The Life of a Jikooker, Online and Offline
Sometime last year I revealed my real first name on Twitter. Though I am known more prominently as “Wingzie”, a name given to me by a good friend of mine, I wanted to add a bit more of a human touch to my account. It was a reminder that, even if I spend a rather large amount of time making posts, I also have a life away from the screen. There's been a few occasions when my army life and personal life have become interlinked.
I am lucky enough to have made wonderful friends since becoming Army. Thus, I will always say that your fandom experience and enjoyment will depend on who you interact with and what you engage with. It's because of these friends that I have been to South Korea or gone to Olle in London for BTS’ tenth anniversary. I've explored new local places or exchanged gifts. It's also because of these friends that I felt safe enough to talk about Jikook in my first ever group chat in 2019. I feel a certain love and connection between us, online and offline, that I don't think many others will understand.
However, there is a certain loneliness in being a jikooker. I have been unfairly judged or dismissed just for talking about them. Either individually or as a unit. It calls into question why this is. I personally do not see myself as a shipper. The definition of a shipper is that you WANT them to be together and that is not the case with me or many other jikookers at all. The definition of shipping has changed so much that we are seen as bad people just for talking about them, when we are just talking about their moments together.
In the last few months or so I have experienced more of an Army life outside of Twitter. I have been to various offline events and spoken to so many and I couldn’t help but notice two things: 1) Jikookers have a terrible reputation
2) People are scared to talk about them as a unit compared to others. The first part can be somewhat understandable and it’s why I never bother fighting. It brings negative attention to them, when we should be boosting them instead. All they see are people just attacking each other and it is sadly true that a small number of Jikookers are Tae antis. I have left a few group chats because of that or because of ex-jikookers hating on Jimin or Jungkook. However, there are also a huge number of us that DON'T behave this way and it depends on what you focus on.
At a previous event I bumped into a local Tae bias. She clearly knew who I was and was under the impression that I hated Tae. I soon proved her wrong but I guess this is where some of the problems lie: There are a lot of focus on stereotypes, without giving us the chance to prove otherwise. I have also been to events where Army have cited misinformation and they needed to be corrected. I am aware that not everyone has my memory, but they were so callous about their comments that I was shocked. There was a huge disconnect between reality and what they were thinking and it is so important to check sources. Especially when BTS' history and ours is so rich and can be easily accessible in this social media age.
Being scared to talk about Jikook is something that will always confuse me. I joined a BTS Discord and left shortly afterwards when I realized that they had a channel for every until apart from Jikook. I also went to an event shortly after the “You can handle it” Weverse Live and the group I was with mentioned every single part of that Live, apart from when Jimin was in the comments. They also said some things about Jungkook that made me feel really uncomfortable and they ignored what I was trying to say. They saw him as a puppet, for their own desires, rather than his own person. And I think that is also something I have seen on the increase lately. It should be allowed and in fact encouraged to talk about them as a unit without being shamed for mentioning them together. Ignoring them doesn't help either.
I am Jimin and Jungkook biased, but the definition of having a bias itself has also changed. You cannot say you have a bias now without automatically saying “but I love all of them”, when that should go without saying. I have seen this change since Mots:7 and it emphasises how much the fandom definitions have changed and how it has also shaped our communities. I have been to other events where I am sadly seen as an anti, once they find out my Twitter ID. My account includes all members, I just happen to post about Jikook and their moments most of all and there is nothing wrong with that. Ultimately, I wrote this without any clear message or goal in sight. I just wanted to express what I have experienced and my feelings about it. I will always cherish the memories I have with those that are closest to me and our beautiful conversations about BTS or Jikook. I just wish others did the same and understood what this community is actually about, online and offiline. My account will always be a safe place for all the members and I refuse to be villainized for talking about Jikook at the same time.  Much Love Wingzie/Becca

Hello everyone It's been a while Are you doing well? I'm just living my life day-by-day, just getting by fine. I'm always making an effort to live in the present.
These days I have been confirming and discovering who I am as a person. I feel all the things I want to say endlessly bubble up inside me, only to then forget them the next moment. This moment, where we're approaching the completion of ten years since we came out into the world. How does it feel for you? Are you doing okay?
