HELLO EVERYNYAN!! As you may or may not know, my name is Sho, and I am the host of the cathedral astroplex, a collection of 11(+) systems within one body! There's a bit more about me below the cut :P
WHAT THIS BLOG IS FOR: this is a MUD coining blog! feel free to send in requests! i have a hyperfixation on psychiatry currently, and will do my best with whatever you give me. All I ask is that you give me at least 4 symptoms to work with per disorder per request. You may request up to three separate coinings within one ask.
This blog is welcome to everybody. Be kind to each other.
!! CONSIDER ME AN ID DUMPING GROUND ! YOU ALL MAY GIVE ME NEW IDENTITIES WHENEVER YOU WOULD LIKE ^_^ !!
MY COINING MASTERLIST CAN BE FOUND HERE (WIP)
FOR MUD REQUESTS!!
Please include at least 4 symptoms, as mentioned above! These can be physical, emotional, etc. You may include as much detail as you'd like- the more the better! My MUDs do not come with flags. My MUDs will be formatted as follows;
Diagnostic Criteria: Symptoms.
Subtypes (if applicable):
Diagnostic Features: Expanding upon symptoms.
Associated Features: Ways that symptoms may impact daily life.
Risk and Prognostic Features: These are all assumed by myself.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Tagged by @leviathiane !
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
109!!! I'm a writing machine
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
507,410 ^-^
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly HxH right now, but I'm always thinking of writing more Zero Escape. I also have fics for AITSF, A3!, and other stuff (obligated to mention that I have 57 A3! fics)
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Care - Mizuki & Date (AITSF) Coexisting for Traumatized Detectives - Yosano & Dazai (BSD) An Undefined Truth - Killua/Gon (HxH) Shaking - Kokichi/Kaito (DRV3) Love, Justice, and the In Between - Boss & Date (AITSF) ...Most of these I still love, but one of them is indicative of my dark, dark past. I'll only link the top kudos'd.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes!!! I try to every time!!! Because I like getting responses as a reader mostly, it's nice to know that I've made someone's day better and I like the community that comes with comments!!! Also it's nice to add numbers to that comment counter.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
kill switch, save switch (Zero Escape) - Everyone dies in the Submarine Ending!!!!! Honorable mentions to: Turning Back (A3!) - Chikage abandons a child (not of his own choice, but fully aware of how damaging it is) and then thinks that they're probably dead Playing the Part (AITSF) - Iris is dead, but nobody knows it. Blood Trails Leading Home (AITSF) - It's an Annihilation End fic, everyone is dying and the antagonist is planning to kill even more people.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I try to give most things a hopeful ending at LEAST fdkfkkgfdff it's impossible to choose. I'll go with Follow the Light to its End, a Killugon fic that ends with a kiss ^-^
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really? I did get a comment recently that said "once the confession is over, I don't feel the love anymore. Still nice fic," which......... thanks (sarcasm) Usually comments like that are people trying to be nice but ending up too blunt... so it's whatever.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Nah. Nothing against it, just not my zone.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Sometimes!!! Never in the form of X meets Y though, always putting one character into another's universe. I don't write them often, I'd write them more often if there were more people who would read them and my niche ideas. I think the only one I can remember posting is paradoxical, an A3/ZE crossover which. is crazy. What if Azuma's brother Hajime was actually Hisoka's brother August, but in the same way Akane from Zero Escape is June--the way that June is a mask, a cover. What if they were in a nonary game. What if Azuma accessed the morphogenetic field. CRAZY.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope! But I'm totally open to it!!!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Sort of!!! I did the Masukyu magic AU series with my friend Mikey :> Cowriting is really hard but it's fun.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
ALL TIME is hard. I'll give you a top 3: Killua/Gon (HxH), Hisoka/Homare (A3!), Junpei/Akane (ZE) Also honorable mention to Chikage/Citron/Itaru (A3!) for being the subject of my longest fic.
