Could I request btas Scarecrow, Hatter, and Joker (or any variants if you want to switch things up) accidentally hitting their s/o? Not in the abusive sense but like their s/o was just standing really close while they were flailing their arms in a rant or something. The hit wasn’t bad, maybe just a bruise or something minor like that. I assume these boys would blow it out of proportion though.

He came closer,standing next to you.

After calming him down and getting him to stop kissing the spot that he hit, he still looked lil guilty.

He probably threw his cup while talking to himself, not knowing you just come in to check on him. He then heard an "ow" and when he looked there, it was you there backing away.

His heart sank. He didn't know! He didn't wanted to hurt you!

He quickly made his way to you. "Oh dear, im so sorry. I didn't know you were there"

He kept on apologizing.

You cupped his face in ur hands telling him its ok.

Maybe it left a little brush which made him feel very guilty. He'll bring some ice for it.

Scarecrow

He was probably talking to himself too. Maybe about something not working out.

You heard him and wanted to see if hes okay. So you came into his labor.

You go behind him, which he doesn't notice being too angry still talking to himself.

You speak up. He quickly looks behind slapping you. "WHAT?!"

But then he notices its you. He feels so bad.

He puts his hands up, he has a worried expression. "Oh y/n I-i didn't know- im so sorry"

Hes not sure what to do, and he doesn't wanto make you uncomfortable.

You tell him its all good and that you shouldn't have sneaked up behind him.

Your apology just makes him feel more guilty. Other people would have snapped on him by now, but you actually heared him out.

After he’s started his career as a criminal, he really didn’t have to go to work-work. I mean he has a different sort of job, he doesn’t really have to deal with co-workers or a boss. I mean there are the other rogues, but he doesn’t talk to them unless he gets along with them.

When you go to work he’s never the happiest, your STUPID job interrupted your morning snuggle time. Sometimes he tries to get you to quit, stay home with him ALL DAY. But at the same time he knew that if he went to Arkham, you then wouldn’t be able to support yourself all alone. You also enjoyed the independence of providing for yourself, and he understands that. He would still rather you be home all day with him.

He loves to hear about your day, your work day, what you did with your friends, how shopping went. He ALSO wants to know how your relationships with your friends and co-workers are, to know how happy you are throughout your day, and making sure no one gets to close to you, he’s a very jealous and protective man.

Today was a perfect example of that, you had come home from work, exhausted and just wanting to relax with your boyfriend. You sat at the dining table, babbling on to him, about how work went, about how the walk home was miserable, how you just wanted to go to bed and sleep.

“I understand my dearest, it must be difficult surrendering your beautiful mind to such misery almost everyday,” he spoke to you like you were forced to execute people on a daily basis, like your life was being ruined by your job. “It breaks my heart to know you go through such pains! Oh how you don’t deserve this..”

“Jervis it’s fine, I mean most people have to, I guess it’s just part of life,” you sighed, taking a moment to just think and go over your day, before visibly lightening up as you popped up.

“Ah your so excited!” Jervis giggled, grabbing your hand as you began fiddling with it. “What’s got you so, joyful?” He asked, cocking his head to the side, he gave you one of his signature, wide toothy grind as he awaited your response.

“I almost forgot to mention something!” You jokingly knocked on your head, “Sorry I’m just all mixed-up today,”

“Yes- yes I understand, but you’ve got me all giddy! Tell me, tell me quick! I want to hear all about it!” He cupped his face in his hands, resting his elbows in the table, positioning his head where his ear was facing slightly towards you, showing you his intent listening as you began to speak.

“So today guess who I saw at the store while I was out purchasing ingredients for dinner tonight?” You asked. He scrunched his eyebrows, scratching his chin and tapping his cheek as he pretended to think real hard. Before delivering a over exaggerated shoulder shrug.

“I saw F/N! It was honestly a highlight of my day, I haven’t seen them in so long!” You began to babble on about what you two talked about and how fun it was to catch up with an old friend, but what you didn’t notice was how Jervis’s shoulders visibly tensed and his smile tightened as you mentioned your dearest friend. Never had Jervis been very fond of them, they were always to close to you.