Occasionally, no actually, quite often, I wonder about you. How you're doing, what you're thinking, your sadness, hope and despair, what you believe in right now, what you want to believe in, what you're chasing. Whether you're really feeling the seasons. As I've said many times before, the more time passes, the harder it becomes to open my mouth. I just don't know, that's all. I believe that as we get older, we learn silence.
A lot of things are sad but also happy at the same time. Happy but also, at the same time, just sad. I look at old videos, at the things I said in the past, and feel unfamiliar with myself. There are things that I can't remember for the life of me, that have become dull, and that makes me feel sad, empty now. It feels weird. I feel confident but I also don't, it just goes on. It seems like I just want to stay this way.
Honestly, thinking about what it will be like when we get back makes me both curious and afraid. Time moves so fast and everything changes. Including me. I don't think I want to just recklessly demand all the love there is, or keep clinging to it forever anymore. Instead of wandering in search of love, if I could exist with love, if I could cultivate myself through hard work, I would like to believe that love will naturally come looking for me. It will soon be our tenth anniversary. As the layers of dust of both time and emotion accumulate, things just get harder and harder. That feels quite sad to me. If you think about it, it could just be the weight of one heart with another. Maybe that's what it is. It just shows that that's how big the piece we've shared between us is, right? I will keep living, doing well, living simply everyday, with gratitude, thinking about what formed a part of me, as I always have. Will have been pp*
You guys also probably have a lot of hard times and feel a lot of pain. But please be well! Occasionally, often, I will keep wondering about you. I think that my posts and letters are a way for me to convey my love to you in those moments. This is what I'm like right now. Be careful not to get wet in the rain! And not to catch a cold!
When you're just about to forget, I'll come right to you again Stay healthy!

DIPE's by Dispatch target
A short post inspired by this anon's question to @jeons-catalyst
Dispatch launched DIPE (www.dipe.co.kr.) on March 3rd 2022 in honor of the company’s tenth anniversary. A new global page which was "catered towards international fans who share the same excitement and passion for Kpop.
“Dipe” will cover news and updates on a variety of groups such as BTS, Enhypen, NCT, Nu’est, Seventeen, Stray Kids, TXT, Twice, and more."
Oh.. interesting... so let's see what's the target of DIPE according to its creators:
"First the articles are all written in English for "the comfort of international fans".
“Dipe” will bring you the latest scoop on the idols you love, including behind-the-scenes footages and cuts from sets, interviews, videos, and fashion information"
Well… I think it's clear that Dipe is going to publish lil pills of what the international, and not exclusively Korean people, are asking for.
That says it all, and is one of the reasons of this article's headlines and pics:
By the way, an article indeed about Jin's completion military service, because it doesn't really tell anything about Jungkook and Tae's clumsy hug (they got a bit messed up).
I encourage you to go in and read it… it's even funny… the pics and headlines that have nothing to do with the content of the article… …..
I call it CLOUT CHEASING
So... going to the questions raised by the anon:
"So why doesn’t dispatch use jikook for clickbaits, too?
They did it too.
Aren’t they popular as a duo, too?
Yes, they are. As you can see… the rest of the relevant media has always mentioned them (systematically) in a cute way, and putting them in duo (their names separated with a "-") Why do you think they were called sea otters?
Tumblr media
But maybe DIPE knows jikook it's not the most demanding duo of BTS
Or there’s just nothing there to begin with?"
Dispatch -and the other media - couldn't out any non-het couple, be it jikook or taekook…and Dipe would never risk suggesting anything publicly, let alone something about their sexuality that would harm one of the Hybe's artist (who on the contrarly seems to get on very well with his Korean parent company Dispatch).
Tumblr media
So, you have to take this with a certain superficiality… they write about them - it doesn't really matter what, whether it's something totally over the top, or something really cute - to get more engagement, and therefore more brands to want to advertise on the site (and more income).
Btw…one last note…As DIPE must have the best interests of all their readers at heart…. they also posted this in December…. (in case any of you have missed it!)