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I'm constantly writing like 5 things at once, so it's a gamble with everything I write... I really doubt I'm going to finish the Pariging time loop WIP I have though orz I really love what I have so far of it, it's just... I don't know where it's going orz
16. What are your writing strengths?
Character emotions!!! Showing how characters respond to each other!!! Introspection!!! I like to think I'm pretty good at a lot of things.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I've been working on making sure that my characters don't talk in a void lately T-T I'm not BAD at description, but it so often falls to the wayside... Also comedy is hard for me.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I mean... it can work, I suppose? I wouldn't do it myself, because I'm not confident in any language other than english (I'm sorry high school german teacher...! I fell off because of covid...! I'm unlikely to use more than a couple german words for Klavier's faux-german thing, if I ever write a fic about him, lol) When other people do it, it's fine, except if I notice them using it wrong I think it's silly.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
First fandom I wrote a fic for ever: Warrior Cats First fandom I posted a completed fic online for: My Hero Academia
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
Since I have so many it's kind of impossible to choose... But I'll say my long fics, especially the 40k multichapters. I put so much work into every long fic of mine, I can't choose a favorite child T-T Here's a link to my AO3, filtered for only fics over 10k words just in case anyone is interested in the 8 longer fics of mine Also mentioning you, at last, a little shorter than the above at 8.6k, but definitely one of my favorite A3 fics I wrote!!! It's a platonic soulmate AU, I'm constantly tempted to use the AU for another fandom because I think the rules of soulmates in it are really good. And while it's not a long fic, I reread smoke signals (HxH) recently and I love what I did with it. I think a lot about it still because I think that the offscreen apology Gon is implied to have given Killua is really interesting, and smoke signals is me writing my idea of it ^-^
Tagging... anyone who wants to, I suppose!!! If you're a writer and you're reading this I'm tagging you. Yes, you.

hi sorry to pester you again, but I was thinking how bsd guys would react if their s/o was fukuzawa's kid? like biologically related. (we have wayyyy too many orphans in the goddamn show ngl 😅)
There’s no need to apologize!! And NO YOU’RE NOT PESTERING ME AT ALL DKDKWMAKS love love love this idea. I’m only gonna do the ADA peeps and the port mafia peeps^^ will not be adding Mori cuz well— yeah… that age gap is slightly a tad bit too creepy for me.
ADA
Ranpo:
To him, you were probably an interesting human, being the daughter of such an amazing man. He was curious on how you would be, would you be a spoiled brat? Or would you be just as amazing as your father? At first he simply wished to observe you, but the more he learns about you, the more he began to fall. He had basically remembered all the details surrounding you, how you like your tea(which was ironically the same way that Fukuzawa liked it), what your favorite food was, what you don’t like to eat, and etc. At first he thought that it was normal to know the small details such as these. After a long while of denial he finally manages to confess. When the two of you started dating, your father was… well uneasy. Ranpo was uneasy too, but as we all know, if Fukuzawa were to have a favorite, it’d be Ranpo. So after a few awkward dinners, Ranpo had managed to sneak his way into the family.
Kunikida:
He holds a lot of respect and admiration towards your father, so naturally that was also extended to you. When you began to work at the agency Kunikida offered to help you out, you worked with him on many of the cases, that’s probably why he developed feelings for you. Watching you work, learning more and more about you at every new case, seeing you interacting with others, or just simply seeing you had made him craved for the next cases to come quickly so he could spend time with you. Once he realizes that his feelings were more of a romantic one rather than a platonic one. The man went into panic mode. Thoughts saying his feelings and his yearning for you were wrong filled his head. He kept his distance from you, started acting cold to close his heart. Yet somehow you managed to break in. Once you two began dating, Kunikida would pick you up from your house, causing him to meet your father. Everytime the two of you would go on a date or if your relationship was mentioned in front of your father, Kunikida would apologize with a bow. It’s funny to you and Fukuzawa, but just so you know, the poor baby means it. Even after several years or even if you married, he still does it.
Yosano:
The moment she laid her eyes on you she was captivated and curious. You seemed so soft and sheltered, she doubted you would last long. Sure you were Fukuzawa’s daughter, but what exactly can you do? Perhaps those thoughts stemmed from the jealousy she had towards you. She yearned to be loved too afterall. She bet you had a perfect 11 yearold party, a perfect childhood with a loving and amazing father like Fukuzawa. She kept observing you, but unlike Ranpo, she wanted to find faults. Sure there were a few flaws here and there, but she can’t help but notice the striking mindset and personality you had. Sure it wasn’t like Fukuzawa, but darn did that man raise a good daughter. A kindness that extends even to strangers or even enemies. Her obsession with your flaws quickly turned into an obsession with you. Once she realizes her feelings she quickly dealt with it. Once you two started dating it was natural your father was guarded. He knew Yosano and her past, he knew very well of what Mori did to her. But seeing the two of you so happy, he couldn’t help but smile.