They were always complimenting you and touching you. Of course there’s nothing wrong with others complimenting you, he loved it when other recognized your beauty, and loved to flaunt the fact that you two were dating. But they way they did it rubbed him the wrong way. Complimenting your body instead of you as a person.

Saying how wonderful your legs looked in a pair of pants, or how well that outfit hugged your body, especially your hips. Instead of telling you how kind you were, or thanking you for giving them a particularly thoughtful present.

What was the worst for him was they way they acted around him, constantly trying to push him out and demean him in front of you, like they were making him seem inferior to them. Of course you never noticed, your friend just wanted your attention! That’s all! Jervis knew you just wanted to see the best in your friend, ignoring the bad and highlighting the good.

He wished the two of you never spoke again, or for you to realize your friends alter motives, how they just wanted you for your body, how they didn’t want to be your friend. He would never share these thoughts and feelings with you. He would never tell you he wanted to end the life of that piece of shit-

“Jervis?”

Your voice brought him back to, he blinked back into reality. Scrunched up eyebrows and worry dripping from your voice, he felt bad, making you worry for him like that.

“Are you alright?” Softly, you asked him. He just nodded in reply, steam practically blowing from his ears, you giggled as his face reddened with anger. You cupped his cheek, bringing him to face you.

“Your not, jealous of the attention I’m giving them, are you?” Your cheeky tone of voice mixed with your hand caressing his cheek made it impossible for him to lie, he just looked away.

“Awww baby~!!” You jumped up, bringing him into a kiss as you leaned him back in his chair, he was not only red from anger, he was incredibly flustered.

“You don’t have to jealous of them, I promise. You are the only one I love,” you gently cooed as you climbed into his lap, he didn’t complain as he tightly embraced you. You brushed his hair out of his face, showing his blue eyes hastily avoiding yours.

“Prove it,” for a man who looked as flustered as he did right now he definitely was confident. Your face went bright red at his challenge, before your shook expression spread into a cheeky grin.

First off, this man is a lover not a fighter (metaphorically speaking) *cough cough*

When you guys first got together all was going perfect.

He would always be a gentleman when it came to big or small things. For example, holding open doors, always pulling out a chair for you when on dates, etc.

But soon that changed after recent event, Jervis was caught by batman in the middle of you two having a tea party in some factory he had claimed as wonderland. Thankfully you were just put off as a victim for some kind, and was informed you were to be kept an eye on from time to time,

Sadly, you weren't allowed to visit him because Batman seen it as too risky considering your relationship (ex. trying to help him escape).

If you think Jervis couldn't become more insane, you're wrong.

He missed you dearly and ignored all other inmates.

Not soon after he broke out, he immediately rushed to one of the many secret apartments he has kept incase this ever happened and you needed a place to stay, until he breaks out OfCourse.

As he was rushing to the apartment, he spotted you just outside.

He couldn't keep the smile off his face, until he saw you were not alone.

The person you were talking with kept inching closer with each passing second, making his blood boil.

He strutted up to the man, and then tapped them on the shoulder.

"Excuse me, but is there a reason you are trying to 'make a move' on my s/o?"

"Erm..first of all I'm not making a move on anyone. Second, they're my sibling."

To say Jervis was embarrassed would be an understatement, cause at that moment he wanted to be sent right back to Arkham or reverse time.

After that incident, Jervis would still act all Mother Hen no matter who it was, all the better reason for you to tease him.

Still, you found it sweet and annoying at times but in the end, you still loved him to bits...even though he acts broody as well.

Scarecrow, Two Face, Penguin, Mad Hatter, and Mr. Freeze with a Partner who Sleeps With A Plush of Them

Inspired by the Scarecrow and Two Face plushies I sewed.

Scarecrow

You had spent days hand-sewing this plush doll of Jonathan Crane, and though it wasn't perfect, you had put a lot of love into it.