K-pop Discography Deep Dives: BTS (Part ONE)
Tumblr media
A Disclaimer: I was planning, when I first started Tumblr, to be a lurker, but then I began an office job and needed something to listen to to keep myself occupied. And then, I started going through entire K-pop groups’ repertoires, album by album, and jotting down my thoughts. And then, I stumbled into K-pop tumblr and decided, you know what, there’s at least four people on this hell site who would read in depth rants about these discographies and at least five who wouldn’t read it and then get mad because it’s kind of our job as K-pop fans. My lukewarm takes should be taken with an entire silo of salt and the knowledge that this is completely for fun and occupying my very bored, very neurodivergent brain. All this to say, for the love of god, I’m a sleep-deprived student and I don’t have time for internet hate, so don’t kill me. With that being said, enjoy!
So, my credentials: I’ve got nothing this time, folks. I’m not an Army; I’m too casual to even be a casual fan. I like most of what I’ve heard, based on friend recommendations, but I have no idea how representative of their work the songs I’ve heard are. I know the group members’ names, but barely anything about them, although I’m always open to learning more. The reason I wanted to do this deep dive is because I’ve been a k-pop fan for almost five years now and I’ve heard every opinion between “BTS is the second coming of Christ” and “BTS is responsible for the collapse of society,” and I want to make up my own mind, free of influence.
Since BTS has over 200 songs, I’m also doing short supplementals each week, both to give myself and you guys a break and to look at groups / soloists with discographies too short to need a full week (because this is gonna be a dissertation and I’ll have to separate it into two parts). So, grab your lightstick, get some ice cream, steal a fluffy dog, and settle in folks. Let’s do this.
BTS, as you probably know, is short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, or Bulletproof Boy Scouts, and debuted in 2013 (they just had their tenth debut anniversary) and they have seven members: Jimin, Namjoon (RM), Taehyung (V), Jin, Yoongi (SUGA), Jungkook, and Hoseok (J-hope).
Tumblr media
First things first, I love a good intro, and the loudspeaker is funny; 2 cool 4 skool is not what I was expecting. I’m not the biggest fan of “I’m too cool for you” hip-hop personally, but I can respect We Are Bulletproof (p.2) for the fact that the message doesn’t feel empty. I believe what they’re selling, even if I don’t want to buy it. To be honest, I’m a singer, and I listen to artists to hear their singing voices, because I know that they can sing beautifully.
On the album I’m much more a fan of Like, although I prefer the slow mix from their later work. The rest of the first album gave me a bit of whiplash to be honest, but I can appreciate how unique it is, both in k-pop and music as a whole. The skits are very odd, but they did make me feel like I know more about the members than I would about an average k-pop group from their album; I can see why so many people became fans early on.
On O! R U L8 2?, N.O. immediately caught my attention with the interesting instrumental and the sing-talk and singing combo. I did enjoy it more than We Are Bulletproof, because of the melody, but I liked it, didn’t love it. (I could’ve done without the growling). Most of the b-sides aren’t for me, but I do want to talk about Coffee and Paldongangsan.
I did like Coffee (especially the harmonizing on the Baby~~ part of the chorus) but I really didn’t like the rap verses. I don’t have anything against them being there in theory; raps can be done in a quiet, calm way (like in “Child” by Mark from NCT), but it’s not happening here and they feel very out of place. It’s all well and good to rap excellently, but you need to have some variety or else everything threatens to feel the same.
Tumblr media
But, my hidden gem from this album is definitely Paldongangsan. Look, one of my majors is linguistics, so it’s no surprise I went wild at this song. It’s about the different dialects of Korean (which originate from different places there) and the stereotypes associated with each one, and it ends with Namjoon yelling at the rest of them to stop ragging on each other for their dialects and be accepting because it’s all the same language anyway. It was actually the first BTS song I heard, about two years ago (barring Dynamite, of course), because an Army friend of mine recommended it to me. I’ve never heard a song like it before (or since for that matter) and it’s remained on my Top 25 K-pop songs playlist ever since.
Anyway, digression over, and onto the next album, Skool Luv Affair. Boy In Luv is definitely a turning point in their discography, with its drive and rock elements. I wish it was more melodic, as I always do, but it grew on me after a couple more listens and it's my favorite of the title tracks so far. Hidden gems for this album are Just One Day and especially Outro: Propose (which I wish wasn’t so short, because I thought it was pretty good.)