Dazai:
This man probably had similar intentions like Ranpo. (ti-fe do be hot— if any of yall want an mbti post PLS tell me) ahem back to topic. He wanted to know more and more about you. Your behavior, your mindset, your moral code or ethics. And like the rest, curiosity killed the cat and by that I mean bam, he fell in love. Which at first he denies it. Him? Love? Really? Him? We all know he’s a mess, and he knows it too. He was probably in denial even longer than Kunikida, acted more cold and dramatic. He would probably have done that forever if you hadn’t dealt with it first. Yes, if you wanted a relationship with this dramatic bitch, you must make the move first. For a serious one at least. After multiple attempts of trying to make him tell you why he was treating you so oddly, he gave in and told you the truth. His past, who he really was, why he wore those bandages, this would probably make you yearn for him less right? After all, who would want a pathetic mess like him? Instead the response he got was a simple thankyou. “Thank you? For what?” He remembers asking. “For trusting me and being this vulnerable.” You laughed softly caressing his soft brown locks. After that you acted like nothing happened, treated him the same way as you had always did and patiently waited for him. Sure it was a long and tiring process. But in the end, you got your hands of the drama-queen and to your father’s surprise Dazai was actually decent. Till now Dazai thinks that if not for Fukuzawa raising such an angel, he would probably be in pain forever. So similar to Kunikida who apologizes everytime, he thanks the man instead.
Port Mafia
Chuuya:
He did not know the girl he dated was Fukuzawa’s daughter. The two of you met at a wine tasting event, hitting it off right away you two started as friends. Chuuya on the other hand had always wanted to be more than that, but that would be selfish of him. Though somehow after one night of drinking everything changed and now he’s at your house jaw dropping when he sees your father. Fukuzawa’s eyes widened as you sat cluelessly at the dinner table. Chatting and eating happily seeing the two of the men you loved the most in the same room. After dinner after you were drunk and dozing off on the couch the two men had a conversation. Not wanting to hurt you, or the other person who you loved they decided it was best to keep you like this, until they were ready to tell you everything. So now Chuuya tells you he works as a loan shark, not the port mafia. He didn’t want to say his job wasn’t something shady, but he also agreed to not tell you who he really worked for until the time was right. Let’s just say the moment the two fessed up, you immediately realized what you had done and that’ll always be the joke and memory the three of you share.
Akutagawa:
You met him on the quietly street alley. Bleeding and slowly dying on the streets on a cold rainy day. You took him to your apartment as you began to nurse him back to health. To you, he was like a stray cat, wary and anxious. To him, you were the stranger that was probably going to ask him for something in return. To his surprise once he was all patched up and healthy you left a note on the breakfast tray next to him, saying he could leave anytime he wanted. Despite being in the same apartment for a while you never asked him anything, not for his name, past, or what had happened to him. Only asking about his conditions and if he was okay. Strangely after he left, he found himself constantly coming back to check in on you. He would secretly drop by during the night to see if you were alright. He wasn’t sure why he was doing it but yet here he was. After multiple nights of pretending not to notice the intense gaze you finally left a note on the window, saying he was welcomed to come in at anytime. You guess that was where your strange relationship began. Now there you were, behind your father’s back as he shields you from Akutagawa. The stray cat you had picked up stared at the man and you in confusion. You stepped in, sitting them both down and slowly defused the situation. It’s a mess, but after a very very long while the two seemed to have accept the reality of the situation. “No wonder you’re weird.” Was his chuckle to you after realizing who your father was.

Bungou Stray Dogs Questionnaire!
Thanks to @nsisbest385 , of course, I'm doing this.
Rules: Complete all the questions you want, expand and explain your answers as much as you want, and have fun!
If you can, tag some people you want to join in on the fun!
----------------------------------------------
What ability would you have in the BSD universe? (What would it be called? What's its purpose? How does it work?)
Little did Dino know that I already have one ready for this question.
The Puzzle Murderer:
The ability to understand and create "perfect" closed room murders; the ability allows the user to see how to make the most viable closed room and the hardest to crack with the available materials they have. Not only can the ability allow the user to see an almost perfect closed room murder, but also to make it the most extravagant, flamboyant murder ever. The less resources, observational skills and creativity the user has, the easier it is to understand the trick. Every murder it comes up with is solvable, if the person pays attention. It can also be used in writing, as long as the local, persons involved and situation is specified enough.