The doll appeared to stare up at you with its button eyes while you held its floppy, huggable body and stroked its soft hair. It was like an exact copy of Jonathan, just smaller. And probably less likely to commit crimes.

Jonathan would be incredibly surprised to see the plush- lots of times when people made artistic interpretations of him they were meant to be terrifying. He had never seen a version of himself this...cuddly. He doesn't mind it, though. In fact, he's quite flattered.

When you tell him about how you cuddle the plush at night he practically melts.

Two Face

You made most of the plush Two Face with soft minky fabric, but decided to add something extra- faux fur on the white side of his hair and dot textured minky for his scars. He was perfect.

The first time you showed it to Harvey, he was speechless. His fingers ran across the soft fabrics you had used to capture him so lovingly, and you might have even seen a tear roll down the unscarred side of his face. Two Face is the one to break the silence, saying "you really want to cuddle me that much?"

When you admit to them you cuddle the plush at night to feel close to them, they immediately wrap you in a massive hug. You hug them back of course, making sure to kiss their scars.

Penguin

Oswald had always been insecure about his appearance, and no matter how much you tried to encourage and support him with words, hugs, everything...it always seemed as if his trauma would make him feel unworthy of you. So you got an idea. You would show him exactly how you saw him, in the form of a cuddly plushie.

You had to modify your pattern quite a bit to make it accurate, but it was worth it. The plush Penguin sat before you with its arms outstretched, just waiting to be held.

You paid extra attention to translating the parts of himself Oswald was insecure about into the plush- intricately sewn hands, a prominent beak-like nose, his cuddly, plump body, and of course his long, soft hair.

You're a bit nervous to show the plush to him as you're not sure how he'll react, so you start kind of awkwardly.

"Uh...I...I really wanted to show you how wonderful you are in my eyes and I...I adore every single part of you, so I made this..."

Oswald doesn't know what to think at first, but he's incredibly touched. He still tries to play it cool, of course.

"I mean, you could always have a life-sized version of me if you want."

Catch him off guard by kissing his nose and wrapping him in a hug.

Mad Hatter

Okay, uh.. You didn't sew this one. You just kinda found a Disney Mad Hatter plushie on Ebay or something and thought it reminded you of Jervis.

(Fun fact, I actually do have this plush and he's very soft!)

Even if you didn't sew it, Jervis freaking loves it. You want to cuddle? With him??? So badly that you got a plushie to hold when he wasn't there to comfort you????

Mr. Freeze

This man is very insecure about how he's unable to cuddle you due to his physical state, so you get an idea.

The plush was honestly kind of hard to make, with all the intricate details of his suit, but it was absolutely worth it. You even added a voice box inside so you could hear his sweet German accent whenever you wanted.

Also you added a small tuft of fluffy fabric for his hair, (ik BTAS doesn't have that but HQTAS does and I freaking love it so it's going here!)

He absolutely cries when you show it to him.

You wrap your arms around him when he does, it stings a bit but it's worth it to see him smile.

For Christmas that year you make him a Nora plushie, with magnets in her hands so she can hold hands with your Mr. Freeze plush.

You better believe he cuddles his Nora plush every day. It's not even close to having his wife back of course, but it does relieve some of the pain to get to hold her again.

Jervis Tetch x Reader First Meeting headcanons

🎩 although it pains him to admit it, the years of unrequited love have taken their toll on Jervis. his Alice is long gone—departed from Gotham with her now-husband (filthy brute), with a new name and her hair dyed a mousey brown. as far as he can tell, she's dropped off the map entirely, and it's been nearly a year since he last caught any trace of her. months in yet another cold, lonely stint at Arkham leave his soul more empty than ever before...and he decides, one lovelorn night, that such suffering should not befall a gentleman. although the thought sickens him, Jervis resolves that when he gets out, he is going to make a fresh start...even just for a while.