With Dark & Wild we turn another corner. Danger intrigued me from the first part’s guitar riff and interesting instrumental. Although I was a bit wary, the set-up of the pre-chorus, pay-off of the chorus, and earworm of the post-chorus reassured me. It’s the first single from this deep dive that I’ve liked on 1st listen. (The “don’t get me confused” is stuck in my head now.)
War Of Hormone arrives with a record scratch and a bombast of horns. And arrives is the right word: it makes its presence known. I really enjoyed this one, and I even replayed it a few times. At its best moments, it mixes very different parts together without feeling like whiplash and becomes anthemic. I especially love the contrast between Namjoon’s scratchier, lower voice and Jungkook’s higher notes, and of course, harmonizing, my one true love. It’s a bit of a dumb song but they don’t take it too seriously and I appreciate that they aren’t afraid to laugh.
Tumblr media
This album was also a turning point for me when it came to my enjoyment of their work; I didn’t really dislike any song on it and the better balance of rapping, sing-talk, and singing made me less reactionary towards the raps that were there. There’s more variety in the raps themselves too: sometimes they’re upbeat, sometimes they’re pensive, sometimes they’re angry, but they don’t all sound like they’re trying to kill me through my earbuds. Improvement! Also, showing some vulnerability helps balance the more boastful songs that are there, so I disliked those less too.
Yes, I’m fully aware that their rapping is technically very good, I just don’t always enjoy it. I appreciate songs like Hip Hop Phile and their meanings, but appreciation still can’t make you like something that you don’t like. As for what I did like, my hidden gems for this album were Let Me Know (which finally lets them sing and be open with their feelings), Could You Turn Off Your Cellphone (harmonizing again), and Look Here (very odd but I enjoy the horns).
I Need U is surprisingly calm in its intro and is very much poppier than the last few title tracks have been, with more of an anguished edge than a youthful “I’m cooler than you” edge, which I appreciated. I liked this one. It’s much better at balancing the harmonizing with rap and the instrumental (which is very interesting, by the way) than the previous songs, and I can see how it sets them on the path after that leads to their more melancholy and contemplative title tracks further down the line.
Tumblr media
Run works as a good foil; it’s pretty upbeat, which does make sense given that it’s (somewhat) a love song. I love the way the chorus surges forward and even though it’s poppier than the others, it doesn’t feel like they’ve lost their identity. It still feels like a BTS song, basically. It’ll probably be making an appearance on my gym playlist, which is never a bad thing.
As a side note, I love that so many of their songs embrace the idea of full pre-choruses, choruses, and post-choruses, because it makes each track feel more intentional and lived in, not like they’re trying to fill space on an album or have empty space. In the k-pop songs that are on my top 25 (of which two are BTS), this holds true for the vast majority of them.
Dope is a song that, like War Of Hormone, feels like it arrives, not begins, with its “Ladies and gentlemen”, and I love the build-up that it has leading to the chorus. But…it just doesn’t have enough payoff to that build-up for me, with an empty, shouty chorus and more lyrics about how great they are. I know a lot of people love it, but it has too many of my pet peeves to get past. Sorry, guys.
In the same vein, I should like Fire. I love an explosion of a chorus and I adore a song about burning down the system as much as the next witch. I love the lyrics, and I think that pre-choruses are good and the bridge especially is great. But I don’t like this song. At all. It comes dangerously close to grating one too many times for me, and embraces all of the worst aspects of their early material with none of the charm that had me chuckling with, not at, the first few albums. I’ve mentioned many times how much I hate an anti-drop and this song does absolutely nothing to change my mind. I expect the cursing to the heavens to come in in about 3…2…1…
Tumblr media
Save Me is the last single from the album, and the most similar to the BTS songs I’ve heard before: ethereal, wispy, ruminating, and with a soft electronic background. I do like this one, although I wish the last chorus had more of an end (like I was a bit confused when the next song started) and I wish the main rap was a bit calmer to fit with the rest of the song. It’s at its best when it allows their voices to just be and meld with each other.
