↪dating the port mafia's 'white reaper' definitely wasn't exactly something people knew about. atsushi would've preferred to keep it a secret as in his line of work the last thing he'd want is for someone to take advantage of someone he held dear to his heart.

↪everyone saw a bloodthirsty, vile killer who has no heart and could kill anyone friend or foe alike without a second thought. an emotionless killing machine. but you knew better, deep down he was simply a man afraid to die.

↪he would feel ever so lucky to have someone in his life who saw him as a person and loved him for who he was really. so many people have pushed him away and looked down upon him as nothing but a vile creature and so he may become a tad bit clingy and protective.

↪he is protective of everything he deems valuable and that includes you. he would willingly throw down his life if it meant you were safe and happy, even if that included betraying the mafia. you would quickly come to learn just how much he would be willing to do for you.

↪he believes he is only worthy of living if he is able to save those he cares about and so if anything happened to you he would feel an immense guilt - part of the reason he wants the relationship to be secret.

↪however, having a secret relationship didn't mean he wouldn't take you out if you really wanted to go somewhere with him - he would happily indulge you with anything you asked. even of he had been busy all day, he would always make time for you because he knows how often he is working.

↪but that being said, he still enjoys just relaxing at home with you - especially after a very long week. all he'd want to do is let his guard down with one person he trusts with his heart. he specifically enjoys being cuddled into your side on the couch as you two watch an awful film.

↪around you, he just wants to be himself. he wants to be able to let his guard down and spend time with someone he truly values. he would absolutely melt if you cuddled him and he was the little spoon, he would feel so loved and safe that he'd nearly break.

↪he absolutely loves spending time with you. quality time is something he goes for as he knows he doesn't have that much spare time and so he wants to make up for it by fulfilling his time with you. maybe a close second would be acts of service as he just wants to thank you for sticking by his side.

↪and after everything had gone down, when he returned to the orphanage, he wouldn't of asked for anything more as he was overjoyed you stuck by his side

Headcanons @from-hell-till-dawn and I came up with:

Chuuya: has a major crush on Dazai, is mad as hell about it, thinks Dazai and Atsushi are seeing each other secretly, hates Atsushi accordingly Atsushi: confused as to why Chuuya hates him & very intimidated by him. Tries to subtly wingman, makes everything worse. Dazai: Creating an Odasaku Stalker Collage in his bedroom, literally on his last leg, planning to blame Chuuya in his suicide note. Oda: oblivious to everything, eating curry, living his best life.

In both the film and the BEAST novel, Dazai tells Atsushi and Akutagawa that they must protect the Book and Yokohama because of the danger ahead.

It is implied that more than two people should not know about these events, as it could alter space-time and make the world that Dazai so painstakingly created disappear.

However, in the film it is mentioned that Fyodor DOES KNOW about these events, so he appoints a hitman to get rid of Akutagawa and Atsushi as soon as possible.

This makes me seriously think about what role Fyodor plays in the entire series:

• Indeed Fyodor was not murdered, and it is impossible for him to be killed. Since he plays an important role as the "Grand Inquisitor" (and I think it's God/Christ himself but I'll talk about this later), the Book doesn't have an effect on him in the same way as it does with Dazai.

The potential of knowing Mori's past with Atsushi joining the PM is so amazing because there's a huge contrast in those two with Atsushi being more like a Vita-Sexualis-Young Mori compared to Dazai who is more of a Dancing-Girl-Young Mori

I love… BEASTverse. Atsushi’s look is inspired by his look in the Hoshikawa manga style. I assume it’s meant to actually be blood in that and isn’t just implying that Atsushi wears excessive eye make up and cries a lot, but…