🎩 when finally he next escapes (his technology being instrumental in a jailbreak largely orchestrated by the other rogues, of course—no need for him to do their dirty work), Jervis makes good on his promise and leaves Gotham for a few cities over. he travels in civilian clothes and fights the urge to wear any sort of hat, fearing that even a simple cap could betray his identity. yet the experiment is a success. within days he has sequestered himself in an unassuming little apartment, and even ventured out to speak with a neighbour or two, none of whom recognise him as The Mad Hatter. it's a queer feeling, not seeing fear reflected in the eyes of those around him...and it gives him a quiet thrill which makes him forget himself, leaving Jervis grinning far too wide.

🎩 still, Jervis is a man with certain compulsions. he's partial to an afternoon walk, and at 3 o'clock exactly makes his way out into his new city, looking for nothing in particular and simply enjoying air without walls. however, he soon comes across a quaint little teashop, its sign scrawled in a delightful Shakespearean font and the windows ringed with English ivy. "How serendipitous," Jervis murmurs to himself. "I shan't pass up an opportunity such as this...after all, you'd only have to whisper a hint to Time, and round goes the clock in a twinkling!"

🎩 Jervis orders his usual beverage without incident and takes a seat which gives him an excellent view of the whole teashop. his discerning blue eyes scan the room, but it isn't until he's cleared half the customers that he realises he was searching for a glimpse of Alice's golden hair. Jervis sighs, and takes a long, sad sip of his tea—only to splutter when he spots You in the corner of the room. You are tucked up with your legs crossed, your nose buried in a book. there's a little half-smile on your face, and Jervis watches with interest as you chuckle at something you read. he stares at You and the book, and an icy chill of recognition works its way down his spine.

🎩 before he can stop himself, Jervis abandons his tea and makes his way over to You. for a full minute he looms over You quite unnoticed, so absorbed You are by your book. after quietly clearing his throat does not catch your attention, Jervis opts to take the direct approach. 🍬Trick or treat! You're not walking alone.👁

The streets are dark, hollow, and empty. As one would expect at such an hour. However in a city like Gotham a sight like that was almost unerving when you're accustomed to crooks shuffling about. Or in this case, children running down the streets in cheap costumes, celebrating Halloween. Now all that were left were candy wrappers blowing in the wind, swaying decorations, and the occasional street light. It felt wrong. The longer you looked at the empty streets the quicker you wanted to get home.

Quick and steady. Quick and steady. Your footsteps echo out.. the thought flashes in your mind. That couldn't be right could it? There would be no reason for there to be an echo. Sure the streets were empty- but not that empty. Had you scared yourself so much you were hearing things? You look over your shoulder, the street greets you with emptiness at it did before. Maybe you were just going mad?

You stepped once. There was the sound of two. When you stopped the sound stopped. Every time you looked behind you it resulted in nothing. You could swear you were seeing someone in the corner of your eye. At this point you were were speedwalking, close to running. Just a bit farther then you'd be home!

But..with a sudden skid you start to stumble over your own feet, a wave of dizziness slamming into you like a brick wall, your head starts to feel fuzzy. You try to wrack you brain for answers in a panic. How long had you been walking? Did you eat or drink anything weird? You didn't recall so. It flashes into your mind. The man from earlier.

There was a man, a man you would of thought peculiar if not for the night. You figured his strange outfit and behaviors were just part of his costume. He was dressed like the mad hatter after all. He had offered you a piece candy, no, looking back, he insisted you take it. Claiming it was leftovers from the candy he had been handing out. It seemed harmless at the time!

You’ve piqued his curiosity.

But he is also skeptical of you.

Depending on what kind of fan mail you send him, he always reads over it a few times to make sure he’s seeing things right. Is this kid serious? Is his initial thought. After getting more fan mail, he quickly realizes you are in fact serious.

As soon as he gets over the whole skeptical stage, it’s all downhill from there.

If he can, he’ll write back to you.  Asking pretty vague questions. If you tell him you’re his biggest fan, he’ll most likely call your bluff and send you a riddle. If you answer correctly, he’ll send more that are harder. 