I have one main hidden gem for this album, which is Butterfly. It’s no surprise that I love this one with how insane I am about harmonizing and vulnerability, but I really do love it. I feel like this should’ve been a single instead of Save Me, to be honest. All of the main gripes I have with it are remedied here: the chorus is fuller, the ending feels earned, and the raps are just calmer enough that they don’t stick out like a sore thumb. I also appreciated Taehyung’s voice more than I have in the past, and I’m glad for him in the chorus.
Also, speaking of vulnerability, I also, somewhat surprisingly, like the intro of the Most Beautiful Moment In Life, although I didn’t plan to on first listen. I appreciate that this song doesn’t try to paint them as above the world or better than anyone, but embraces the genuine emotion that they’re so good at conveying. It’s such a raw expression of exhaustion that I felt sympathy even before I looked up the words, which is pretty damn powerful.
And….breathe. Would it surprise you to learn that we’re only in mid 2016? Yeah, yeah, me too, kid. This is where Part 1 ends, I do my Supplemental for the week tomorrow (a boy group who I highly doubt you’ve heard of), and we all go touch some grass and eat some Doritos. K? K.
Tumblr media
I’ll see you next week, for both Part 2 of this odyssey and a girl group supplemental!

About the podcast - they had a few weeks where they called the plots A, B and C. That made sense. Except when it was the Home edition the Kurt story was plot C behind Will and April.
Then they dropped an organized structure. Now I can’t understand why they talk about some plots as much as they do. In NBk, was the boys/Tina/Beiste plot really more important than the first Klaine meeting? Or was it just cos Jenna was in it?
Ok I want to hear about my faves but it’s like they were playing down some plots?
As I said with the previous ask - I don't think they were playing down plots. I think both Kevin and Jenna focus on things they were a part of or are emotionally connected to.
You can tell how close, especially Kevin, was to Naya - as Santana related material really hits deep with them. I can also tell they have a fondness for Finn in a way a lot of the fandom didn't - and this stems a lot from them being good friends with Cory.
To flip it a little - let's talk about Darren watching NBK a few years ago for the tenth anniversary of his appearance. He talks very fondly of his time - gives BTS stories, talks kindly about Chris, and gives us insight about what filming was like. And... he pretty much skipped things that weren't related to him. Yes - I realize the context was a little different - because he wasn't doing a recap podcast. But my point is - he ultimately talks about /his/ experiences.
I do believe it's the same kind of thing with Kevin and Jenna. They aren't putting much effort into things that aren't related to them. As I said in the other ask - they aren't interested in the deep dives like The Office Ladies or looking at the whole picture like Pod Meets World. And that's fine - it's their podcast.
Hopefully something will strike their fancy enough to spend a little more time on things I like, but I'm not holding my breath. They seem to be entertained by wildly different things than what interests me.
*shrugs* it is what it is I suppose.

'Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies shares his honest thoughts about how he approached writing David Tennant's Fourteenth Doctor return. In October 2022, the show revealed a shocking twist when Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor took on the face of her Tenth incarnation in "The Power of the Doctor." Tennant's return to the role will help celebrate the show's 60th anniversary across three-anniversary specials before Ncuti Gatwa takes the keys to the TARDIS as the Fifteenth Doctor for the 2023 seasonal special, Doctor Who season 14, and beyond.
After the release of the first Doctor Who 60th-anniversary episode, "The Star Beast," Davies sat down with the BTS show Doctor Who: Unleashed. The showrunner stated he had no reservations about Tennant's return despite any potential backlash he could face from the fandom. He then explains that the scenario would allow his regeneration into Gatwa to be unlike anything the series has seen following a slowly unfolding arc across the background of the three-anniversary specials. Check out Davies' full response below:
Oh! I didn’t worry about that for a second. It was just like, so, Jodie Whittaker becomes David Tennant. Once you think that, it’s like, there’s no rules, you can do absolutely everything you want. There’ll be fans complaining about that, “You can’t do that.” Every time someone says “You can’t do that,”, that’s exactly where you should go.
It’s funny, because he’s an old Doctor, he’s played the Doctor before, but this has never happened. The Doctor’s never got his face back before, or her face back before, so that’s fascinating. It’s a plot that runs throughout the three hours of why has this happened, why has this happened, and leads towards the most extraordinary ending, which is a scene we’ve never played before in the whole 60 years of Doctor Who, so, that’s what I mean – New areas, new territory, new thoughts, new lines, new ideas. That’s always the right place to be.