It has to follow this rules:
1- The "reader"/those who are observing the crime being solved by the detective must have equal opportunity with the detective for solving the mystery. All clues must be plainly stated and described.
2- No willful tricks or deceptions may be placed on the "reader" other than those played legitimately by the criminal on the detective himself.
3- The detective himself, or one of the official investigators, should never turn out to be the culprit.
4- The culprit must be determined by logical deductions—not by accident or coincidence or unmotivated confession.
5- The crime must have a detective in it; and a detective is not a detective unless he detects. His function is to gather clues that will eventually lead to the person who did the dirty work in the first chapter; and if the detective does not reach his conclusions through an analysis of those clues, he "isn't allowed" to solve the case. He is physically stopped by the ability, and can't say the answer to the crime.
6- There has to be a corpse.
7- The problem of the crime must be solved by strictly naturalistic means. Such methods for learning the truth as slate-writing, ouija-boards, mind-reading, spiritualistic se'ances, crystal-gazing, and the like, are taboo.
8- There must be only one detective—that is, "one protagonist of deduction", the one who solves the case.
9- The culprit must turn out to be a person who has played a more or less prominent part in the story—that is, a person with whom the "reader" is familiar and in whom he takes an interest.
10- There must be but one culprit, no matter how many murders are committed. The culprit may, of course, have a minor helper or co-plotter; but the entire onus must rest on one pair of shoulders.
11- Secret societies, camorras, mafias, etc., have no place in the crime. A fascinating and truly beautiful murder is irremediably spoiled by any such wholesale culpability.
12- The method of murder, and the means of detecting it, must be rational and scientific. That is to say, pseudo-science and purely imaginative and speculative devices are not to be tolerated in the crime.
13- The truth of the problem must at all times be apparent.
14- It must never turn out to be an accident or a suicide.
15- The motives for all crimes the abilities create should be personal. International plottings and war politics belong in a different category—in secret-service tales, for instance.
----------------------------------------------
If you could claim someone's ability in BSD, whose ability would you want?
Ayatsuji's ability, Another; Tsujimura's ability, Yesterday's Shadow Tag; Ango's ability, Discourse on Decadence or Poe's ability, Black Cat in the Rue Morgue. One of those, alright? I'm terrible with deciding,,,,
----------------------------------------------
What group/organization would you join? (ex. Guild, Port Mafia, Armed Detectives' Agency, Rats, etc.)
Armed Detective Agency or Guild, though I would like to be on the Port Mafia and the Special Abilities Department,,,,, mostly because saving people and helping others is one of the things I want to do the most, but the Guild is also interesting and I want to? I'm sorry, I'm terrible with explaining ;w;
----------------------------------------------
Which BSD character do you identify with the most?
Tsujimura, personality-wise. Insecure, determined girl who gets angry easily and wants to keep everyone alive? That's basically me! And also, Kunikida, Ango and Ayatsuji—not as much as Mizuki, but I do identify with them a lot.
----------------------------------------------
Who are your top five favourite BSD characters?
1- Tsujimura and Ayatsuji, in the same level
2- Ango and Ranpo, in the same level
3- Twain
4- Kunikida
5- Oguri
----------------------------------------------
Are there any authors that you'd want to bring into the BSD universe that hasn't arrived yet? Or do you have OCs?
...I have too many OCs. I'll list them.
The Society: Arthur Conan Doyle, Dorothy L. Sayers, S. S. Van Dine, Ryukishi07, Tsugumi Ohba, Leslie Charteris, Frederic Dannay, Manfred Bennington Lee, Gosho Aoyama, Carolyn Wells, E. W. Hornung, Maurice Leblanc and Erle Stanley Gardner.
The Letter: Gonçalves de Magalhães, José de Alencar, Álvares de Azevedo, Aluísio Azevedo, Machado de Assis (now a female), Olavo Bilac, Monteiro Lobato, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Vinicius de Moraes.
Port Mafia: Georges Simenon, Fumiko Enchi, Inabune Tazawa, Seichou Matsumoto, Elizabeth Delafontaine.
Armed Detective Agency: Rachel Delafontaine (based on one of Ranpo's books).