If you’re able to prove to him just how much of a fan you are, don’t think he won’t forget about you once he breaks out. When he does find out where you live, his first thought when seeing you is basically:

You’re his kid now. Well, depending on your relationship at home. If you aren’t happy with the people you’re with now, he’ll take you with him as a young prodigy. Even then, if you’re happy with your folks or whoever it is you’re staying with, he’ll still let you work for him if it’s what you want. I mean, who wouldn’t?

"Darling, I assure you I'm all right!" Jervis assured, he placed a hand on your shoulder to slow your movements. 

Jervis has managed to get back to you after an encounter with Batman. He had a black eye and a bleeding gash across his right arm. 

As soon as he sat on the couch you instantly scurried for your first aid kit. 

You were snatching gauze, wraps, and bandaids when Jervis tried to calm you down. 

“B-But you’re hurt!” You argued, as you gestured to his arm that had bled through his green dress shirt sleeve. 

“I know, but it’s okay, I’m here and safe with you.” He cupped the hand that was on your shoulder to your cheek. 

You sighed feeling the adrenaline slowly fade away. When your breath evened out, you began collecting the proper materials to tend to his wounded arm. 

As you finished wrapping up his arm in gauze, you didn’t fail to notice Jervis warmly and lovingly staring at you. 

Once the final strip of gauze was on, you lifted his arm and kissed the middle of the bandage. 

“All right…Now onto-oh…” You looked up at him and took full notice of his swollen and bruised eye.

Jervis’ unafflicted eye darted away from yours shamefully. 

You gave him a reassuring smile before leaning in and gently kissing the tip of his nose. 

The redness from his face soon reddened even more, but this time it wasn’t from the pain. 

You got up and grabbed an ice pack and softly pressed it to his eye. Jervis lifted his hand and concealed your hand with his before squeezing it gratefully. 

"Thank you, my beloved." 

"Don't mention it." You whispered softly, worried if you spoke too loud it may ruin the tender moment. 

You slowly, albeit reluctantly, slid your hand out from under his. Only to bring it back up to cup his cheek as your other hand came up to cup his other cheek. 

You brought his face closer to yours as you brought his lips to meet yours in a sweet warm kiss. 

A kiss full of love and gratitude. Grateful that he made it, he was there, and you were there to heal him. 

You pulled back when the need for air became too great. You still smiled adoringly at him. 

You began fixing his hair slightly so it would stay out of his face as he adjusted the ice pack back on his eye. 

"Is there anything else you need, Jervy?" 

Jervis hummed in a moment of pondering. Before a cheeky grin grew on his face. 

"Perhaps…one more thing…" 

You listened intently. 

"May I ask for one more kiss? I think I'm starting to feel better already." 

You giggled softly before reaching out to hold his face again. "I thought you would never ask."

He totally lends you his clothes and even makes you some fancy new ones

He reminds you to take off your binder at the maximum hour on the dot and not a second later

He's a bit squeamish in terms of needles, so don't ask him to inject you. He will hold your hand while either you get injected or get a blood test though, but he'll cover his eyes the whole time

If anyone discriminates against you in any way, their body will never be found unless you specifically tell Jervis not to do that

He's a nervous wreck when it comes to your surgery, he's probably more nervous than even you are. He's so worried for your safety and desperately hoping everything lives up to your expectations. He can and will kill the doctors if they fuck this up, if they don't, he'll reward them with sweets he baked himself

He makes damn sure your healing process goes well and forbids you from doing anything that might delay your healing like smoking or vaping

dude i got one answer for both and it's ALL RHYMING ALL THE TIME. you engage in these silly rhyming conversations that no one else can stand or decipher and it's like having your own language. and it's so so great for jervis because not only do you accept the rhyming thing and dont think it's annoying but you also PARTICIPATE which is a whole new level of !!!!! that he didn't know he could feel. it sends him WAYYY further in love with you if that's even possible. you understand him! and isnt that what all of these guys really want at the end of the day