What Do We Know About The Fourteenth Doctor's Familiar Face So Far
The Doctor donning a precious regeneration's face during a new incarnation was one of many mysteries surrounding the possibilities that the concept could hold, alongside other questions, including the mysterious "Brain of Morbius" Doctors and the dark inevitability of the Valeyard (Michael Jayston) from the "Trial of a Time Lord" story arc. First teased in the closing moments of Doctor Who's 50th-anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor," in 2013, the Eleventh Doctor meets the Curator of the Under Gallery, played by Fourth Doctor actor Tom Baker, who is hinted to be a retired future incarnation of the Doctor many regenerations later. Hinting that the Doctor would revisit "old favorite" faces in future regenerations, other incarnations of The Curator in expanded media include regenerations resembling the Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) and the Eleventh Doctor (Marr Smith).
However, the circumstances of Tennant's return are shaping to be something outside his future as the Curator. Promotional material for Doctor Who's 60th-anniversary had emphasized the mystery. The question was further doubled down on this in "The Star Beast," as the Doctor speculates whether his familiar face had anything to do with his reunion with Donna Noble (Catherine Tate). However, the episode quickly disproved the theory that he took on an older face to say farewell to Donna when both discovered that her potentially fatal Metacrisis condition had been healed. These developments launched theories about whether Neil Patrick Harris' Toymaker may have meddled in the process.
Classic Doctors returning is a familiar, fondly-loved tradition of significant Doctor Who milestones, but Tennant's latest return has also raised many questions. While some viewers may initially have fears that it is simply a move to cash in on nostalgia, it is clear that Davies has taken steps to avoid falling into such traps. With the showrunner teasing a unique regeneration that takes the show in new directions, Tennant's farewell and Gatwa's Doctor debut will end the 60th-anniversary celebrations with a grand finale.'

Guysss! To pursue my (maybe) dream of becoming a journalist, I started a blog page just for reviews of various media! And then I forgot to tell Tumblr! So far I've done several album and song reviews--mostly k-pop but we did throw Hannah Grae in there. I also did a multi-part series on the book BTS released for their tenth anniversary, and two film reviews (one of them is very pink!) Anyway, you can find most of the reviews through the links below! If you're looking for somewhere to start, I suggest Screw Loose, Social Path, and The Moment: Bounce. These are the most recent and therefore most well-written, but feel free to check out anything else that interests you!

anyone else starting to get the vibe that bts didn't get that military exemption like.... they dropped a compilation album this year instead of on their tenth anniversary next year, and the new song on it was a callback to the album that got them popular in the first place and it's all about what's "yet to come"...... hyung line military era incoming!

Lover- min yoongi
So i did a small drabel with no editing but it just pop in head so i need to write it.
Falling for Jeon Jungkook was fast. Him being a recently debuted idol and you a trainee for YG going to the same high school. You were born to a Mexican mom and Korean dad in the States english class was a easy A so within the week of tutoring sessions for Jungkook you were sure you were in love.
Hiding was hard. Late nights dates in convienience stores and dorm movies with his members.
Loving him was sweet, blushing cheeks and butterflies in the belly. First kisses in the park, sweaty hand holding and longing stares.
When you debuted as the maknae of the new YG group it became even more difficult.
Falling out of love of Jungkook was easy. Easy come, easy goes. He became distant and while you pray for him to stay, he was pulling away.
Until you were caught. Every media site published the picture were you were hugging in the park. Fans public proofs of your relationship couple rings and pictures on the same location. Ready to deny the relationship, your company never expected to have a positive reaction. So they used as a publicity boost. But the love had faded no more blushing cheeks or butterflies.
Falling in love with Min Yoongi was slowly. The first year was walks to your dorm while Jungkook was in vocal practice.
The second year was late night studio sessions working in songs and doing vocals for his mixtape sharing goals and fears.
The third year was rap writing and piano lessons.
The fourth year was soft muffled tears against his chest, admiration in eyes and wise advises.
The fith was soft butterflies in the belly, lip staring and the "i can't do this".