The Order of the Clock Tower: Lewis Carroll, Mary Shelley, Charles Dickens.
No organization: Eleanor Delafontaine, Lawrence Delafontaine, Edward Delafontaine, Charlotte, Edgar (all based on books, not writers).

Favourite Scene(s)?
Ranpo and Poe talking about their first encounter. That and Ayatsuji exposing the first criminal in Gaiden, when Tsujimura entered the chapel and kicked the guy. That was great.

Favourite Quotes from the Authors/Characters?
"Mystery fiction is, at its core, a kind of intellectual game. An exciting game of reasoning in the form of a novel. A game between the reader and the great detective, or the reader and the author. Nothing more or less than that."
— Ayatsuji Yukito.

Who would you want to bring to life to be your best friend? Waifu/Husbando?
Tsujimura. No questions, just Tsujimura.

So you watched the movie, i'm happy for you ( currently living in a country where there is no way in hell we will get it in our theaters 😭😭😭) for 1 to 10 how good was the movie and the experience in general. And did the spoils take from it. Thank you so much for your blog
Oh my gosh. This ask made me feel so emotional more than you intended, anon. *takes a deep breath* I don’t think I can ever express enough how much BSD means to me. I set it apart from other series because BSD is not just an anime/manga to me. It has been very important to my mental and emotional health. I am one of the people that this work has saved. And so I have dedicated myself to supporting Dead Apple as payback to the team who created this world and touched my life. (Srsly I’d cry if I happen to meet Asagiri)
So here’s a confession…hehe… I’ve been watching Dead Apple every week since February 24 (the day of the advanced screening). So if you ask me now how was the experience? Hmm.. I think I would just talk about the first time I watched it. It made me feel a lot of things: (SPOILERS AHEAD)
Confused. Being one of the first people to watch it, I watched it without any idea how it’d go, in full Japanese language (note that BSD level is beyond my Japanese skills). So the first time, I didn’t clearly grasp everything that happened. I had a lot of questions. Thanks to my friend who had better Jap skills than me who clarified some things for me. Though all in all, she was also confused the first time. 😂 Actually, I had to watch the movie thrice before I made this spoiler post about the plot summary.
Tired. The first scene already made my heart stop beating when they chose Odasaku to be the first character to appear on the big screen. Also, I didn’t expect that BSD would be as action-packed as it turned out to be. Actually, my favorite anime genre is action so I definitely enjoyed that BSD did this. I really liked the idea of the characters facing and beating their own Abilities. Chuuya’s fight scene vs the dragon undeniably got me breathless. And gosh, the Soukoku scene gave me a brain freeze. What I was seeing on the screen was already too much for my brain to process. So I didn’t understand their lines and the scene of Fyodor that followed. Anyway, the entrance of Reason Living in the fight against Shibusawa definitely gave me goosebumps.
Frustrated. I looooved the movie so much. I want to scream to the world how good it was. However, at that time the world hasn’t seen it yet! The BSD fandom that I know cannot watch it, and so they wouldn’t understand my incoherent screams about it! Also, I had to wait for one week before I was allowed to post spoilers! I was drowning in feels all alone! And even after posting the spoilers, they can’t visualize what I’m saying!
But more than anything else, I felt happy, proud, and grateful. And that is still how I feel up to now. I want to hug every single one of the staff who help created this masterpiece. I am more than satisfied with how the movie came out.
- Odasaku was there.
- Atsushi bby is growing up. (at his own pace, he’s trying!)
- Kyouka came to terms with her Ability. (i really liked the scene when Demon Snow gave the cellphone to her)
- Chuuya didn’t only get ample screentime; he was a hero.
- Soukoku saved each other.
- Fukuzawa and Mori fought back-to-back together.
- Dazai is doing better on the side that saves people.
It’s not perfect, I know; I can point out some things that are off, but I just excused them as “Oh well, that’s anime for you. That wouldn’t work in the real world, but that’s not important.”
I am overly inclined to like the movie, because of my personal feelings for BSD. But even if not for that, I would claim that it is undoubtedly good and enjoyable; because if not then I wouldn’t have borne watching it every week, no matter how much I want to support BSD. So rating? 9/10? 11/10? In the end, I can’t decide.
Sorry, this reply got too longer than it should be! Thanks for asking! Let’s cross our fingers for the DVD to come out SOOOON so the world can finally see it.
