamic) i'm going so feral rn for trolls/broppy (poppy is my beloved)

I love the idea of them meeting, realizing, and Poppy just gives the most soft happy sigh before hugging Viva carefully

Assuming that this is in the Feral Branch universe, Poppy knows exactly what it means to be a feral troll. Poppy would be understanding and patient. Viva is more in tune with others than Branch was, as she only spent a few years away

Poppy would let Viva lay over her. Think of like when Great Danes or Maine Coons laying in your lap. Viva would also definitely try to lick Poppy; the instinct to brush one another's hair translates more or less into that for feral trolls.

I think they'd still have a very silly sibling relationship in the end. They'd play around a lot, making up for lost time. But Viva would be horribly over protective. She'd recognize Branch as one of the only people who are "safe". She wouldn't trust some of the pop trolls, not because of anything bad. She just doesn't know them, y'know? That's her kid sister who she lost once. She can't loose her again.

Poppy also would love to play with Viva's ears. Fluffy cat like ears??? Sign Poppy up. She loves messing with her boyfriend's ears and you bet she'd play with her sister's. They are close enough for Viva to not bite her hand off

So the Broppy kids I haven't really developed in my head yet. Mostly have little bits of 'scenes' like JD saying to baby Harmony that if he is her first word he'll get her a pony.

Will think about it a bit more and draw them soon. 💕

John Dory - yes indeed he has sworn off having kids and is content with being the crazy Uncle that brings the kids gifts and stories. (He does get married though 🤫) Dun dun dunnnnn

Bruce - I imagine he and Brandy are done having kids but sometimes playfully threaten eachother with more. 😂

Clay and Viva have two kids. Viva had the eggs and Clay carries them once they detached.

He reeeallyyy wanted to name their first born Clay the Second. Viva said no, why don't they name it Viva the Second?!

As a 'compromise' they squished their names together. Almost naming her Cliva 😂 but settled on Clover. (Close enough, and it has a special meaning to them) 🍀

I have half a brain story about how when the Putt-Putt Trolls first arrived at the course, the only thing they had to eat were patches of clover but Clay always saved the four-leaf clovers for Viva.

Second eggo is a little boy that they call Birdie. Nature related like the Pop Trolls/Golf related to acknowledge their past/to symbolize freedom. 🐦⛳

Floyd. So I ship Floyd x Boom. ��� Haven't developed them much yet either but I know they both have an egg each....at the same time. Woops. 😂

My thoughts for Boom is that he likes space (Lance Bass inspired 😊) So Floyd and Boom would name their kids something spacey like Moon, Galaxy, Comet or Astro. Haven't decided. 😁

But as times passes, both eventually (and unintentionally) dig to the core of who their roommate really is. And lo and behold, the brightest blossoms still wilt when the sun dies and dreary rainclouds are just the façade of tomorrow’s clear skies.

Tumblr has been a little wonky for me lately, have tried to post this poll before and am hoping that it works now bc it wasn't showing up before for some reason 0_0

But anyway, I'm super excited about Trolls Band Together and what it could bring for the Broppy ship. From what it seems, it looks like the Bridget x King Gristle wedding happens in the beginning of the movie. Since Poppy and Branch have the whole "that would be weird" feeling about the idea of their own marriage, I'm guessing this dilemma is going to be something that will be resolved by the end of the movie :3

That being said, how much do you think we're going to get out of this movie?

Trolls ideas I want to write but idk if I'll ever have the energy:

-Hickdory fic where Hickory & John met long before the movies, when John was traveling and Hickory was a bounty hunter. They part ways when Hickory gets tasked with a bounty and John decides to move on with his travels, since Hickory is leaving. They reunite when John is at Pop village after TBT, and Hickory is stopping by to do some trading in Trollstopia and visiting Branch & Poppy. John doesn't recognize Hickory at first, since Hick embraced his country fashion, but they hit it right back off. Cue cute shenanigans and probably Poppy scheming to get them together cause she thinks they're cute.