The sixth was a realisation, your publicly confirmed boyfriend giving his aproval and support, hand holding. A first kiss against the door on the snowy december night, a birthday gift, a sincere "i'm proud of you"
The seventh was moving to a house together, online buying light fixtures, choosing a big couch, putting awards in shelfs and records in the walls. The first time of intimate nights.
The eight was kitchen backhugs and careful showers, having him all day in home. Rehabilitation sessions and hands clasped together. Longing, him tired of sharing you. A statement " Jungkook from BTS and Y/N from Blackpink decided to part ways..."
The ninth year was december kisses and a ring, a question and a answer; "yes" the I love you's. The february wedding in your garden, a blue bouquet, and a borrowed heart necklace, a new bracelet "you are the best of me, my universe" a teary exchange of vows. A sealing kiss. Jungkook laughing while spinning you a first dance your song playing.
The tenth year was soft nights, concert nights, award sneaky glances and indirect thank you speeches, the first fan theory, a solo album declaring love. "This love is so pure, i don't want people to tainted" the confirmation statement the backlash and the first anniversary. The public acceptance.
The eleventh year was adopting a puppy, Jungkook's wedding.
Loving Jungkook was a warm bath, first relaxing and then cold shivers.
Loving Min Yoongi was spring days. Cozy autumn night by the fire. Chamomile tea for a sore throat.   Min Yoongi was midnight snacks and all nighters in the studio writing love songs.
Min Yoongi is not a temporary love, he is the moon and the sun, he is the shoulder to cry and the reason of smiles, he is the coffee cup in bed and the soft breeze against heated skin.
He is more than love.

me, an old army who has been following them since their debut: *unfortunately starting to lose interest in what Bangtan is doing because it's not really my style anymore since 2019 ; so focuses more on their solo projects* bts: *announces PROOF* armys: *excited* still me: ok forget about what i said *gets excited too*
more seriously, hello Sae! ^^
i allow myself to send you this message because i've the impression that PROOF seems to be BTS' "answer" to a certain disappointment from the "old" (or new, btw) ARMYs who are rather fans of their old works, more than those the boys are releasing lately (and which was observable on social media). But it could also be a way to celebrate the band's tenth anniversary, quite simply… or maybe neither xD
it's a question i ask myself, i've received various opinions, but as i really like your blog, i'd also like your opinion on PROOF's "meaning" given the career of BTS 👉👈
but obviously feel free to delete this ask if you don't think it's relevant! anyway, i wish you a nice day/evening, and a lot of good vibes, stay safe! <3
that was long sorry 🥲
hello hey! i hope u are having a nice weekend too ♡ hmm my opinion on proof..... alright here it is: i think that with proof they're gonna conclude the current ongoing BU storyline (u know the one with seokjin going back in time again and again to save the other members everytime) and gonna enter a new storyline (hence the "beginning of a new chapter" that hybe said during the album announcement). another evidence to support my argument is the upcoming "DOOR" concept picture. bts are seen entering and passing through doors several times in many vcr's so the door here could mean exiting and entering in a new era. hence the anthology, as a conclusion to the current storyline and the beginning of a new one. this could also be why the lead track is called "yet to come". thank u for coming to my ted talk.

'One year since the epic reveal of David Tennant returning as the Doctor following the Thirteenth Doctor's regeneration, Doctor Who has released a behind-the-scenes video of how the regeneration came to be.
No one can forget the moment when Jodie Whittaker's Doctor bid farewell and said: "That's the only sad thing... I wanna know what happens next. Right then, Doctor whoever I'm about to be – tag, you're it!" And we were soon met with a very familiar face.
The new video shows how Tennant developed the regeneration with the crew, and how Whittaker was still a part of the process.
Filmed in 2022, Tennant said: "I have no idea what is going on in this scene, all I know is I turn up at the end of it. I've not been allowed to see anything else. It's all a mystery to me.
"Jodie was supposed to turn into me but Jodie's not here. She did her bit a long time ago. We were texting through the whole experience, I wanted her to feel like she was sharing it in the moment."
Fans can see Tennant filming in front of a green screen, attempting to mimic how Jodie Whittaker's final scene went as she wasn't in attendance.
Rachel Talalay, who has directed the first of David Tennant's Fourteenth Doctor 60th anniversary specials, explained she was given the footage of Jodie's regeneration and had to ensure her turning into David was executed perfectly.
One part of the video shows Talalay explaining to Tennant how the regeneration is going to work.
"So by the time you come out of that into the forward position. It will be fully you. And then you'll have to tell us what you want to do," she tells him, to which he responds: "[I'll] do it exactly as I did it last time."
In the iconic regeneration, Tennant's Doctor says: "I know these teeth," which is a reference to the Tenth Doctor's first words ("New teeth... that's weird."), before then saying Ten's classic "What? What?! WHAT?!"
Speaking about watching Doctor Who regenerations as a child, Tennant said: "I remember as a kid those moments when the Doctor changed. It was mind-blowing, inconceivably exciting. It was the beginning of a new chapter for this show that I loved so much. So you want to try and remember that when you're at the other side of it, telling that story."
Russell T Davies, who returns as Doctor Who showrunner, made it clear that Tennant is "the Fourteenth Doctor", and that there is "something subtler going on that does get revealed".
Tennant recently teased the upcoming Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials, saying the instalments will be "unlike any episode ever".
While details about what the specials will entail remain shrouded in secrecy, Tennant said: "I was surprised when I saw what that first script was based on, then I read the second script, which is unlike any Doctor Who episode ever. These new specials are Russell off the leash."
Towards the end of the video, Tennant said the intention behind the regeneration was to "take a few people by surprise".
"Part of the idea of announcing Ncuti's name was so that people would be expecting him to turn up in this scene," he explained.
Ncuti Gatwa was announced as the new Doctor in May 2022, and makes history as the first Black actor be cast as the regular lead in Doctor Who.'

Stucky headcanons because I can so I will
Yes yes SamBucky but shut up for a second. I love stucky and so we will have stucky. Most of these are pre-serum coz that’s the only Steve I can tolerate
Pre-Serum Steve loved getting into fights a lot as we all know and Bucky always has to tend to their wounds always and one day Steve asks why he does all of this for him and Bucky just goes ‘Because you mean a lot to me dumbass’ and quietly continues bandaging up Steve and that’s how Steve realises he is in love with Bucky
Bucky realises he loves Steve when one day Steve gets really really badly beat up one day, and he has to spend a long time at the hospital and Bucky thinks they aren’t going to make it so he visits them everyday until one of the days he starts crying and realises that he is In Love with Steve
One day Steve and Bucky are just having a chill day and relaxing on the small battered couch at Steve’s apartment and of course they are Steve and Bucky so they are glued together and Bucky has one arm around Steve who is tucked into Bucky’s chest and he’s ranting and shaking their hands and he accidentally smacks Bucky’s face and Bucky is just ‘owwww’ and he bends over and Steve just grabs his shoulder and cups their hands around Bucky’s head to check for injuries and they are just so close and Bucky’s brain just short circuits and he kisses Steve on the spot. Steve nearly faints and they are just blubbering like a fish out of water and Bucky is just like ‘oh god what have I done’ and he gets up to leave but then Steve climbs on the couch arms/handles coz he’s really short, and pulls Bucky back and smashes their lips together.
Bucky and Steve accidentally propose at the same time during their tenth anniversary. After they both go through the whole being iced and being a brain washed murder machine they get together again and they are together for about... what seven years and counting the three years before all their trauma it gives u ten so u can see where I’m going with this. Anyways back to the proposal. They both try and do the ‘ring in the champagne glass’ trick and they both try and keeping switching glasses and then at one point the waiter (who is Sam in disguise because he is being assigned to video tape the whole thing) just looses his shit and blurts out that they both are proposing.
Wedding day. Bucky and Steve cry so fucking much it’s hard to determine who’s crying more. The whole day actually goes smoothly because Pepper micromanages everyone’s each move. Everything goes smoothly until dinner time when Sam and Torres (yes I ship them) are arguing about something and they fall in to the cake FirstPrince style. Oh and they dance to friends by BTS because it’s their song (because this is MY headcanons and I can do whatever I want). They also end up getting drunk and trying to have a dance battle with science boyfriends soon to be husbands.
During their honeymoon Bucky gets drunk and does the ‘good luck returning me bastard’ while burning their marraige certificate.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