-Guy Diamond/Floyd (what's the ship name here - fly diamond? Pink diamond? Idk) fic where they met upon their arrival back to Pop village just after TBT. Guy is worried sick over Tiny and is so exhausted from looking for his son that he didn't even change his glitter from his colouring from the wedding. He gets introduced to everyone after a heartfelt reunion with Tiny, and Floyd finds him endlessly endearing for his dedicating and care for his son. Cue Poppy hosting a party, and Guy skipping it to ground his kid, while Floyd is too tired to stay too long, so instead the two spend the evening together. Good slowburn.

-Broppy fic where Branch is the only troll to be rock zombified after World Tour, cause Barb goes to hit Poppy again instead of the other tribe leaders. Poppy stops her, but Branch doesn't turn back to normal and Poppy stays gray/dark after everyone gets their music/colours back because she feels guilty about Branch. Barb tells Branch to listen to Poppy (since he would only listen to Barb) and obey anything she tells him. Poppy takes him back to Pop village to try and figure out a way to get him back to normal. Cue the events of TBT and Poppy helping John Dory find the rest of Brozone in the hopes that it will fix Branch.

IM DYING, PEOPLE, IM FUCKING DYING

I’ve watched the troll 3 trailer aND NOT ONLY I WAS DISAPPOINTED, I WAS FUCKING OUTRAGED. I STILL AM.

The first shit! They decided to say ‘fuck you ;3’ to the first and the second movies in several ways, but what most importantly they decided to do that with Broppy. The main pairing, ok?? Like, hey, it’s a good ship, I like it like I like my Parb, BUT! Dreamworks threw Branch’s and Poppy’s character development out of the window. Either that or they think that Branch can’t say his opinion after partly regaining his colours and after the second movie where it was important for him to speak his mind, and they may think that Poppy is stupid or unable to learn after a WHOLE ASS SECOND MOVIE PLOT ABOUT HER LEARNING TO LISTEN TO OTHERS. And why would Branch and Poppy be afraid to talk to each other?? Don’t start with me about it being some sort of lesson for kids, they had it in world tour, but they just decided to take a shit on it and repeat. That’s terrible. Communication issues are so funny and healthy, yes, hooray, that’s the shit everyone need to see and exactly what kids need to learn, RIGHT, DREAMWORKS??

The second shit! It’s not big, but I haven’t seen any other troll tribes in the trailer. Maybe they conveniently forgot about them like they did with DJ Suki and bergens in the world tour, who knows :)

The third and the most major shit! THEY FUCKING IGNORED BRANCH’S BACKSTORY FROM THE FIRST MOVIE. WHAT THE ACTUAL SHIT WITH THE LOST BROTHER? BROTHERS?? ITS A BOYSBAND OF BROTHERS FUCKS SAKE???? AND WHY IN THE ASSCRACK IS HIS NAME JOHN?? Feels like they didn’t even try to do something good, because why? Kids are stupid, they can eat any shit, why make them something of good quality then?

Maybe that’s just because I’ve only seen the trailer, but even like that it feels just lazy.

There was a big thing about Branch being completely alone after loosing his grandma, they had the plot about Poppy learning to listen to others, they had the plot about Broppy getting together. And what did they do? THEY DECIDED ‘FUCK THAT NOISE, YOU DUMB BRATS, YOU THOUGHT THAT WE WILL MAKE SOMETHING WITH A GOOD PLOT? LMAO YOU ARE STUPID! There! You can have a romantic relationship with shit communication, the classic. Oh, and shitty plot about long lost siblings!’ Blatant disrespect to the fanbase.

I really hope that the movie either will be at least not as bad as I think or will be ignorable enough. Because I believe that kids and adults who like stuff like trolls(and any other media) deserve good quality content. Still gonna love the first two movies(second could have been a bit better, but it has good ideas, so I’m content).

And since I’m finished my rage screeching I can add that you may even like the third movie, it’s your right and it’s ok! But being critical of the stuff that you consume is important too.

JFKSKFJDN i love these little guys. i love everyone who loves these little guys. i think sometimes all u need is a deeply funny kids movie about how it’s possible to be happy and find happiness without hurting others. and accepting friendship and kindness to get u thru dark times. and cyndi lauper.
